Me-well guys this is it, the last chapter of Invisible, and finally what you've guys have been waiting for instead of screaming at your computers like you've probably have been throughout the whole story. I tend to do that a lot when my favorite character dies, or if two people like in this story keep fighting instead of being together. It's frustrating but the wait is over, but like I said before, it will be a time-skip chapter. Enjoy!

Invisible

Chapter 12: I love you

It had been two long years, and the fairy tail guild was for the most part back to normal after Lucy's departure on that stormy night. Natsu was still trying to get use to the guild without his Lucy around, even Lisanna tried to cheer him up, but nothing had seemed to work. Today was no different.

"Natsu, let's go on a date then." Lisanna suggested in order to get him out of his constant funk. Natsu blushed crimson upon hearing those words come from the snowy haired beauty in front of him. Natsu was about to answer, but then a certain blonde had crossed his mind.

"Lisanna, I think I'll pass, sorry." Natsu spoke as he laid his head against the bar counter.

"Wah, you sure are something Natsu Dragneel," Lisanna said with a smile as she stretched out her arms and back. "You really miss her don't you?"

"Every day, but two years ago, I thought I liked you; so why was it that every time I was talking to you, I wanted to be with Lucy." Natsu spoke as he looked up at Lisanna.

"Because Natsu, it was always Lucy, It had never been me." Lisanna told him as he raised his read to look at her with wide eyes.

"Then why did she feel invisible?" Natsu questioned Lisanna.

"Natsu I don't think she…" Lisanna tried to say before getting interrupted.

"You heard the song didn't you, why did she feel like I was ignoring her?" Natsu snapped as Lisanna looked at him with a sincere expression.

"You always paid attention to me Natsu, any girl would feel invisible if they liked you and they were being side stepped for another girl." Lisanna explained while wagging a finger at the fire breather.

"I still gave her attention didn't I!?" Natsu shouted as the guild members stopped what they were doing to look back at Natsu and Lisanna. Every day for the past two years they would converse about what when on those two years ago, and Lisanna would always remain calm while Natsu went berserk. Even sting was shocked that night when his own date revealed her feelings for the dragon slayer, and yet he still didn't lose hope that she would come back to the guild and forget about the dragon slayer when she returned.

"It's not a matter of giving her attention, it was the matter of her feelings being invisible, and you would always give her mixed signals, and you would break her heart everyday without realizing that talking to me was the cause of her not smiling. No wonder she lost trust in us and would run away at the party every chance we got to try and confront her." Lisanna reasoned as Natsu was about to retort till the guild doors fluttered open revealing someone they had not seen in the past two years.

"Luce…" Natsu whispered as tears began to fill his eyes.

Lucy had come back from her journey, and along the way, her hair had gotten longer and was tied in a ponytail. She even wore different attire than her usual get up. She wore her black combat boots with jeans shorts, and s red tank top that stopped midway from her bellybutton, Lucy smiled graciously at all of her guild mates who broke down upon seeing her and ran to her to rejoice, all but for one Natsu Dragneel whom decided to walk out of the guild without being detected.

"Lu-Chan, I'm so glad you're ok." Levy cried as she hugged her best friend tightly.

"I'm sorry Levy-chan, but I needed time to clear my head and get stronger." Lucy spoke while scanning the room for a certain someone.

"Lu-Chan, if you're looking for Natsu, he already left." Levy exclaimed as Lucy nodded before leaving to look for the fire breathing moron.

Lucy looked everywhere for him till she stopped on a hill to watch the beautiful view that was magnolia, she couldn't help but clasp her fist against her chest in relief that she had finally come back after such a long time. Even with all the training she still didn't detect the footsteps behind her like she would under normal circumstances.

"Beautiful, right Luce?" A voice questioned as Lucy's eyes widened as she spun around to see Natsu whom didn't seem affected at all by her being back. Lucy merely glared at the idiot as she turned around to watch the view in piece.

"Leave me alone Natsu, you obviously don't care that I'm back." Lucy spoke with a hint of sadness.

"Luce…" Natsu spoke softly as he walked up to her and pulled her open wrist into a hug.

"Natsu?" Lucy questioned as she felt water drops fall against her cheeks.

"Why'd you leave ya idiot," Natsu cried as his tears freely fell. " Do you have any idea how much you worried me."

"You did kiss Lisanna." Lucy mumbled with a pout.

"You're still on about that, god you're so stubborn, but I guess that's what makes me love you the most." Natsu smiled as his tears stopped leaving only water at the corners of his beautiful eyes.

"Natsu, you just, but I thought you liked Lisanna." Lucy questioned as Natsu laughed it off.

"Lucy, couldn't you see that it's always been you, not Lisanna or anyone else could take your place." Natsu spoke as Lucy smiled brightly and embraced his form, fully forgiving him for everything that had transpired two years ago.

"Natsu…" Lucy said as she stared into his eyes.

"Yes…" He had attempted to say before Lucy balanced herself on her tippy toes to kiss his lips. He was surprised at first before he gave in and closes his eyes putting his hands on her face to guide her. Then, Lucy pulled away, smiling as Natsu returned the gesture.

"I love you, Natsu." Lucy spoke as Natsu blushed.

"Let's go back to the guild." Natsu suggested as Lucy grabbed his hand and walked toward the guild.

When they had arrived at the guild, everyone were happy for the two while some were mad about all the drama that was caused by them, but even the guild members who were mad rejoiced in there reunion.

"Lucy!" Lisanna called as Lucy gave the girl a hug.

"I'm sorry, Lisanna." Lucy apologized.

"For what?" Lisanna questioned as Lucy smiled with tears appearing in her eyes.

"For not listening to you at the dance that night, you tried to explain but I wouldn't listen." Lucy spoke as Lisanna shook her head.

"No need for that, but someone did come to see you." Lisanna told them as Sting appeared from behind her, taking Lucy's hands in his.

"Lucy, let's continue our date from two years ago shall we." Sting suggested while pulling her into his arms bridal style earning a glare from a certain dragon slayer.

"Let go of my Luce, moron." Natsu commanded as he head butted against Sting's face.

"Why should I, flame brain." Sting insulted back earning the nickname from Gray.

"That's my boy, you make me so proud." Gray cried into a handkerchief that he pulled out from nowhere.

"Whose side are you on you, jackass!?" Natsu yelled as Gray immediately went into fighting mode as the two began one of their arguments. Sting eventually got tired of them arguing and put Lucy down originally to stop it, but he ended up joining instead.

"The guild's as lively as I remember." Lucy reminisced as Mirajane nodded.

"I'm glad you're back, Lucy." Mirajane said as Lucy grinned.

"It's great to be back."
