Its St Patricks Day tomorrow and Lord knows I'll be too hungover on Wednesday to upload and write, so I finished what I could and this is what I came to. I hope you like it.

Disclaimer: I do not own Twilight, sadly.

We arrived at Tyler Crowley's house and already at eight o'clock the place was pumping with deep house music. I was worried they'd have a complete different taste of music here but obviously I was wrong. I was irrevocably in love with classical music but the teenager in me couldn't help but dance to this kind of music. It was fun.

I climbed out of Jessica's car, careful not to flash anyone in the garden as I did so. I didn't want Edward chastising me for showing my arse off to some high school boys before I even had a drink.

I smiled at everyone as they passed, yelling "thank you" as they wished me a happy birthday that had passed a week ago. They didn't have to know that though. It was the thought that counted.

I stepped inside the house and was attacked by students of Forks High. Girls were hugging me and boys were high fiving me and all I could do was laugh and smile back. Alice was lapping up the attention like the seeker she was, so I left her to her fans.

Jessica ushered me through the house until we reached the kitchen. The house was average size; nothing compared to the house I lived in with the Cullen's. It was just like mine back in London. I smiled and waved at everyone, people I barely knew but once I reached the kitchen table, I was met with familiar faces.

"Bella!" Angela beamed, rising from her seat to hug me. "You look incredible!" She gushed.

"You look even better, wow, Angela!" I blushed. She really did look amazing. She wore a baby pink dress that flowed right above the knee but it was still deemed to be called sexy.

I noticed everyone had different ways of dressing up in this town. Some girls opted for jeans, which I would have preferred right now and others went all out with heels and barely there dresses. I thought I fit in between those types.

"You've come at the right time, Bella," Ben said from beside Angela. I furrowed my brows in confusion until I felt weak, pale arms wrap around my body from behind. Lauren giggled into her bottle of beer.

Mike Newton was wrapped around me like a vice and I could already smell the alcohol off his breath.

"Happy birthday, Bella!" He slurred. I gently pushed him off me.

"It's not my birthday," I muttered. Everyone at the table laughed at my reaction.

"You need a drink, birthday girl!" Mike cheered, grabbing a bottle of Heineken from a bucket on the countertop. I took it gratefully and chugged it back, smiling around the bottle as the girls cheered for me.

Jessica joined me by yelling out "shots!"

We all took rounds of shots and as the night went on, I could feel myself becoming drunker and drunker. I found the love of my life called beer pong and we had an intimate love affair for most of the party.

When it was time for cake, I felt like crying with happiness. Everyone sang a round of 'Happy birthday' and Alice and I blew out the candles while the guys shouted crude remarks about 'blowing'. I was so intoxicated I laughed at their dumb jokes.

"Bella, we need a birthday dance!" Mike came up to me, grabbing me by the waist. I laughed darkly, pushing him away slightly.

"I think I'm way too drunk for this," I said between giggles. Mike smiled back, completely clueless to the fact that I was saying no to his fucking dance.

"That's fine with me. I can be a drunken mistake," he grinned broadly.

"That's disgusting," I said half-heartedly. "This is extremely desperate."

"You're the hottest girl here, Bella," Mike told me. I blanched at the idea. Didn't he see the girls in this room? Not that he deserved them, but he had other options to stalk.

"That's a lie and I simply don't want you, Mike. I like you as a friend," I explained.

"With benefits?" Mike winked. He was unstoppable.

"You're unbelievable!" I stormed off, back towards the living room where I danced on my own, swaying my hips to the beat of Chris Brown. That man had some vocals. I loved me some Chris Brown.

"Bella, we have to take pictures!" Alice called from the crowd of dancing people. I was introduced to the owner of the house, Tyler and he seemed very friendly. He offered me a lot of beer.

Alice dived on top of me and I giggled, probably embarrassing myself as I hugged Alice close to me, waiting for Jessica to take the picture. She swayed before us but kept her balance. Every time she had a perfect shot, she'd stumble and the picture would come out blurry. We had a fun time screaming at her for it.

"This is amazing, Bella, thank you for having your birthday so close to mine!" Alice pecked me on the lips, as most drunk girls would do on a night out and I kissed her forehead, glad to have a friend like her in this town.

She was very drunk and screaming in my ear so I moved away from her quickly, finding myself sprawled out on the couch with Jess and Lauren beneath me.

"Your dress is nice, I forgot to say it to you," Lauren commented. I smirked. My drunk brain was all for being one hundred percent honest with people. Also, vodka made me narky.

"Because you didn't want to tell me," I urged. Jessica looked from Lauren and me, worriedly.

"No, of course I didn't," Lauren grinned, pushing me off her until I was in a sitting position.

"What's your problem?" I demanded.

"You're my problem," she said back with a roll of her eyes.

"You don't know me enough to not like me," I sneered, feeling Jessica's hands wrap around my arm. I must've leaned towards Lauren or something.

"Oh, I know enough about you, Isabella," Lauren snarled back and the tone in her voice made me wonder if she really did know something about me; something not meant to be shared.

"Alright, ladies, that's enough!" Jasper came over to break up the soon to be cat fight with two other boys in tow. They were both tall, dark and extremely good looking. But of course, not my type. I barely paid attention to either of them when I rolled off the chair and into Jaspers arms.

"You need some water, Swan?" Jasper grinned, walking me back towards the kitchen.

"No, I'm fine!" I beamed back. "Drunk as a skunk but fine!"

Jasper laughed and practically carried me to the kitchen where he plopped me onto the island in the centre of the room. Most people were dancing out in the living room so the kitchen was basically mine for the taking. The remainder of the house was occupied by horny teenagers.

Which reminds me…

"I'm basically an adult," I said proudly to Jasper and the two unnamed boys.

"I know. It's your birthday after all."

"I'm eighteen. I'm the only person legal in this room to drink… if we were back in the UK," I pouted.

"That accent is hot," one of the tall boys said.

"Who are they?" I drunk whispered to Jasper.

"James and Jacob," Jasper explained.

"JJ," I laughed loudly, covering my mouth with my hands. The boys shook their heads but laughed along with me. "I heard baaad things about J number one."

Jasper stepped in between my legs to whisper in my ear. It wasn't sexual at all, knowing that he was Alice's but it still startled me nonetheless.

"Keep your mouth shut about that, please, Bella, I'm begging," Jasper said softly. He wasn't being harsh. It worried me how much it meant for me to keep quiet about this James guy. What was so bad about him that even Jessica had to hate his guts?

"Scouts honour," I whispered, saluting him. My drunk brain was still in effect but I knew myself not to speak a word to or about James.

"Lovely to meet you boys, you're fab, but I need to go bathroom now, bye!" I hopped down off the island, pushing Jasper away and halted to a stop when I saw Alice glaring in my direction in the doorway with Lauren just leaving her side.

"What the hell, Bella?" Alice cried. "Why was Jazz between your legs?"

"I was being a loud mouth to James so Jasper told me to shut up. It wasn't anything sexual, I swear. He wouldn't flirt with me Alice, he's got you? What better prize is there than that?" I explained. I was proud of myself for not stumbling over many words in those sentences. Yay Bella!

Alice looked behind me to where Jasper was calling her over.

"I swear to you Alice, I wouldn't do that to you," I added. "Ask him yourself."

Alice nodded but I wasn't sure she believed me just yet. "I really like him, Bella. I might even love him."

I smiled at her, truly delighted for her declaration. "I'm happy for you, Alice. I could already see it in your eyes whenever you talked about him but it's nice to finally hear it. Now go get him!"

She hugged me in thanks and ran to her boo, whilst I stood there watching for a moment, forgetting that I needed to use the bathroom. I stumbled up the stairs, thinking back on what Alice said about Jasper.

She and Jasper had it so easy. They were the same age, same interests, had nothing standing in the way of their relationship and could easily fall for one another without fear of getting hurt. I envied their relationship so much now that I realised Edward and I had it a lot harder.

There was a long line when I reached the last step and groaned.

"Is this for the bathroom?" I sighed.

A tall girl with curly hair turned around to answer me. "Yep. I think there's someone fucking in there. I've been waiting ten minutes now."

"For fuck sake," I muttered to myself and wandered around the second floor to pass the time. I found an empty bedroom and decided to lie down for a while, knowing that if I kept thinking about Alice' relationship and my feelings for Edward, I'd start to cry from being so drunk.

The reality of my situation came down on me hard and sobered me up slightly.

The door of the bedroom opened and I sat up, my head spinning from the fast movement as I watched a dark figure enter the room.

"The room's occupied, so if you've brought someone here to shag, I suggest you move on," I groaned, not in the mood to hear someone have sex.

"I'm alone actually," the figure said. It was a boy.

"Well that's even creepier," I gagged. "Ugh!"

The boy chucked and shut the door. The lights were still off so before I had time to panic, he switched them on, revealing who it was.

James smiled down at me as he made his way closer to the bed. The look in his eyes told me he wasn't drunk but wasn't exactly sober either. I didn't know why but it made me scared of the situation.

I pulled out my phone, pretending to just scroll through apps and pictures, but really I pressed call to Edward's number. I pressed the lock button and set the phone beside me, praying to god he'd pick up.

"I've never seen you here before," James commented, sitting beside me on the bed. I moved away from him slightly. I was sobering up as the seconds went by.

"No one has told you about me yet?" I asked. "I'm an exchange student. Hence the accent."

James chuckled and nestled in closer.

"Do you mind?" I demanded. "You're getting a bit too close for comfort."

"I could comfort you," James smirked.

"I'd rather not," I smiled sarcastically. I was putting on a brave front but my heart pounding beneath my chest told him otherwise. My body was screaming at me to run and also to scream down the phone for help. I didn't know why that was, I just hated this whole situation!

"I could always make you," James said, not a hint of a lie spilling from his mouth. I licked my lips, anticipating his next move so I could get up and bolt.

"I have a boyfriend," I lied.

"I doubt anyone could hold you down, baby."

I gagged, literally vomiting into my mouth. I swallowed it back down and looked to the door.

James could see my eyes shift and before I could move, he had me locked down on the bed, trapped beneath his weight.

"Hel"-

James' hand clasped around my mouth, cutting off my cry for help. I tried to scream around his hand but James only chuckled.

"No one is going to hear you. We're at a party remember? Those screams will only be taken for joy."

I fought as hard as I could against his body, but it was impossible to get away from him. I still tried to scream. Oh Lord I still screamed but no one seemed to be coming to my rescue. I didn't feel James touching me yet, or his lips, and it made me wonder if he was getting pleasure out of me begging to be saved first.

I didn't know which but I was doomed for all intents and purposes.

Tears trailed down my cheeks and I winced when James' hands glided down my body. I damned myself for wearing a dress that had such easy access.

Just when I thought my body would be ruined forever, the door busted open and a tall figure was bounding towards us until I was finally free from James' grip, as it hands ripped my underwear from the impact.

"Get off of her!"

Once I was free to breath, I pulled my dress back down over my body and wrapped my arms around my legs, quivering as my body was wracked with sobs. I looked up and found that it was Edward who got James up by the scruff and punched him square in the face, the impact of the blow forcing James' nose to crack and blood to spurt everywhere.

I looked away, not wanting to see such a thing and heard James fall to the floor. I think Edward got a good few kicks in before he finally stopped still.

"Don't you ever touch a girl against her will again!" Edward hissed.

My eyes were squeezed shut and my tears never faltered, even though I knew I was safe now. I jumped when I felt a hand take my leg gently but relaxed when I realised it was only Edward.

"Bella, are you alright?" He demanded. I couldn't talk. I was too shaken up. Too drunk. Too fucking scared.

"Bella, please, talk to me. I need to know if you're alright. Did he touch you?"

Instead of answering verbally, I sobbed out a cry and leaped towards him, wrapping my arms around him like he was my only savour. Which in this case, he was.

Edward's hands went around me too, clutching me to his strong body, making me feel even safer. I didn't know if the alcohol was making me cry this much, but either way, I couldn't stop. James lay unmoving on the floor and the sight of him made me want to bolt to the door, get on a plane and never return to this town again.

"Hush, you're safe, you're alright," Edward shushed me softly. "You're so fucking smart, Bella. What made you think of calling me? You're incredible, I'm so sorry I couldn't get here sooner."

I shook my head against his chest, nestling into him even further, not worrying in the slightest if I was getting make-up all over him. I was too far gone to care.

"I n-need t-to g-go h-h-home!" I wailed, hugging him closer.

"I can arrange that, I understand," Edward said, confusing me as he wrapped his jacket around my shivering body.

"N-no, not h-home home!" I cried. "Just h-home with y-you!"

Edward didn't respond, but rather scooped me up into his arms like a baby, making sure to grab my phone too. He stepped over James' limp body and I wondered if maybe he was dead. My sober brain told me obviously not. And I didn't care that he tried to force himself onto me, death was far too kind.

Edward carried me down the stairs and everyone seemed to freeze when they caught sight of me in his arms. I had to wrap my hand around my bum so no one could get show, but Edward already had me covered by throwing his jacket around me upstairs.

The music stopped and I could hear people whispering my name constantly. Someone even muttered the words "where's James?"

I hid my face into the crook of Edward's neck. No one would think it was in an intimate way. I had clearly been distraught. It wasn't hard to see something had happened to me.

I heard Alice' heels click their way towards Edward and I.

"What happened?" She cried out. I heard Jasper mutter a hello to Edward.

"There's a boy upstairs who attacked Isabella," Edward whispered to them so no one could here. "I took care of him but it wasn't enough in my opinion. Keep him here and call Chief Cheeney. I want him arrested for this. I'll be back once Bella is safe."

"Yes Mr Cullen. Alice, call the station," Jazz said.

Edward began moving through the crowds again and the news travelled like fire about what happened to me and who with. My crying started back up again, knowing I wouldn't be treated the same now. Edward said he wanted James arrested for what he tried to do but that only made me feel worse. I had wanted James to suffer for his attempt but now, all I wanted to do was forget about it. I didn't want to be scared of him or how others looked at me.

I was suddenly placed lightly into the back of Edward's car as I cried softly into his warm jacket. My legs were freezing and all I wanted to do was rip my fucking underwear off since they had been touched by that boy. They were torn at the side from when he was throw off of me so to have them on still was completely pointless.

"We'll be home in ten, Bella, but we need to talk once we get there," Edward said, pulling out of Tyler's driveway.

"Can we just drive for a while?" I begged. "Please? I don't want to face this right now."

"We have to Bella, I'm sorry. I won't let this slide. He put his hands on you without your fucking permission! He tried to"-

"I know what he tried to do!" I wailed. "And I don't want to think of it right now so please, can we just go?"

Edward looked at me in the rear view mirror, looking for something I did not know, but he seemed to listen to me.

"I want you home, Bella, where you'll be safe," Edward shot me down. "I won't let him get away with this. You're also drunk so sleep will do you good before you talk to the police."

I growled in anger but shut up, letting the tears fall silently down my face as Edward drove off back home.

A lot happened in this chapter. I kind of sprung it on you without warning because that's sort of what I do. I hope you all enjoyed reading. Happy Paddy's Day for Tuesday if you celebrate it!

Reviews are love so give me some love!
