It's never really a good idea to have four Kirkland's together in a tight expanse of space.

"Damn it Peter!" Alistair growled.

Make that five.

At a red light, Alistair shoved the unfortunate micro nation hard to the side, making the child's cheeks squish on the passenger car's window. Outside, a lot of humans who had witnessed the scene gaped in horror at the child. One woman was even already busy calling the police on her phone. "Stop bein' such a bloody nuisance."

Squished in the back seat of Alice's Mini Cooper, the remaining three Kirkland's hadn't even bat an eyelash at the obvious abuse happening in front of them, already used to the scene – not like any of them hadn't been treated by their eldest that way at one point in time. Or two… or more.

"Arthur! Alistair is hurting me!" the child cried, voice a little muffled as half of his face was pressed tightly on the glass, his tears not really helping his situation except to make it easier for the eldest Kirkland to rub his face on the window. Seamus snorted at that and Alice couldn't help but agree. It was the idiot's fault for claiming bloody shotgun when he knew their eldest was the one driving.

But still, she couldn't help but heave a heavy sigh and violently yanked the personification of Scotland's arm away from the child's head and pull Peter to sit at Seamus' lap.

"Fuck no!" The personification of North Ireland growled, shoving the crying child to Dylan who hurriedly tried to stop the little fort from crying. "Get him away from me!"

Peter's cries immediately turned to whimpers when he landed on the lap of their kindest brother. Thank God for Dylan. And Alice knows her other two eldest brothers also thought the same thing, for the creases on their foreheads had decreased. But that doesn't mean the annoyed expressions on their faces had completely wiped out.

Ah, if only she had gotten her way. She would have gladly just gone to The Forest by herself - no pesky and irritable brothers to be saddled with. But no, big brother Alistair just had to suddenly became an overprotective prick to his new little sister and wouldn't let her out of his sight. Of course, naturally, her other two older brothers agreed with their eldest. Before she could even process the fact that, oh bloody hell, her brothers are actually being obviously protective and not secretly like usual, it was too late to register the fact that she was already being dragged to her car. Dylan was cheerfully loading a huge basket of teas and food in the trunk since he deemed it a beautiful day anyway and that it's always nice to have a picnic in The-Bloody-Forest, blatantly ignoring the fact that a rather loud thunder clapped above the sky.

To make the day even worse, Peter just happened to already be strapped on the front seat and cursing them all for taking so long. Alice had been too shocked to even think about how the stupid little bugger managed to escape both Tino AND Berwald's watchful eyes, come down to London, and more importantly, find out that they were going on a trip – if you could even call it a trip.

When Alice finally managed to digest all the information, it was already too late. Alistair had already donned a pair of shades and was blazing down the streets at high speed and honking obnoxiously at every traffic patrol car they come across. That had been hours ago.

Now, the obvious thrill of the trip had been wiped out and the usual frustrations and annoyance for each other had replaced it. Well, they have always been the most dysfunctional family out of the whole world - the Asian family coming in a close second.

She was brought out from her thoughts when Seamus started tugging her out of her seat.

"Go on," the red head grunted, gesturing to the newly vacant front seat. "Move over there. No use remaining squished here when there's a perfectly vacate seat up front."

Alice had not waited for anything more as she started to climb to the front, the action being so unladylike. Ladylike be damned, honestly, comfort was the only thing on her mind right now.

"Watch yer elbow!" Alistair warned, having ducked just in time before Alice's elbow whacked his head. She made herself comfortable before she turned back to her older brother.

"Sorry about that." She said. The red head grunted in reply, pressing the pedal hard the second the traffic light turned green and they blazed along the streets at illegal speeds.

Alice cursed badly in her head. Great, she knew she would have to tell her boss about this, knowing too well he's already receiving no doubt multiple pictures of them with reports of speeding. Usually, she can easily get away with this - considering Alistair does this frequently enough for it to be a normal occurrence. But this time, she didn't know if he'll let this slip, especially since she had another bomb to drop on him - the fact that Arthur had became Alice.

Then again, maybe the speeding issue would be easily forgotten in favor of the other issue. The only reassuring thing about this is that she knows very well that the Queen would be delighted over this -whether that's a good thing or bad is still debatable.

"Peter? What's wrong?" From the back seat, Dylan's worried voice floated over. Alice glanced at them from the rear view mirror.

Peter remained squirming uncomfortably on the brunet's lap.

"I have to pee." the child meekly whined.

Curses immediately filled the car - most of them coming from their driver - as Alistair wasted no time in speeding up even more, making Alice wonder if yet again her brothers messed with her car because she didn't know her Cooper could ever go this fast.

"No," the fairy Queen said, while calmly floating in front of the Personification of England. She was standing in the huge throne room of the fairy kingdom, having hurriedly gone there after she and her brothers arrived at The Forest.

Alice gaped at her. "Why not?" she asked, blinking a few times in disbelief, this certainly was a first. The fairies had never denied her anything before! Why now? She certainly didn't remember doing anything that may warrant their wrath.

... Or maybe she did, back from that blasted night, and just never remembered it. She was pretty wasted then to the point she didn't remember anything that happened in between from the third club she, Julchen, and Matthia entered and the morning they woke up.

Oh dear lord, she hope she didn't do anything to them!

Suddenly, the fairy queen giggled and stood up from her throne, flying towards the front of her nose, making her eyes cross as she tried to keep her eyes on the floating figure.

"Because," the sparkly being stated, a little hand rested on the tip of her nose and started caressing it. Alice had to hold back the sneeze that tried to force its way out. She knew the fairy Queen most certainly wouldn't appreciate that and all the more wouldn't help her. "I like you better this way. You're so pretty." The highest authority of the fairies cooed, staring at her face fondly.

Alice had to hold herself back from whacking the Queen away from her face. That won't be good. That won't be of any good, and not to mention, disrespectful and she knew very well how it's never a good idea to anger the fae.

"Well, now that that's settled. I believe you don't have anything more you need from me, hmm?" the fairy stated, flying back to her throne. Her scepter already raised and lit in preparation for the magic the Queen was about to perform.

"Wait-!" before she could protest any further, the Queen already pointed the head of the scepter at her and not a second later, gone was the huge castle throne room. Alice was back in The Forest, the mashing colors of green and brown a huge contrast to the light and bright colors of the faerie kingdom.

She couldn't help but sigh at that, knowing very well that once the fairies had decided on something there was no swaying their minds.

What was she ever going to tell Matthia and Julchen?

"I take it didn't go well?" Dylan's voice came out of nowhere Alice couldn't help but jump lightly in surprise. Unfortunately her brother caught it and chuckled.

She glared at him as she faced him before sighing, "Unfortunately."

The brunette gave her a sympathetic smile. "Just as I thought. When we were looking for a clearing for the picnic we overheard some fairies giggling and talking about you and how they wished you would stay a woman."

"Great…" she couldn't help but mutter. Dylan comfortingly wound his arm around her shoulders and gave her a reassuring squeeze.

"Don't worry too much about it. If it helps, then at least you're very pretty – just like our Mum! You know, without the red hair of course." At her glare, Dylan only playfully squished her face. "Now come on little bunny. Alistair refused any of us to eat until you finished your business and Peter's already whining. You know him."

"Who?" she asked as she let herself be tugged away by the brunette, "Alistair or Peter?"

Dylan smiled at her and winked. "Both,"
