We ran until we reached Mystic Grill. Klaus hadn't spoken much. When we went into the bar, he headed straight for the bar. I walked behind him, and took a seat next to him. We waived over the bartender, compelled him to keep the drinks coming. Niklaus hadn't spoken, I raised my glass and he looked at me confused.

"To Kol, and the incessant way he called me 'Salvatore girl'." I smiled and Klaus chuckled.

"To my egotistical brother, there will never be another like him." He said. And then looked down.

"Thank you." He said to me.

"You're welcome." I said. I took hold of his hand, and leaned towards him. Before our kiss began we heard a cough behind us.

"Well you two seem chummy now." Elijah said.

"Join us Elijah, we were just toasting our dear departed brother." Elijah grabbed the entire bottle from behind the bar and chugged down a big gulp. It was so unlike him. He wiped his mouth and looked at me. He was so hurt.

"I'm leaving for tonight; I still have to settle things with my witches and the pack."

"Tonight? It can't wait one night?" I said.

"The full moon is upon us, it is now or next month and I doubt I can keep the peace for that long."

"Is there anything you need us to do?" I asked.

"Yes actually there is." He looked to Nik.

"What?" he asked.

"Sylus, I need you to go with one of my witches to track him. Rebekah is waiting at the house for you to start. He is unlike our kind; he is somehow an immortal and a witch, though I am not sure how much power he might have. Find him, have the witch incapacitate him and wait for me."

"Or you go take care of the mutts and let me kill the bastard." Klaus said.

"No Niklaus, you are not the only one mourning, nor are you the only one feeling vengeful."

Nik nodded. Elijah went to walk away, but I stopped him at the door.

"I'm sorry about Kol." I said to him as I hugged him.

"Thank you Marie." He said and turned to walk away.

I turned to go back to Klaus but he was already at my side.

"Let's go handle this and be done with this." As much as I wanted to just comfort him, I knew what he needed right now, and that was the old me. The ruthless, let's get this mission done old me. So I put on my game face and followed him to the house.

ELPOV

I reached the point where I was to meet the pack, Elena, Jeremy, and Alaric. They were standing in a semi-circle form with Sam in the middle, my witches stood around a fire chanting.

I stepped in front of them, and waited to be acknowledged.

"In order to change you back, we will need you to take in the doppelgangers blood." Karina said.

The pack looked around and Jacobs's eyes landed on Elena. She looked unsurprised by this information.

"That wasn't part of the deal." Jacob said.

"It isn't enough to hurt her, but you will all need to have some of her blood in order to complete the transition."

"Jacob it's okay. I don't mind."

"Elena you aren't a human blood bag." He said to her.

"I assure you Elena's safety is a priority." I said. They all looked at me as if they finally noticed I was there.

"Really guys I'll be fine." Elena spoke. Elena and Jacob looked into each other's eyes and he finally nodded.

"Okay let's begin." The witches began chanting and fires began to magically ignite all around them. I took a step back to observe. Elena, Jeremy, and Alaric mimicked my movement, and the pack waited in anticipation. This spell lasted for what felt like forever, and then the fire dimmed.

"Now you must drink to complete the spell." Karina said.

Elena stepped forward and offered her wrist to Jacob, he turned and pushed everyone in front of him, one by one they all drank tiny sips of her blood, each being as gentle as they could. Finally it was Jacobs turn again, and the look on his face was hurt.

"Jacob please it's the only way." Elena pleaded and hesitantly he brought his mouth to her wrist and drank.

Suddenly the fire reignited and all the pack fell. Elena shot me and her family a panicked look.

"Relax; it is part of the ritual." Karina said, without even opening her eyes. Elena kneeled by Jacobs's body, tears streaming down her face. The witches continued to chant, the wind around us began to swirl and then everything went dead silent.

Karina and the rest of the witches walked towards me and said.

"It's done."

"Thank you, and like I said I owe you a great debt." I told her.

"And we will hold you to that." She smiled and left.

Within seconds of the witches leaving, one by one they each started to awaken. Jacob and Sam were the last to wake up and they all looked around confused.

"Did it work?" Seth said.

"I feel different, or back to normal." Leah said.

Sam stepped back and we saw him turn into a great black wolf, his form enormous. Elena's wrist was still bleeding, I walked towards her to heal her, but she lifted her hand to me.

"I have an idea." She raised her wrist in front of Jacob and nothing happened, she did the same to the others, and nothing happened. Each tried different vampire tricks but still nothing came to be. The spell had worked. Elena walked towards me and I fed her my blood her wound healed.

"Thank you Elijah."

"You're welcome Miss Elena." I said. "And a deal is a deal, you all are free to leave and resume your lives, and my brother is left alone." I spoke.

"We're leaving tonight, but our promise only goes so far as not looking for him. If he comes back to our land or threatens us or our family again, we will kill him." I nodded.

"He will not, but it is understood." Jacob nodded and took hold of Elena's hand. They left. I turned to leave and saw Bonnie Bennett standing in front of me.

"What are you doing here?"

"I think I'm going crazy and I need your help." She said to me.
