Goodness finally! This is NOT beta-ed because I am uploading this in a hurry. My laptop's broken and I'm now using my bro's computer. I don't know when I'll be able to update again, because I don't have anything to write on.

Chapter 12
The candy rolling on the floor was the only sound that could be heard in the suddenly isolated isle.
Ethan blinked and looked up at Sasuke innocently, wondering what he said wrong. Sasuke shook his head and folded his arms waiting for Ethan to answer.
Sakura took a deep breath and crouched down to get the candy. She frantically looked around. 'Where the hell did all the people go?' she thought, cursing her luck for yet another misfortune.
"Ethan…" Sasuke said in a scary father-like tone and Ethan's lips trembled.
Sakura's eyes widened at Ethan's instant reaction. She stayed crouched on the floor, clutching the candies close to her chest. The current scenario she was in is just like the drama series she craved for—the suspense is killing her, and whatever the actor will say next may break her heart. She gulped and tightened her hold on the candies.
"Don't you believe in dinosaurs, daddy?" Ethan cried.
Sakura found herself breathing again. The boy's good. He even managed to put up real tears.
"Oh no..." Sasuke said in a softer tone, "I do believe in them, it just that, umm, dinosaurs are uhh…" he glanced to Sakura, "can you help me out here—" he stopped and frowned when he saw her squatting on the floor, hugging a scrunched up box. "What happened?"
"I… uhh…" Sakura took a deep breath. She wanted to cry too. "I think I'm gonna go…"
Ethan cried louder.
"Ethan, stop," Sasuke said, "please."
Ethan wailed at the top of his lungs, drawing in curious looks from other customers.
"What's wrong with the child?" An old woman asked.
"Everything's fin—" Sasuke was about to say, but Ethan cut him off screaming, "Mommy and daddy are having a fight! And they are mad at me!" then he went back to crying.
"What?" Sasuke and Sakura asked in unison.
The old woman looked at them in disbelief, confusion and disappointment painted on her eyes, "You fight in front of your child?"
Sakura stood and took a deep breath, "I…"
"It's a matter between me and my wife; clearly it's none of your business." Sasuke snapped at the old woman, which only gasped in reply.
Sakura grew mad. She harshly dropped the candy on her cart and faced Sasuke, "Why would you say something like that to her? Have you no respect for people older than you?"
"No, so shut up." He spat.
Sakura gasped, "And to think we're only arguing about whether to buy Ethan some junk food or not."
"Stop spoiling the kid." he said, glaring at her.
Sakura stepped closer to him, "He is my son, and I can spoil him if I want."
Sasuke's gaze hardened, "He's my son too and I'm just doing what's best for him."
"And I'm not doing what's best for him? Is that what you're trying to point out?" Sakura yelled.
"What I'm trying to say is you should learn to say no to him once in a while." Sasuke retorted.
More and more customers looked their way as their voices grew louder and louder.
"Are you telling me that I tolerate Ethan way too much?"
"Now we're talking!"
Sakura placed her hands on her hips, "I am only doing that because of the things we are lacking to give him in some aspect."
Sasuke ran a hand down his face, "Look, Sakura, the problem with you is that—"
"Excuse me, Sir, Ma'am?" The general manager approached them, grinning almost nervously, "Can you please take this argument somewhere else? Preferably not in front of you child, and our valued customers?"
Sakura blinked and everything started to dawn on her. She had been on a roll for no apparent reason. Large sweat boiled from her skin and she looked around seeing most people's eyes on them.
"I'm very sorry." she quickly said, before making her way to the exit.
"Sakura." she heard Sasuke call, but she only walked faster with her face as red as a tomato and her heart beating erratically.
Ethan ran up to her, hugging her leg.
"Ethan, let go of me. Can you see I'm already marinating in shame?" she hissed.
Ethan looked up at her with mischievous eyes. "I missed you a lot, Aunty Doc."
"So?" Sakura felt like rolling her eyes, but the customers' eyes are still on her, and worse, Sasuke is slowly making his way to them after he calmly talked things over with the management.
"Spend more time with me and daddy, Aunty Doc. We're very lonely." Ethan looked at her with puffy puppy dog eyes.
"Kid," Sakura gritted her teeth, "you aint fooling me."
Ethan huffed and crossed his arms, "Fine. I'll just tell daddy everything."
"What?"
"Everything, Aunty Doc. Everything."
She felt her chest tighten; almost forgetting that Ethan is a small boy. 'This tricky kid could use a beating. Isn't he too young to know about blackmail?!'
Ethan smiled innocently at her, lifting up his arms. Sakura picked him up glaring hard at him. "You little devil."
"Sakura." Sasuke said as he walked closer to them.
"Aren't I a good actress?" she cheerfully pointed out, an obvious fake smile on her face as she cradled Ethan on her hip.
Sasuke ignored her and took Ethan from her arms. "I want to be with Aunty Doc." Ethan whined.
"Not now." Sasuke replied coldly, making Ethan flinch. He proceeded to walk out of the store with Ethan looking over his shoulder sadly.
Sakura sighed and swallowed an angry yell. 'Please heavens! Don't let me cross paths with that bastard again.'

Might Guy clapped his hands together, drawing their attention, "Okay, let's do a little activity." he said, almost jumping with excitement. "Answer me. What's the best thing you want to hear other than 'I love you'?" He grinned, revealing sparkly white teeth. "Hinata?"
"Umm… Be wild, it's okay." Hinata replied shyly with a tiny smile on her lips.
Guy nodded.
"Tenten?"
"I paid your credit card bill." Tenten answered.
Guy raised a brow.
"Ino?"
"90% sale."
Guy sighed and looked at the last person.
"And Sakura?"
"Patient's stable." She said with a relaxed expression.
"I was hoping your answers would be a little inclined to romance, I forgot you're all stone-hearted." He dragged a hand down his face and took a deep breath, "None of you really know the essence of being in love in the first place."
"Isn't that why we're here?" Sakura countered. "And really, I'd rather have that over 'I love you' anytime. It means I did my job well."
"Lee, I need your help." Guy said. Lee nodded and gave him a salute.7
"Now ladies, each of you will go on a date with Lee for one whole day. Lee will give me a feedback on your actions. Ino, you will be the first to go out with him. Maintain eye-contact, hold hands at all times, and always wear a smile—pretend to be the happiest girl in the world." Guy instructed ignoring the ladies' disagreements. "You will thank me later."
~O~
"Quit looking at me like that." Ino threatened, gripping Lee's hand tightly, "You are scaring me with those big eyes. Pretend I'm your loving sister!"
Lee winced, "But Coach Guy said you ladies need to learn more about romance and stuff."
"I know enough about romance!" Ino spat, dragging Lee.
Ino had to admit that Lee is indeed a gentleman. He showed up at the address she gave him, not too early and not too late. He complimented her outfit and gave her a bouquet of roses—charming indeed. Lee let her choose their activity for their so called date and Ino dragged him to the mall.
"You're single." Lee answered innocently, "You can't even get a barista to take you seriously."
"Shut up!" Ino raised her voice a notch earning glances from people around them.
"I'm sorry." Lee replied.
Ino sighed. She led Lee into a decent looking restaurant. He opened the door for her and also pulled out the chair for her when they found an empty table. Ino gave a small smile and made her self comfortable.
"You know my type of guy right?"
Lee nodded, "Someone who earns a six figure salary and spoils you with love and labels."
Somehow it sounded selfish and ugly to Ino, but yes, it was what she wanted.
"Exactly." She agreed with Lee honestly ignoring the heavy feeling in her chest.
"But, Shikamaru is nowhere near that. I'm sure he earns enough, but clearly not that much. He doesn't want anything from me, and he pushes me away. He's so unpredictable and he's always not interested. I've never felt so insulted before. I mean, I should've walked away from the start, but I kept running back. He dominates me somehow and… and I like it. I feel like I'm being tamed." Ino shook her head, "Lee, I'm trapped. And all I want right now is not Shikamaru, but a way out of this mess that I carelessly started without him realizing a single thing." She clasped Lee's hand. "Help me."
"You want me to pretend to be your rich boyfriend?" Lee asked, bug-eyed.
"God, no!" Ino yelled, looking at him in disbelief, "I just want you to tell me a sane thing to do before I start collecting heartaches!"
"But I don't know."
"Did you even listen to watch I just told you?"
Lee nodded, "I am a very keen listener."
Ino rolled her eyes.
"I can observe him for you." Lee suggested, "I can befriend him and know his likes and dislikes, type of women and other important info about him."
"Great," Ino grinned, "Great! Do that."
"We'll discuss the payment later on." Lee smiled, calling a waiter's attention.
Ino frowned and grabbed his arm, "Payment?"
"Well, I'm not gonna do it for free. It's a tough job, he might mistaken me for someone who's interested in him in a homo way."
Ino chuckled, "It is a tough job." She placed a finger on her chin as she thought for alternatives, "Are you a fan of Blaze?"
Lee gasped and placed a hand over his mouth, "Yes!"
Ino squealed, "I got five tickets! Front row. VIP." She winked when Lee's jaw dropped, "You can come with us during the concert. Is that good enough?"
"Hell, yes." Lee replied instantly and they high-fived, laughing at what seems to be a brilliant plan.

Tenten looked at her wrist watch and knocked at Hinata's room again. "Hinata? How long are you going to stay in bed? Open up already."
Tenten's weekends are precious. Hinata told her she feels uncomfortable going alone on a date with Lee and begged to have Tenten come along. She didn't know why she agreed with Hinata's stupid plan. How does two women supposed to go on a date with one man?
"Hinata, come on!" she pounded on her door. The door opposite to Hinata's room opened and Tenten shifted her eyes uncaringly to that direction.
Neji came out with sexy bed hair, wearing only a pair of loose pajamas, looking half asleep.
"Hello, sexy." Tenten drawled, shamelessly running her eyes up and down his body. "Good morning, good morning."
His eyes widened and he stepped back a bit, "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I never knew this house has such lovely view in it." Tenten said, ignoring his question.
Neji glared at her, "There goes my day. Ruined."
"Your abs looks so yummy…"
"Shut up!" Neji spat, "I don't need to hear your thoughts."
"I think about you in the shower." Tenten continued, breathless.
Neji closed his eyes and gripped the bridge of his nose. "Disgusting…" he muttered under his breath, his jaw tensed and he shook his head walking passed her to the kitchen.
~O~
Tenten beamed at the man driving the car. "Oh happy day!" she said in a sing song voice.
The man only grunted.
"I'm r-really sorry, Neji. B-but you p-promised father yesterday that you will come… with me today." Hinata said apologetically. "And… and I don't have a c-car…"
Hinata was seated at the back seat with Lee.
"Well, isn't this better? The more the merrier they say." Lee chimed, smiling at Neji through the rearview mirror.
"Fuck off." Neji replied, glaring back at him.
Tenten rolled her eyes and playfully leaned her head on his shoulder, "That asshole attitude of yours is such a turn on. I don't see that trait in most men these days. Not all have the balls."
Neji struck his elbow at her, "I'm driving."
"Duh, whatever you fucktard." Tenten snapped, looking out of the window.
"Well…" Lee started awkwardly, "this is… fun…"
Hinata looked at him with a sorry expression. "It will get b-better."
"I hope so." Neji butted.
They parked near an abandoned 5-story-building.
"What are we doing here, Tenten?" Lee asked.
Tenten smirked at them, "This is the activity that I chose for our date today, Lee." Her smirk widened, "Airsoft."
Lee gaped and Hinata blinked nervously.
Tenten sighed, "You said, we get to do whatever I want. Well this is my perfect definition of romance!" she paused, "…Aside from porn." She grinned and went on, "The great thing about this one is that we don't get to bring our own equipment. We'll just head for the tent houses, pay and rent the equipment needed. We got a couple of minutes before the game starts and we get to pick our team. I've been playing for a while and I knew these people already."
Tenten looked at the uncertainty and slight terror on Hinata's face, "You can just stay outside, Hinata. You don't have to play."
Hinata smiled in return, "Thank you."
"What about me?" Lee asked.
"Of course you'll play. How are we supposed to have fun? We're sharing you, remember? So before we head out to whatever Hinata have in mind for her part, at least make me happy!"
Lee sighed, "I'm sorry. And you're right. Let's go!" he said, jogging to the direction of one of the tent houses.
"Alright!" Tenten turned her attention to Neji, "You can stay here with Hinata, baby boy."
He scoffed, "I'm not scared of a little firing game." he placed his hands in his pockets and followed Lee, making Tenten smile devilishly.
"Have fun." Hinata said.
"I sure will." Tenten replied.
~O~
Tenten and her team gathered together in an empty room.
"Tenten, I know you don't miss, so go wild out there." said the team leader.
"She's a badass!" one of her teammates commented patting her shoulder. She smiled shyly and waved off his comment. They were giving her too much credit.
"Actually," she spoke, earning the attention of the whole team, "my arch nemesis is out there. If you see an idiot who doesn't know what he's doing, I encourage you to fire right at him until he falls to the ground in surrender. That newbie asshole Neji deserves such treatment."
"Okay."
"Sure."
"No prob."
Her team chimed, giving her a 'thumbs up'.
She placed her balaclava around her face, securing her goggles, sealing the area around her eyes.
~O~
Tenten hid behind a wall shooting a player right in the head, the plastic bullet hitting his helmet. 'Three down!' she mentally noted.
Just as she was about to run from her hiding spot and search around for other players, she heard a loud girly scream followed by series of repeated shots. She shifted her eyes to the origin of the scream and saw someone familiar.
"What are you guys doing?" she yelled over her team.
"You said fire at some idiot who doesn't know what he's doing." one of her teammates replied.
Tenten face palmed, "Not that idiot! Lee stop screaming!"
"I'm not an idiot, baby girl." A suave overconfident voice came from behind her. Neji didn't even wait for her to turn around and fired at her. "You're out."
Tenten dropped her pellet, glaring hard at Neji through her goggles.
~O~
"My body hurts." Lee whined, slumping on the back seat.
"Shut up, Lee!" Tenten spat. She had her arms crossed, her furrowed brows never eased down and she sent death glares at Neji's direction from time to time.
Neji only chuckled, "You thought that was my first time, hm?"
Tenten tilted her head, "Die."
Neji smirked, "That bitchy attitude of yours is such a turn on. I don't see that trait in most women these days. Not all have the balls."
Tenten growled, narrowing her eyes at Neji.
"U-umm… p-please. Let's all just e-enjoy the day…" Hinata suggested, looking from Tenten to Neji. They just ignored her. Lee smiled at her, patting her shoulder gently.
~O~
They arrived at a tea time restaurant. Everything about the place, from the table napkins to the curtains, is expensive. Tenten gaped, "I can't afford this."
"But it's fun, Tenten." Hinata softly spoke with a pleasant smile on her face.
They went in and sat at one of the tables. They were attended by a waiter immediately and Hinata and Neji recited their orders with ease and elegance. Tenten looked at the menu and felt like she's back in math class at the sight of it—everything was written in French. The waiter turned to Tenten, "And you ma'am?"
Tenten took a deep breath, the girls seated beside their table chuckled a little, giving her a once over. She raised an eyebrow at them, lifted her chin up and skillfully said, "water" at the waiter.
Neji bit his lip as he struggled not to laugh at her. Tenten looked at him and raised her eyebrow higher, "Do not even think about getting on my bad side, baby boy. You already killed me today."
"Wasn't gonna, baby girl." He smirked.
Tenten sent him a nasty stare, "Unbelievable!"
"Two can play this game." Neji winked.
"Th-they will be… be g-getting the same as m-mine, please." Hinata said to the waiter, pointing at Tenten and then to Lee, who also decided on getting water as well.
The waiter bowed and left their table.
~O~
Tenten watched as Hinata and Lee conversed in a relaxed manner about etiquette, teas, recipes and random matters that Hinata found agreeable to discuss. She stole a quick glance at Neji's direction, silently observing him as he checked his phone. Almost all the women in the room sent him a look of interest. She laughed inwardly, 'Who doesn't adore Neji?' The man is practically a god with his physical features and the way he moves. She looked away and wondered who Neji could be texting. She can't help but wonder if he has a girlfriend too. Men like him would never go for women like her. That's the just the rule. She liked how he teases her back, but she also hated how she suddenly hoped for more.
'No, no, no, no!' she mentally scolded herself. How dare she act like a hopeless lady waiting for a miracle? 'No!' she needed to think of something laughable in order to divert her thoughts. 'Imagine him naked. Imagine him naked. Imagine him naked. Imagine him naked.' she chanted. She kept on chanting, but somehow the feeling won't seem to go away and the mantra isn't working. "Imagine him naked!" she yelled, raising a fist in the air. She blinked and saw Lee and Hinata staring at her in pure shock. Everyone stopped with their own conversations and looked her way, whispering.
She looked around, taking in the humiliation, "What?" she snapped, "Don't finishing schools teach you to be vocal about your imaginations?" She stood from her seat and grabbed her back pack, "Blessed bitches." she muttered under her breath. She stopped her tracks and looked at Neji, "You haven't returned my thong yet, baby boy."
"It's your fault for leaving it in my car, baby girl." He clicked his tongue, another smirk tugging on his lips, "How careless of you."
Tenten grinned, "Awe, but I didn't expect you'd cuddle with it." Neji glared at her.
She flashed him her middle finger before exiting the restaurant.
~O~
Hinata got out of her shower and changed into some comfortable sleeping attire. She arranged her pillows and settled on her bed. It was a long day and she deserves and early rest. She was about to turn her lamp shade off when her phone rang. She stared at the unknown number for a moment before answering it. "H-hello?" she asked.
"Hinata." A familiar voice answered from the other line. "It's me, Naruto."
A slow blush crept on her face, "Hi." she mumbled.
"Hi." he laughed. She imagined him smiling from ear to ear. "I hope you don't mind me calling."
"No! It.. it is fine." She smiled when she heard him laugh childishly again. "Why d-did you c-call?"
There was silence for some time before Naruto replied, "I just wanna hear your voice. It's a tough day at work and your voice just calms me. It's so soft and gentle, like a lullaby."
Hinata turned beat red. She hung up and covered her face with a pillow. 'This i-i-i-is so wrong! I… I… I am m-misunderstanding an inno…innocent intention. H-he just wa-wa-wants to talk to a… a friend. He is g-gay! He likes men! And I don't have a b-b-b-b-birdy…" Her eyes widened in shock on her last thought and she buried her face deeper on her pillow.
She gasped and removed the pillow from her face after a few seconds. Her phone rang again and again, but she just stared at it. She doesn't know how to answer it anymore, and her face still felt hot. She sighed and listened to her ringtone. The world suddenly became a huge pinwheel. Her eyes went heavy and soon enough she fell asleep with Naruto's words playing repeatedly on her head.
