Youngbountygirl: Here's my chapter! This will get a bit intense, being that Yugi and the others are trying to move the historical figures to a safer distance. Seto will still take part somewhat, just not with everyone.

The Tenma brothers led the group down the busy hall where many of the employees froze at what they were doing, turned, and looked at the rushing group. They had to hurry out of the building to escape from the area they were currently at. The group didn't even bother taking the elevator, being as it was faster to run up two floors up the steps to the lobby floor.

While running up the stairs, Alexis tripped and fell, fearing of landing on the concrete stairs until Tea caught her and pushed her up the stairs.

"Thanks!" Alexis said.

"Your welcome," Tea replied.

Everyone entered through the door to the lobby floor, making a turn and rushing out of the Kaiba Corp. building and outside, where it was close to the sun setting. They all made their way to the limo, which was parked beside the building, then almost jumped into the limo. The limo drove off right after the last person entered inside it.

"So, where will you be taking us?" Victoria asked the Tenma brothers.

"Your best bet is the island where Duelist Kingdom was previously held at. There, we can create a plan of some sort... I hope you made a plan," Yako said.

Alexander stated something in some sort of Ancient Greek language, then Henry nodded, saying, "Alexander's right. We need to get to the Prime Minister. We already lost our rook."

"Rook?" Gekko questioned.

"Henry makes battle plans based on chess pieces," Yugi replied. "Apparently, Kaiba was the rook. Go figure."

"Henry? I thought that was your other self, Atem."

"Do I look like a tan bacon midget preteen, wearing a dress? I don't think so," Henry stated, pointing at himself.

"You wear a lot of black," Gekko stated as Henry facepalmed.

"You do look a lot like the Nameless Pharaoh. In fact, I thought you were at first, until I heard people calling you Henry," Jaden said.

Henry sighed, then smirked, "Atem can't age himself to 52 and isn't a father of seven."

"No way, SEVEN KIDS!?" Jaden almost cried out, his jaw dropping.

"I thought you had four kids," Yugi said.

"Three of them died early," Henry corrected. "Children die often before reaching puberty and it was normal to die at an early age in my day, before more advanced medicines began to arise. Even my first successor Arthur couldn't make it before my death. Perhaps, if he did, he would've been one of the council members."

"For some reason, when you say that, I keep thinking the legendary King Arthur."

"That's because I named him after King Arthur himself. I didn't want to name my first son after me, like most kings do, I wanted to name him after one of the greatest and bravest kings of England. I even voted for him to be one of the council members and will still vote for him on the next decade."

"So, that's how this highest council thing works? Each kings slash queens of the particular era vote two among themselves to decide business and stuff of whatever needs to be done like now with Shrone?" Yugi asked.

"Correct. We are allowed to vote for ourselves, but we can vote for other kings or queens we find more deserving of the title. Usually, the greatest legendary kings are voted in."

"You seem surprised about being voted as one of the members."

"That's because the only history I have is being a Lancasterian King, who defeated Richard the third during the civil War of the Roses. I can name many good kings and queens, my own granddaughter even, that have a legendary reputation bigger than mine. At times, I don't really understand why they continually vote me in."

"You have other kings and queens voting for you, so maybe they're not looking by how famous you've become. Royals being legends depends on the people's prospective, but to a royal, he might see it from a different prospective. Take our Prime Minister for instance. We see him as a provider, but others like him and before him see him as a man with only a third of the responsibilities for an entire country. I don't know how England in your day made decisions, but I can guess that the other kings and queens judge you as a council member based on the decisions you made in your situation and how you ran your country."

"Perhaps. I did ask those why they voted for me. I've only heard it was because I managed to bring peace to England," Henry stated, then showed a slight smirk.

Suddenly, the limo was hit and almost tipped. Everyone hung on as Jaden's eyes burst into gold, crying out, "we've got real company and not the assassin with a gun kind!"

Yugi quickly felt the dark energy too, feeling that the attack came from the sky. He pushed the window roof open, seeing an almost black dragon with gray wings that showed huge holes in them, making Yugi wonder how it could fly, and a foggy storm surrounding it. Jesse could see the dragon off the corner of his eyes too.

"Holy crap, it's Darkstorm Dragon!" Jesse cried out as the dragon made a huge whirlwind from its mouth, trying to hit the limo.

"Someone likes to give us a rude welcome!" Henry glared, hopping to the ground on his back, sliding to where the window was across from him, then crossed his fists and shot them toward the window. A dark red whirling beam shot from his fists like a rope, then wrapped around the dragon's feet. He took a hold of the red whirling beam and yanked the dragon by the feet.

Julius got on his feet and began climbing the red whirling beam like he was climbing a rope. Alexander began shouting aloud in Ancient Greek angrily.

"What the hell is he doing!?" Alexis cried out.

"Being stubborn, that's what he's doing!" Victoria glared. The limo began turning to avoid the attacks.

"At this point, this thing is going to crash!" Gekko cried out.

"We'll get rid of the stupid thing!" Henry promised.

"We're almost at the docks, Gekko!" Yako pointed out.

Julius began fighting the Darkstorm Dragon with his sword, trying to reach its heart or some sort of weak spot. The dragon finally began weakening and hovering lower toward the ground. He began sliding down the red whirling beam as soon as the limo stopped at its destination. He ran out of the car with everyone else.

That was when everyone began seeing two more dark dragons and each one of them were shooting beaming fire at the crew. Jaden quickly got out his Neos just as Yugi gave him a Black Luster Soldier card. Jaden nodded, then summoned out Elemental HERO Neos and Black Luster Soldier.

"Protect us!" Jaden shouted as Neos and Black Luster Soldier flew into the air and began fighting off the dragons.

A dark shield began covering the crew as Victoria stated, "I will use a shield to protect us from these filthy creatures!"

Julius and Alexander took their bows and arrows, shooting the dragons with them, as Yugi muttered, "I hope we don't get arrested for this."

"Hey, it's illegal to carry wea- OH MY GOD!" A sailor shouted before seeing the dragons and running from them, screaming like a girl.

Everyone hopped onto two speed boats, driven by each Tenma brother. Jesse hung on as one of the dragons began hovering over the boat he was at. It looked like Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord. It shot a lightning blast from its mouth as Jesse screamed bloody murder, his eyes glowing an orange-red color as the blast hit only him, instead of the boat, and electrocuted him. He screamed even louder before being knocked unconscious and pulled up by Tea to keep him from falling off the boat.

Yugi got out the shotgun he used earlier inside Kaiba Corp. and had been keeping it around his back, and then shot the dragon from behind at the other boat. It hit the dragon, who let out a loud screech before being shot several more times and falling to its doom, splashing into the water. The speed boats avoided the wave that came after the splash as Yugi reloaded the gun.

"Son of a bitch doesn't do well against normal type monsters looks like," Yugi smirked.

"Gah!" Jaden cried out, clutching onto his ribs. "Darkstorm Dragon took out Neos!"

"I'll get out two more monsters," Yugi said, getting out his deck and taking out Dark Magician Girl.

"Use this too," Jaden said, showing his Elemental HERO monster Flamed Wingman. Yugi nodded, then took Elemental HERO Flamed Wingman and summoned it and Dark Magician Girl. "Does stuff like this happen everyday?"

"Usually, when I'm at work."

"Uh-huh."

Dowager began turning black as night, a dark fog surrounding the two boats as they continually sped, Yako and Gekko being able to see where they were going in the dark fog to their surprise. Yugi stared at the ancient Chinese queen, who seemed to never be happy usually. Yugi then felt a sharp pain from the defeat of Dark Magician Girl. He made a crying yelp, trying to regain himself.

"This darkness should keep us from the dragons. Hopefully, we'll be able to make it to the island without anyone knowing where you are," Yako said at the driver's seat.

"Right," Yugi nodded, giving out a sigh. "So, how long are we going to be sitting in the dark?"

"Long time. Time varies from 10 minutes to hours," Dowager replied.

It was only about five minutes before Yugi and Jaden felt the signal from their summoned monsters that the dragons were destroyed. Black Luster Soldier and Elemental HERO Flamed Wingman returned to their cards and were returned back to their owners. Everyone had finally approached the island, which took an extra 10 minutes, right after the dark fog deceased and Dowager was no longer black as night.

Jaden hopped off the boat and saw Jesse carried over Henry's back passed out. He ran to the ancient king frantically.

"What happened!?" Jaden cried.

"One of the dragons attacked us and ended up attacking Jesse instead, when he conjured some sort of shield," Henry replied.

"But Jesse doesn't have magic... at least I don't think he does," Jaden stated, then seemingly unsure.

"He probably knows not. This world has forgotten its traditions and past. It's no wonder Shrone can easily manipulate your king!" Dowager stated.

"Didn't Shrone attack Southwestern Asia last?" Yugi asked.

"He has, but they were weak in magic. At one point, Shrone would not dare touch either of us. We knew the arts of magic and passed it to our children and children's children. Now, even the most magical nations has forgotten the arts as well. They are nothing more than legends and fairytales. Even the young ones of your generation do not know the great power they possess," Dowager said, furrowing her eyebrows. "Soon, even the few that do know like you will know nothing."

"We should get inside and think of a plan to stop Shrone," Tea pointed out. Yugi nodded and everyone walked toward the castle where Pegasus once hosted the grand tournament.

On the way, Yugi walked beside Dowager and said, "I have learned about many of these people like King Henry, Queen Victoria, Julius Ceaser, and even Alexander the Great... though, I haven't heard much about you, except that you once ruled China before their government changed. I only know you as the last Emperor or Empress to rule China under its dinisty traditions."

"And I do not regret holding true to that. Traditions are important Yugi, they take us back to how we started, what we once were. Without them, we do not know why we stand strong and we never grow or learn from our ancestors. I will bet that you know how I got this power or even what it is."

"No... I do not."

"Hm," Dowager smirked, then changed her lips to a frown. "They are the powers of yin and yang, yami and hikari as you call it. We each hold a soul of darkness and of light. Of course, the Japanese never held to our traditions, though their warriors were powerful. They held swords of great strength and used the combinations of weapons and magic. They did not control the elements of dark and light, but they held the elements of each element: water, fire, earth, and wind. While we rivaled each other, we also balanced one another. The king of either of our countries were the most powerful in their arts in all the world. Others would only depend on science and fighting with weapons alone. Do you know the history of your country, Yugi?"

"I have. I guess I find more interest in other world's cultures more than from Japan, I suppose."

"Keep to your history, Yugi. The knowledge you possess about your country is more important than you may realize. After all, part of it is hidden behind everything you see, even the cards you hold in your hand."

"You mean Duel Monsters?"

"They have an element at the corner of it: light, dark, earth, water, wind, and fire."

"You are right about that," Yugi said, wondering something in his mind. "Though, I don't think our traditions are as hidden as you think."

"Oh?" "We still have children learning our old fighting techniques used for thousands of years and we teach them about our previous culture. We just have a tendency of trying things new and building up. I know I always tell Atem stories of my adventures with the Pharaoh. I know he might inherit the powers the Pharaoh gave to me and I want him to learn how to use those powers. Though, it isn't to say I'm going to keep him from trying new things or choosing to not use them at all."

"Him choosing to not use his powers could effect his children too. Remember that. I have tried to save China from making that mistake, but I could not keep it from falling back on what a great nation it once was."
