Nymphadora Lupin was currently sat on the bathroom floor to her mothers house. Her hair was a mess of greens, reds and whites as she continued to empty the contents of her (practically force fed) dinner into the toilet basin. She let out a groan as she felt her mother walk into the room, she was hardly surprised as she felt her hair magically pull itself from her face.
"Thanks . . ." She mumbled as she sat up, wiping her mouth with a piece of toilet tissue.
"I don't see why you don't morph your hair short if you're going to do that." Andromeda Tonks sighed as she leant on against the immaculate white tiles of the bathroom wall.
"Yes mother, I don't know why I turn my hair these colours when I want to puke my guts up either." Nymphadora chimed sarcastically as she pulled herself up from the floor, walking to the sink as she ran the cold water tap.
"Now now dear, sarcasm isn't very lady like." Andromeda couldn't help the small Black smirk that graced her lips as she teased her daughter.
"Says the worlds second most sarcastic woman I know." Nymphadora rolled her eyes as she splashed cold water into her face. She lifted her head to see her mothers reflection in the mirror.
"I'm not sarcastic, simply witty." Andromeda said "And I do believe myself to be the wittiest person I know, who would beat me in that realm?"
"Oh, I don't know." Dora sighed as she turned to face her mother "Darken your hair, change the eyes slightly and I'm pretty sure you'd see her in the mirror."
Andromeda shivered slightly as her nose wrinkled in disgust "Nymphadora T-Lupin-"
"Don't call me Nymphadora." Dora glared as her hair turned red.
"Keep the Black anger in check, Nymphadora." Andromeda sighed as she left the room.
"I am not a Black!" She yelled after her mother.
"Of course not, dear." The sarcastic chime came from the witch as she walked down the corridor.
Nymphadora Lupin Née Tonks glared in the mirror, stepping back slightly as she shocked herself with wild black hair. Damned baby making my hair change all the time. She cursed to herself as she morphed her hair her usual spikey bubblegum pink.
"I'm not a Black . . ." Nymphadora told her reflection sternly, though as she quickly conveyed her every feature, thought of her every mannerism there was no doubting that in some way she did have 'Black traits' "Okay . . . I'm a little Black . . . But I'm not that kind of Black . . . I'm a- . . . a- . . . A Sirius kind of Black . . . a Mum kind of Black . . . A Dora kind of Black . . . Not a Bellatrix kind of Black."
"Keep telling yourself that dear." Andromeda Tonks smirked as she leant in the doorway, observing her daughter carefully.
"Mum!" Dora yelled as she glared at the woman "Evesdropping little-"
"Language." Andromeda couldn't help but laugh as she dodged the minor hex that her daughter threw her way.
There was no denying that Nymphadora did have Black blood, more like her Aunt Bellatrix in a strange sort of way . . . But she was right, she was a 'Dora kind of Black'.
