A/N: It has been ages since I last updated. (I just can't keep posting new new chapters up to date.) But actually I wrote this after I updated the previous chapter so I just didn't know how it got to this. HAHA. I actually thought I didn't write this chapter well (and this whole story) but hmm I'll just trust my old self and suggestions and comments from your reviews. I hope I'll end this series well but for now please enjoy ^^.

CHAPTER 12 - Sunlight

The sun already rose now facing the south direction. It was almost about 12 o'clock noon, yet Akashi and Kuroko is still lying on the bed. Unexpectedly, they did it several times more, not worrying about attending the school the day after; and now they are undoubtedly late for it.

The sunlight found its way to pierce through the apartment's curtains reflecting on Kuroko's face. It perked her eyes as she yawned and stretched her arms upward. She tried to get back to sleeping position but she soon realized that the sun is already high up. She panicked as she quickly jumped off the bed still hoping to attend the remaining classes. She grabbed her school uniform, clothing her still barely naked body.

He woke up earlier than she did but Akashi was silently watching her expressions while his hand was below his chin.

"Akashi-kun, you're awake? Why didn't you wake me up?"

"It was because we'll be late for sure, so there's really nothing to be worried about so let's take a day off." It was not a reply she was hoping from Akashi, as he even spoke it with a poker face.

"Aren't you supposed to be a model student?" she asked curiously.

"But I'm tired…from having sex" he responded teasingly as it was super effective since Kuroko's cheeks become bright red and her movements stiffen. "And if you're really planning to go to school I think you need to take a bath first, since you're filled with my semen"

Suddenly a pillow was send flying to the direction of Akashi's face but luckily he had fast reflex and he swiftly dodge the attack.

"Akashi-kun you're an idiot!" Kuroko rushed towards the bathroom slamming the door shut.

Akashi scratched the back of his hair and gave out a sigh. Maybe I overdid it…a little. He got up from the bed and wore his pants. It was lucky that his school uniform didn't get stained from last night. He went towards the kitchen and prepared a meal, a way to compensate from his disastrous attitude from earlier.

It was a breakfast and lunch at the same time, brunch. Though he never liked eating this type of meal, he had no choice since its too late for breakfast and lunch is too heavy for a person who just woke up.

It was a simple dish: hotdog, a sunny side up and fried rice. It was all he could come up with the stuff inside Kuroko's kitchen. It was already a surprise that he can actually cook; well he is an honour student so there's really nothing he can't do. But he is male and on top of that he's the rich president's son. On the perspective of other people, he might've looked an ideal, perfect student. But behind all these, he also has flaws…

The door knob was turned and soon Kuroko went out from the bathroom. There were still visible steams coming out from the door. Her hair is still dripping with water as she smelled shampoo.

"Wipe your hair dry and quickly eat your meal" Akashi commanded her while setting up the dinner table. Sometimes she wonders why he always acts so high-and-mighty. Cold and unresponsive but become the opposite at times.

"This meal won't make up for the things you said earlier." She said while Akashi escorted her like a princess and gave her a sweet smile. It made her a littler frustrated.

She sat down as she looked at meal he prepared. It wasn't the first time he made her something to eat. Kuroko began to reminisce those times where she and Akashi weren't really on good terms, but she really felt a strong connection between them. And even though it was fast-paced, she knows that was she felt was true and she already has fallen…deeply in love.

Kuroko was already eating when he noticed Akashi still half-naked exposing her torso. She choked. Her eyes were glued on the sight. She blushed since she can't help but to remember what happened last night and quickly gulped a glass of water.

"I-Ittekimasu!" she shouted as she slammed the glass on the table.

"Ah" he responded.

That's it? All he can say is ah?

Kuroko was slightly annoyed and went towards to open the door without even saying his final greetings to Akashi. He's so carefree just because he's captain.

The bell rang to start the 4th period as Kuroko just made it in time. She slammed her books on the desk and started writing notes. The time flies by as Kuroko just stared at the blackboard the whole afternoon. Classes are boring for any students who ever lived in Earth, but she's trying her best to show her father what she's worth. After all, she can't forget her ultimate goal for everything.

Kuroko was slightly different in class but she was quiet as usual. She was focused on studying and would not let others disturbed her. That's how she gained the title phantom in the basketball club. She usually gets unnoticed since she doesn't get along nor had any friends in her class. But she was satisfied, as long as she could get what she desired; the recognition of his father. But, lately she was doubting herself if she ever have to prove something…that was ever since he met Akashi.

But there are still things left unexplained. Akashi's words still rings in her ears. Have I really met him before?

The bell rang for the last time in the day. Homeroom ended, the last session for the whole day. At last all students can have a sigh of relief as well as her. She started to prepare her things to go to the basketball club but Aomine was suddenly in front of her.

"Do you have a minute, I got to talk to you" Aomine said in such a straightforward manner. She hesitated since it was already time for basketball practice and they could talk along the way.

They went towards the west side stairs where rarely students use. It was only the two of them and it grew silent and awkward. Aomine gulped, it seems like he couldn't start the conversation.

"A-aomine-kun, do you have any issues?" she scratched the side of her forehead as the awkwardness started to get into her.

"I hope you won't take it offensively and I want to tell it straight" her heart started to pound loudly. What could he probably want to say?

Wait. She wanted those words to come out from her mouth but he didn't give her any chance to respond.

"I want you to quit from the Basketball club"

"P-pardon?" it gave her a shock that she stiffen.

"I want you to quit Kuroko. Basketball is not for you." Her ears weren't fooling her, he really wanted her to quit. His glare even made her more nervous that she can't think anything straight and she can't even murmur a word.

She shook her head and forced a smile. "E-eh? B-but why?" Her hands were undeniably shaking and he's aware.

"I can't have a feminine player among the basketball club." Her heart pounded louder and faster than before that she couldn't breathe. Could he have known my secret? Does he know that I'm a girl?

"I couldn't take a homo being in the boy's basketball club…"

Aomine continued talking but it didn't even ring into Kuroko's head. Her mind just kept repeating the same word…HOMO.

"Ahahaha!" someone laughed so hard that the hallway was filled with his laughter. Kuroko turned as he was surprised to see Akashi and Aomine gone.

Kuroko was so shocked that she didn't even noticed that Aomine has long been gone, while Akashi on the other hand was watching the whole conversation from afar.

Akashi wiped the tears that came running from his laughter. He never intended to stalk Kuroko but it made him worry when Aomine wanted to talk to her and he never expected to hear that kind of conversation.

"Akashi-kun, does that mean I gave a homo vibe?"

"Haha! Well that was to be expected though." He responded teasingly

"EEHHH?!"

"I mean you're a girl after all Tetsuya. And don't fret about it anymore since you're the most beautiful woman I have ever met."

Akashi pats her head like she was a child to lighten up the mood, but what they didn't know was Aomine was on his way back to say sorry to Kuroko after he realized how rude he had been. And he was able to hear their conversation, especially the last one.

He wasn't homo but a real girl?!
