A/N: Heh. It's been over a year since my last update and I can't believe it. I'm so unbelievably sorry. It's come to my attention that I go through depressive episodes in which doing anything whatsoever is difficult. I feel nothing about anything which means my already lacking motivation is just gone. It took me awhile to get to a point where I could even bring myself to open the files for my chapters for this story, but here I am. I'm determined to finish this story seeing as how it only consists of fifteen chapters which I have had mostly written since 2015. Yeah. Uh here's to hoping I don't go missing again anytime soon! And if I do, feel free to yell at me if need be… Assuming anyone is still reading this… Anyway, this whole thing basically started out as a joke between my younger sister and I and now look what it is! And without further ado:
Disclaimer: I own nothing!
"You guys need to stop fighting!" The only female in the room was rather concerned with what had been happening lately. It was continuous fight after fight, and gone was the lighthearted energy from their earlier days as a band. There was limited time until that first concert, and now really wasn't the time to be arguing like this. Besides, Gajeel was busy at work. They couldn't let anything too substantial happen while he was gone.
"It's not my fault Elfman is a klutz!" Freed was absolutely fuming. Sure, Elfman had fallen on him a few minutes ago, but there was no need for such strong emotions. So yeah, it looked like Freed was having some issues at the moment.
"Yeah, and I'm not the one who keeps biting everyone!" Natsu may or may not have started to bite people when they came near him. Lyon may or may not be the person who kept getting bitten because they were stupid enough to continue sitting next to him.
"And I'm definitely not the one who keeps whacking everyone in the head with a wooden spoon!" And yeah, Jellal was hitting people with a spoon. But in his defense, Alzack had scared him when he had popped out of the hatch.
"What is wrong with all of you today? You've never fought like this before!" It was getting sort of scary what with all the glaring going on. Meredy was honestly surprised the room hadn't frozen over with the looks everyone was shooting left and right. The boys weren't themselves today, and that was just well, bad.
"Every band breaks up eventually. It's inevitable. Someone always gets mad and then they never talk to each other again. Maybe our fight is just coming sooner than expected." Romeo was as pessimistic as always, or at least as he had been after starting high school. It could destroy all joy, even that which was harbored by the most optimistic.
"Yeah, but we wouldn't be having this problem if it weren't for the fact that Lyon is an idiot!" Now usually Gray called his brother an idiot in a joking way. Today, it was done in such an utterly pitiful way. If one had only heard Gray's comment, they never in a million years would have assumed that the boys were brothers of some sort.
"You guys should just get out! Why are you even still here?" Laxus, realizing he still hated people and had no faith in humanity, decided it was officially time to kick everyone out of his bar. Of course had he realized he owned the building an hour ago, he would have sent them out as soon as the fighting started. Sadly, he often forgot he owned a business such as this.
"ALL OF YOU SIT BACK DOWN AND LISTEN UP!" Meredy was done playing nice at this point. With Ultear constantly busy with whatever new boyfriend she had gotten, and her only other female friends at work all the time, the band was all Meredy had. She would be damned if she let it fall to pieces in front of her without trying to stop the break. And so, the boys sat down quickly, fearful of the tone which she had addressed them in. Nodding slightly at the sight, the girl continued speaking. "We are going to do a lovely exercise, okay? We are going to take a minute and just switch lives with someone today."
"Meredy, that's stupid." Loke rolled his eyes dramatically. No one was too sure which personality he had at the moment, but they did know he was in for a tongue lashing after this was all over. Meredy did not take kindly to being insulted.
"Shut up and do what I say! Now let me think for a minute." The manager was lost to the world for a grand total of thirty seconds. When she came back to Earth, the boys were all attacking each other on the floor of the bar. Doing the only thing she knew would work, the pinkette pulled out her phone. Five minutes later hope had arrived.
"ALL OF YOU STOP!" The boys all froze upon hearing the voice. Erza Scarlet had arrived, and she was angry. Ripping the boys off of each other was an easy task for the women for a few reasons. For one, they all feared her and weren't willing to put up a fight, and well the other reason was the female's brute strength. And yeah, Meredy totally had enlisted Erza as a back up plan in case of emergency. I mean how else was she supposed to keep the boys in line?
"Erza, what are you doing here?" Being forced into chairs hadn't taken long, and now they all waited patiently for a response. Well, not so patiently actually. The boys were squirming so much in their chairs that Erza was surprised they didn't knock the things over.
"You wouldn't stop fighting. Now, you are a team. You do not need to act like ruffians." She said this all without explaining Meredy had called her. It seemed as though Erza had some sixth sense for when they were getting into trouble, or maybe she had just been walking by and noticed the fighting. Whatever it was they assumed, Erza was happy to keep the fact that Meredy had called her a secret from the boys. They'd be mad at their manager is they knew.
"Okay, now that you're all paying attention, we need to get back to what I was talking about. That exercise that you have all dubbed as pointless and stupid. You are going to switch lives with each other for today. I will be deciding who switches with who. The point of this all is to show you that you all have some form of issues." Bam, she had actually been able to come up with a plan in such short notice. Of course that fight and waiting on Erza had bought her a little extra time to hash everything out in her head, but to no matter.
"That's not going to change anything." The comment was both rude, and possibly a little true. Meredy wasn't one hundred percent sure how these guys lived their daily lives, and was unaware of what problems they faced. Either way though, she was going to make them go through with this, and pray things would work out in her favor.
"Romeo, you get to be Natsu for the day. Pinky, you're Freed. Freed, Jellal. Jellal is Alzack, and Al is Bixlow. Bixlow, you can go ahead and be Gray. Gray is going to be Elfman. Elfie shall be Loke. Loke is Lyon. Lyon is Laxus. And finally, Sparky is Romeo. Now I suggest sitting down and all of you writing down what you usually do on a day like this. Whoever is you has to follow the schedule. I will be checking to make sure you are doing this. Or I might send it is, beware." And then the girl was pushing them to a table with pens and paper. And yes, there was a random table with all of this set out.
"Sure, it should be easy to be someone whose best friend tried to tell him she liked him. The easy part is due to the fact that he was stupid and didn't realize what she meant. Living in such an oblivious state is probably the easiest thing I'll ever do!" Romeo's anger was resurfacing. The boy obviously had to take it out on whoever was easiest, and that was Natsu.
"Well I have to be Freed. How hard could that be? He doesn't even do anything involving manual labor!" Cue Natsu's fiery rage as well. The pinkette seriously did not want to be Freed for even two seconds. The guy was just so boring!
"Oh no, all I have to do today is cook and be a stick in the mud! I"m already boring so this should be easy!" Freed was actually bashing people today. Woah. (Little did he know that he had actually bashed himself in the process)
"I'm pretty sure all I'm doing today is running through tunnels and being insecure!" Jealla had actually summed up Alzack's life amazingly. This did not, however, mean that Al could not be offended by his tone of voice.
Erza on the other side of the room was in shock at this, having assumed that at least Jellal would be above this sort of behavior. Apparently he was not. She didn't know if that upset her or pleased her- it could go either way honestly.
"I don't even know what I'm doing today! Bixlow, why are you so weird?" Alzack wasn't too angry, really, But he was extremely frustrated. And although the statement hadn't seemed mean, it was. He had questioned everything Bixlow stood for.
"I'm not weird! And I just have to deal with stripping randomly throughout the day. No one wants to see that! No one, Gray!" That was most definitely a direct attack. Mentioning his habit was one way to hit the icy boy straight through the heart. (*Cue awesome music* Shot through the heart and you're to blame….)
"I have to trip over everything today. If I'm in the hospital by the end of this 'exercise' don't bother visiting me!" Aaand Gray was pretty pissed as well. Everyone knew Elfman was a klutz, but at least they were nice enough not to say it out loud!
"I'm supposed to be three different people. What kind of psycho does that!?" And now Elfman was making digs at Loke's multiple personalities. Everyone was crossing lines that could never be uncrossed. Great.
"I have to be an idiot. That can't be hard at all. I get to live in the bliss that is ignorance." Loke was the current personality, and his mood was both hurt and furious. Talking about Lyon in this rude fashion really wasn't helping anything and he knew that. But it made him feel a little bit better so he was justified in his mind.
"My job for today is to work a bar! A bar that I own and don't have to be present for! Seriously, Sparky over here creates most of his own issues!" Lyon wasn't even talking in a joking tone. Oh, and he was right. Laxus owned the establishment, and he was there every single night, working. It wasn't right, and only added stress on to the guy's day.
"I'm a sixteen year old. Why do we even spend time with a high schooler?" Now, there was more that a little bit curiosity in that question. No one really knew why the hung out with Romeo. But that didn't mean that they said anything about it.
"OKAY! No more rude comments, let's get to it! Grab your new daily schedule and make your way to what your current location should be." Meredy had begun trying to break up the fight again. "Wait, why are you in the kitchen, Jellal?" She shot a confused look at the man.
"I make Erza a strawberry cake once a week. Today is that day. We can start the exercise after it's done." The bluenette seemed to have calmed down a bit. But then again, it could always be due to the fact that he was cooking- even if it was in a crappy little bar kitchen with super outdated equipment. Oh, and he hadn't even asked Laxus if he could use the room so…
"Yeah, their exercise can start after I get my cake." With Erza backing up the bluenette, no one could argue with the plan that had been laid out. Not even Natsu was oblivious enough to pick a fight with Erza over her cake.
"Fine, go!" The cake was done and the boys all left. Why oh why did they decide to argue like this?
-Romeo-
"Why does Natsu's schedule actually say that I need to ignore Lucy? What the heck is wrong with him?" Sure, Romeo may have wanted to be like Natsu for years, but he had grown out of that phase. Now, he just thought that his friend(?) was sort of ridiculous. Oh, and now he was talking to himself, great!
"Hey Romeo! Have you seen Natsu?" Lucy Heartfilia had noticed the boy, and deemed it best to ask him about this. Natsu was supposed to meet her after band practice nearly half an hour ago, but he had never showed.
"Nope. I'm Natsu for the day. It's some sort of exercise Meredy has us doing because she doesn't think that we really hate each other." He was totally relaxed in his response. But that didn't stop Lucy from processing the statement.
"What? You guys are all friends." Lucy was bamboozled by his proclamation. As far as she knew, Romeo still half idolized Natsu. If he was angry with him, then something seriously wrong had happened.
"Oh, no we aren't. Today we were rudely interrupted in trying to rip each other apart because Erza wanted some cake. She should've just let us have our fun." Romeo was far from the happy kid he used to be. In fact, he hated everyone and everything in this moment with a firey passion. Of course this passion was reminiscent of the way Natsu hated things which just pissed Romeo off even more than he already had been.
"What happened? And what is that paper?" She wasn't too sure if she should continue spending time with Romeo, or if going to find Natsu was a better option. I mean her dear friend had a habit of picking fights with people much stronger than him. If he had managed to anger Romeo, then the guy could've gone off to fight someone else and ended up in a hospital bed. It was very concerning to say the least.
"Oh this? We had to write down our schedules for the day so that everyone could be the other person." Romeo had explained quickly, hoping to avoid awkwardness. And of course Lucy then realized that no, Natsu was not half-dead somewhere. He was just living someone else's life, much like Romeo had claimed to be Natsu for the day.
"So what does his schedule say he should be doing today? We were supposed to spend the weekend together." Lucy was mentally rolling her eyes at her friend. With the whole boy band thing Natsu had going, he barely had any time to spend with her anymore. As a result, she hadbeen forced to feed Happy more times than not, and the cat had become more of her pet than his. This weekend they were supposed to hang out and then she was going to forced him to spend a couple of hours with the distraught cat. He had probably forgotten though.
"It literally just says ignore Lucy." By the look on the blonde's face, it was clear that she thought he was joking. Oh if only she knew.
"What does it really say?" Lucy had a sense of humor, really she did. And she really didn't find this funny at all. But when the younger boy turned the paper to show her, there it was. In Natsu's messy scrawl, was the one thing she hadn't really wanted to see. 'Ignore Lucy.' And that was that. The yelling would come soon. Seeing as Natsu wasn't available, Romeo would have to become subject to one of her amazing Lucy kicks, followed by a lecture.
Yeah, maybe Natsu did have it sort of rough. I mean those kicks packed more power than Erza's….
-Natsu-
"Why does Freed still live with his parents?" Yup, the pinkette was talking to himself (And now we suddenly know why Romeo was doing so. The kid was really just getting into character guys!). "And why does this say 'try to convince parents to change'? What does that even mean?" The boy was almost positive that the Justine family was all the same. There was no way Freed could have turned out like he did if not for a strict upbringing.
"Hey kiddo! Whatcha doing at our lovely home?" A green haired woman had answered the door when he had knocked. She was wearing jeans, something he had not expected in the slightest. But with that hair, the woman was almost definitely Freed's mom.
"I'm supposed to be Freed for the day." He had expected the woman to yell or kick him out. Afterall it wasn't everyday a stranger showed up at your door insisting he play the role of your son for the day. Natsu had been extremely shocked when instead of running him off, the woman had grabbed him and hauled him into the house, shutting the door behind them.
"I'm Jackie and my husband is James. We're Freed's parents if you didn't already get that." The woman was most certainly not as sophisticated as Freed. This meant the only solution was that her husband was the strict one- or maybe he wasn't Freed's real father. Jackie paused at a door and turned to ask Natsu a question. "So are you guys doing something where you switch personalities? That sounds so young!"
"Sort of. We all got into a fight." Natsu paused, waiting for some sort of yelling. You didn't just march into someone's house, tell them you were fighting with their son, and then expect a continual warm welcome. It would be more likely for them to kick you out on the streets.
"My son got into a fight? Like he was actually attacking people?" Jackie smiled brightly, waiting for confirmation from Natsu. After receiving a nod, she glowed with glee. "Yes! He's finally getting out of his creepy phase! I wish he would just cut his hair but with it long he's better at head banging!" She stopped again. "He doesn't like to go to concerts with us because apparently classical music is better."
"Really? With the way he plays instruments and sings you'd think he listened to music like you guys." Natsu had already gathered that these people were more geared toward hard stuff. There was no way they wouldn't be with the talk about headbanging.
"Oh no. He hates it. I doubt he even knows the difference between my type of music." A man, James he presumed, came out of a random room and into the hallway. Looking at the man,Natsu saw an obvious relation between he and Freed, Somehow the boy looked exactly like both parents at the same time, even though the two looked so different.
"Oh no, he can. He called someone an uncultured swine because they thought screamo and metal were the same thing." Natsu watched in awe as the two adults reached a stage in which they looked like they were ready to burst with pride. Their son, although reluctantly for sure, had actually been listening to them all this time!
"That's great! Our Freed is finally breaking out of the shell he created for himself!" Looks like Freed and his parents had a few disagreements about life philosophy.
"Yeah, but according to this schedule I got from him I'm supposed to spend the day convincing you." Natsu got that part out. He just had no idea what Freed meant by it.
"Oh, Freed bothers us at least once a week and spends the day trying to convince us to act more like him. That's probably what he meant." And that was how Natsu found himself spending the day with Jackie and Jimmy. Or if you were like Freed, Jacqueline and James Justine.
Sure, Freed was sort of a jerk, but Natsu got why he was so uptight all the time. Living in a house with no rules growing up probably meant getting into a lot of trouble. The greenette (A/N: Not sure why this doesn't come up as not a word on spellcheck…) was probably just trying to escape his past with the way he acted now.
-Freed-
Now in order to be Jellal, Freed's schedule was quite specific. It was Jellal's day off, which meant he was to stay out of the restaurant at all costs. Apparently Ultear chased him out of there violently when he showed up unnecessarily. A mental note was made that someone probably needed to do that for Laxus, meaning Freed may have to hire Ultear to do so one of these days. Freed was also supposed to avoid some random fangirl that was mentioned. Of course he should have no problem with that because well, Freed wasn't Jellal.
There was also a section on protecting Wendy and avoiding his cousins/twin. That sounded easy as well. The part that confused him was that it said binge watch on NETFLIX. Who knew someone that lived in a mansion like Jellal did would even bother with NETFLIX? Anyway, Freed spent his day getting hooked on shows. One of these was in fact Gossip Girl. Why, you ask? Well, Jellal and Knightwalker had a weekly ritual. The two watched whatever show they were on. It was currently Gossip Girl. Instead of letting Freed jump in where she was with Jellal, Knightwalker had made him start from the beginning. It wasn't his fault that the plot was so intriguing. But ten episodes later and he was hooked. Being Jellal didn't seem all that hard except for the fact that Knightwalker was as scary as Erza. It made sense too seeing as the girls were nearly identical. But there was no relation- trust him, he had asked repeatedly.
Of course Freed had to reevaluate his assessment of Jellal's life after the cousins and twin unexpectedly showed up at the house. Then of course the elusive Uncle Faust had shown up and actually cried because he honestly couldn't tell his sons and nephews apart from each other. Freed had also heard an endless rant about how the man thought that he might actually love his nephews more than his sons. Now if this is what Jellal had to deal with when he went home, then Freed suddenly understood the man's strange mood flashes. Oh, and let's not forget that Freed now understood what the dreaded phase meant. Let's just say he was scarred for life.
-Jellal-
As Alzack, things hadn't been too bad. The schedule was honestly just searching the tunnels and spending time with Bisca. The tunnels were fun. Well, not all that fun because they were sketchy as fuck, but still. He had a better understanding of the fact that they literally went under every building in the town.
The harder part was spending the day with Bisca. She wanted to do a ton of southern stuff that Jellal was totally clueless about. Sure, he could fluently speak at least ten languages as a result of his uncle, but his fishing skills left something to be desired. Because yes, fishing is how Al and Bisca had planned to spend the day.
Jellal also sort of figured out that Bisca had a humongous crush on Alzack, only rivaled by the man's own crush on her. It left him in a strange position of playing matchmaker, something he had never thought he would have to do in his life. Like ever.
Of course Jellal found himself relating to Al as well. For Alzack, spending the full day with Bisca was similar to if he himself was forced to spend a day with Erza. It was nice, yes, but it hurt a bit as well. So yeah, Al didn't have it easy with his thought to be unrequited feelings.
-Alzack-
Bixlow had written some pretty clear instructions on the paper. Al was to call a number, say 'code 7', and then hang up. According to this paper, it was to make sure Bixlow's 'babies' were cared for. Whatever that meant.
Al spent most of the time he was Bixlow searching around town. He was to check each and every one of the man's hiding spots and make sure that they were still functional. This was an important job. No one knew where Bixlow's hiding spots were. But now, he knew to an extent.
Well, Bixlow knew too but Al was the only outsider. Thank goodness the schedule contained a detailed explanation of each place he was to check. Some of the weirder ones included a hollowed out bookcase in the library, and a metal bush.
No, Bixlow's life was not very hard. He lived uncaring of criticism and knew who he was. But Bixlow did put a lot of work into his weird habits, and Alzack had to respect that.
-Bixlow-
"So you're supposed to be Gray for today?" Ultear obviously knew what was going on. Meredy wasn't her best friend for nothing.
"Yeah." And Bixlow wasn't sure how to deal with Ultear. He had heard horror stories of her on many occasion from four different people. Yes, even Laxus had horror stories.
"I see." At least she wasn't as scary as principal Zeref from high school. Man, the secretary, Mavis, was the only thing that kept the principal from murdering the children. Well, that and his sister, Zeira, who was the activities director.
"So I'm just supposed to sit through your figure skating practice?" It was a simple question. And it was the only thing listed on the schedule. How long was this practice?
"Yes." And it was a gruelling five hours. That poor child.
Ultear was sort of a bitch, that much no one could deny. She was even worse on skating days too, it seemed- especially when she got off work immediately beforehand. Bixlow had come to realize that Gray and Lyon had to deal with the girl so often that they did deserve more respect.
-Gray-
"All this says is to wave to Evergreen and beat Bacchus off with a pole." What the hell? Didn't Elfman do anything normal? And what was this whole nonsense about the pole?
"Hey Gray! So you're my big brother for today?" Lisanna Strauss was all smiles as she stood behind the counter at her family's flower store.
"Yeah, how'd you know?" He was actually curious. Unless Elfman had told him in that split second the boys had walked to the table in, there was no way she could know.
"Erza called Mira. She didn't want her to stress too much about Elfman. She already works two jobs. Stress is the last thing she needs more of." It had been awhile since he had had a simple conversation with Lisanna. It was nice.
"Oh. And what is this Elfman said about a pole?" He was pretty cautious while asking. Who knew what that was all about.
"Oh! Elfman usually has to push Bacchus out of the shop with that pole in the corner. He's always being pretty perverted toward the two of us girls." Lisanna had pointed to what seriously looked to be a wooden ten foot pole. What the heck?
"Yeah, burt it's the only thing that works." The girl had seen his expression upon looking toward the corner in question.
The wooden pole incident brought things into a new light for Gray. Being an- well not an older brother per say, was hard. Ultear had always taken care of herself, never really letting Gray or Lyon do anything for her. Lisanna and Mirajane on the other hand, were happy to have someone worry about them like their brother. And Gray, well he realized Elfman had a lot to worry about.
-Elfman-
Now Elfman had assumed being Loke would be easy. It wasn't. The schedule contained practices for each of his three personalities. There was also a two hour period of time where he was supposed to babysit the Gemini twins. Elfman would be scarred for life because of that little experience. He also fell victim to the anger of Aquarius when he didn't run the errands Loke had promised to do fast enough. Poor thing. Anyway, being three different people was not easy by any means. How did Loke do it everyday?
-Loke-
Being Lyon wasn't as easy as everyone had thought either. For one, Lyon had some pretty strange friends. And built into his schedule was some kind of outing with each of them. He had spent hours trying to remind Toby that he was in fact, a dog. Sometimes it seemed that the man thought himself a cat. Weird. Loke had spent a good hour and a half trying to help Yuka out with his eyebrows as well. The worst part, or the most fun, was wedding planning with Sherry. Lyon's friend was engaged and had somehow dragged her friend into helping out. Some of it was fun. But there were instances when Sherry became Bridezilla. The day was far from what Loke had expected.
Lyon's friends were strange, yes. They had so many personality quirks that Loke couldn't even understand how someone like Lyon managed to spend time around them without getting too annoyed. The silver haired man clearly loved and cared for his friends, that much was easy to see. But he also went out of his way for each of them, something Loke really didn't do himself. It raised a few questions, and spiked his respect for the other man considerably.
-Lyon-
As Laxus, Lyon had gathered all responsibility for the bar. Thank god it wasn't open that night. There was no doubt that Lyon would have ruined the establishment Laxus had worked so hard to maintain. Handling Gildarts was the hard part. Apparently he showed up randomly throughout the week to pay off Cana's tab without her knowing. But he had been sort of pissed off when Laxus hadn't been there. And an angry Gildarts was not something anyone ever wanted to deal with. But lo and behold, Lyon had to. It had taken a good hour as well as a huge payment to replace the broken front door, but the man had left. And Lyon had discovered that Laxus definitely did not create all of his own problems. (Gildarts stopped by for a visit if y'all are wondering)
-Laxus-
Romeo had it easy. He didn't have a job and only had to worry about school. Or so Laxus had thought. Spending the day as the young man had brought some interesting things to his attention. Number one was the fact that his mother was creepy. She had left Romeo and Macao behind when the boy was four. Now she had decided she wanted to reconnect with her son.
Sadly, Romeo wanted nothing to do with her. This resulted in some extremely strange circumstances. She tried to break into the house in any way possible. So yeah, Romeo had it sort of rough. Revelation two had been just how stupid Macao was when he was around Wakaba. Sure, both men were intelligent in their own way, but when you put them together, they were the biggest idiots you'd ever meet. And Romeo had to deal with them every single day.
-Fairy Tail-
"So how did it go? Do you all have some respect for each other now?" Meredy was trying to get them to reflect on their journies.
"I guess so. I didn't realize how scary Lucy could be when you do something she deems the slightest bit inappropriate." Romeo Conbolt would never forget the number of times he had been whacked upside the head today. It was frustrating.
"See, she kicks hard!" Natsu was happy someone else had finally been on the receiving end of Lucy's wrath. "And I understand why Freed doesn't like to talk about home. His parents are so different from him. The only thing I don't understand is why you keep trying to get them to change. They're totally at peace with what you are, so why can't you return the favor?" The boy wasn't as stupid as everyone had thought. He was being insightful.
"That's not something I've ever thought about before." Freed looked like he was pondering something. "Anyway, Jellal has to go through ten hours of girly TV shows every week." True, they were geared toward a primarily female audience. But that didn't exactly mean anything.
"Did you seriously watch Gossip Girl without me?" And there went Jellal. Freed went on to explain that she had started him from the beginning of the show rather than wherever she and Jellal were.
"That's Knightwalker. The first time we started watching stuff together was an accident. Now it's just a tradition." The bluenette looked sort of whimsical for a moment. "I spent the day with Bisca and she has a lot of issues. I respect you for being able to deal with them." There, he had said it.
"It's really not all that bad. Being Bixlow was just sort of odd. I didn't really even get to experience his daily life but wow. You do a lot more than I thought." Alzack was returning the kindness. He was thankful that Jellal had finally realized how often he had to counsel his best friend. It was tough sometimes.
"I do a lot more than that on normal days." No one was shocked the slightest bit by Bixlow's confession. "But I do have to say that I have no idea how you spend five hours straight in an icerink every other week." This was directed at Gray who looked sort of proud after hearing the statement.
"It's not that bad once you get used to it. As Elfman I actually had to beat men away from my 'sisters' with a stick. And it's actually harder than it sounds." Surprisingly, no one was all that put off by the whole stick thing. It just sounded like something Elfman would do.
"You were a MAN today. And Loke is a MAN for dealing with those evil twins." Elfman shivered when he recalled what the terrible terrors had done.
"Ah yes, the Geminis. I probably should have warned you. They do get a bit rowdy. But Lyon, how do you deal with Bridezilla on a weekly basis?" Loke had turned to the silver haired boy. Sherry was going to be in his nightmares for a while.
"Sherry's obsessive tendencies are nothing compared to Chelia's stalker capabilities. You got off pretty easy today. And Cana's dad is scary. How do you even deal with that?" Although Lyon hadn't turned toward Laxus, everyone knew who he was addressing. This also explained the freakishly clean door.
"He showed up today? Is that why I have a new door?" There was a nod in response. "Gildarts is a little off putting sometimes. But I'm used to him by now. And maybe being a high schooler isn't as easy as I thought it had been." That was as close to a declaration of respect they were going to get. Romeo had been recognized.
"Which one was it, Mom, Dad, or Wakaba. Judging by the look I'm going to assume it was all three." And the little dude was right. Romeo had this amazing ability to know when someone had seen his mother, but Laxus had also been exhibiting traits of a day with Macao and Wakaba. The deduction had been simple.
"So, what did I miss at practice today?" Gajeel Redfox had finally been able to escape his work. His first thought had been to come here and see what was going on, having heard something about Gray whacking some guy with a wooden pole earlier. Oh, and he had heard something about Elfman crying as two children strung him up in a tree. Something had definitely gone down that day.
"Well…."
A/N: So I'm just going to say it, I remember literally nothing of what happened in this chapter. I foudn it already completed and just decided to post it. Anything weird or missing was unintentional. I hope someone out there enjoyed this at least a little bit! My goal is to garner a laugh or two from audience members everywhere.
Question Time:
Is anyone out there still reading this?
Will the boys ever get their acts together?
Will I successfully be able to write a super long semi-serious revamped fic about the

Will the tunnels ever get old?
And who the heck did Alzack have to call?
Does Bixlow even have a job?
