Here is the next chapter! I made it a little longer on purpose to make up for the beginning half of the chapter, which explains why it took longer to update. You know, this is basically a filler chapter, but some things in this chapter will be needed for future chapters. I hope you still enjoy it. Please review!

Despite the danger and pain that Nico went through, Lord Jupiter refused to do anything about the impending threat. When his Greek brother, Poseidon, informed him of what happened, Jupiter immediately asked about the Flame. He showed no concern for his niece or nephews that were attacked. He was more worried about his precious Flame than anyone else. That actually caused another argument pinning a majority of the gods against the king of Olympus. The only two immortals on Jupiter's side were Vesta (she knew the dangers of if the Flame were in danger) and Juno (merely because she feared her husband's wrath).

However, Percy had more on his mind than the usual arguing among the gods. At first it was the fact that his mother was due a couple days after her visit, but then he had patrol duty around the camp perimeter to worry about. Although the great Jupiter doesn't want to do anything, the Greek campers took it upon themselves to keep their home safe.

Percy had helped Annabeth and her siblings create the time sheets for who does patrol when and who actually does it. They initially agreed that campers twelve or younger would not be allowed unless their siblings could vouch for them (in other words, they didn't want eight-year-old Harley potentially getting hurt). The children of the Big Three would go on patrol with another cabin; meaning Percy would go with the Athena cabin, Nico and Hazel with Apollo's, and finally Thalia and Jason with Aprhodite's (only because Piper was the only one willing out of her siblings to do patrol). Luckily, some of the Romans volunteered for the patrol and they were stuck in the Aphrodite's time slot.

That wasn't all that was on the son of the sea god's mine. Chris Rodriguez came to Percy about a certain issue concerning his fiance, Clarisse la Rue. Chris had tried solving the situation by himself, but he couldn't even make a dent. He thought Percy might convince Clarisse to stop whatever she was doing.

Once Percy heard what the daughter of Ares was doing, he searched the whole camp to find her and demanded to know what the hell she was thinking. Then this argument happened:

"I got tired of the name calling!" Clarisse shouted back at Percy. They were currently at Thalia's tree because Clarisse was on patrol and it was the only place they can talk in private. "I didn't want to hear it anymore, so I did something about it."

"Starving yourself is not something you should do to fix it!" Percy practically screamed at her. "And you definitely should not be trying to make yourself sick either!"

Quick summary of the situation: After Clarisse and Chris got engaged, some of the Aphrodite girls and a few other campers were making fun of Clarisse more than usual. They were being rude about mainly her weight. Clarisse wouldn't say any names, but one of them had said Chris would leave her within a month of the marriage because of how big she was. They said she'd end up pregnant and not know about it until her water broke because of how 'fat' she was. She let the insults get to her and thought not eating (and forcing herself to get sick after each meal) would help end it.

"Why didn't you try a diet?" Percy wondered angrily. "It's a more safer option than the shit you're doing now."

"I've been trying them for years now." Clarisse argued. "In that time I lost only fifteen pounds. In the past two weeks I've lost more than five times that amount and I'm still being called names."

"How much were you when you started?"

Clarisse thought about it for a moment before stating, "Two-twenty (220), give or take a few."

"How much do you weigh now?" He demanded.

She rolled her eyes as she teased, "Didn't your mother tell you to never ask a lady her weight?" After seeing his piercing glare, she muttered, "Little less than a hundred."

Percy glared at her even harder as they could feel the ground shaking slightly.

Since the first day that the Olympians had come to camp for the visit, Percy has been having a little trouble with his temper. Actually, all five children of the Big Three were having anger problems. The campers all had a way to tell when they were pissed. Lightning would form around Thalia's hand, Hazel's eyes would glow a bright gold color, a black glow would appear around Nico's hand, Jason would make the wind grow stronger without him realizing it, and Percy would make the ground shake.

One day Percy and Jason got into a screaming match with each other. Annabeth and Piper intervened to stop the fight and asked what they were arguing about. For the life of them, they couldn't remember a single reason why the argument started or what it was even about. It scared all the campers because they almost caused a earthquake and tornado over something they didn't remember. Somehow, they acted like best buds again after a few seconds.

Percy repeated firmly, "How much do you weigh?"

The daughter of Ares sighed, "Ninety-three pounds."

The color drained from Percy's face and the ground stopped moving for a moment. "Clarisse," he began in a voice that was so kind, so sincere, and so gentle that she had to wonder if she was really talking to the same person. "That isn't healthy for you. Someone your age shouldn't be that low. I could see one-twenty (120) being fine, but not ninety-three."

"Well, I still got teased when I was around that." Clarisse insisted with a shrug. "I learned that the less I weigh, the less I'm teased. I prefer not being bullied about my weight than constantly reminded that I'm not going to look skinny."

Percy was silent for the first time since the argument as a bad thought came to his mind. After a few seconds, he voiced his thought, "What if you're pregnant?"

Clarisse paled almost the same amount as he did, maybe more. She tried to say, "I'm not-"

"But what if you are?" He wondered curiously, but seriously. "It's not safe for you or the baby for you to lose so much weight in so little time."

The daughter of the war god only stared at the son of the sea, but he couldn't help noticing the fear in her eyes. A whistle was heard through out the camp, a sign that it was time to switch duty.

"Nice try, Percy," she complimented sarcastically as she started backing up toward the camp. "But if Chris can't get me to stop, you can't either."

Clarisse turned around and starting walking to the camp, leaving behind a worried Percy. Then, an idea came to his mind. He and Chris might not be able to stop Clarisse from what she was doing, but Percy knew someone who could.

When it was time for dinner, Percy and Chris practically dragged Clarisse to the table where Percy and his friends sit. She was forced to sit at the edge of the table across from Percy and beside her loving boyf-fiance. She wasn't used to calling him that.

Anyways, as soon as everybody got their food, they noticed a difference between their plates and Clarisse's. She barely had enough to cover her plate. Before she could protest, Percy grabbed her plate and dumped half of his food on hers.

"Percy," she 'whined' (she'd never admit that she did). "I already told you I'm not pre. . ."

She trailed off once she heard a familiar clip-clop of tiny hooves running through the pavilion and a childish voice shouting, "Clary!"

Putting on a fake smile that could fool anyone, Clarisse turned around just in time to catch a young satyr that was not even a year old, but could easily be mistaken for a four year old. The boy giggled in her arms as she peppered him with kisses.

She stopped her onslaught for a moment to give the child a chance to breathe. "What do you need, Chuck?" Clarisse questioned once he settled down in her lap.

"Nothin'!" Chuck exclaimed cheerfully. "I asked Papa if I can see ya and he said yes!"

For those who don't know Chuck is the son of Gleeson Hedge (the satyr) and Mellie (Aura [wind nymph]). Mellie was pregnant with Chuck during the war with the giants and was born the day Gaea was supposed to awake. Clarisse was made the godmother of Chuck because of her being the first demigod that Gleeson brought to camp.

Chuck looked down at Clarisse's plate, looked at everyone else that was eating, and asked his godmother, "Why ain't you eatin'?"

"I'm not hungry," she quickly fibbed to the young boy.

He gave her a questioning look before shouting, "Sure ya are! Everybody's always hungry!" He grabbed a cookie from her plate and split it in half. Chuck gave her the bigger half. "Here ya go! Half for me and half for you!"

Clarisse stared at the 'baby' satyr for a moment, but then noticed he was waiting on her to take a bite before he did. Reluctantly, she took a small bite to please the boy. Chuck got a big grin on his face as he munched down on his own cookie. Once he was finished with his, he waited on Clarisse to finish hers before he gave her a big hug.

"I gotta go back to Mama now." He told Clarisse sadly. "She'd get worried if I stay too long." Chuck gave Clarisse a sweet kiss on the cheek, jumped down from her lap, and (as he scampered off) yelled, "Bye, Clary!"

Clarisse waved goodbye to the young satyr and stared sort of wistfully at his retreating figure. She gazed back down at her half filled plate of food and slowly started to eat it. Her 'friends' at the table waited for her before they headed to the campfire.

For the first time in the last two weeks, Clarisse finally ate more than a nibble for a meal.

While Percy was dealing with the Clarisse issue, he didn't know about the harmless/harmful (depends on how you look at it) prank Annabeth and her mother were playing on everyone. After he had finished his first talk with Clarisse, he noticed his girlfriend talking to her brother. Percy gestured for the sibling to be quiet, but he had a look on his face that said, 'Don't do it.' Percy thought it was odd, but thought nothing about it till he grabbed his girlfriend from behind and lifted her into the air.

Annabeth let out a small yelp out of fright and shouted, "Seaweed Brain! Put me down!"

Once Percy obliged (giving her a kiss on the cheek as a greeting), her brother looked extremely surprised. "You're Annabeth?" Malcolm questioned with all seriousness. "You're the one that's been here the whole time?"

"Of course she's Annabeth," Percy snapped by accident. "Who else could she be?"

"You thought I was Mom," Annabeth deduced with a hint of humor in her voice. When her brother nodded, she looked up at Percy and explained, "She and I were talking about how similar we look and we wondered if anyone would be able to tell either one of us apart if she went blonde. So far you were the only one."

"It was probably by accident," Malcolm teased/joked. "He didn't even know about the prank until now."

Percy raised an eyebrow as he sensed a challenge, but didn't try to pursue it. Instead he insisted, "There's a big difference between Annabeth and Athena. I knew who Annabeth was the moment I saw her."

Malcolm didn't seem to buy it as he said, "Then let's see how well you can decipher who's who for the next few days."

"Not a problem," the son of Poseidon determined. "It won't be a challenge."

Everybody was impressed with Percy. It had only been a couple days, but in that time he was able to distinguish who was who many times throughout the two days within a second.

For example, when he finished his pegasus riding lessons with the other campers, he noticed Athena talking to a group and asked where he could find Annabeth. The campers were extremely confused, but Athena gave him an answer. It was then that the campers realized they were speaking to the immortal goddess, not the eighteen girl that's been there since she was seven.

Another time Annabeth was talking to a couple goddesses when Percy decided to join them. The immortals turned bright red from embarrassment because they honestly thought they were speaking with Athena. Annabeth had responded the same way her mother would have, but she must have been playing on the act for the joke.

Anyways, the campers asked Percy multiple times how he was able to tell who was Annabeth and who was Athena. Even some of the gods asked because they couldn't tell the difference either, even though Athena herself is a goddess. Percy gave the same response every time.

He would shrug his shoulders like it was no big secret and say, "It's something you should be able to notice within a second. It may be different with me because I'm in love with Annabeth."

A few campers told Annabeth about Percy's answer. She blushed bright red every time when someone asked her if she was in love with Percy. He'd save her from embarrassment every time.

Once a couple accidentally told Athena about the response, thinking that she was Annabeth. It wasn't until Percy (who was a few hundred feet away with an arm wrapped around Annabeth) shouted, "That's Athena!" did they realize their mistake. The couple paled from embarrassment and apologized profusely. Athena merely smiled and insisted that there was nothing to apologize for. Although she didn't approve of his relationship with her daughter, Athena did like to hear about how kind and loving he is to her Annabeth.

Sad to say, the campers and the gods had to rely on Percy whenever they had to speak with one of them. The only time anyone could determine who was who was during meals and the campfire sing-a-long. Annabeth would always sit next to Percy while Athena was either with her children, or her Roman sister Diana.

However, a day came to where Percy wasn't the only one that could see the difference. That day came when all the campers were cheerful and actually doing as they were told. Not one camper misbehaved, unless it was toward a god that was rude to a certain someone. You must be thinking, what day could that possibly be? However, you already know.

It was the day Sally visited the camp.
