Thank you to everyone who reviewed/favorited last chapter.

I'm actually surprised to be able to release it this early. I wrote it surprisingly quick on my phone.

well, enough of that, onto Chapter 12!

Chapter 12

Natsu

"Josè," greeted Makarov venomously, "To what do I owe the pleasure?" He said this sarcastically.

The man on the other side of the lacrima looked no less enthused. He had a thin mustache, pointed eyes, and rather long eyelashes. His hair was a blackish red.

"Trust me, if it were up to me you wouldn't be involved." Warned Josè.

Makarov raised an eyebrow, "Involved in what?"

Josè sighed, "The magic council wants our two guilds to team up and go to Galuna Island."

"Galuna Island..." Makarov murmured.

"Yes, apparently some fishermen ended up there and were allegedly attacked by some Demons." Informed Josè, "However, that's not all."

Makarov remained silent, waiting for Josè to finish.

"Grimore Heart has be confirmed to be on the island as well!"

Makarov's eyes widened in shock, "Grimore Heart!"

The usual bustling guild of Fairy Tail was silenced by the outburst.

"We have only confirmed that there were two mages from that Guild. Reports show that they are significantly younger then expected." Continued Josè.

"How much younger?" Inquired Makarov.

"They are approximately 14," informed Josè, "It is for that reason that Phantom Lord will only send in two mages."

"JOSÈ!" yelled Makarov, "Just because there are only two young mages doesn't mean you can take them lightly by only sending in two mages!"

"Relax Makarov," said Josè, "It's not like I'm sending in foot soldiers. I will be sending in S-Class mages. I know how fearsome Grimore Heart is. I will not take them lightly."

Makarov remained silent.

"I don't care how many mages you send, but make sure that they meet my men at Hargeon Port tomorrow at seven." Instructed Josè as the lacrima went blank.

"Master..." Began Erza.

"Erza," answered Makarov, "I need you to take this mission. I want you to get together a well suited team. I'm sorry, but unless Mystogan returns, I'm afraid you will need to pick a team of non-S-Class mages."

"Thats fine Master," responded Erza, "And I believe my little brother will be enough."

"ERZA!" Yelled Makarov, "I just told Josè that it was not okay to only send to mages and that is what you intend to do!?"

Meanwhile I was dancing for joy that I could go on this high level S-Class mission.

"Natsu and I make an excellent team," pointed out Erza, "plus Josè has a point, it's only two mages. If we-"

Erza was cut off by the communications lacrima going off again.

Makarov shushed Erza and answered, "Hello, you have reached Fairy Tail, Makarov speaking."

"Hello Makarov," said a commanding voice.

Makarov's eyes widened and he dropped the ball.

"Makarov-dono can you please pick up the lacrima?" Came a younger voice.

Lucy looked down at the lacrima and gasped.

"Oh...hi Lucy!"

I peered down at the lacrima and saw a blue haired man with a strange red tattoo going down the left side of his face waving at Lucy happily.

"Joined Fairy Tail?" Inquired the man.

"Yes, Seigrain I had joined Fairy Tail." Deadpanned Lucy

"Seigrain, you can deal with your personal life later," commanded another man, "For now we need to ask of you a favor."

Makarov picked up the orb, "You want us to team up with Phantom Lord, go to Galuna Island, take care of some demons and subjugate Grimore Heart?"

"..." The council was quiet.

"Josè called you didn't he?" I inquired a woman standing next to Seigrain, Ultear.

"Yeah," responded Makarov with a sigh, "However I should report that he plans to only send two mages."

"Against Grimore Heart?" Asked Seigrain.

The chairman quickly interjected, "How many mages are sent do not concern us. If Phantom Lord believes two will be enough, then that is fine."

"How many are you sending?" Inquired a short old man, Yajima.

"I only have one S-Class available, Erza, and she also believes that she will only need one partner."

Yajima smiled, "Then let her. Your guild is strong, they can handle themselves."

"Yajima, this is Grimore Heart!" Yelled Makarov.

"If I may?" Interjected Ultear, "Grimore Heart is the strongest guild in the Balam Alliance. If this operation is important, then do you really think they would send kids in to fight?"

"I guess you're right, it's not like its the seven kin." Mumbled Makarov.

Ultear gave out a hearty laugh, "Yeah,"

Makarov sighed, "Alright, well thank you for the heads up."

"You're welcome," said Seigrain.

The lacrima then went blank again.

"So can we go alone?" I asked.

A tick mark appeared on Master's forehead, "Fine,"

"Yeah!" I yelled, jumping for joy.

"Just be careful will ya?" Warned Master.

Both Erza and I bowed, "Of course,"

I looked over to Lisanna. She still had the bandage over her forehead.

"I'll find someone else to help me," she said, waving me away, "Be careful."

I smiled and walked towards Erza, who was already headed for the door, "Don't worry Lisanna, we'll be fine!"

With one last look back, I saw Lucy stepping behind the counter to help her.

The Next Day- Hargeon Port- 6:50am- Natsu

I yawned from my seat on the bench at the dock, "Where are they?"

Erza was sitting next to me in her usual armor, gazing at the boat we would be taking to the island, "Give them some time. They're guild is farther away."

"...so?"

Erza sighed.

"Natsu?" Came the voice of Happy, "Erza?" He held up a fish, offering to share it.

"No thanks buddy it's all yours." I said with a smile.

Erza nodded in agreement.

CHOMP! Happy ate the fish.

We suddenly heard footsteps from behind us. We turned around and faced a man with half white and half black hair. On his face were three horizontal black lines that crossed his nose. He wore a red type gi with red fur on top. He had a sword strapped to his waist.

Next to the newcomer was his partner. He had long black, spiky hair and had iron studs across his face. He wore a sleeveless black tunic.

"Phantom Lord?" Inquired Erza.

The ninja-like mage nodded his head, "Fairy Tail?"

"The one and only!" I gloated.

"Good we don't need anymore fairies." Remarked the other mage.

I jumped up and butted head with him, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly that, we don't need you pathetic fairies!" Returned the Iron man.

My hands erupted into flames, "Oh really?"

His hand up to his elbow turned into an iron sword.

We stood like this for a few seconds before I said, "You're a..."

"Dragon Slayer," he finished.

"Kurogane?" I inquired.

He nodded, "Salamander?"

I nodded my head.

In an instant my other hand was erupted into flames, and the flames were getting stronger.

Likewise, the sword Kurogane had manifested sprouted spikes and began to rotate in a chainsaw-like manner.

I cocked my fist.

He threw back his chain-saw.

I punched my self.

Erza punched him.

"ERZA!" I yelled.

"TOTOMARU!" Kurogane yelled.

"We don't have time for this," said Erza a little aggravated, "And you, don't you dare try and hurt my brother again!"

"WHAT!?" Screamed Totomaru, "How about you not try to hurt Gajeel!?"

"Excuse me, but I believe I was in the right to protect my younger brother." Pointed out Erza.

"So I was not in the right to protect my superior?" Retorted Totomaru.

"Gajeel is an S-Class of your guild, Natsu is not." Informed Erza, "I'm sure Gajeel could handle it."

Totomaru's eyes narrowed, "Who's to say Natsu couldn't handle himself, he is a Dragon Slayer after all."

"Dragon Slayer or not, Gajeel is of higher rank than Natsu." Retorted Erza as she requiped a blade.

"You fairies shouldn't have come." He unsheathed his sword.

The two ran at each other and clashed swords, dueling with each other for a few minutes.

Erza

Totomaru was panting, "You're good Scarlet."

"Is that the best you've got?" I asked cockily, completely unaffected by fatigue, "Let's go Nat-"

I looked around and saw that Natsu, Happy and Gajeel were all missing.

"Where are they?" Wondered Totomaru.

I looked toward the boat, but saw that the lights were still off on it, the captain had yet to arrive.

"I think I found them." Said Totomaru as he pointed up away from the dock.

Sitting in the window of a restaurant was Natsu, Gajeel and Happy. Gajeel was laughing as Happy ate a fish and Natsu seemingly told a story.

I marched up to the restaurant and walked in. Totomaru followed.

"What are you doing?" I questioned.

"Eating," answered Natsu as a waitress came over for them to place their order.

"We have a mission." I reminded him.

"The captain doesn't get in 'till eight." Informed Gajeel.

"Oh," I said

A moment later, I took a seat next to Natsu and Happy and Totomaru sat by Gajeel.

"What may I get you?" Asked the waitress politely, having seen things settled down.

Thank you for reading. The poll is now closed. I have decided to not have Natsu learn it. The main reason being, as I have been planning out the future of the story I have come to the realization that all of the scenarios I have put together have no need for Natsu to know Requip.

It is for that main reason that Natsu will not learn it. Sorry to anyone who was hoping he would learn it.

P.S. For anyone who cares to know, the poll turned out pretty equal on both sides.

Please Review!

Galuna Island

A maniacal laugh rang out from the top of a temple, where several cult-like men wearing identical robes and masks were chanting over a large purple magic circle. Two 14 year old kids, one male and one female, stood off to the side watching them. The blonde haired boy was laughing like a lunatic, and the pink haired girl with gold earmuffs was sitting next to him sucking on a lollipop.

"Approximately Five Days left," said the girl in a robotic voice over the laughing of her partner.
