Chapter 12
The Dance

Alex awoke the next day to the light of the sun hitting his face. He groaned a bit as he sat up, noticing he was on a couch. He yawned and stretched. He recalled the previous night, of him trying on different sets of clothes, provided by Loke of course, for the dance that very night. He ran his fingers through his hair and glanced at the clock.

"Ten am. Must still be at Lucy's." he muttered to himself.

"About time you woke up." the blonde in question said. He sighed and stood up.

"What happened last night? All I remember is clothes."

"We stayed up late finding something for you. We finally settled on something at two am." Lucy said, pointing to an outfit which was in a cleaners back to keep it clean.

"Right. I remember now. Although, its still a long time for the dance. I suppose I'll go home and shower. I need to pick up the flowers and such." he said.

"Alright then. I gotta get ready too. Even if I don't have a date, I still need to look my best." She said. He chuckled.

"Of course, Princess." he said, bowing to her.

"Don't call me that." She said. He chuckled and grabbed his keys.

"Right, see ya later Luce." He said. He put on his shoes and left the blondes house. Thankfully, he lived only two blocks away, so it wasn't a far walk. When he got home, he found a note from Angel, saying that she and her sister had left for the guildhall. He went to his room and grabbed his clothes for the day, setting down the suit he borrowed from Loke. He headed to the bathroom and took his morning shower. He put on a soft blue shirt, and some shorts, with his blue converse. He put on his scarf and tied his hair like usual. He didn't know why he had gone blue today, but he just felt it was normal. He attached his keys to his belt loops, as well as his Photon sword.

"I need to get a belt." he muttered. He grabbed a quick breakfast and left his house. By that time, it was already Eleven. The morning was warm and lively as always. He needed to kill time, so he was going to walk around town. He was also set to get the last few things he needed for his somewhat date.

He passed by the flower shop, stopping to look through the window. He saw Gray in there, looking at some flowers. That was a curious thought in its own. He entered the store, walking straight to him.

"Hey Gray. I didn't peg you as a dude of flowers."

"Oh, Alex. I'm just buying flowers for someone. You know, that whole dance thing." He said.

"Hmm, is it my sister?" he asked.

"Uh.."

"She likes sunflowers." he said. He brushed past him, over to the Tulips. He picked up a bouquet Wendy was sure to like.

"Sunflowers?" Gray asked. He shrugged.

"I don't know. Bright personality, bright flowers. She liked them as a little girl too." he replied. He walked over to the counter, where the Florist was.

"Good Morning, was everything to your liking?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'd like these please. Oh, and do you sell any corsages?" he asked. The woman nodded.

"We have tons on sale, especially for the dance Fairy Tail is throwing tonight. But you'd know that." She said, glancing at his mark.

"Yup. My date likes blue flowers, so could I get a forget me not corsage for her?"

"Sure. Would you like to add anything to it?"

"Um..Gray, help me."

"What?" the teen asked. He was only in his boxers. Something that made the Florist blush.

"Dude, clothes." he said.

"Oh yeah." Gray said. Once he was dressed, he looked back at the younger teen.

"So, what's up?"

"What do you think would make this better?" he asked.

"I don't know. Who's your date?"

"Wendy."

"Wendy is your date?" both Gray and the Florist said in unison. This surprised Alex.

"Uh..yeah. I take it you know her miss?"

"Yes, she comes here all the time. She really likes flowers. If its for her, than I know exactly what to put on it." she said. She grabbed the corsage and added something to it, something he didn't see. She placed it in a plastic box.

"There you are. Since its for Wendy, its on the house. But you have to pay for the flowers." She said. He chuckled and handed her his Card.

"I can't believe you asked Wendy out. What brought this on?" Gray asked.

"Wendy apparently likes me, so I'm giving her a chance. After all, she's helped me a lot. Especially with that Unison Raid." He said.

"Alright, you're all set. I hope she likes these Alex."

"Thanks. I'll catch you later Gray. Keep your clothes on." He said.

"No Promises." He replied.

Alex made his way back out into the morning sun. He loved the feel of its energy on his skin. He was almost fully recovered from the Phoenix fight. To him, it felt like it had happened years ago, though it had only been a few days. He turned the corner and bumped into someone. He cringed as he heard the plastic of the flowers crinkle.

"Crap." he said, checking the flowers.

"Well, I didn't think flowers we're more important than your date."

Alex looked up, seeing Carla floating before him, paws at her hips. He grit his teeth and looked down.

"Sorry Wendy. I didn't mean to." he said, helping the girl up.

"Its alright. You looked distracted." She said. He nodded. A blush spread across his face.

"Um..I was going to give you these later but..now works too." he said, handing her the flowers. She gasped, taking them from his hand.

"Thank you. I love Tulips. Your so sweet." She said, kissing his cheek.

"Sure..no problem. Oh, I can't forget you Carla." he said, pulling out a Pink Scarf that Aries had knit the night before. He wrapped it around the exceed's neck, making sure she wasn't strangled.

"Oh, you look so cute Carla." Wendy said. The exceed blushed.

"Thanks Alex." She muttered.

"Anytime. So um..I guess I'll pick you up at Six?" he asked.

"Boys aren't allowed in Fairy Hills."

"Right Right. How about we meet up in front of the Ice Cream Shop? We can walk to the guild from there."

"Excellent. See you then." She said, walking off, a smile on her face. Carla shook her head and followed behind the Sky Dragon, who had a spring in her step. He continued on his way. He still had a lot of time to kill. He dropped by his house and put the corsage in the Fridge to keep the flowers from wilting. He sighed and decided to head to the guildhall. Maybe there was something he could do there to kill some time.

When he entered the Guildhall, he was met with tons of members decorating the guildhall. Hell, they were even setting up instruments for live music. Steamers hung from the walls, and there was even a large lacrima Disco Ball.

"Well hello there Alex. Liking the guild hall?" Mira asked.

"Yeah, its coming along great. Though all the hearts are a little much, what about Single Awareness Day?" he asked.

"That's a thing?" She asked.

"Uh..it should be. Anyway, I'm a little bored and need to kill time." He said.

"Well, a little birdie told me you like to sing. Wanna test the mics for us?" She asked.

"Who's that little bird? You sure its not a fox?" he asked, referring to his sister.

"I'm sure. Run along now. I got things to supervise." She said. He rolled his eyes and walked towards the stage.

"Hey Star Killer, heard your dating Blue now." Gajeel called out.

"I wouldn't call it dating, but sure." he said.

"Gihi, you going to claim her?" He asked.

"Claim? What do you mean?" Alex asked. Gajeel simply bit into a piece of iron, snapping it with his sharp teeth. Alex just passed it off as another joke and moved on to the stage.

"So, you just want me to sing?" he asked. Mira nodded.

"Anything you want to sing." She said.

"Okay. I don't really have anything. Besides, I'm speaking into it just fine." he said. Mira sighed.

"Fine, no songs then." She said sadly.

"How about you sign me up for the Fairy Idol thing? I'll sing then." He said, she smiled.

"Alright." She said happily.

"You just signed your death warrant." Gajeel said with a chuckle.

"I'm a good singer, I might even win."

"Oh yeah? Is that a challenge?"

"If you want it to be." Alex said. Gajeel smirked.

"Okay, challenge accepted."

"Indeed."

Alex continued testing the mics, all the while thinking of what to sing during the idol. He hated himself sometimes. He always jumped the gun. But, you only lived once. After about an hour of testing all of the mics, he got bored and decided to take a break at the bar. Cana was drinking, surprisingly not from a barrel.

"Hey, if it isn't the Super Saiyan." She said.

"Sorry Cana, but I already have a title. Names Star Killer." he said.

"Super Saiyan is better. I legit thought you went Super Saiyan 3 when you went into Dragon Force." She said.

"To be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to achieve it. That's the only thing I remember. Everything else is a blur." he said. Mira served him his usual juice and he thanked her.

"Well you were awesome. You summed power from something called Acamar and Regulus."

"Two Stars? I suppose that's what I used to invoke Fairy Law." He said, deep in thought.

"Whatever the case, your dad was left in a heap. And we were all shit faced." Cana said, finishing her drink.

"Yup. Glad he's gone. But there's a more worrying thought." he said.

"Huh?"

"Its nothing. Well, I'm taking my leave. I need to get ready for the dance." He said, finishing his drink. Cana smirked.

"Right, rumor has it you scored a date with little Wendy."

"Yup. See ya there Cana, try not to get wasted before it starts."

"No promises." She said. He rolled his eyes as he made his way out of the guildhall. It was early after noon now, around two. He still had loads of time to kill. He had yet to contract Pavo or Pegasus. He shrugged and took out the Winged Horse Key.

"Might as well do that now." he said. He held the key up, a few people looked at him weird.

"I am connected to the Celestial Spirit World through this key, now open thy gate and step through. Open, Gate of the Winged Horse, Pegasus." he chanted. The gate opened and a loud neigh was heard. The winged horse galloped out of the gate, circling around Alex. He finally stopped, facing the young teen. He chuckled and rubbed his nose.

"Hey there buddy. How you been?" he asked. He got a happy whinny in return. "I wanted to form a contract with you. How many days are you available?" he asked. The winged horse stomped his right hoof six times and Alex nodded.

"Alright, Six days. I'm taking wild guess here, Monday is your day off?" he asked. The horse nodded.

"Right, everyone hates Monday. Well, its nice seeing you. Our contract is set, so I might call you if I need you." He said. The horse gestured to his back with his head.

"You wanna take me on a ride?" he asked. Pegasus nodded. Alex shrugged.

"Hell, it will kill time." he said. He climbed onto the horses back. It was his first time on a horse, so he was a bit nervous. Alex grabbed onto his mane, so he wouldn't fall. Pegasus neighed loudly and broke into a full gallop. He spread his wings and took off into the air.

"Whoa. Man. This is so cool." he said. Alex was glad he didn't get motion sick. Pegasus neighed loudly and kept climbing higher into the sky. Pegasus finally leveled out, using the wind to glide down. Alex looked around, seeing the sea, as well as all of the areas surrounding Magnolia. It was a beautiful sight to behold. He figured this must have been Pegasus's thank you to him, for getting him away from Harry. He smiled.

"This is great, thanks for showing me this Pegasus." He said. The horse whinnied loudly. They flew around for a bit longer before landing outside his house. Alex got off the horses back and pat his neck.

"Thanks buddy. I can't wait to work with you." He said. Pegasus rubbed his face against his own, making him laugh. He then disappeared in a shower of white feathers. He entered his house, hanging up his vest. He glanced at the clock and smiled.

"4:54. I got a little over an hour. Perfect." he said.

"Alex, you home already?"

"Yup." he called out. Angel walked out of her room in nothing but a towel. He blushed.

"What the hell Sora?" he cried.

"What?" she asked.

"Don't come out like that." he said.

"Aw, you can't tell me you've never seen a naked woman before."

"No." he said. She shook her head.

"I'm getting ready for the dance, I advise you do the same." She said, returning to her room. He shook his head and headed up stairs. He decided on taking a quick shower. Once done, he started getting dressed. He put on a pair of black dress pants with a matching pair of black dress shoes. He put on a white dress shirt, which he tucked into his pants. He left a few of the top buttons undone and folded the collar down. He was tempted to put on his scarf but knew it wouldn't look good with it. He brushed his hair, tying it back with a hair tie.

"Hey Alex, can I borrow some hair ties?" Angel asked, entering his room. He turned to her, eyes widening.

"Damn. You look good." He said. She was wearing an off the shoulder black dress, with a feather boa around her neck. She smiled.

"Thanks, you look nice too. I'm sure you'll tame that sky dragon for sure." She said. He gave her the ties.

"I'm sure you'll get some attention too." He said.

"I'd surely hope so. Did you talk to Pavo yet?" She asked, using his mirror to fix her hair.

"Not yet. I was going too, but Pegasus took me for a flight." he said. He grabbed his jacket and put it on, leaving it unbuttoned. He placed his key ring on the inside of it.

"Maybe you should do it now. We don't know if that dirt bag did anything to her. Lynx didn't tell me anything when I contracted her. Neither did Vulpecula." She said.

"They may be too ashamed to say it." he said. He withdrew the Silver key from his pocket.

"I am connected to the Celestial Spirit World through this key, open thy gate and pass through. Open, Gate of the Peacock, Pavo." he chanted. A magic seal appeared and a loud peacock cry was heard. In a swirling vortex of feathers, a beautiful young woman appeared. She had fair skin, long blue hair, with matching blue eyes and a beautiful face. She was wearing a blue dress that hugged her figure nicely. On the back of her dress, was a beautiful tail of feathers, which extended outward. She was also wearing a diadem with little rainbow balls on it. The sleeves of her dress doubled as wings. She was wearing blue heels, finishing off her dress. Alex had to admit, she was very attractive. She looked at him briefly before looking down in shame.

"H-hello...Master." She said softly.

"None of that. I'm Alex. You're my friend, not my slave. Pavo, what happened to you and the others is very serious. I need to know if that man did anything to you. Anything that you didn't feel like doing." he asked.

"N-no. He didn't rape us..but he touched us. Made us wear skimpy outfits for his amusement. Are...the other girls okay? Lynx and Vulpecula I mean?" She asked. He nodded and Angel showed her the two keys.

"They're with me. Don't worry. That will never happen to you again. You're amongst friends now." She said.

"We care about you. Celestial Spirits are our friends, not our servants. Now, what days are you free?" He asked.

"Um..Tuesdays through Saturday mostly. I can offer another day, if you want." She asked shyly.

"No, its fine. Tuesday through Saturday works. Thanks for confirming this with us Pavo. I was worried about you and the others."

"Worried? I didn't think a human would ever worry about us." She said.

"Of course. You're all important to me. Every key connects me to a friend. You're safe now. Go back to the spirit world. I'll call you if I need you." He said. She nodded, disappearing in a shower of sparkles.

"She's so adorable. And those feathers are cute." Angel said. He smiled.

"She needs a lot of work. But together, I'll make sure she comes through everything." he said, placing her key back in his ring. He glanced at his clock and winced.

"I'm late, gotta jet. See ya at the Guild." Alex said, heading downstairs. Angel rolled her eyes and continued getting ready. Alex grabbed the corsage from the fridge and placed it in his pocket. He headed out the door, making sure he had his house key and his wallet. He noticed it was getting a bit dark outside.

"Crap. I hope she doesn't get mad." he muttered. He made his way across the city. He made it to the ice cream shop, seconds before Six. He sighed in relief and fixed the collar of his shirt. He took a deep breath, fixing his jacket and checking his hair.

"Hello Alex-kun."

Alex looked to his right, seeing his date. She was wearing a shoulderless light blue gown, the skirt ended slightly above the knee. She wore a black ribbon around her waist that tied into a bow on the back, the ribbons of it we're left free to hang. She had her hair in its usual twin tails, only they were tied with black ribbons. She finished off the look with light blue pumps and a matching purse.

"Wendy. You look beautiful." he said. She blushed.

"Thanks, you look very handsome yourself." She said. He blushed and looked away. He took out the corsage he had bought for her.

"Um..here." he said. She took it, looking at it closely. She opened it, gasping a bit when she saw it.

"Oh Alex. This is beautiful." She said. He took it out of the box and slipped it around her left wrist. He had to admit, it was a beautiful corsage. With tons of blue forget me nots, and a large blue orchid in the center, surrounded with green leaves.

"I hadn't seen it until now. The florist said you'd love it."

"I do. Mary always know what kinds of flowers I like." She said.

"Well, I have one last thing for you." he said. He walked behind her, taking out his mother's necklace out if his pocket. He placed it around her neck, slightly surprising her.

"Wait..this was your mom's, right?"

"Yeah. I want you to hang on to it for me." he said, once he had secured it to her neck. She reached for the locket, holding it tightly in her hand.

"I'll take care of it. I promise." She said. He smiled.

"Good. Come on." he said, taking her hand in his. They started making their way towards the guildhall. He lead her as best he could, but she stumbled a few times.

"Sorry. Its my first time in heels." She said.

"Why didn't you wear something else?" He asked.

"I wanted to look pretty."

"You would have looked fine. Converse would have worked." He said. She smiled.

"I'll be fine. Its just..the cobblestone. I don't get how Evergreen walks in these all the time." She said.

"She's older and more experienced?" he asked. She shrugged.

They finally arrived at the guild, hearing the music that was playing. They both took a deep breath and walked in. the placed looked way different than it had hours ago. There were tons of hearts everywhere, and flashing lights from the disco ball. The music was also from a live band. The bar was being flocked by tons of people, both members and townspeople. There was also a huge snack table, filled with love themed foods, as well as two Cupid Ice Sculptures.

"Wow." They uttered. They made their way deeper into the guild, making sure not to let go of each others hands.

"This place looks amazing." Wendy said, doing a full 360 to get a look at the whole place.

"This must be your first event right? Last I remember, the last thing that was held in town was the Harvest Festival, seven years ago." He said. She nodded.

"That was before I joined. We never had a party like this. Though we did have a foot race. Me and Carla ended up winning it." She said with a smile.

"A foot race huh? That sounds really interesting." he muttered. He looked across the room, seeing the punch bowl. He smiled.

"Hey, want a drink?" he asked. She nodded shyly. "Be right back then." he said. He kissed her hand and walked across the guild hall, saying hey to a few of his friends. He stopped at the food table, seeing Natsu and Happy stuffing their faces. Natsu was wearing an outfit, similar to his own, only he was wearing a tie. And Happy was in a snazzy green suit with a fedora of his own. He chuckled and grabbed two cups.

"Oi, its Alex."

"Hey Natsu, Happy. I see you're enjoying the party." he said. The Older Dragon Slayer smirked.

"Course I am. Look at all this free food." He said.

"Somehow, I pictured this happening." he said.

"Aye Sir." Happy cheered, taking a bite out of a raw fish.

"So, Happy, have you seen Carla yet? She wasn't with Wendy. I assumed she was your date."

"No, She didn't accept." He said sadly. Alex clapped his back.

"Don't worry buddy. She'll come around. Maybe a dance under the disco ball might do the trick." he said.

"Aye. I'll try it." He said, wiping his mouth and flying off. Natsu smiled.

"Thanks for encouraging him. He's been bummed all day."

"Hey, he's my friend too. Rejection sucks. So its best to get back on the bike and try again."

"Ugh..bikes." Natsu groaned.

"My bad." he said. Alex poured some Punch into two glasses, he took a sip of his own.

"Star Killer." the gruff voice of Gajeel called.

"Hey Gajeel. What's up?" Alex asked. He took in the older slayer's clothes. He was wearing a black suit, with a bright green tie. His hair was slicked and tied back.

"Nothing much. You came here with Blue right?"

"Yeah?" he said, sipping his drink.

"Well, that dude is trying to get her to dance or something." He said, gesturing to where he had left Wendy. Indeed, a boy he had never met, was trying to drag Wendy to the Dance floor. Alex clenched his hand, shattering the glass he was drinking from.

"Excuse me fellas." he said. He closed the distance to the bar, setting Wendy's drink down.

"Come on babe, just say yes."

"I said no. I came here on a date with someone." She cried.

"Forget him, he's probably a loser." the boy said. Alex cleared his throat. The boy became intimidated when he saw Alex's golden eyes.

"Hey buddy. What are you doing with my girlfriend?"

"Whoa man, I didn't know she was your girlfriend." he said.

"Right, do me a favor and get lost. Fairy Tail girls are high class. You want a hussy, then take your ass to the Red light district." he said. The teen nodded and ran off, scared out of his wits. Alex smiled.

"Thanks." She said.

"Anytime love. I got you your drink." he said, handing her the glass. She stared at it for a second before taking a sip.

"Its nice, but..I kinda wanted Champagne." She said.

"Why?" he asked.

"I dunno. To Celebrate your first month in Fairy Tail, and our first date." she said.

"True. I suppose that's fine." he said. He saw Elfman walk by with a try of Champagne glasses and took two from him, also getting a comment about Champagne being Man. Alex handed Wendy her glass.

"Here we are." He said.

"To friendship." She said.

"To many more dates."

"Um..to Fairy Tail."

"Aye, to Fairy Tail." he said, they clinked their glasses and drank its contents. They set the glasses down at the bar, which was becoming more filled with glasses and people.

"Wanna Dance?" Wendy asked.

"Uh..I..don't know how." He said. She giggled.

"I do." she admitted, she took his hand anyway, and lead him to the dance floor.

"Take my hand in yours like this, and wrap your arm around my waist." She said. He nodded and did as he was told.

"L-Like this?"

"Yeah, but pull me a little closer." She said. He blushed and pulled her closer to himself, almost being chest to chest.

"Okay, now you lead." She said. He remembered vaguely how to Waltz, and decided to go with that. It wasn't as hard as he thought, and got into it pretty quickly.

"There you go. Its like you've been dancing forever." She giggled.

"I guess I'm a natural at it." He said. They danced for a few more minutes, before the lights dimmed and the music stopped. Mira stepped up to the mic, she had her hair down, with two long curls framing her face. She was in a red floor dress with sequins all over it, making it all sparkly.

"I'd like to thank everyone for coming to the First Annual Cupid's Day Dance. We worked really hard to put it all up, so have fun. Now lets have the spotlight find us a cute couple." She said. The Spotlights turned on, and started sifting through the crowd. Alex swallowed hard.

"Leave it to Mira to come up with this bullshit. I hope it doesn't land on us."
The Spotlights stopped, shining directly at him and Wendy. Both blushed at they were left all alone in the center of the dance floor.

"Alex and Wendy. Look at the cute couple."

"Mirajane, I swear this is going to bite you in ass one day." Alex said. The white haired barmaid shook it off, a devilish smile on her face.

"I know, since you two got picked, why don't you kiss? And none of that cheek kiss crap, I want a full on liplock. Laxus will shock you if you don't."

"I will?" Laxus asked.

"Shut up, your my date so do what I tell you." She said.

"Fine." the Lightning Dragon replied.

"Dude." Alex said.

"Is a kiss really that bad?"

"Come on man, kiss her."

"Yeah. Kiss."

"Kiss her you bastard." Natsu shouted, everyone sweat dropped.

The crowd kept on chanting for them to kiss. Alex looked at Wendy, the girl was blushing big time. He smiled and cupped her cheek. He leaned down, placing his lips over hers. He didn't know if she was stunned or not but she didn't do anything for a few seconds. Finally, after three seconds, she started kissing back, going as far as wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Woo, hot damn. Now that's a kiss." Bixlow cried.

"Alex is a Man." Elfman shouted.
Alex pulled away from Wendy, who remained utterly quiet. Though, the squeals of the girls, mainly Chelia, seemed to bring her back.

"You two are adorable. Now, Alex promised us a song."

"I did?" he asked.

"Yup, when you we're testing the mics this afternoon, Gajeel told me to remind you. You had him deliver the message." Mira said. Alex looked over to the Iron Dragon Slayer, who was smirking at him.

"You Bastard. I'm kicking your ass after this."

"Gihi."

Alex sighed and let Wendy's hand go, making his way to the stage. He didn't know what song to sing, but he didn't want to disappoint the crowd. A few of his friends cheered him on. He stepped up to the mic and cleared his throat.

"Woo, hmm, never thought this would happen. I'm not sure what to sing so..oh, I know..how about a Classic? You've all seen and or heard about the Phantom of the Opera correct?" he asked. He received a chorus of yeses.

"Alright then, I'll sing one of my favorite songs from it. Til I hear you Sing." he said. He glanced back at the band, who gave him a thumbs up. The lights dimmed again, and he took a deep breath. The Music started, up, and Alex brought the mic to his lips.

"Ten, Long Years. Living a mere facade of life. Ten Long, Years. Wasting my time. With smoke and noise. In my mind. I hear melodies, pure and unearthly. But I find, I can't give them, a voice. With out you."

He paused as the music slowed down a bit.

"My Christine. My Christine. Lost and Gone. Lost and Gone."

"The day starts...the day..ends. Time crawls by. Night steals in pacing the floor. The moments creep, yet I can't bear to sleep. Till I hear you sing.

And Weeks Pass, and Months Pass, Seasons fly. Still you don't walk through my door, and in a haze, I count the silent days. Til I hear you sing once more.

And sometimes, at night time, I dream that your still here, but wake, holding nothing but the empty air.

And years come, and years go. Time, runs dry. Still I ache, down to the core. My broken soul, can't be alive and whole, til I hear you sing, once more.

And Music, your music, it teases in my ear. I turn and it fades away, and you're not here.

Let hopes pass, let dreams pass. Let them die. Without you, what are they for? I'll always feel, no more than halfway real,

Til I hear you sing. Once More." he finished, holding the last note of the song. The crowd broke into cheers and applause, and he wiped a few tears from his eyes. He smiled.

"Thank you. If your asking why I'm crying, this song always gets me. It was my moms favorite." he said.

"That was amazing. Sing another one."

"Mira." he warned. The white haired girl giggled.

"Sorry."

"Well, if you want to hear more, you'll have to wait until Saturday. I plan to enter Fairy Idol, and I might win it too. I'm working on something big. You'll see." He said with a wink, handing her the mic. He stepped off the stage, grabbing the glass Wendy handed him.

"That was beautiful Alex. I didn't know you could sing like that." She said. He drank the punch, setting the glass down.

"Yeah, my sister can sing too. Mom gave us vocal practice everyday. She wanted us to sing to our children when we grew up. Typical mom stuff." he said. He suddenly stopped walking, looking at his girlfriend.

"Dragon Slayer babies, don't hatch out of eggs..right?" he asked.

"I..don't know." She replied truthfully. He sucked his teeth.

"Well, guess I'll find out in Ten to Twelve years." he muttered.

"Hey Alex, have a toast with me." Levy cried, handing him a glass filled with Champagne. She handed one to Wendy too.

"Uh..sure..why?"

"To friendship. And because I want to go with you to find Polaris." She sad. He sighed.

"Fine Levy, I'll let you come too. To friendship I guess." he said, they all clinked their glasses together and drank the fizzy drink.

"Woo, nice song by the way. See ya." She cried. Alex looked at Wendy, both nodding at the same thought.

"She's Drunk."

"I've never seen Levy-san drunk before." Alex said.

"I have." Wendy said. He looked at her curiously. "We went training in Hosenka Village before the Grand Magic Games and we all got drunk." She said.
"Seriously? I didn't expect you to get drunk."

"It just happened. Honestly. I think it was Juvia that started it. Even Carla was drunk."

"Oh God, a Drunken Carla scares me."

"I should scare you enough normally."

Alex looked beside him, seeing Carla in a cute ball gown. He saw she wore a matching pink ribbon around her tail, and she also had the scarf he had given her.

"Hello Carla. Having fun?" Wendy asked.

"I am. Happy won't stop asking for a dance though." She said.

"That's my bad. I encouraged him to ask you. Would one dance really hurt? It would make his night." Alex said.

"He doesn't know how to dance though." Carla replied.

"Teach him. Come on Carla, you don't have to be his girlfriend or anything, just a dance." Alex said. The female exceed sighed.
