Okay, here it is, just a couple of minutes before the deadline, as usual. I am trying to make a disciplined effort to get onto top of my work but...internet...Tumblr...games...phone...music...piano...food...sleep...so many things much better than doing homework. I'm trying but I think I'm fighting a losing battle.

Felix's POV

We walked back to our cabins in one big bundle, except from Nico who I hadn't seen. Then again, no one really saw him anyway. Annabeth was practically seething, so I couldn't blame him. With an invisibility cap, there a lots of nasty ways she could get revenge.

I weaved my way through to Jade, who was hanging around some of the Hermes girls. They laughed and joked together like typical Hermes children, and I had just decided to turn away and go back to my cabin because I would feel intruding, when she noticed me. She broke away from he group and came to congratulate me.

"Hey, Felix!"

"Huh? Oh hi!" I suddenly felt a little hot, despite my damp clothes.

"Well done on the victory! I heard your brother barely got our flag in time though - good thing he managed to get past Annabeth, huh?"

"Not for you," I smiled.

"True. But I didn't think we were going to win anyway. You had had time to get organised and stuff, some of our campers had just got back!"

"Now your just making excuses! That was a good idea with the water, though. "

"She grinned. "Did you get hit? You look like you have!"

"Nah, that was just your brother being a bad loser."

She laughed. "I've heard a lot of things about my brother. He is the savoir of us all, but he's also a dopey idiot and has a strange liking for blue food. I guess I've still got a lot to learn about him."

I realised we had been walking towards her cabin, and we stopped in front of it.

"Well, see you tomorrow."she said, and pushed open the door.

"Bye,"I replied, and headed back towards the pitch black Hades cabin that was pretty much invisible in the darkness, except for the torches.

"Walking her to her cabin? That was cute!"said a voice recognised.

"Piper! Are you stalking me?" I asked, annoyed and a little embarrassed.

"What? No, I was simply seeing if you're any good at flirting. I'd give you 7/10. You should've asked to walk her down the beach or something tomorrow. Or offer some archery practice."

What? Go away Piper! I wasn't - I was just talking! Can I not do that anymore?I do not like her that way!"

"Oh please, Felix. I am a daughter of the goddess of love. I know love when I see it! But don't worry, you're cute together."

I shook my head. "Don't go spreading rumors, okay? Please! Just...let me figure things out."

"Fine, fine. My lips are sealed. G'night." She walked back to her cabin, still smiling triumphantly.

I sighed and sat heavily on my bed, and then got ready and realised how tired I was. I fell asleep almost instantly.

Jade's POV

When I woke up the next morning Percy wasn't in his bed. It was unusual for him not to be snuggled under his covers snoring quietly at this hour, but I couldn't think what had been important enough for him to have dragged himself out of bed. I shrugged off the thought, got ready, and then went to get some pancakes, which I found myself becoming quickly addicted to.

The mess hall was quiet and empty, except for a few early risers milling about. I ate my pancakes and then decided to walk along the beach again, and perhaps practice my power over water.

There was a strong wind on the beach today and high waves broke across the sand. A few surfers rode the waves, and they reminded me of my old life, when I had gone to a surfing school. I had gone pretty far and was a skilled surfer, but didn't have a board. I hadn't exactly got a chance to pack my stuff before I got to camp, I thought to myself. But that didn't matter anymore. Maybe I could get a board from somewhere. Were we allowed to go out to regular shops? I'd have to ask Percy. I didn't really have much planned for today, just some archery lessons with Chiron later on, so I decided to go and look for my brother.

I ran into one of the Hermes girls I recognised from last night as I passed through the mess hall - or she ran into me.

"Have you seen Lucus anywhere? I can't find him. And people are saying someone has disappeared!"

"Wait, someone's gone?"

"Yes, apparently! Well, not apparently, because Lucus has disappeared! He's a bit shorter than me, blond hair with freckles. Have you seen him?"

"Sorry, I barely know anyone here at the moment!" I said, shaking my head. Just then, the conch shell was blown and Chiron came galloping in, followed by at least a dozen other campers that I recognised.

"What's going on?" I asked him.

"I'll tell you when everyone gets here. I hope they wake up quickly." He sounded grim.

The Mess Hall quickly filled with sleepy campers, all a bit grumpy from having to be dragged out of bed so early in the morning. The Aphrodite children made the biggest fuss. They we last arriving, insisting they had to at least take a shower, put on make-up, do their hair and pick what to wear, which took about half an hour longer than it did for everyone else.

That is, except Piper of course, who was happy walking out with bed hair and her onesie.

"Campers!" bellowed Chiron, as the last few Aphrodite girls made their way to the crowd. "We have a problem. One of our campers has gone missing. It is very unlikely that he has left the grounds because Mr D hasn't detected anyone leaving."

"But," proceeded Mr D, "if anyone knows where he is, I'll need at least another few hours to decide on the most humiliating punishment when he shows up. I'm still deciding between-"

"Alright, Dionysus, they don't need to know. The boy disappeared was Lucas Folley, a son of Hermes. He's about 5' 6" (five feet six inches), blond hair and freckles. He was last seen near the blue base in capture the flag, last night. When it was noticed he didn't come back Fiona reported it to me, at about six in the morning. Mr D has already searched the woods, and the rest of the camp, but I'd like you all to make sure he's not hiding anywhere else, like in the cabins for instance."

"A lot of effort, searching those woods," grumbled Dionysus. "When I find him-"

"So," continued Chiron, "morning activities will be cancelled for now, and we will need several search parties to look in places that he could have gone to."

"Have you contacted the Olympians?" An Athenian girl asked.

"Yes, and they don't have a clue as to what could have happened. Hermes is required to continue his messenger duties, as he is quite busy, but is going to be looking for him when he can. For now, we need at least 2 dozen campers to form search parties of six. Go well equipped, as you could encounter anything. Sort yourselves out and come to the Big House in about an hour, at ten. I would also like Percy, Annabeth, Nico, Clarisse, Zoe and Malcom to meet me in the Big House at half ten, armed. We're going to look round the woods more carefully to see if we can find anything, and I don't know how far we're going to have to go. The rest, get ready as quick a you can and search the rest of the camp thoroughly. Afternoon activities will proceed as usual."

About a quarter of the camp volunteered to help search for him, and rushed around to get ready. The six that were going with Chiron did likewise.

"Well, make yourself useful while you're away, okay?" said Percy as he left with Annabeth to the Big House. I nodded and had a quick shower before going over to one of the groups who were planning to search the south-west of the camp. There was lots of nervous chatter and I saw a bleary eyed Felix with his cute bed hair and usual dark clothes.

"Don't you ever wear something, I don't know, a little more cheerful?" I asked.

"I...Uh...thought it suited the mood of this morning," he replied, smiling.

"Typical Hades kids, no style huh?" laughed Piper as she appeared next to Jade.

"Hey, you turned up in your onesie! At least I got dressed!"

"Yeah, but at least I dress well when I do!"

"OI!" yelled an Ares kid over all the talking. "Let's get this over with so I can go back to beating up - I mean sparring with that kid!" We spread out in a rough line and begun heading towards the arena and strawberry fields.

(In case anyone was wondering)

Zoe: Head Counselor of Hecate cabin

Malcom: Son of Athena

I know it's not much of a chapter, so I'll update again by Wednesday. If anyone wants any particular fights or people included, just mention it in the review and I'll see what I can do. Damn, 14 minutes late! Oh well.

UPDATE: Instead of doing a new chapter I felt like updating this instead, so here ya go. For the next chapter, do people want me to do part of it in Nico, Annabeth or Percy's PoV? I will be updating at least once more in December, if not more :)

Please review with any comments, even just a smiley face, your long list of hate or your preferred fight scene & preferred PoV!
