Short but I had no time and I wanted to end the cliffhanger! Enjoy!
Damon was greeted by a two guys, who were twins. They had flaming red hair and were not very tall. They were both younger than him, but older than Stefan and Heather.
"May we know-," said twin one.
"Who you are?" finished twin two.
"I am Damon Salvatore, a friend of Heather's," he said, looking at those two.
"I am Fred," Fred said.
"And I am George," George said.
"And we are Heather's friends," they both said together. Just then, Heather came to the door.
"He is not my friend. Only an acquaintance," Heather said. "What do you want, Damon?"
"I am sorry-," he said but Heather cut him off.
"Save your breath, Damon. I am not interested," Heather said. "And if that is all you came for, good bye. I am very busy."
Damon guessed the twins felt sorry for him because they let him in. He walked inside.
"And no, I am not telling you who turned Logan," she said. "Because I know you are a selfish ass."
She picked up the paper again, and looked at the twins.
"When did this happen?" she asked them.
"Charlie is handling it," said twin one. It was impossible for Damon to tell who was who and he wasn't getting anything the three people in the room were discussing.
"It is not that we wanted to do that," Fred said.
"We were just creating a new range of products-," George said but Heather stopped them in between.
"What range of products could possibly use dragon's teeth?" Heather asked in surprise. "It is only those potions which are very difficult to brew and supremely magical need dragon's tooth. What have you two been doing?"
"The dragon didn't mind," Fred said.
"He was quite content showing us its teeth," George said.
"But his mother got angry-," Fred said.
"And she broke through her chains-," George said.
"And then many dragons broke free on seeing her," Fred said.
"And hence all this chaos happened," George finished. "But it is okay. Charlie and the other dragon trainers are handling it."
"Why? Why can't you two behave like normal people?" Heather asked, exasperated.
"We are wizards, Heather. We can't be normal," Fred said.
"You are someone to tell us to be normal! You were the one who gave us the money to start Weasleys' Wizards Wheezes in the first place!" George said. Heather sighed, remembering fourth year when she had given her triwizard winnings to Fred and George.
"Why are you two here?" she asked, looking at them.
"You hurt us, Heather," Fred said.
"It's as if you don't want us here," George said. Heather narrowed her eyes at them and they relented.
"Charlie told us to remain underground for some time, so we thought-," George said.
"Where better than living with Heather?" Fred said. "A calm and quiet town in the US."
Damon snorted at that. Heather looked at him reprovingly.
"It's not as quiet as you think it is," Heather was no longer angry, but worried.
"What happened?" Fred asked, losing a bit of his humour.
"Vampires," Heather said, looking at Damon. Fred and George looked at each other and laughed slowly.
"Vampires are not really a problem, Heather," Fred said.
"You do remember we are magic?" George asked.
"I know," Heather smiled. "But this is not going to be quiet."
"Ah, it's fine. What's life-," Fred said.
"Without a little risk?" George asked, winking. Damon looked at those two.
"Do you always complete each other's statement?" he asked.
"It's a twin thing," Fred said.
"You kind of know what the other person is saying," George said. Damon turned to Heather.
"Do you mind if I take these two for a ride?" he said, pointing at Fred and George. They were very amusing, and ha a sense of humour which he liked.
"Oh, no, no, no, no, no!" Heather said. "You are not taking them anywhere. They don't know this place, neither do they know about Salem witches."
"Salem witches?" Fred and George asked together.
"Yes, they are here. You know, we studied in the Defence against the Dark Arts classes. How vampires and werewolves used the witches and all," Heather reminded.
"We remember. It will be fun to meet one," Fred said and George winked. "And don't worry. We know how to take care of ourselves."
"You might want to recognise them. George is the one with no ear," Heather told Damon. He looked and found that George indeed, had none, it was covered with an artificial one which was only visible if inspected very closely.
"It was cut off when-," George started but Heather interrupted him.
"We don't want to bore people with past stories," she said, glaring at him. George realised that she hadn't been very honest about her past with the vampires so he shut up.
"Where can you take us, Damon?" they asked.
"Georgia," he said, with a twitch of his head. "Heather, you should come too, if you are so sceptical about.. sending them with me. I have some little work there."
"Fine!" Heather said, because she knew the twins wanted to go with Damon. Damon smirked. Heather looked and him and somehow, at that moment, Damon reminded her of Draco a lot. They had a lot in common. She pushed that thought to the back of her mind.
…
They were in the car, Heather in the front with Damon and Fred and George at the back. Just then, there was a man who was standing right in the middle of the road. Damon swerved to avoid him, and crashed into a tree. There was a hissing noise from the car, and when the four got out to see who the man was, he had gone. Disappeared. Damon looked at his car, wondering what to do when Fred and George smirked. They pointed their wands at the car, and did some enchantments which they had learnt from their father while he was working on the flying Ford Anglia. They got back into the car, and that's when Fred and George spoke.
"Do you wish to drive the car on the road?" Fred asked.
"Because the little enchantments we placed on the car would be useful to-," George said. Heather's hands went up to her mouth in revelation.
"Fly?" she said, looking between the two. They both smirked and nodded.
"You can make this car fly?" Damon asked, utterly surprised.
"And make it invisible so that the muggles can't spot us," George said.
"Oh, last time we used the invisibility booster, it turned out to be faulty. Ron and I were seen by not less than 9 muggles," Heather said.
"That's what our chief quality is," Fred said.
"We don't repeat our mistakes," George said.
"Or others'," Fred completed. They both grinned. Fred took the driver's seat and Damon went back. Heather grinned at him.
"Who was that?" Heather asked Damon. "He was a vampire, that is obvious."
"If I've never met him, I wouldn't know him. I mean, it's not like we all hang out together at the Vamp Bar & Grill," Damon sarcastically answered.
Suddenly, the car jerked and pulled up in the air.
"Fred, make this car invisible first!" Heather shouted at him. Fred turned to her, annoyed.
"It is already invisible, what do you think I am, a fool?" he asked her.
"In my opinion, no. In Mrs. Weasley's, yes," she said. "I had to take the precaution."
"Where are we going?" Fred asked Damon.
"Bree's bar," Damon said and Fred nodded. He placed his hand on his hand and said- "Point me Bree's bar."
The wand turned around, pointing the direction and Fred drove on.
"I like you both," Damon commented and Fred and George grinned.
