Please don't hate me!

I know it seems like years since I've updated! I sincerely apologize. I've been so busy with finals and just life, you know? But praise the Lord above, I survived first semester and finals.

This will probably be the last chapter of Tea Stain (except for an epilogue if you guys want one). This has been such a great run! I love this story so much and what it has become. I want to thank all of you for being such lovely readers and I'm sorry for all the stuff I've put you through with the waits.

I'll be starting a series of unrelated Young Justice fics sometime soon, so if you like Young Justice, feel free to come back anytime!

XOXO

Necessities

"Where are the others?" Raven swiped a hand underneath her eye, catching a stray tear.

"Robin's in his room, he hasn't left it since," Starfire sniffed, "since you…you went except for food and missions and…and Cyborg's in the garage."

"And…and what about Beast Boy?" Raven asked quietly.

"Raven, Beast Boy left."

It was a less than joyous reunion to say the least. There were quite a few tears, courtesy of Starfire, and a couple awkward hugs between the boys and Raven. Cyborg was surprisingly cold.

"He probably blames you for Beast Boy leaving," Knowledge explained.

Raven sighed. "I gathered that much." She was in her room unpacking all her stuff preferring to do it by hand so she'd have time to think. Tears gathered in her eyes when she picked up the next item. It was a picture frame given to her by Beast Boy last Christmas. Inside was a picture he had taken on one of the team bonding trips to the park Robin always made mandatory. Beast Boy had finally saved enough for that stupid iPhone he'd been wanting and had become obsessed with taking selfies with it. It was one of those rare occasions where the lighting was just perfect and Raven was actually smiling. He leaned in and took the picture before she found time to compose herself. When she unwrapped it for Christmas, she scowled at him, but it had been sitting on her dresser since, until she packed up everything and left three weeks ago.

And it was there on her still unmade bed with tears streaming uncontrollably down her face and light bulbs smashing all over the tower that she had an epiphany. She loved him. Raven Roth loved that stupid, obnoxious, adorable Beast Boy and couldn't live, she couldn't be happy without him. She needed him. Beast Boy was one of her necessities of life. This was one thing Knowledge couldn't tell her."That's what I've been trying to tell you!" Knowledge said. Nevermind.

"I know what I must do," she whispered. She quickly unpacked the rest of her items and sat down to meditate. She used her locator spell to find him. Beast Boy was living on the outskirts of Jump City in a crappy apartment.

Immediately, she was outside his apartment door, having transported there. Raven reached up to knock on the door, but stopped herself. "What am I doing here? How do I know he even wants to see me? What do I even say?" she asked herself.

"Don't worry you'll know what to say! Love will show you the way!" Love giggled with joy.

"Oh great. Thanks, Love. You're a big help." Raven sighed. "It's now or never." She knocked on the door.

"Great timing, how much do I owe…you're not the pizza man," Beast Boy stopped short.

"Um, hey, Beast Boy. I'm…I'm back."

"I can see that, uh. What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you. Obviously, this was a mistake. I'm sorry for bothering you," Raven turned to leave. Of course he doesn't want to see me. I was the one who left him.

"No, wait. Would you like to come in?" Raven nodded and stepped through his door. She could smell his sweet, distinguishable Beast Boy smell when she passed by him.

"So, how have you been?"

"Good, good. You?"

"Fine," Beast Boy replied. The silence that ensued was terrifyingly awkward. "Why'd you go?" he asked in a voice so small, Raven almost didn't hear. He looked at her with sad eyes. "Why'd you leave me?" he asked again.

"I was…I was afraid, afraid of what you were doing to me. You were tearing down every single wall I built. I made those walls to protect myself and everyone around me from my uncontrollable powers, and you…you didn't even care. You were unafraid of the danger I posed to you and you still liked me. Even with all the debris falling down around you, you still stayed. All my life, I've been defined by my destiny and my father and you didn't care. You saw me for me. You taught me how to love." Now the tears were falling and the words were coming and there was no way to stop it. "I didn't mean to let you in, but when I realized how close you had gotten when you dumped that stupid cup of tea on me, I tried to push you out and found that I couldn't. I can't let you go."

"I can't let you go either, Raven. Every day since we met, I've tried to make you laugh. You're a challenge and I love it. Life's too easy and boring without you. You make everything better and more interesting." Beast Boy stepped forward and grabbed her face in both his hands and kissed her. Ignoring the dangerous projectiles flying around them, Raven wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned into the kiss.

She broke it off and laughed through the tears as she looked around the room. There were pages ripped out of books fluttering around the room, chairs on their sides, and large cracks through the windows. Beast Boy leaned his forehead against hers and chuckled. "Remind me to glue everything down before we kiss again."

And just like that they realized; they'd left a stain on each other's heart, kind of like the tea stain on Raven's shirt.

Surprisingly easy, huh? Yeah a little anticlimactic, but I thought they deserved a happy ending. I've put them through enough already. Review and let me know if you want an epilogue!
