Thank again for the reviews and please keep reviewing!

"I must thank you again, Shiba-Taichou, for returning my daughter to me." Your mother spoke as you stood in the corner of the room, your main focus on the new man in your home. He was certainly one of the first Captains that you had seen that had come to your "rescue"; besides Unohana and you didn't really think of Ginrei as a Captain due to the fact that you had known him all your life. So, why had this Captain known as Isshin Shiba come to interfere between you and Byakuya? You tilted your head to the side as the man gave a goofy type of grin and looked at your mother with a small laugh.

"There's really no need to thank me. I just happened to be passing by when I had come upon their squabble out in the street." His eyes landed on you from across the room and you could tell that he was a rather playful type of man, he certainly reminded you of Urahara Kisuke.

"If you had not intercepted them when you had the chance though, I know my daughter very well Captain, she would have done everything to try to run from Byakuya-san." You rolled your eyes, knowing that your mother was right and you would have ran the first chance you had gotten. Loud laughter filled your ears and your eyes snapped back to the man who was sitting across the table from your mother, he was laughing again? Why was this man so happy in the first place? You raised an eye and decided to creep closer, he certainly was a strange man to you.

"Shiba-Taichou, I do have a question." you said, walking over and sitting on the side of the table next to both him and your mother. He quieted down and looked your way, a smile playing on his face.

"Well, fire away then!" You raised a brow, he really was a strange man.

"Is it hard to become a Shinigami?"

"Nikkiou-"

"Because, I wish to become one." You drowned out your mother's slightly raised tone of your name and you were sucked into the conversation with this young, yet older than you, man Isshin. Isshin glanced between you and your mother, he knew something was up between the two of you but he didn't allow the awkwardness to show.

"Well, you have to go to The Academy, unless you're high enough in the "stature" that you could be brought in by a Captain that wants you on their team." You felt a smirk play to your lips at the last part, so you could join Unohana's division since she had given you permission, lovely.

"Of course there will be none of that," Your mother stated, drawing Isshin's attention back to her.

"May I ask why, ma'am?"

"She is to be married to Byakuya Kuchiki." Isshin's expression was blank as he looked at your mother then to you then back to your mother. He seemed confused about the whole ordeal as a thumb went up and he had it pointed back behind him toward the door.

"You mean that royal sap that had her in a death grip in the street?" Your mother's mouth dropped from the word usage that came from the captain before her. You couldn't help but chuckle, knowing that Byakuya didn't mean any harm but to someone who wasn't in your position it did look like something else.

"Shiba-Taichou, I assure you that Byakuya-san did not mean her any harm."

"Could'a fooled me." He whispered, glancing over to you and smiling slightly. You felt your stomach tingle and your eyes being cast down to the table, why did the opposite sex have such an effect on you now?

"Anyway, thank you again Shiba-Taichou for returning my daughter to me." Your mother told him, standing from her spot at the table and causing the man to rise quickly to his own feet while you rose at a much slower pace.

"My maids shall show you out, good-day Captain." You knew your mother was at her wits end when she went to dismiss the Captain, you could hear it clear in her voice. Isshin glanced at you once more before turning to leave with the maid that had been called forth and had started to escort him out of the house.

You left the room shortly after your guest had left, despite your mother's calls for you to return to the room. You raced through the hall and toward the back door and after hopping the wall around your house you had then ran all the way around to the front of the house, making sure that you weren't seen by any of the workers of the household. Right as you rounded the corner of the property, you watched as the gates to your house had closed and left Isshin out front staring back at the doors. He sighed and scratched the back of his head and grumbled something nearly attributable to you.

"Don't beat yourself up, mother hasn't been the same since my father passed away." Your voice caused Isshin to jump slightly and do a quick turn around to find you standing there looking at him. He blinked, looking all around before looking back at you and lifting his finger toward you.

"How did you?"

"Ran out the back door, climbed the wall, ran to meet you here." You stated as a matter of fact. Isshin then rubbed the side of his nose as he seemed to still be slightly confused about the whole ordeal that was occurring.

"Shouldn't you go back inside? I'm sure I can hear your mother inside yelling for you." You both looked at the closed wooden doors to your home and you both could indeed hear your mother calling for you from inside the walls of your home. You shrugged and approached Isshin with your arms crossed before looking him up and down curiously.

"I don't really care right now. Look, I'll lay it on you as simple as possible. Do you know how to use healing Kido?" Isshin blinked, things seemed to keep becoming even more confusing by the second for him as he started to think if "saving" you was really all worth this trouble.

"Well, yeah, to be honest it was really the only class I ever paid any mind to in The Academy." Your face lit up and Isshin could see that his words really hit you. You smiled and laughed as you reached out for his hands and grabbed them, pulling them toward you and causing him to nearly lose his balance.

"Please, teach me how to use healing Kido!"

"Why would you want to learn something like that?"

"In order to join the 4th Division! I was requested by Unohana-Taichou to learn it for a spot in her division. She said it wasn't necessary, but it would help me to gain the spot. So please, you must teach me everything you know!" Isshin blinked, today was just not his day to not be confused.

"Uhh, but your mother doesn't want-"

"Forget about that!" You said releasing his hands and waving a hand in front of your face. "It's not my mother's life, it's mine and there are certain things that I have to do in order to have my dreams come true." Isshin sighed and scratched underneath his chin. He looked down at you, how could he say no to such a girl like yourself. You were willing to work hard in order to become a Shinigami and you weren't about ready to let anyone tell you otherwise. You were a very strange girl to come by in the Soul Society, especially for a royal woman, so what was he suppose to do?

"I promise, nobody will know you're training me! So, you won't get into any trouble!" He sighed, knowing that you definitely wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Alright, alright, I'll help you learn healing Kido!" He didn't expect you to react in the way you had. You squealed like a school girl and latched yourself onto his body in a tight hug as you continued to thank him over and over again. He felt weird with you acting this way toward him and grabbed your shoulder to push you back slightly as he cleared his throat.

"But, that means that I'm your Captain for the time being, so you need to address me as Shiba-Taichou understand!" I nodded, becoming slightly serious but still feeling a bit playful at the same time so you took a step back and gave him a salute and large smile.

"Yes sir, Shiba-Taichou!"

It wasn't long before the both of you were laughing right where you stood.
