Sinbad poked his head around the corner of the ally way as he saw Yazan land at the entrance then ducked back around and held the golden necklace that was Valefor's Vessel in his hand. He new that they would only have one shot at this and didn't want to mess it up, "The Rukh here are acting strange," Sinbad heard Yazan mutter to himself.
Through a small gap Sinbad could see Freya creep closer to where Yazan was standing.
Freya slowly and quietly crept closer and closer to where her target stood then pointed her short silver staff in his direction, "Destruction," she called quietly as she formed multiple balls around Yazan and sent them flying towards him.
Freya couldn't help but giggle a little at the expression that appeared on his face when the balls appeared around him, "Now Sinbad!" she yelled as Sinbad jumped out of his own hiding spot in his Valefor Djinn equip and shot small ice spears at him.
Freya and Sinbad stood at each end of the alley and waited for the smoke to clear, "That must have done something!" Freya stated as she pointed her staff once again at Yazan's figure, she saw the black Rukh flutter around violently as he dashed towards Sinbad who only just managed to dodge out of the way.
"Sinbad!" Freya shouted in concern,
"I'm alright," he called back as he flew around and landed next to Freya.
Sinbad swapped into his Baal Djinn equip as Yazan turned to face them once more, "Pathetic! Did you honestly think that, that would be enough to kill me!?"
"Thalg Thalgeyya!" Freya shouted as several ice tornadoes appeared.
Sinbad flew into the sky and looked down at the tornadoes that Freya had created, "This ends now, Extreme magic!" a large eight-pointed star appeared beneath him Freya saw this and jumped backwards out of the way, putting up a borg just in case, "Baalalark Inqerad Seika!"
…
The Rukh were fluttering around to no end as a tall, thin man with long blond hair which had been put into a braid stepped out of a small wooden house, his pale blue eyes shone in the small light that illuminated from the house, "What exactly is going on up there? The Rukh are so energetic," he looked into the darkness that seemed to go on forever.
…
A fire broke out in the city and scorched everything that stood before it, as the smoke climbed high into the air Sinbad covered his mouth and coughed, "Sinbad!" Freya yelled as she flew up to where Sinbad was, "What were you thinking there a civilians here," she pointed at the ground where she could see a few figures running for their lives from the fire and chaos.
"Sorry," he lowered his head and looked where Yazan once was, "But at least I managed to get rid of him," he pointed at scorched corps that lay on the ground.
Sinbad and Freya landed on the ground next to the corps and Sinbad let his Djinn equip fade away, "That was a little overkill Sinbad," Freya knelt down and put her hand near the corps, feeling the heat that came off of it.
Steam started to pour out of the burnt corps and Freya stepped back, "What is this!?" Freya back off a little more as the corps seemed to explode and was replaced with a small doll.
"I get the feeling we haven't seen the last of Yazan," Sinbad said as he placed a hand on Freya's shoulder.
"Yeah," her voice was soft as she turned and pulled Sinbad into a hug, "I never really got the chance to thank you for saving me from having to marry him,"
Sinbad smiled, "It's alright," he stroked her long, fair hair and hugged her back.
…
(1 month later, Sindria trading company)
"Sinbad!" Jafar called from down the hall, "Get your lazy butt out of bed already!"
Even though he was still half asleep Sinbad could here Jafar's enraged voice echoing down the hall and so he pulled the pillow over his head trying to muffle the noise. Ever since Sinbad had blown up half the city with his extreme magic, he and the rest of the company were made to help with the repairs. Since he had been so busy with helping out with the repairs he hadn't seen Freya at all in the past month.
"I wonder what she's doing right now?" he asked himself as he got out of bed, put on some cloths and prepared himself for Jafar to barge through the door at any moment.
"Siiiiiiiin!" Jafar threw the door open, "What's taking you so long! You were the one who destroyed the city therefore it is your responsibility to fix it!" Sinbad could practically see a dark aura leaking from Jafar, "Plus there's also the fact that we'll be departing for Sasan tomorrow!"
"Yeah, yeah I know, I'll be out in a moment Jafar," Sinbad looked out the window that faced the direction of the Tristo Manor.
Jafar saw the look on Sinbad's face and immediately calmed down, "It's been a while hasn't it? Sin," he looked at his Lord, "What exactly are your intentions with her?" he asked, his voice now in it's normal tone.
Jafar could see a small smile appear on Sinbad's lips, "Well…"
…
Nimr ran down the hallway of the manor balling his eyes out his blonde hair that was tied into a small pony tail trailed behind him, "Big Siiiiiiiiiiis!" he cried as he jumped into Freya's arms.
"Nimr?!" she said in surprise, "What's wrong," she place the 14 year old boy on the ground and knelt down to his height. Zaki was standing next Freya as Nimr tried to dry his eyes, "Is it true… what Father… said?" he spoke between sobs.
Freya smile, "Yeah, I'm sorry but this is something that I've wanted for a long time now," she closed her eyes and pictured Sinbad standing there, "Even if I didn't know it at first… I've got to go," Nimr continued to cry as Freya pat him on the head, "Don't worry Nimr, I promise that I'll come back here one day," she smiled kindly to show her sincerity.
"Gee you're such a cry baby Nimr!" a new voice came from further down the hallway.
"Barirah…" Freya stood up and looked at her little 10-year-old sister, "That's not very nice Barirah, how many times do I need to tell you to be kinder to Nimr!" Freya now sounded a little frustrated.
Freya could see that Barirah's big brown eyes were filled with sorrow as she walked up to her big sister and grabbed the side of her dress, "Sis… don't go," she said softly.
Zaki picked Barirah up off the ground and hugged her tightly, "Come on Barirah, Nimr," he looked at each of them in turn, "We need to let Freya get ready," he place Barirah back on the ground, "Now go, I need to talk to her in private,"
Freya stood back up as Barirah and Nimr ran off down the hallway, "What's this about?" she tilted her head in confusion.
…
The day had past slowly for Sinbad but it was finally over as he collapsed at his desk, the moon had already risen high into the sky, "Well maybe next time you'll think twice before using your extreme magic in the middle of a city!" Jafar stated out right as he place a cup of tea next to Sinbad.
"Ok I get it already Jafar, I won't do it ever again alright?" he looked at Jafar with tired eyes.
Jafar sighed, "So are you all set for the departure tomorrow?" Jafar questioned.
"Yeah… just a few more things that need to be sorted," Sinbad took a sip of tea, 'I was hoping to see Freya one last time before leaving but I never got the chance to see her… what a let down,' he thought to himself.
"Well, whatever the case make sure you get plenty of rest tonight ok," Jafar said as he left the room.
Sinbad sighed as he took another sip of tea and started filling out the documents that were in front of him.
The hours ticked by as Sinbad finished the last of the paperwork that needed to be done before he left. Sinbad sighed again and looked at the now empty tea cup, his thoughts wondering to Freya, "I wonder what Freya is doing right now?" he looked at the door as though he expect her to walk through it any minuet now.
"Well now, I wonder what?" Sinbad turned his head towards the open window as none other then Freya jumped through it.
"Freya!?" Sinbad jumped up from his seat in the surprise.
Freya smiled and waved a hand as she place a cloth bag on the floor, "Hiiiiiiiiii!" she said teasingly.
"What are you doing here?!" Sinbad questioned as he walked over to her.
Freya lent back against the wall and pushed her hair out from her eyes, "Why do you think I'm here Sin?" she stepped forward and pulled him into a hug, "I'm coming with you of course! After the battle a month ago I spent a lot of time negotiation with him and he agreed to let me come with you!"
Sinbad was shocked, "Really? What made him change his mind about me?"
Freya stepped backwards, "Well he said that because you save me from Al Thamen and because you helped save the city he finally saw you as the man you really are and that I would be allowed to accompany you as a representative of the family!"
Sinbad picked up the bag that Freya had put down on the floor, "Really… hey did you tell him about the night in the garde…" Freya put a finger over Sinbad's lips to hush him.
"I haven't told anyone about that…" she then removed her finger, "It's just not the right time yet," Sinbad smiled, "Yeah, I guess you right…"
…
The next day came quickly, Sinbad and Freya went down to the harbor together walking side by side, "Eh, Freya?" Hinahoho commented with confusion as the two arrived.
Sinbad stepped forward, "Yes, from today onwards Freya will be accompanying us as a representative," he stated as the Freya stepped onto the ship first to find her room.
"Really, is that really all she is to you?" Drakon asked, "Is she just a representative? Or is she…"
"She will be representing the Tristo family from this day onwards," Sinbad interrupted him mid sentence as he followed Freya onto the ship.
"Just a representative huh," Jafar paused a moment, "Looks like he's finally growing up," he said to himself recalling the conversation they had, had the previous day.
…
(The previous day)
"Well…" Sinbad began, "She is unique… I don't think I've ever felt this way about one woman before," Jafar looked shocked, "For some reason she's special to me… I…" his voice became softer so that Jafar could hardly hear him, "I want her to be mine… I will…" at this point Sinbad's voice became so soft that he couldn't hear how that sentence ended, but he could guess, what Sinbad wanted was…
…
And so one year passes by as Freya and Sinbad step off the ship, and onto a deserted island in the middle of the south sea.
