Chapter 12
The following morning, Sahara awoke feeling a sense of freedom that she hadn't felt in a long time. She smiled once she realized that Little Knife had his large arm wrapped around her waist. The sun's rays trickled through the tiny cracks between the pieces of wood.
Rising up, Sahara very carefully slid herself out from under his arm. She pulled his cape up and wrapped it around her naked torso. Brushing her hair away from her face, she had a thought hit her. She knew she should feel guilty for lying with a man who was not her husband but, nothing but happiness filled her.
Standing up with that cape wrapped around her, she walked over to the window and looked at the river. She heard Little Knife roll over with a loud groan. Smiling, she looked back and saw that he was looking right at her.
"Good morning" Sahara spoke softly as her thoughts ran everywhere.
"It is that" he spoke as he rose up onto his elbow, curious as to why she was up out of bed.
"Yes it is" she turned around and walked back over to sit down in front of him.
"Where are your thoughts at?" he asked as he sat up.
"I have some unfinished business back on Earth. Last night made me realize that I can't allow my husband to get away with what he did to me. I also want to make sure that he doesn't do this to another woman" she explained as she placed a hand on top of his.
"You've been hanging around me to long?" he chuckled, knowing that this was something that needed to be done.
"Let's just say, you've healed in more ways than one. I also need to let my parents know that I am still alive and tell them the truth before he corrupts them with lies. It's the right thing to do" she felt a sense of relief wash over her as he placed his hand on her cheek.
"So, you do not wish to stay" it was more of a question that he needed to know the answer to. He knew what he felt was real and, if she asked, he would do whatever she wanted to do.
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you but, I have to clear this up before the baby comes. After that, then I want nothing more than to traipse across the galaxy with you" she said, placing a hand on his face. She now knew what it felt like to have an animalistic urge and planned to exploit it against her husband. After that, she was going to enjoy her life with Little Knife by her side. She knew he had another female and that it was nothing unusual for males and females to have multiple mates over the course of their lifetimes. She had no qualms with sharing him because, he was completely honest with her about their civilization and how their ways differed from humans.
"Even with the knowledge of me having multiple mates?" he had to make sure she understood his world.
"Yes" she leaned into his neck and nibbled his shoulder. She made a growl as he pulled her tighter against him. He had somehow been able to bring the animal out of her. She felt like a wild animal. Completely untamed and uncontrollable.
"We'll leave tomorrow morning. Head to Earth for some hunting while you handle what you need to" he didn't expect her to become so amorous after mating but, he gathered that because it was over the top that it brought out the frisky side of her that had been dormant.
"Alright" she chuckled as she gave him a gentle shove causing him to lay on his back.
She heard his chuckle as she climbed on top of him and allowed his cape to fall off and away from her body, giving him an ample view of his conquest from last night. Leaning forward as his hands glided over her bare skin, she nibbled on his neck and made her way down his chest, eliciting some pleasurable groans from him. Her nails dug into his shoulders as she pleasured herself with his body. She never once thought it was possible for a woman to take total control over a man until now and she refused to relinquish control again.
I hope everyone enjoyed this short chapter. I figured I needed a filler chapter before heading over to the next one. If anyone has any suggestions, questions, or comments, please feel free to speak your mind. Many Cyber Hugs to all readers and reviewers.
