Hey guys hope you're all doing well. I'm sad to say but this is the second last chapter to this story :( Anyway hope you enjoy the chapter
The time had come, today was judgement day. Today Hisashi and his men were going to be judged and punished by the very people who suffered at his hands in the first place. Raphael looked like hell as he prepared for the most important battle he ever had to fight yet. None the less he would fight, for his friends, for himself, but most of all he would fight for his family. They were all that mattered now and there was no way in hell he would ever let that sick fucker ever get to them if he had anything to say about it.
Mia sat on her god father's bed watching him with a little bit of fear. She had never seen him so upset and therefore it was making her upset.
"No go," the baby pleaded with puppy dog eyes that broke Raph's heart to see on his baby girl.
The red banded turtle just sighed before he replied, "I gotta go Kicker. We need to stop a bad man from hurting people."
"Raddy hurt?" the baby asked as she looked up at her uncle worried.
"Hey I might get a little banged up but nothin' is gonna stop me from me coming back to you. Got it?" Raph replied as he picked up the tiny girl off the bed and into a tight protective hug before carrying her out of the room.
Raph, his brothers and Tyler said their farewell to Master Splinter before they left the layer to go to Leatherhead. By the time they got to the croc's home the precious bundle in his arms was passed out cold. Raph left the others in the living room while he made his way to the bedroom to find Leatherhead and Heather.
He was so reluctant to hand her over to the doctor but knew he needed to do this for her sake. Before he finally caved, the turtle kissed his god daughter on the head and promised that he would come back for her before carefully handing his baby to Heather.
"It's time my friend. Let us relieve this world yet again of evil scum to protect those we love and those who do not know we even exist," the large crocodile said putting his hand on Raphael's shoulder.
"Gee Leatherhead you should be a motivational speaker," the turtle replied sarcastically.
Leatherhead just chuckled as he kissed his beloved on the cheek before leading the two of them out to the living room only to be met by three other pissed off turtles and a teenage human.
"Let's do this," was all Donny said before driving off for the fight of their lives.
…
"Master Hisashi you asked for me?" the warrior asked kneeling in front of his leader.
"Yes assassin. I want you to be on your guard tonight…something on the wind doesn't feel right," the man replied as he sat in a meditating position in front of his soldier.
"Of course Master but what puts you on edge this night if I might ask?" Assassin asked curiously.
"Judgement day," was all the other man said before standing up and walked out of the room.
…
The turtles parked in an empty lot a bit of a ways off from where Hishashi's hideout was located. Tyler had insisted that they make the rest of the way on foot.
"Tyler why are we parked all the way over here? There's more spots closer to the place which would be a hell of a lot easier to get away," Raph said confused.
"First of all 'cause I don't know about you guys but at no point during this am I going to run away from him. Second it's easier to sneak in from here," he said walking towards the fence.
Before any of them could ask what he was talking about the teenager jumped and flipped right over the 10 foot fence with ease. They quickly followed him and then led them to the building through the maze of wetland before Leonardo took over as leader from there. When they arrived the blue masked turtle turned to the others and nodded to them to go to their positions.
Raphael and Leonardo went through the side, Michelangelo and Donny climbed up the side of the building and in through a window while Leatherhead climbed onto the roof with Tyler on his back and the two of them went through a vent.
…
Getting in was easy enough with only two purple dragons standing guard, security seemed to be none existent in this place. The two brothers hid behind a wall, together they peeked out from behind their hiding spot to see an empty room with nobody in sight. Leo and Raph were quickly on guard since not only had the front entrance appeared empty but the whole building minus where they came in was empty.
"Where the hell is everybody?" Leo asked his brother
"No clue but something doesn't feel right," Raphael replied pulling out his weapons ready for anything.
As if on que the two were ambushed with Hisashi's soldiers. Somehow that bastard was one step ahead of them and knew what they were going to do before they got there. Now the two of them stood back to back surrounded by minions that were more than willing and ready to kill the turtles.
Without delay Leonardo had his katanas out and was easily taking on five at a time. Raph of course had to out due his brother and decided to take on ten at a time which he easily did. Just for extra bragging rights, the red masked brother took down some of the dragons attacking Leonardo. The two of them stood in the middle of a circle of injured and out cold warriors.
"Show off," Leo said walking on followed by a chuckling and smirking Raphael.
…
"Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a spider can. Spins a web, any size. Catches thieves, just like flies, look out! Here comes the-"
"SHUT UP MICKEY YOUR NOT SPIDERMAN," Donny hissed at his baby brother as he climbed onto the balcony.
"Way to kill the dream dude. Why don't you just tell me there's no Santa Clause," the turtle replied as they walked out of the room.
"Just shut up, stay behind me and watch out for people coming behind us," Donny said he didn't mean to get all snappy at Mickey but he wanted both of them focusing on completing the mission and not dying along the way.
"Uhh Donny," he suddenly heard Mickey say nervously.
"What Mickey?" he replied to look at his brother and found an army of purple dragons standing there.
"There's someone behind us," Mikey managed to say before the purple masked turtle pulled his brother's arm and they both bolted down the hall but stopped when the hit a dead end.
"Who the hell makes a hallway that leads to nothing," Donatello said frustrated before turning to a smirking Mikey.
"Michael-"
"Donatello do you like to bowl," Mickey said cutting him off.
Seeing that his brother wasn't catching on the orange masked turtle sat on the floor and pulled his arms and legs inside his shell. He looked at the soldiers running right at them and then to his brother who was smiling just as evilly as he was. He chuckled mischievously as he tucked his head into his hard body, anticipating his brother's actions.
Donatello easily picked up his much smaller brother before he threw his baby brother down the hall like a bowling ball at the oncoming attack. Mickey quickly picked up speed before he crashed through the crowd and into the wall at the other end of the hall.
Donatello raised his arms in victory as he yelled," STRIKE!"
The intellectual turtle looked over to his brother who managed to land on his head and was trying to stand.
"You ok buddy," Donny called over to him.
"Ya never better," Mikey replied before he fell right back on his butt again and looked up to see his brother shaking his head.
"Oh man stop shaking your head the world is spinning enough as it is," the orange masked turtle added giving his head a good shake and stood up with the help of his brother.
Donny made sure his baby brother wasn't suffering from dizziness before they ran off towards the sound of a scream that sounded just like Leatherhead.
…
"Holy shit, where's the end of this thing?" Tyler asked his reptile companion as they slid down the deep, steep vent.
He was quickly answered however when he and Leatherhead dropped through an opening onto solid ground. Leatherhead had quickly wrapped himself around the teen's small frame before they landed.
"Are you alright?" Leather head asked concerned.
"Ya lucky for me I landed on something soft," Tyler joked.
The two wasted no time getting up and began running through the halls. The pair started to grow anxious as they ran when they hadn't bumped into anyone; no guards, no Hisashi, not even the others just halls and the sound of their feet.
Suddenly Leatherhead stopped making Tyler slam into him. When the boy looked up at him to ask for an explanation the reptile quickly covered his mouth as he looked around them.
"Something doesn't feel right here. It seems we're running into a trap of some sort," he explained.
Before Tyler could ask the croc what he meant, Leatherhead suddenly opened up a vent door before he picked up the young man to put him inside.
"Hey what the hell are you doing?" Tyler hissed as his companion closed the door and looked straight ahead as he spoke to him.
"You need to go on ahead and protect the others from the shadows. That is where your strength lies Tyler," he explained.
"What about you?" the boy asked genuinely concerned.
The croc couldn't help smiling at the boy being worried for his wellbeing. Tyler reminded him of the teenage boy that had bought him from the pet store when he was still an ordinary crocodile. He had loved his boy in the short time that they knew each other and his boy loved him.
"Do not worry about me. I will catch up I promise just go," the croc assured the boy and waited to make sure the child was safe before he went off.
At first Leatherhead heard nothing from the vents then was relieved to hear Tyler taking off.
Leatherhead knew what was coming and had no intention of having Tyler get himself killed in a fight that he could never win. He stayed where he was standing until Tyler had left him then turned with a malicious grin on his face when the army of soldiers he had earlier anticipated came and aimed their weapons at him.
The reptile could only scream as he felt the hot metal rip through his scaly skin, suddenly Heather filled his head and the thought of them doing this to her filled his entire body with a new found strength. He jumped at one of the soldier's throats as he swiped some more of them with his tail and before any of them knew it Leatherhead defeated them all just as Michelangelo and Donatello showed up.
"Holy crap man what happened?" Mikey asked walking up to his friend who just shook his head like he was waking up from a daze.
As Donny looked around one question came to mind and said, "Where's Tyler?"
Again Leatherhead didn't say anything this time he only smirked knowingly.
…
Gunshots and screams filled Tyler's ears as he crawled through the vents. He flinched knowing that the cries belonged to Leatherhead. The teen felt guilt at the idea that Leatherhead probably got hurt because of him. All he could do was clench his fists as he continued for hours it seemed through the vents until he came across a room where a man kneeled in the middle of the room in meditation. Knowing exactly who he was right away he couldn't help but think back to what that monster did to his mother two years ago.
FLASHBACK
Tyler got off the bus and walked home the same way he did every day, only this day would be different. As he got closer to his house he noticed two things; one his mother's car was in the driveway and two the front door was wide open.
Suddenly Tyler felt his stomach sink and he ran as fast as he could into the house. The teen thought he was going to be sick when he saw the thick trail of blood going down the hall and around the corner into the living room.
Hesitantly the fourteen year old followed the trail until he was met with the horrific sight of his mother lying face down in a pool in her own blood.
"MOM!" Tyler cried running to her.
As gently as he could the boy turned his mother's body so that he was holding her in his arms. The young teen couldn't help the tears running down his face as he looked into the eyes of his dying mother. The woman smiled back weakly at her son and used the last of her strength to lift her hand up to caress Tyler's cheek.
"My poor boy…I'm so sorry," she whispered.
"Mom please…j-just stop talking…I gotta call 911," the teen replied as his body began shaking.
"Don't bother I don't have long sweetheart," she replied.
Tyler felt even more tears fall down his face at the idea that he was going to lose his mother. He was only fourteen years old, he wasn't ready to let go of his mother yet.
"Tyler, listen to me sweetheart. You need to go, it's not safe here anymore…I'm so sorry," the woman said getting weaker by the minute.
"I'm not leaving you," Tyler said determined.
"You need to Tyler…go to your friend…the turtle," she replied smiling at her son's shocked face.
"Oh come on honey, I saw them the night you saved me when you were ten. Ever since I'd get a glance of him checking on you when I tucked you in at night, saw him on your first day of high school, and I know he protected us when those aliens came...I want you to go somewhere where I know you'll be safe," Tyler's mom told him.
The teen clenched his eyes tight giving his mother the last hug he would ever be able to give her as she died in his arms.
Tyler didn't know how long he held on to his mother's body before he finally released her and laid the woman gently on the floor. After he quickly changed his clothes and packed his bag with his some food, money and a folder full of information his mother had been working on, he called 911 to get someone to find his mom.
Soon after the young boy disappeared with a plan to find his mother's killer and his friend to once again help him seek justice.
END OF FLASHBACK
'Today you will be avenged and finally able to rest in peace Mom' he thought as he pulled out a single wire.
He was about to go in for the kill when the door suddenly slammed open and there standing tall was Raphael.
Raphael and Leonardo's POV
It didn't take them long to get from the bottom floor to get to the hall way that had Hisashi's chamber suit on it. However as they approached it, an even larger amount of soldiers appeared before them.
"How does he afford to pay all these guys?" Raph asked sarcastically.
He pulled out his sais and was about to run at them before his brother stopped him.
"Go and do what must be done," Leo said sternly.
"You sure?" Raph asked.
Leo smirked at his brother and nodded his head before running at the army head on giving his brother a chance to get to the room for the final fight.
'I owe you one for this Leo' Raphael thought as he ran for the room.
Without even thinking the red masked turtle pushed open the doors to the chamber to face the killer that ruined all of their lives.
"I have been waiting for you Raphael," Hisashi said standing up and grabbing a single katanna from beside him and walked towards him.
"Sounds like a personal problem. Tonight I'll be solving one of my own little personal problem after I'm done with you," Raphael said coldly before running at him.
All done for now! Don't forget to review the lady!
