The Freshman Dorm

Chloe stood outside Beca's door kissing her, starting to feel the fatigue of the long night and early morning walk back to Beca's dorm. She didn't feel it at first, the fact that Beca's hand was entwined with her's the whole deserted walk back to the dorm definitely helped. But now, as they stood at the door, reluctant to say goodbye, all Chloe wanted to do was to curl up in bed with Beca and sleep in her arms.

Unfortunately, they were snapped back into reality as Beca's over-achieving roommates early morning alarm began to go off behind her door. Beca pulled away from Chloe and gave her a small smile. "I should really go, Kimmy-Jin is going to be in a foul mood if she catches us"

Chloe nodded and gave Beca one small, quick kiss before unwillingly letting go of her hand. Beca began to unlock the door and Chloe looked her over once more before speaking. "So I guess I'll see you at Bella practice later?" Beca gave her a small nod and blew her one more kiss that turned into a yawn, before slipping inside her room.

Chloe watched the door close and turned around to head back to her dorms, a huge smile cracking across her face. She could barely believe it, her and Beca. She had never felt anything like this before, especially not with another woman. Sure, she had had her flings with girls in the past, but that's all they really were, experimenting flings. This was different, and real.

As she quietly opened the door to her own suite, she noticed that Aubrey wasn't there. Her bed didn't look slept in, but Aubrey always made her bed immediately after leaving it, so that didn't mean anything. Chloe shrugged and went to plug in her dead phone. Yawning, she climbed onto her bed and kicked her pants off. Checking the now lit phone, she saw no messages from Aubrey. Shrugging off her jacket, she slipped into bed and pulled the blanket over her, ready for a decent rest before rehearsal.

Five Minutes Later

Chloe was almost immediately awakened again by the slamming of their door and shot up. Aubrey was fully dressed, with coffee and bags of food in hand. Chloe groaned and shook her head. "No, no, no. Not today. We have rehearsal later!"

Aubrey smiled and went to Chloe's bed, sitting down on her body and tossing one of the bags at her. "It's a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant from that place you like" She grabbed one of the coffee's and held it under Chloe's nose. "And you're favorite kind of latte."

The scent of the fresh coffee wafted into her nostrils, mixing with the scent of the breakfast sandwich. "So not fair, Bree. I had a long night. I got my excercise for the day"

Aubrey scoffed. "Oh please, I saw you leave with Beca. And even if you did meet up with Tom, or whoever it is this week, I refuse to take that as an excuse. Come on girl, up and at 'em!" Aubrey ripped her blanket off and went to grab Chloe's running pants.

Chloe realized that resistance was futile, and slowly climbed out of bed. Redressing herself in her work out clothes, she took a big gulp of still scalding coffee and tried to shake the exhaustion from her mind. "You are so lucky that I love you, Bree, cause this is bullshit"

Aubrey scoffed again at Chloe's use of foul language and checked her hair in her mirror. "That is an unnecessary tone, Chlo. Were you not there last night? Do you not remember what happened?" Oh, Chloe remembered alright. "We sounded good, Chlo. For the first time, we sounded like a real team, winners. We got to strike while the irons hot!"

Chloe was shoving the breakfast sandwich in her mouth as Aubrey went off on her little tirade. This was definitely one of her be quiet and nod along speeches. Although, since all Aubrey could talk about was last night, all that Chloe could think about was last night.

After several hours of making out around the pool, Beca and Chloe walked pretty wordlessly back to her room. Chloe was too scared to ask about their future, and she could feel Beca was too nervous to bring it up. So they enjoyed each other, just holding hands and taking in the rare feeling of being together, while they walked through the deserted campus.

Aubrey slapped Chloe's ass and it brought her back to reality. "Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Chloe groaned once more and finished her coffee in a few scalding gulps before tossing it in the basket and following Aubrey out the door.
