Hey, it's the 28th July so that means today me and my TT have been talking two years 0.0 Wow, I can't believe I've had such an amazing friend for that long. She's truly great :'B This update is a proper chapter, not a letter as it basically introduces what will happen beginning next month :P Hope you like!

Ages:

Ash: 50

Misty: 50

Ben: 31

Katie: 31

James (Ketchum): 25

Jessika: 24

Disclaimer: I own only the story and Ash's kids :3

"Are you guys ready to go in?" beamed Ash Ketchum as all four of his children and wife gathered outside his office door before unlocking it and letting them all in.

Benjamin, the oldest of the group and still most energetic at the age of thirty one, dashed in ahead of his other siblings.

"I still don't get why we're all in here." He glanced around the room before his twin sister, Katie, interrupted him.

"Yeah, hurry up, Dad. Tell us why we're all here."

Misty watched with fond eyes and she leaned up against the wall as she watched her husband sit on the floor and usher all four children around him. She beamed at the tanned man in front of her. She had known Ash since he was ten years old and now he was fifty but still just the same as she pulled him out of the river, forty years ago. Together they had endured so many trials. Arguments, being together, being apart, awkward first kisses and first times, miscarriages, pregnancies and marriage. As well as all these tribulations they had shared such love and laughter and happiness. It was truly the love of an eternity.

"Okay you guys…" Ash smiled, reaching into his desk drawer and pulling out a large package in a brown paper bag.

"What's that?" Jessika, female and almost identical look-alike to her father piped up before he could explain what it was.

The raven haired man grinned at his daughter and brushed the bangs out of his eyes before telling his children what was inside. Even though his children were grown-ups and with families of their own, he still treated them with as much love and care as when they were tender babies.

"This, my darlings…" Ash muttered as he tugged out the bits of paper that were all tied together with ribbon. "Are letters from me to the twins but I want all of you to read them. When Misty and I began trying for a baby, I began writing to you, expressing my hopes and fears. I carried it on until you were in your teenage years. So here they are…"

He looked down at the pages with fond eyes before handing it to Ben and Katie, the twins and oldest of his children who in turn offered them to their younger siblings.

Ash glanced up at his wife and gave her his trademark goofy grin and in return, she beamed at him with love in her eyes. They were the love of each other's lives.

"Oh wow, this one is from when we left on our journey…" breathed out Katie as she clutched the letter and read it aloud to her brother who was peering over her shoulder.

James Ketchum went and sat next to his father, a torn and old letter in his own hands. He looked at Ash with his round, green orbs.

"This one's from when you got jealous of Uncle James while mom was pregnant with me…" he smirked at his dad, causing him to blush and rub the back of his neck sheepishly.

Misty grinned at this and went to wrap her arms fondly around her husband's neck.

"You were always a jealous one. You still are!"

At this, Ash's sheepish blush turned into a scowl and he pushed his wife away playfully, poking his tongue out at his children.

"Okay, okay, that's enough…"A

Seeing her father was beginning to get irritable, Katie nodded to her brother before producing a similar brown package to the one Ash had shown them. The red headed young woman slid next to her father, her twin brother close to her side, just as they had been since the day they were born.

"Actually, Dad, we have something for you too…"

At this, Ash turned to both his twins, his brown orbs blinking in confusion. Misty's aquamarine eyes looked astonished as she had no idea what her first born children were up to.

"What is it…?" the tanned man frowned as his fingers tugged a wad of letters tied together with a red and blue ribbon.

"Open it and see!" Ben and Katie said simultaneously and grinned while their two younger siblings glanced at one another, still shocked at their synchronicity.

Ash did just this and began untying the ribbon. His fingers were dirty as always and cracked with age. What Ash did next caused everyone to gasp with the memory and glance at one and other.

He cleared his throat, reading the first two words that were at the top of the sheet.

"Dear Daddy."

There you go! I hope you all enjoyed, especially you, boo :3 So yeah starting next month I will be starting a new group of letters every month on the 28th called Dear Daddy. It will be similar to this but from Ash's kids to Ash :3 Thanks a lot and see you next Wednesday for Pikachu Tales :P
