Okay, I should definitely apologize for not updating this sooner. Honestly, I had writer's block. But hey, here's chapter 12. I'll add chapter 13 way earlier of course. Please, enjoy and leave a review if you feel like it. I would really appreciate it!

Saiki steps out of the train. She slowly starts walking towards the building of the Japanese Taskforce. She was either going to learn the truth, or they would claim that she is Kira and capture her. She thought about Naito. If she would've been captured, then the real Kira would still be out there. She hated the thought. These moments seemed to take forever. She looked around, then she crosses the road. She finally enters the building. "Excuse me." She says to a man. It's Mogi. "Wait, you're Saiki Aemi, right? How did you find us?" Mogi says. He is shocked. This could mean that Drew was innocent, or that they were both Kira, but he had no clue how Saiki found them. "I got a letter. It was from L." Saiki says. Mogi is shocked. Near told her where they were operating from? Why did he do that? "Please, wait here for a moment." Mogi says. He walks away, grabs his phone and calls Near.

"Yes?" Says Near. "Why the hell did you send Saiki Aemi here?!" Yells Mogi. He is mad at Near. Near realizes that L did this, so he plays the part. "Trust me, it's all part of my plan." Near says. Mogi is quiet for a moment. "Well, what am I supposed to do with her?" Mogi asks. Near thinks about it. What did L want Near to do? Then he realizes L's plan. "Bring her to Drew." Near says, and he ends the phone call. "Great idea, Near. Leave Konoye in the room with Kira and another potential Kira." Mogi whispers. He brings Saiki upstairs. He opens the door, and walks in with Saiki. Drew is shocked, and so is Saiki. How was he going to escape now? He didn't want Saiki to have a confirmation that he is in fact Kira. He had to find a way out. "Saiki? What are you doing here?" Drew asks to Saiki. "Yeah, what's she doing here?" Konoye asks. "Had to bring her here. Near's orders." Mogi says. They put Saiki in the same cell as Drew. Saiki looks traumatized. "Please don't tell me that you're Kira, Drew. Please..." She whispers, but something in her snaps. Drew and Saiki were the only two who the cops suspected, and it made sense somehow. Saiki always felt like Drew liked her more than just as a friend, and right after they started dating Naito died.

"It wasn't me." Drew says. Saiki looks at him. She looks angry. She hits him in the face. "You lying piece of shit!" She yells at Drew. She is crying. "How could you do this to me? To Naito?" She yells. "I'm not Kira!" Drew yells at Saiki. He starts to cry too. "I wish that I believed you, I honestly do!" She says. "Calm down!" Konoye says. Saiki looks at Konoye. "How would you feel if one of your friends turned out to be a gruesome murderer?" She yells at Konoye. Konoye realizes that he should back off, and just let them fight. Meanwhile Mogi leaves the room. "I can't believe that you would do something like this..." Saiki says, suddenly in a very soft voice. Drew wants to calm her, but he knows he can't. He feels broken inside. "So, if anyone of you two is up for a confession, now is the time." Konoye says to the two. Konoye walks towards the door, and he checks if anyone is around. Then he grabs a chair, and he sits in front of the two.

"Leroy Nako." He says, as he grabs a fake passport, which confirms his fake name. Drew is shocked. Did this cop just tell Drew his name? No, he couldn't have. It had to be a trick. "What are you doing? You're putting yourself in danger!" Saiki says to the cop. "I don't feel threatened. You see, I'm a follower of Kira. " Konoye says with a soft voice. Saiki looks traumatized. She was in a very dangerous situation. "Now, I'll be sitting in my chair over here. I'll put the keys on the ground for you to leave." Konoye says. Konoye believes that he can use this strategy to see who writes his fake name. If he noticed anything odd, then he would've found Kira.

Aizawa looked at his phone. "A new anonymous text message." He says. He opens the text message. "Get all the cops out of the building as soon as you can. Things have gone south. - L" He reads. "Ugh..." He says. "Near wants us to leave." Aizawa says to the others. "What, just like that?" Ide says. He is shocked. Aizawa nods. "Near must have his reasons. I want this to end, and if it will end by leaving now, then I'm fine with it." Aizawa says. The others hesitate, but then they nod. "Tony Rhone, go get Konoye." Aizawa says. Rhone nods, and he walks towards their room.

Drew was left with no choice. The cop was looking at him. He would definitely notice if Drew wrote something on the torn off page. He was thinking about Tir's eye deal. It would confirm the name of the cop. Drew didn't believe the cop, but he didn't leave it out as a possibility. He looks at Tir, who's standing next to Drew. Tir is smiling. Then he looks at Saiki. If Drew told Tir to do the eye deal, then the cop and Saiki would both know that Drew was Kira. He was staring at Saiki. This was the moment, he knew it. Saiki would learn that Drew was Kira, and she would hate him for eternity. He was keeping himself from crying. He would lose everything. He had to escape as soon as he could. He had no idea how Saiki would react. "I'm sorry, Saiki..." Drew whispers. Saiki looks at Drew, and she starts crying. Konoye gets off his chair. "Give me the eyes."

Tir looks at Drew, and he smiles. "You know the cost, half of the time you have left." Tir says. He puts his hand on Drew's face. Drew closes his eyes, then he opens them again. He looks at the cop. His name was 'Seto Konoye'. Konoye grabs his gun, but Drew had already written his name. "It's you!" Konoye says loudly. "I'm sorry." Drew says to Saiki. Then Konoye drops to the ground. He's dead. Saiki hits Drew in his face, and she throws him on the ground. "I will kill you, you lying piece of shit! I promise you that you will die for this! How could you?!" Saiki yells at Drew. Her tears drop on Drew's face. Drew was also crying. He had lost everything. He knew that the other cops would be there soon. Saiki looks Drew in his eyes. She is still hitting his face. She keeps pushing it against the floor. Blood already got out of the back of his head. "Rest in heaven, Saiki." Drew says. Suddenly her heart stops. She looks Drew in his eyes. She had been betrayed, and she had lost everything now too. Her dead body drops onto Drew.

Drew puts his hands around her body. Her head lies on his shoulders. Her eyes are still open. Drew closes her eyes with his fingers, then he kisses her on her forehead. Drew pushes her body off of him. He tries to keep his tears away, but he can't. "I will never forgive myself for this, Saiki..." He whispers. Then he looks at the door. He sees Rhone standing with his gun aimed at Drew's head. Drew can see his name. 'Tony Rhone'. Drew tries to write Rhone's name, but suddenly he gets a very cold feeling in his arm. He heared a loud noise. Rhone shot his arm. He is bleeding. Drew is crying, but then he starts to laugh. "What's so funny?" Rhone asks. Drew has an evil grin on his face. "You're too late." Drew says.

L is walking through the graveyard. He looks to his right, and suddenly he stops. On the grave he reads 'Watari'. "Farewell, Watari." L says. He puts a blue flower on Watari's grave. Then he looks to his right. There was no name on this grave, but he knew who was buried there. He grabbed a shovel. He started digging in the grave. He threw the dirt behind him. He never looked up at the sunset. He just kept digging. Finally his shovel hit something. He threw all the dirt aside, and he looked at a coffin. He just stared at it for a single moment, but then he threw the shovel aside. He slowly opened the coffin, and he looked inside. He just stared at it for a moment. Fear could be seen in his eyes, for he saw something impossible. L was looking at his own rotten body.
