"You ready to move yet?" Jay diverted his glance to glance quizzically at Zhang who nodded and rose stiffly to his feet, grimacing slightly. "Yes, but we may have slow down for a bit." Jay smirked and muttered under his breath "If I had a Knut for every time I heard that one…" and pushed open the door, holding it as Zhang stumbled through before closing it. Turning to survey his new surroundings, his face quickly took on a look of bewilderment. The floor was not the clean tiles of the previous rooms but dirt and earth instead. And there was no door. "Why is there no door?" Jay wondered aloud, Zhang shrugged and spoke, "This is the room of Earth, maybe the door is under this earth." He kicked the ground to underline his point. "Isn't that a little on the nose?" Jay looked around the room, looking for some other clue on how to proceed. Zhang shrugged again and countered "I don't see any other solution, do you?" He waited patiently for Jay to finish his impromptu inspection and reply. "Fine, let's say you're right. How do we find the door under all this?" He spread his arms in an exasperated gesture and continued "I doubt it'll easy to find, and that's assuming you're right." Zhang thought for a moment and began to speak slowly. "Well… you're an Animagus, right? So use your animal form and see if you can sniff out our missing door." Zhang watched as Jay walked up to the door they had just passed through and sniffed it experimentally. "You might actually be onto something here, Zhang. Different woods take on certain properties as they age. Usually its texture but some smell different too… Hang on, I reckon I find this door in no time." Jay's eyes switched from their usual rippling green to yellow, his teeth began to lengthen and his limbs warped into bestial proportions as he dropped his human persona and released the wolf inside him.

His nose, now extremely sensitive, twitched as he inhaled the scent of the door. A similar smell radiated from beneath his paws, and he dropped low to the ground in search of the odour. His dark fur was matted and caked in dirt before he pinpointed the location of his target. He turned and barked at Zhang, before starting to dig. He hadn't gotten very far before Zhang pulled out his wand and flicked it at the small hole Jay had created. He yelped and jumped out of the hole as the earth began to move, flying upwards into a neat pile on the outside of the room, creating a tunnel large enough to Zhang to stand upright in. At the end of the shaft was the door that had eluded them. Jay barked as he ran down the tunnel and scratched at the door. Zhang chuckled and opened it, before entering the room of Wood.

Zhang had expected a forest of some description for the room of wood. Instead he gazed at a gargantuan tree with knotted bark and brutal looking branches that swayed menacingly in his direction. "A Whomping Willow. Must be two, maybe three hundred feet tall. This collector of ours is slipping up, everyone knows there's weak spot at the base." Zhang pointed his wand at the base of the formidable tree and cried "Immobulus". A blue light flashed from his wand, shooting towards his target before crashing into an invisible wall in a miniature explosion. "Magical barrier. Perfect." Zhang turned to face Jay, who was still in his wolf form and making a strange, stuttering growl. Zhang realised he was laughing at him. "Alright smarty-paws, what do you have in mind?" Jay stretched out and began to run towards the Whomping Willow. Zhang watched as he nimbly dodged the swinging branches and pushed the sensitive knot at the base of the tree, freezing it in place and opening a section in the lower trunk. Jay began to transform back as Zhang moved to join him at the opening, looking confused as Jay shot him an amused, mocking look. "Smarty-paws?" Jay began to laugh and walk into the trunk of the tree as Zhang rushed to catch up. "I was caught up in the moment, alright?" "Sure. Here's the door" Jay continued to chuckle as he opened the door and walked into the room of Metal.

Jay's eyes flashed gold for a brief second once again as the reflected light from uncounted riches that adorned the room gleamed at him. Jewels of every description, trinkets and precious heirlooms filled the expansive room, the overwhelming majority being made from solid gold. Jay reached out to pick up a gold plate, before Zhang slapped his hand away. "Once a thief, always a thief. It's another security measure, if you touch anything, the door locks." Zhang pointed to the door in question, which was small and unassuming, unlike the rest of the doors. "This is it, last room." Zhang pushed the door open and he and Jay stared at their prize. A large ruby sat in an ornate showcase in the centre of a cylindrical room a few meters in diameter. Zhang opened the case and picked up the Eye of the Dragon, and the room started to spin as the Portkey activated…
