Disclaimer: I do not own any part of Assassins Creed. If I did, I would probably get Ezio's Assassin Hidden Blade/Gun. I love that weapon.. Enjoy!

"Did you hear that?" Altair asked. All of them shook their heads. "Strange… I heard someone scream…"
"You're sure?" Fatin asked.
"I am." Altair responded without a doubt. "I just heard another one…"
"You're just imagining things." Nu'man dismissed. "Come on, we have to get them before it's too late." Altair ignored what he heard and continued on, ignoring his gut.
I wrapped the towel under my shoulders and I ran straight towards them. I made sure my towel didn't fall of its rightful place. They probably thought I was going to stop. But no, I wouldn't. One thing I had learned watching the few sports I did was something very important, tackling. I would thank my sports loving family later.
I tackled Halim. He fell on the ground and I was on top of him. It worked successfully. I flipped him around and put both of his arms on his back in a secure position that he wouldn't be allowed to move and fight easily. I picked him up, still making sure I had his hands in a secure place, and put him on his knees. I stood right beside him.
"Now… Get on your knees!" I ordered the rest of them.
"Rough… I like it." Halim whispered. I hit him in his head.
"Why should we?" Wasim asked. Why is he so innocent at a time like this? I wanted clothes!
"Look, I have a goddamn hostage." I said as I signaled Halim. "Now do as I say."
"You do know you have no weapons…" Shihab commented.
"Or so you say…" I told him as I grabbed Halim's sword from his holster.
"You should have said quiet…" Hugo said disappointed.
"He isn't the brightest one, as you may have noticed." Halim acknowledged.
"I am!" Shihab argued.
"Shihab, I don't think it's time for this." Faisal commented.
"Look, I don't care about this hostage…" Shihab commenced. He stopped as he saw me raising the sword and aiming it at him like a throwing weapon. "…It doesn't work like that, you know?"
"I don't care." I told him. I even closed an eye and made as if I was throwing my sword. Now that I thought about it… This might be a good idea in some weird situation.
Shihab sat down and did as I told. The rest of them followed.
"Ok…" I started planning the mental idea. "I think it's about time all of you told me where my clothes are?"
"We know nothing!" Faisal shouted.
"Bullshit. Where are my clothes?" I asked once again. I was waving my sword all around to make sure some intimidation.
"We'll never tell you about it!" Wasim also shouted. I was starting to get cold and I didn't want to get sick. This was a top priority now.
"I'll ask you one more time." I told them in the most serious voice I could do. "Where are they?"
I saw as Shihab was opening his mouth, I saw a bush moving.
Reinforcements. Shit.
I let go of my hostage and run to another bush that was somewhat far enough from the one the sound originated from. "I will get you all someday!" I screamed. I hid in the bush. When I heard no more sound, I ran towards the only place where my clothes could be. The camp.
"What happened to all of you?" Amir asked concerned as he saw his fellow companions on their knees on the floor.
"I…" Wasim started, but nothing came out of his mouth.
"We've been discovered." Hugo whispered. He also was in a weird state, having his mouth hanging open.
"He discovered us!" James exclaimed, frustrated.
"I knew it wouldn't be that easy! He always ruins everything." Nigel said, annoyed.
"It's all your fault! You should have never returned!" Nu'man blamed.
"Well… I think I did one of the wisest decisions of my life today." Halim said, with a grin on his face.
"You just ruined the operation and you're happy?" Fatin critiqued.
"Well… You see…" Faisal started.
"He's a she!" Shihab spurred out.
"What?" All of them asked at the same time.
"She's gone on a mad rampage… Who knows what she has done to the people at the camp…" Wasim started. "We should have never left Sahl there!" He cried.
"Do not worry." Altair said. Everyone looked at him. "There is no way he will find his way back to the camp. Have you seen how lost he gets?"
"She." Fatin corrected. "But, I do agree. It's almost impossible for her to find her way around. Let alone, arrive before us."
"Did anyone notice the beans from here to there?" Bahr asked all of them. None answered.
"Do you think he would do that?" Dougal doubted.
"She." Corrected Fatin once again. After that said, all of them went running straight to their camp.
I knew this stupid trail technique would be useful someday! I had arrived at the camp in no time at all and saw almost none presence there. I only saw a few people tied down against a tree and Aswad looking at the sky. I believed all of them where bystanders in all of this, and if my gut had served me right, I believe Nu'man was the one who had the idea.
That guy… He should have at least left me my clothes!
"Psssst." I whispered. I had all eyes on me now.
"Are you lost, my lady?" Aswad asked like a knight. He looked more surprised than anything that I had found this spot.
"Look, I have no time for this." I told him. He raised both eyes when he heard my voice. I saw all the men around the tree also immediately recognize my voice.
"Ahmex?" Mushtaq tried to mutter my name.
"The one and only. Now look. I'm in some trouble now, my fair knight." I told Aswad sarcastically. These people were not getting the fact that I needed clothes. Now.
"Yes?" He answered awkwardly.
"I need…" I started, but got interrupted by bush sounds. I ran to the bush that I came from and hid there.
"Aswad, quick, did you see him?" Nu'man asked fast.
"She." Fatin corrected once again.
Please, Aswad. Do not make me get discovered. Please…
"I… Uhm…" Aswad said awkwardly. He was never one to lose his cool. This was bad.
"He's nearby!" Nu'man stated.
Shit…
I was just about to turn around when I saw black and felt as I hit my head to the ground…
"Ouch…" I said as I woke up. I wasn't very sure what was happening now. I looked up and saw that it was still early day time, but a bit later. Maybe. I was still no astrologer. I had this headache for some reason…
"He's awake." Dougal informed. I saw as all the heads I could see turned, looking at me.
"She." Nu'man teased. Dougal didn't get mad. It was chilly for some reason. I looked down and saw that I was in my towel.
Not this again…
"I think you have some explaining to do…" Altair said as he sat down by the bonfire. Everyone one else did as he was, and sat down, but none of them close to me. I noticed that I also was close to it.
"Look…" I started. I was going to move my hands, but my hands were tied up behind my back. Great. "We can talk later about this."
"Now." All of them ordered at the same time.
"I'm going to get sick." I told them. They ignored me. "What about the knight in shining armor thing that's going on, around these times?"
"These times?" All of them repeated.
"I mean around here." I improved. I think I should distract them fast. "What do you want to know?"
"How about to start with your real name?" Bahr said in a threatening voice. For some reason, I didn't feel afraid. Weird… Maybe, it's the headache.
"It's Alexa." I answered not to creat more drama than what we already had.
"Since when were you a woman?" Fatin asked. That was a weird way to start.
"Since I was born?" I answered. I'm confused about the way this was going.
"I'm somewhat disappointed in you in that question…" Amir whispered to Fatin.
"Why did you hide your… femaleness?" Sahl asked cutely.
"Where you a tomboy woman and escaped your parents at a young age to make your dreams of becoming a knight and not get married. And so, you escaped and tried to look for adventure. But, you noticed that your childhood dream wasn't as easy as you thought and where thinking of going back home and marry your childhood betrothed?" Nu'man asked, but it sounded like he had all my life story planned.
"No." I answered simply.
"Well then… Where you a princess in a faraway country. Your fathers died in a revolution and you're hiding your identity as a female, if someone may recognize you and try to kill you. You also went far away just to make sure your identity may never be discovered. But, one day you felled in love and because you cannot show your identity, you're escaping once again?" Nu'man asked again.
"No." I answered.
"Hmmm…" Nu'man said as he thought more. "I think I know now what happened. You were once a normal housewife. You had been married at a young age. You still had no children, but you were planning to have. But one day, you found your husband with a woman of service. He told you that you weren't the woman he wanted. That you barely had the qualities of a woman. You, shocked about your lack feminine qualities, decided to live a life as a man. To never be harmed once again by the likes of him." Nu'man told another tale.
"You know… Have you thought of becoming a novelist?" I asked him. "But no, none of the above are correct. I never even said I was a man in first place." They all started thinking about that. "Now, please for the love of god, I want my clothes back. I'm cold."
"We have more questions." Dougal informed me. I nodded. "What about your followers? How did you get them?"
"There were also these rumors about your manhood." Fatin told me.
"I don't want to remember about them… But, I don't know. I honestly am more confused about this than you guys." I told them. "And about those rumors… Don't you remember about them making me jump like twenty times into the water?"
"I think I'm going to ask it." Mark started pit of the blue. Everyone looked proud at him. I wonder what he'll ask. He was about to do it, but he retracted.
"I'm doing." Mushtaq announced, taking Mark's place. "I ask a question that we all have."
"Go on, Mushtaq. I have no time for this." I told him. He gulped.
"How did you hide them?" Mushtaq asked.
"I never believed the day I would say this… I'm proud of Mushtaq." Amir proudly exclaimed.
"I never thought that there would be a day would come… A day when Mushtaq helped us." Bayhas said happily.
"I don't get it." I told him. All of them gulped. They all looked super nervous.
"You know…" Hugo started. He did some weird hand signals.
"Like…." Halim also tried doing some gestures, but I did not get it.
"It's… them…" Bayhas also tried.
"I think he's too dumb for this." Nigel commented.
"She." James corrected. "But I believe that is true."
"You are being too vague about this." I told them.
"I think this is a bad idea." Aswad told them.
"I agree." Altair supported. "I had nothing to do with this."
"Let's cut the chase." Halim said, suddenly gathering some courage. He then pointed at the chest area. I looked at it. Then at him. Then at everybody else. Then at him again. Then his chest again.
"Is this serious?" I asked all of them. They were too afraid to even nod. I don't know how to take this… "Why do you even ask? Why don't you think it's some sort of chest bind?"
"We found none." Wasim mumbled.
"What do you mean with that?" I asked.
"We sort of…" Faisal started.
"We checked all your stuff! All right! And we found nothing like that!" Shihab said. All of them sighed in relief that they weren't the ones saying that.
"I think I may have figured it out!" Nu'man said out of nowhere. "I found these." He presented one of my bras. "I believe this is what she used."
"Interesting…." Fatin said. "How do you think it works?"
"It looks like it has some sort of mechanic in the back of it so that you can put it on your back." Altair said. "I imagine the other one that was straighter and made of cloth, is to stop movement of...them. "
"This is the limit." I told them madly. "You all better let go of everything you got from me. Put it neatly organized where you found it. Give it all to me. Give me some clothes right about now. And untie me from here now if you want to live another day."
They had at least given me food and my clothes back. We were back on our travelling itinerary. We were some few hours behind schedule. But not that much. I was riding my horse, but I still had my hands tied down. And they still had all of my stuff, but at least they had let go of my underwear.
"So let me get this straight. I get why you all want my stuff and still haven't returned it to me. I get why you still have me tied up and immobile. I really do. What I don't get is why can't I have my hoodie on?" I asked all of them.
"We want to see your face…" Sahl said as nice and innocent as he could. I wouldn't fall for this today.
"I don't care. Why do I am I in my undershirt, anyways?" I asked all of them.
"We want to see your body." Mushtaq mumbled.
"You know, it's surprising that you show so much… Skin…" Dougal commented, trying to take my attention of from what Mushtaq said.
"I have a shirt on. It's okay enough." I told him, not really caring. It wasn't like I was in a bikini or anything. "But, I don't want to get sunburn."
"Was that why you wore that?" Faisal asked. I nodded.
"Even though it was so hot… "I said. It wasn't that bad now but I knew I will be getting a sunburn. I felt it happening. "And can you all please leave my stuff in peace? And stop staring, Halim" Halim ignored what I said.
"You're a hostage now. You have no rights." Nu'man said as he continued touching my phone. He was practically surrounded by everyone, trying to take it for themselves. I didn't care anymore about changing the past. I wanted my phone.
"I think this make it work…" Altair said as he pressed the on button. All of their faces gleamed with happiness. "What does this machine do?"
"Many stuff. I would love to tell you all about it. How about giving me my other shirt back?" I tried to convince them.
"We will figure it out then." Fatin replied. They still barely touched it, but we're thinking about it.
"Just don't do two things. Throw it in the ground or make it touch water." I warned them. I knew this wouldn't be enough. "If you do, all of you will die in the most horrible and painful way. The device has a system that will kill all who touched it." I invented. They wouldn't know better anyways.
"Will you also die?" Bahr asked, tempted about this new possibility.
"I won't. I'm its master. And it obeys only me." I made up. They were not hurting my only commodity I had left.
"How would we die?" Mark asked, interested.
"You would get immediately a terminal illness that would kill you around two days later. After that, you will revive, but you would be dead. You would be living dead." I lied. It wouldn't hurt them anyways. Not like zombies where that scary. All of them gulped. Maybe they were nowadays…
"And you're its master?" Amir asked, concerned. I nodded. "How did you become its master?"
"There is this ritual I had to do. Sacrificing some souls. You know…" I invented. This now sounded like stupid science fiction. "The usual."
"I think she's lying." Shihab said without a doubt. "There is no way she would kill someone. Have you seen her in a fight?"
"That's true…" Nigel thought. "You're lying!"
"I knew this couldn't be true! There was no way they would be giving her so much power!" James said, relieved. I wasn't going to let them do anything to my cellphone.
"I wasn't the one to do the killing." I told them. "It was all the living dead the machine had killed before, risen once again. Doing my bidding for me." Some of them gulped but, it looked like it didn't work.
"What actually happens?" Altair asked. I guessed I got discovered.
"It breaks." I told them. As soon as I said that, I saw Bahr hit Nu'man on the elbow. Making him throw my cellphone. I gasped and stopped my horse. I could see it falling in slow motion. I dived on the floor and saw as my cellphone was slowly turning around.
It fell neatly on my stomach. I looked at it and saw no scratches or dents. "My baby! Oh my god! You survived!" I cheered with happiness, trying to grab my phone, but not being able to touch it with my hands tied down.
"How did she did that?" Wasim asked all of them. No one said anything.
"There was one thing ma mere always told me." Hugo started. "People do strange things for love…"
"How did she even stopped the horse?" Aswad asked them, logically.
"We shall never know…" Altair answered.
"That was so not funny, Bahr!" I screamed at him.
It was dusk and we were a little behind schedule. We decided it was best to set camp and arrive early the next day.
"So I believe if you touch this…" Fatin analyzed as he touched the phone's screen. "It responds."
"You people haven't unlocked it yet?" I asked them. I was in my sleeping bag, looking up, with nothing to do. They had already taken off the roped off my hands. I was in a dilemma, either to go to sleep super early, or do nothing other than watch the sky. I could at least entertain myself.
"Unblock?" Altair, Nu'man and Fatin repeated.
"I'll help you if you tell me where my backpack is." I negotiated. They looked very tempted. They nodded. "First you tell me where it is." They pointed at it silently. I didn't know why they were so silent. I went there and grabbed my pajamas and walked some way away and changed into my pajamas. I went back to the camp and put my clothes back in my bag. I went back to where they were sitting and sat beside them.
"What are you wearing!?" Shihab screamed at me.
"More like, what are you not wearing!?" James criticized.
"I like it…" Halim commented.
"I have no problems with this." Hugo added.
"What is the problem now?" I asked all of them.
"I think he's just slow some days." Dougal stated.
"Every day." Nigel corrected.
"I still don't get it." I told them. What did I do now?
"Look at how…" Faisal started.
"Don't tell her, Faisal!" Bayhas interrupted.
"Why would you even want to tell her?" Halim asked him.
"I think they don't understand us." Mushtaq commented all mature. What happened? I think I did something wrong.
"I like her a lot. She's like my soul mate, isn't she?" Nu'man told Aswad.
"I don't think she agrees." Aswad replied.
"I think we are made for each other the way she creates problems unintentionally, is fantastic." Nu'man said.
"I agree." Bahr supported.
I think I'm totally lost on this conversation.
"We have to tell her!" Sahl shouted.
"We can't let this go on!" Mark screamed.
"Look at what you're…" Wasim started, but he got tackled by multiple people.
"I wouldn't try that for our own well-being." Faisal recommended. Sahl and Mark nodded at his suggestion.
I tried to think what had happened. I came back in my pajamas and put them back. That might mean they have a problem with my pajamas. Why would they? It's only some shorts with a sleeveless shirt…Oh, yeah. That. I was not sleeping in my regular clothes another day, anyways.
"Will you do something about this?" Amir asked me.
"Nah." I shrugged it off. "I don't feel like it. Hand me my phone." I ordered him.
"You're what?" Amir asked.
"My machine." I answered. He passed it to me. "I will show you all something that will blow your minds away." I told them. They all stopped their fighting and bickering and looked at me.
"You will show us how to use that?" Altair asked me with a glitter in his eyes.
"Nope. I will show you only one thing." I told him. I unlocked my phone and put my volume to the highest I could. "Watch this, boys." I pressed the app and opened whatever song I had first. When the music started playing, they literally where mind blown.
"How does this work?" Altair asked me.
"It simply works. I'll show you something else if you hand over my backpack, how about that?" I negotiated.
And so, I regained all my items with the gullible men, wanting to see how my phone worked.
Idiots.
We had finally arrived to Acre. I'm tired of this field trip. I wanted to go the Bureau, and never again do anything in my life. I really wished that were possible…
"What does this do?" Nu'man asked as he turned off and on my flashlight.
Also, even though I got everything back, I still had to deal with these… people. At least yesterday wasn't the sunniest day, because if not, my skin would have been burned to crisp. I already put my Assassin's robe on again. I choose red today.
"Nu'man, for the love of god, do not bother me anymore…" I begged him. He had basically done this… well, more like they have done this all night and morning.
"Do not bother him!" Mushtaq protected me. They also just given up treating me as a woman and decided it was for the best that I continued as a man, even though they still didn't know why I even acted like one in the first place. At least there was that. Not that I was neither happy nor mad about it either. But, I don't think they have forgotten entirely about it either. At least, they hadn't seen me totally naked.
"Thanks the lord!" I screamed as we arrived at the stables of Acre. I got off. "I'm glad I'm here!"
I looked around to see what kind of place Acre was and saw all the burning dead bodies. I also saw that most people outside where very weary and no citizens were around, only Knights Hospitalier and a group of monks.
"I didn't remember here being like this…" I commented. I guess I didn't care enough to remember about the true state about here. But, I did like the weather, if there wasn't that much fires going on around us. "What happened here?"
"Are you ignorant?" James asked me. I shrugged it. I didn't necessarily remember all my history classes, even though I loved it. The Roman Empire sounded nice right about now.
"The Christian Crusaders laid siege here recently." Altair informed me. I nodded. I remember something around those lines.
"Then how should we enter today?" I asked all of them. We were too big of a group to go undiscovered. These guards didn't seem the patient kinds. I bet it wouldn't be good either for the Templars to use their influence to get inside. Altair couldn't kill because he would attract too much attention and there where to few monks to take us all. If the Thieves where the ones to distract, they would be the ones in big problems, more with their secret. This only left me in the equation. "It's my turn this time, isn't it?"
They all nodded. I sighed. I stretched myself a bit. Ok… What could I use to make sure that either I wouldn't get killed or discovered. I guess there's two ways now, either acting as a woman or money. I would rather the money approach, but it they discovered how I got a money, that would be a goodbye for my wallet and unlimited money. Guess I was left to distract them with my womanly charms.
"Do any of you have a dress?" I asked them. They all looked at me as if I was crazy.
"Why would we?" They all countered at the same time.
"Ok… I'm not going to criticize if any of you do. It's fine. Really." I supported them. The only one that could have something like that was Bahr. "Oh… I remember! I forgot I left a dress in my backpack, didn't I, Bahr?" I hinted as I closed one eye occasionally for him to get it.
"I don't remember." Bahr replied. I gave him the look that I would reveal the truth. "I mean… I think so… Let me check." I gave him my backpack and he put in the dress without anyone noticing. "It's here." He said nervously. He handed me the backpack.
"Thank you. Aren't you so kind?" I thanked him sarcastically. People probably already noticed something was going on. Maybe.
"Do not dare say anything." He whispered in my ear.
"I wouldn't dare." I answered him. "I'm off to change, boys! I'll do something if I see one of you peak!" I went into the bush and started to change myself into my clothes. I hope they weren't ugly.
"He's taking his damn time!" Nigel complained.
"Calm down. You know how it is…" Dougal tried to stop Nigel from complaining. It didn't work.
"He thinks he can take as long as he wants?" Shihab joined into the conversation. I heard everything they said anyways. I came out from the bushes and ignored them. I didn't have time for this.
"You look more like a woman now." Bahr commented about my dress. All of them looked at me. They looked at me with eyes of proud father and brothers. It looked like they liked the dress. Opposite from me. I couldn't stand this stupid dress. It was one of the ugliest tones of brown I had ever seen and used in my life. It was lifeless. It was so long it reached until my ankles and on the sleeve side, it reached until my wrist. Also, these sandals Bahr had given me where to uncomfortable.
"I wouldn't recognize you in a million years if I saw you like this in the street." James, sort of complimented me. It didn't make me feel better.
"I hate it." I told them. They looked taken back by the comment.
"It's a great dress. It… assets you nicely." Halim complimented.
"You know. I don't care how it looks. I want to finish with this. Did you come up with a story, Nu'man?" I asked him. He nodded.
"I think you should act innocent and seduce a bit the guards. Then, pass through the gate and if they ask us something, we run." Nu'man told me the plan.
"I think it's horrible." I told him.
"I told you, she wouldn't like it." Aswad said to Nu'man. Nu'man ignored both of us and started acting like a child.
"You should tell them that you are here in the name of Richard the Lionheart and came to deliver a secret message. When they ask who we are, we can tell them we are your bodyguards." Amir came up with another strategy. This was much safer and didn't involve me seducing anyone. I liked it.
"We'll go with that." I told them.
"You're no fun…" Nu'man complained. "I wanted to see how she would seduce the guard."
"Deal with it." Amir told him. Nu'man just made pouting faces.
"I also think we should cover our faces in case something happens." Altair told us. We all nodded. All of them put their hoods on and I grabbed the brown cloak Bahr had also given me, and put it on, also covering my face with the hood. It sure looked like Bahr was quite ready for a situation like this…
We all arrived to the gate and all the guards look at us. But more at me, being the only woman in the group. "We come with a message from Richard the Lionheart." I told the guards in the most somber voice I could. I was starting to feel funny and wanted to laugh, but I had to stop myself from doing it. I wasn't very good at that.
"What is the message?" One of the guards asked me.
"I cannot say. This message is of high importance. It can only be heard by one person only and if the contents of it reach the wrong hands, it may change the war." I told the man. I was just inventing some stupid MMO lines. It sounded good enough to fool someone... Maybe. If only I could contain my urge to laugh. I was biting my tongue now.
"And who are them?" Another knight asked me as he pointed the people from behind me. I could get back at them…
"They are the guardians of the message. They are here to make sure the message arrives sound and safe." I invented more fantasy lines. This sounded like a really bad MMO mission. Not like I had played any good ones, from what I recalled.
"You may pass." The guard said. All of them opened a way for us to pass. I couldn't believe there where some people dumb enough to actually believe my acting. Maybe I had gone better at acting or the public had gotten worse. Probably the latter. We passed silently and when all of us passed the gate I started laughing. Situations like this made me laugh.
"I think he has finally gone crazy." James said.
"I knew the day would come." Nigel added.
"I think she's just happy." Mark tried to reason.
"That doesn't look happy to me." Bayhas reasoned.
"Maybe..." Sahl started.
"Shut up, Sahl." Wasim and Faisal ordered Sahl. He obeyed. I regained my composure.
"Wait a second… Why did I even put on a dress?" I asked all of them no one answered.
Damn it… I should have known. They all wanted me to wear this monstrosity for my whole life. I wouldn't obey.
"I'm going to change." I told them. I didn't wait for them to answer me and went to look for somewhere to change.
I changed back and it was time for us to part, momentarily. Maybe.
"You will always be my best friend that Halim will never take." Mushtaq said as he hugged my leg. I shook my leg and made him get off.
"I hope we never meet again." Nigel said. I nodded.
"Nigel…" Dougal scolded.
"We will probably see each other again one day." Amir told me. "We travel all around, so as long as we're fated to meet you, we will." Fatin applauded at what Amir had said.
"Don't forget about the competition." Mark reminded me in a whisper. I nodded.
"Do not say anything." Bahr threatened me. His scary aura had finally returned and it scared me a little bit. Very little.
"You have to be like this…" Bayhas complained.
"I hope our souls are united and we shall meet again to never be separated again." Nu'man said goodbye in his own way. I didn't get it.
"Don't forget about us…" Sahl cried a bit with Wasim and Faisal. Ugh… This was getting awkward. I think it's about time to leave…
"If you never need something, do not forget to tell me." Halim insinuated.
"And me." Hugo added.
"Goodbye for now." Aswad said simply.
"Yeah… Bye." I turned around and didn't look back. I still felt I would meet them someday again.
"You're not sad?" Altair asked me as we walked towards the Bureau.
"Hmm…." I said as I thought about it. "I don't miss them that much now. I still can hear Mushtaq's screams and cries."
"Alex!" I heard Mushtaq shout as he cried from far away.
"You're right…" Altair acknowledged.
We entered the Assassin's Bureau. I did once again the mini leap of faith and the sound effect. Altair had landed in silence once again. I got up and looked at the Bureau a bit. This one was a little more… somber than the one in Jerusalem. Altair and I entered the room.
"Greeting Altair. What news?" The Rafiq asked as he continued to write. It looked like he hadn't seen me. Maybe I wasn't that bad of an assassin as I thought…
"Al Mualim had named another. Calls himself Sibrand." Altair told him.
"I am familiar with the man." The Rafiq said as he started pacing around. "Newly appointed leader of the Knights Teutonic. He resides in the Venetian quarter and runs Acre's port." The old man said. He pronounced that Acre weird. Ad he turned around he noticed me.
"I'll start my work at once." Altair told the Rafiq.
"Is he the one that Al Mualim speaks?" The Rafiq asked. Altair nodded. "Very well." The Rafiq may have glared at me a bit. Maybe it was just my imagination. "Here are the places you should focus your search." He started signaling with his map. "On the docks east of here, among the ships and their crews. At the chapel to the northeast, near the cross overlooking the port. And to the north, in front of St. John's gate." He continued pacing around.
I had no intention to write the places this time with this old man who had glared at me. I didn't really liked glares. Or old men who glared.
"This is most helpful. My thanks for the guidance." Altair thanked.
"Altair?" The Rafiq asked.
"Yes, Rafiq?" Altair asked back.
"I owe you an apology." The Rafiq told him.
"The first time that has happened…" I mumbled in a low tone.
"For what?" Altair asked again.
"For doubting your dedication to our cause." The Rafiq explained himself.
"No. It was I who erred." Altair apologized also. "I believed myself above the creed. You owe me nothing."
"Isn't that nice…" I mumbled sarcastically. I was getting quite confused about this relationship status between them. I didn't remember many things about the game, even though I had recently replayed it.
"As you wish, my friend. Go in safety, but before that..." The Rafiq told him. He made a signal for Altair to get closer. "I cannot say the same for your friend. I do not know why Al Mualim decided something like this. He always does things for his reasons. But, I do not like it one bit." He whispered softly. I listened to everything he had said. My hearing was getting better. Altair just nodded.
"Do not worry. I will make sure no problem will happen with him." Altair defended for me.
"Aww…" I said. They both looked at me weirdly. "I think we forgot to present ourselves, or we decided we weren't going to do that at all. Hi, I'm Alex." I said as I still used the male version of my name. It looked like it was better. I extended my hand for him to shake.
"Hello…" The Rafiq said awkwardly as he looked at my hand. I put it back besides me. "I'm Jabal. I think it's time for you both to leave." Jabal kicked us out. I followed Altair to the open room.
"I believe it's better for us to divide our work like last time." Altair told me. He climbed the wall I no time. Guess it was my time to wall climb.
"Never in a million years!" I told him as I started climb the wall. I did it slowly. And by slowly, like a minute a move. I didn't want to fall down and start over.
"Then what are you going to do, then?" Altair asked me as he sat down, waiting for me. I thought about it. I didn't want more fans. I absolutely didn't. Maybe, it was better for me to go to the Templar annual contest of whatever it is.
"I'll go spy on Templars in the heart of their base." I told him. I finished climbing the wall and sat down for a second.
"As you wish." Altair said as he got up and started walking.
"Hey, Altair." I told him before he left. He stopped and turned around.
"What?" He asked me.
"Where is the nearest… bathroom?" I asked him somewhat awkwardly, because it looked like he wanted to start the missions already. He pointed at the Bureau we had just come out from. I sighed and threw myself in the pillows and guessed this was going to be the start of my quest for not getting more fan girls.
A/N: And there goes the big reveal! There may still be one more occasion that we'll see them. Maybe.
I also already finished AC:4, which was great. I loved it. Awesome game.
And... It only took me less than a week for this chapter! Yay! I wanted to finish it fast because I took so long last time.
Anyways, I thank everyone who has read/followed/favorited/reviewed the story. I thank you so much! It's always welcomed.
