A/N: Finally I'm learning to update per day~ It's almost summer and my last test day will be tomorrow guys~ Maybe I can finally finish this on Sunday... Then I promise I'll get started right away with book two so you can have your Maxon back~ Though I'm still not sure if he'll still end up with America in the end... ah, let's just see...

News sure goes out fast.

The other day, I fought what humanity knew as the most undefeatable pirate in all of history. Now I was trying to eat my soup while the people around me stared.

General Ivana said my eyes didn't go back to normal until I passed out back to the headquarters. My irises were red. No pupils, just pure red irises. I could have hurt more people if they hadn't restrained me. The only thing Ivana said to me was that she was thankful that I didn't go beserk and have black shades on my eyes.

They decided to let me rank earlier than my fellow cadets. Guess where I was placed? ALPHA.

The very first ALPHA soldier in over a decade. It felt like, one minute I was resisting to enter the Selection, then the next I'm now officially a soldier.

Since there were no other ALPHAs with me, I couldn't eat alone in that table, so I was seated along with General Ivy and the OMEGAs.

The other cadets stare at me, but most just look at my military jacket. The ALPHA emblem, wings with two swords crossed. It was every cadets dream military jacket. It's either they feel amazed to see a human being wear it again, or angry because they didn't think I was deserving.

I couldn't take the stares for much longer and excused myself from the table.

I was now stationed at the ALPHA suit. It was too large for me. About a dozen of rooms, a meeting lobby, hell it even had a gigantic flat screen television. I decided to use this opportunity to watch TV.

The signals almost go all around the world, and coincidentally, I opened a random channel coming from Illea.

Apparently Blood Bath was right, the Selection had ended with Kriss. They were bound to get married this December.

I was expecting myself to lock myself out and cry for days but honestly, I don't care anymore. I'm not even sure if my feelings for him still surface.

"Hey, hey, hey..."

I turned my head and saw my friends, Portia and Jaydyn walk in. "Tania you should really lock your door. Unwanted people might wanna steal your sweet room."

Jaydyn whistled, "So this is the ALPHA suit... Neat..."

"Literally," Portia added.

"Come in guys... sit. I think I need some company anyway."

"Still not used to getting called Titania?" Jaydyn asked.

"Not one bit. I don't know what I was thinking..."

"But the name suits you," Portia tried to lighten up the mood. "Titania Rose, that's nice."

"Hah," is all I was able to say...

The TV suddenly bursted with cheers of joy as the screen projected the newly engaged couple of Illea walking by the beach (it's like the scene for Princess Diaries 2, bear with me guys~)

"Oh look, it's the royal couple and they're waving at us!" an excited lady reporter said.

"Douche," Jaydyn let out.

"It wasn't entirely his fault. And besides, I'm okay. I got you guys here."

I opened my arms and tried to wrap them around them.

Maybe this is where my path should be heading all along. And I'm happy with that.

I'm finally learning how to properly tear the pages of my old life and now I'm going to write a new story.

Marcus was the one who dragged us out of the room.

We were now situated in the OMEGAs meeting room with General Ivana.

"Thank you cadets, now if you will excuse the two of us. This talk is rather... private."

My three friends obeyed and went outside. The door sounded shut and it was just me and the general inside the room.

"Sit." and I did.

"America... or sorry, Titania..."

"Ugh..."

"Still not used to your new name?" I shook my head.

"Anyway, it appears that General Kim Dragona has taken twenty BETA soldiers as hostages."

"Who's General Kim?"

"Well, Dragona used to be called North Korea before the Third World War. It was already known for it's dictatorship. General Kim takes charge after his early ancestors died. It's basically in his blood."

"Oh," I say. She continues.

"We need you in our mission to free those soldiers."

"Is there a good reason why he wants to take our soldiers?"

"Eh," she replied. "Some old dispute about teaming up with China, now called New Asia by the way, to get most of Creta's islands. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten over it, and the fact that only half of Creta is all that's left."

"Alright then," I casually say. "I'm in."

"You can't be serious!"

I hear Marcus's voice emit from outside. Apparently they have been listening to our conversation the whole time.

"Are you serious general?" He says as he bursts inside. "We can't send her. When we go out to fight with Dragonians almost half of our troops die. We can't take the risk!"

"We aren't going to fight," I retort. "We're just going get some soldiers and retreat. Just like that."

"Still," Portia said. "it's too dangerous."

"If Tania's in, we should come to," Jaydyn suggested.

General Ivy raised her brow.

"What?" I said to them. "You can't! You're basically still cadets. That would be suicide!"

"So what, that's what friends are for... And we're getting Toni to tag along whether you like it or not."

I look at General Ivy, asking for help to talk them out of this.

She sighs and says, "Very well, we'll go out the day after tomorrow. Prepare yourselves."
