Kim peers inside the church. This is surreal.

Sabrina laughs as she hands Felix her flowers. "I guess I am just too anxious to get married."

Felix giggles as he accepts the bouquet from her.

"Tommy and Sabrina would like to thank everyone for coming out today. The minister begins. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the sight of God and this company to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony." "I will not waste time and ask if these two should not be married because I feel that in my heart I know that no one here has any objections, so let's continue with the rest of the service." "Thomas and Sabrina would personally like to thank everyone for coming to share in their special day." "Whether you are a member of the family, a close friend, or someone who they met when searching for their loved ones." "Those that were lost to them will be forever in their hearts." "Felix would like to say a few words for his best friend and her future family."

Felix hands Aisha the bouquet and walks to were the minster just was. "I have known Sabrina for six crazy but wonderful years." "I met her when she became a nurse at the Angel Grove hospital; she was this shy girl with glasses too big for her small face."

Sabrina begins to blush. "Maybe I should have had him tell me what he planned on saying."

"As if you could," Felix tells her causing everyone to laugh. "Now as I was saying she showed up with those big glasses looking like a teen at their first day of high school." "So I knew that I had to take her under my wing and since then we have become the best of friends to where I consider her my little sister." "When Sabrina told me about her parents being on a plane that crashed I was so upset for her and thought that her world was over but I was seriously wrong." Felix smiles at Tommy. "See, Sabrina meet a friend who she slowly developed a crush on while trying to play it cool." "Tommy, dealing with his own tragedy did not seem to notice." "He regarded her as nothing more than a friend until one day he saw the light." "A big help goes to the makeover I gave her and his friends telling him he needed to give Jenna a stable home with both a mother and a father."

Kim looks at her friends with an expression of anger, hurt, and understanding.

"So, Tommy decided to purpose to Sabrina but not tell me since he knew that I could not keep a secret and would have blabbed but the awesome ring makes up for me not knowing." "Anyways, I know the three of them will leave a loving and happy life together." Felix hugs Sabrina first then hugs Tommy before he takes the flowers and reclaims his spot besides Sabrina and Aisha.

The minster smiles at the happy couple before she speaks. " The couple has decided to include their daughter into the program as much as possible." "Jenna please come up here."

Kim breathes in as she sees her daughter walk to the front of the church. She holds on to part of the door. Is this really happening?

Before Kim, moves back to her spot at the door, her friends all take a seat in the front pew.

What is going on? Kim moves back to her spot at the door. Why did they sit down?

She soon receives her answer.

"The family is going to pour sand into a vase for a long and prosperous marriage," the minster places a vase on the table.

Tommy lifts Jenna up and the two of them along with Sabrina pours sand into the small vase.

"With this vase, the family will always be joined together," the minster moves the vase to another table. "Now the three will light a unity candle to be bonded together by love."

"Jenna be careful with the candle," Sabrina warns her.

That should be me telling my daughter to be careful. Kim shakes her head.

"I will be," Jenna accepts the candle from her father and lights the main candle along with her father and soon to be stepmother.

The minster smiles as at the family before she moves the candle to the same table the vase is on. "Now it is time to recite the vows."

Kim smiles thinking back to her wedding day. Tommy and I had written our own vows and he begins to cry during the middle of his. Oh, I remember loving him, more which I thought was impossible because I loved him so much.

Sabrina smiles at Tommy. "I thought only true love was found in fairytales and if I wanted a happy ending then I would need to read a romance novel before I went to sleep and dream about Prince Charming coming to rescues me and we would ride away on his white horse." "Boy was I wrong." "Felix told me a few days after we met that you would be my knight in shining amour that would make all the pain go away and give me the life I always wanted." "I hate to agree with him but he was right."

The people in the church laugh.

"I am so thankful to have met you; I am madly in love with you although we have recently become an item." Sabrina's eyes begin to become misty. "You have given me the family that I always prayed for. "I do not need to daydream anymore because I have the real thing." "I thank you for turning my fantasy into a reality." "I have found my happy ending and I will be forever grateful to you for that."

The minster smiles, "Tommy now it is your turn," the minster turns to Tommy.

"I am glad you mentioned Jenna and me being your home because it's only a home since you helped to complete it and make it one." Tommy smiles at Sabrina. "I was so lost when I met you." "I had just lost someone that meant the most to me beside my daughter and I did not want to come to terms with it then." "So, Jenna and I were just going through the motions hoping that she would return to us one day." "I felt as if I would never love anyone again and tried to close off my heart." "That made me not see this wonderful woman standing right next to me." "A gorgeous, strong, shy but passionate woman." "I was stubborn and held on to the fact that she would return so I did not see you for all that you are worth."

Kim closes her eyes and tries to shake away the scene that is unfolding in front of her.

"Sabrina now I see you for all that you are worth and I will never not see you again." Tommy wipes a tear from Sabrina's face. "I love you for teaching me that although we experience hard times we will always have someone to pick us up and pick up the pieces." "I love you for helping me make it through the days and for helping my daughter when she was down." "Sabrina, you gave me my life back and I know it was not easy." "I am going to spend the rest of my life making it worth it and you never doubting your love for me."

Why do I feel as if my feet are glued to the floor? Kim feels another tear slide down her face.

The church is filled with oohs and ahs as the vows are going on.

"Now it is time for the rings," the minster announces.

Felix hands Sabrina, her ring to give to Tommy.

"Uh, Adam, the ring please," Tommy tells Adam over his shoulder.

Adam looks confused and upset. "I do not have the ring?"

Felix produces another ring. "You gave me this for safe keeping because of what you guys had planned for the night before." Felix hands Tommy the ring.

"Oh, right," Adam blushes.

"Place the ring on your soon to be husband's finger and say with this ring I be wed," the minster tells Sabrina.

Sabrina giggles because she cannot believe this is happening. She slides the ring on Tommy's finger. "With this ring I be wed."

"With this ring I be wed," Tommy slides the ring on Sabrina's finger.

"Now that is left is the I do's." The minster moves back a little and allows Jenna to be in front of her father and soon to be stepmother. "Hold hands," the minster informs. "Sabrina do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband; to have and to hold till this day forward." "For better or for worse, for richer or for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do you part?"

"I do," Sabrina says with a smile.

"Tommy, do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded husband; to have and to hold till this day forward." "For better or for worse, for richer or for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do you part?"

Kim stops crying. I cannot barge in on his wedding. He obviously loves her and she has helped my family so much. I need to live and find a better time to let them know that I am alive.

Tommy stares at Sabrina for a minute. He looks into her eyes. Can I finally let go of Kim? This will be the last thing binding me to her in this manner.

"Uh, Tommy, I believe that was your cue to continue," the minster glances at him.

Tommy takes a deep breathe. Why can't I just say the words? What is holding me back? The gang along with Kim's family has given me their blessings to remarry. Tommy takes one deeper breathes before he smiles. "I do."

Sabrina begins to cry again as the minster speaks.

Kim cannot take to hear the end and turns to walk away from the double church doors.

"Good answer, very good answer." "Tommy now by the power bested in me by the state of California. I now pronounce you man…"

Jenna's speaking interrupts the minster from completing the sentence.

Jenna smiles at her father and soon to be stepmother. She sees a movement at the door and raises her head to get a better look. Could that be mommy? Jenna peers at the woman at the door. "Mommy," Jenna says with a confused expression on her face.

Kim turns around with tears on her face and looks inside the church. She is standing a few inches from the door that she was leaning against.

Everyone in the church turns around towards the doors with a baffled look on his or her faces. As to why Jenna would say mommy and look at the church doors.

"Mommy," Jenna cries as she breaks apart her father holding Sabrina's hand and runs to Kim. "Mommy," Jenna exclaims as she runs down the aisle with tears streaming down her face to her mother. As soon as she reaches the door, Jenna is sure that the woman at the door is her mother and runs to her screaming out mommy again.

Kim holds out her arms with tears running down her face to her daughter. "Come here baby."

Jenna holds out her arms and runs into her mother's arms crying.

Kim picks her daughter up and swings her around in her arms. "My precious angel."

"Mommy," is all Jenna can reply.

"Aw, my baby," Kim holds her daughter as if she plans to never let her go."

Jenna holds on to her mother as if she is never letting her go. "Mommy."

"Ah… it is okay," Kim spins with her daughter again as people look at the pair with bewildered expressions on their faces. "Mommy's here," Kim rubs her daughter's back. She finally turns her tear streaked face around and faces everyone.

Tommy has a look of disbelief mixed with shock.

"I missed you so much," Jenna tells her mother as she sets her down.

"Oh, sweetheart, I missed you too," Kim, tells her as she wipes tears from Jenna's face. "Oh my, you are even more beautiful than I remembered." Kim looks at her daughter. "Is that even possible," Kim, continues to wipe the tears from her daughter's face.

Tommy can only stare at his wife and daughter.

"Is it possible," Trini asks.

Aisha gasps, "It is a miracle."

"Oh my Robert," Mrs. Hart looks at her daughter.

Robert does not hear he is moving towards Kim.

"Wait a minute; give her a minute with her daughter," Mrs. Hart stops her husband.

"You have been gone a long time," Jenna, pouts to Kim.

Kim kneels down in front of her. Kim sighs, "I know angel but mommy has thought about you every day and mommy loves you." Kim touches her daughter's face. "And mommy will never stop loving you or leave you again." "You believe me right?"

Jenna can only nod her head at first. "And I never stopped loving you either mommy."

"Princess," Kim gasps as she sees her daughter's pain. Kim looks over Jenna's shoulder and spies Tommy watching the interaction between Jenna and her.

"Kimberly," Tommy whispers.

Kim stands up and grabs her daughter's hand. "Tommy," Kim says as she walks inside the church with her daughter.

Tommy slowly makes his way to Kim and their daughter. "What is going on," he utters in a voice barely above a whisper.

Kim looks him in the eyes and walks towards him.

"Is this a dream," Tommy asks.

Kim shakes her head no.

"Is this real," Tommy counters as tears slide down his face.

Kim reaches out and touches Tommy's heart. He puts his hand over hers. "I am real; Tommy… I am alive," Kim, tells him with a smile.

Tommy opens his mouth but nothing comes out.

"Am I seeing things," Jason asks.

"If you are than so am I," Zack replies. "It's our Kim."

Sabrina holds on to Felix's shoulder.

"Is that really Kim," Felix questions.

Kat speaks up. "I don't know how but yes it is."

"This is the best possible news ever," Tanya smiles.

Sabrina leans against Felix as her parents smile.

"I don't understand," Tommy tells Kim.

"I know, I know; it's crazy but…"

Tommy interrupts Kim. "The plane crashed and there was no sign of you."

"I didn't die; I survived the accident," Kim adds.

"But I searched everywhere," Tommy questions.

Kim frowns, "I know but with the wind and other factors the plane went down on a deserted island and I had no way to contact you."

"Billy made his own coordinates," Tommy tells her as he moves his hand from her heart and entwines his fingers with hers. He begins to hyperventilate.

"Tommy, it is okay; I am standing here right in front of you right now," Kim smiles at him. "We had built a raft and were planning on leaving the island until the owner showed up."

Tommy calms down some. "Who?"

"It does not matter right now," Kim shakes her head at him. ""It is a long story." "But you have to know that I have been trying to get back home to you and Jenna." "We worked hard on the raft and I tried to stay positive I really did." "I knew one day I would finally make it home to Jenna and you," Kim cries out. "I am finally here and you are getting married."

Tommy turns to look at Sabrina still holding Kim's hand.

Sabrina can only stare at Tommy with her mouth agape.

Mrs. Hart holds her husband's arm. "I know how bad you want to go to her because I do too but she and Tommy have something's to figure out."

Mr. Hart smiles, "My baby is alive, Caroline."

"Yes, our baby is really back," Mrs. Hart kisses her husband on the cheek.

"This is really happening is it," Sabrina asks Felix. "I am standing in my wedding gown on my wedding day about to marry a man whose supposed dead wife is talking to him."

"I wish I could say no but yes it is happening," Felix looks at the couple.

Kim looks at Tommy. "I wanted to return sooner but people got sick and hurt causing us not to leave the island on the raft."

Jenna lets go of her mother's hand and hugs her from the side.

"I am sorry that I stopped looking for you," Tommy tells Kim.

Kim gives him a small smile, begins fixing his bowtie, and touching his face. "Don't be; you could not have known."

"Daddy searched day and night for you mommy," Jenna adds.

"I bet he did," Kim smiles at Tommy.

Tommy besides glancing at Sabrina has not removed his eyes from Kim. "The funding was up after six months but we rallied up another six months." "I wanted to continue on."

"I know you and I believe you," Kim continues touching Tommy. "It is finally over."

"Yeah," Tommy tells her as he caresses her neck. He places his hand between her neck and leans his forehead against her forehead.

Kim gives a little gasp. "It is alright."

Tommy gives Kim a passionate kiss.

Sabrina looks at the pair with tears in her eyes before she begins to sink to the floor crying out.

Felix holds her as she falls to the floor.

Tommy kisses Kim again and rests his forehead against hers. He leans his head back and looks at her. I cannot believe she is standing right next to me alive and well. Tommy begins to caress Kim's face and hair prompting her to do the same. He kisses Kim again causing her to gasp.

"Better," Kim replies.

"What," Tommy questions.

Kim looks up into his eyes as he frames her face with his hands. "Oh, all the nights that I dreamed of this seeing you again and kissing you." "This is so much better."

Tommy chuckles as he looks at her.

"You kept me alive you know that," Kim wipes away his tears. "You and Jenna," Kim glances at her daughter who is grinning from ear to ear looking at her parents.

"I have dreamed of it too but I thought that was all it would be," Tommy tells Kim. "I just cannot believe that you are here right now." He kisses Kim again.

Kim smiles up at him. "You can believe it."

Jenna looks ahead at Sabrina crying. "Daddy," Jenna shakes her daddy's jacket and pants.

"Yes baby," Tommy asks.

"Sabrina is crying," Jenna, tells him looking at Sabrina with a sad face.

Tommy turns and looks at Sabrina who is wiping her tears off her face before she sprints off.

Felix watches Sabrina run off before he casts a loathing look at Tommy. He runs off after Sabrina.

The people look from where Sabrina was standing to Tommy and Kim with concerned looks on their faces.

Kim and Tommy stare as Sabrina runs through an open door on the side of the room.

Tommy turns to Kim with a concerned expression on his face.

"Go," Kim, orders him. "Tommy, you need to talk to her."

"I…" Tommy begins but Kim stops him.

Kim shakes her head. "I am not angry with you or upset; I mean I am upset but we do not need to get into that now." "Tommy, I saw the whole thing; I did not just come in at the end."

"Then why didn't you say something," Tommy questions.

"Isn't it obvious; you love Sabrina and I tried to leave," Kim tells him. "I wanted to tell you at a better time that I am back but Ms. Evil eyes over here saw me." Kim massages his hand. "It is okay, go to Sabrina."

Tommy shakes his head no. "What if I lose you again?" "I can't…can't…"

"You won't lose me again," Kim adds. "Tell him baby," Kim looks down at Jenna.

"I got her daddy; I will hold onto mommy," Jenna re-grabs her mother's side.

Kim smiles down at her. "See."

"Don't move; you stay right here," Tommy demands.

"I am not going anywhere," Kim tells him.

Tommy touches Kim's face before he walks in the direction Sabrina left in.

Kim looks after him with an unreadable expression on her face.

Mr. Hart walks over to Kim with Mrs. Hart behind him.

"Daddy," Kim cries out. "I am surprised you held out that long."

"Oh, I almost didn't," Mr. Hart tells his daughter.

Mrs. Hart smiles as her husband hugs their daughter. "Just call me the holder."

"I missed you so much," Mr. Hart tells his daughter.

"I have missed you," Kim hugs her father back.

"Robert, you are going to crush our daddy besides it is my turn," Mrs. Hart exclaims.

Mr. Hart pouts, "Hey wait your turn."

Kim and her mother share a laugh before Mrs. Hart is able to hug her daughter.

"I feel so bad; I was one of the main people encouraging Tommy to move on," Aisha frowns.

"You were only being a good friend," the minster tells her.

Aisha shakes her head no. "Tommy kept having these feelings that she was still with us and all I did was talk him out of it."

"Aisha," the minster tells her. "Nobody could have seen this coming; nobody."

"I love Kim with all my heart we all do and seeing her right now like this with her parents is amazing but there is another woman that we need to consider today," Trini adds.

"I cannot imagine what Sabrina must be feeling right now," Kat says with a sad look.

Billy wipes his glasses on his jacket. "I think we will all need a drink after this."

"I whole heartily agree," Rocky adds.

"Make mine a double," Tanya answers.

Mr. Hart looks at his daughter. "Want to sit down or do you need anything?"

"Oh I am sure if she wants something she will tell you," Mrs. Hart tells her husband.

"Yeah, I wish I knew," Kim tells her father.

Mr. Hart holds his daughter's hand. "Well than we will take it one breathe at a time okay." "You are here and safe; let's start with that."

Kim nods her head yes. "Still doling out the same advice I see."

"Never, never leave me like that again," Mr. Hart tells his daughter as he looks into her eyes. "You hear me," Mr. Hart gasps.

"Yes, I love you," Kim re-hugs her father.

He hugs her back. "I love you too." Mr. Hart looks up.

Jenna turns and see Sabrina's friend from work. "Elizabeth, look who came back."

"I know," Elizabeth smiles at Kim. "I am sorry it took so long but I had to park like five blocks away and walking in these heels is hard enough."

"No, problem," Kim smiles as her father picks up Jenna.

"I have to stop myself from pinching you." Mr. Hart smiles.

Mrs. Hart smiles," What do you think our girl made it."

"I know and I am glad she took after you," Mr. Hart grins.

"Don't you forget it," Mrs. Hart grins back at him.

Mr. Hart kisses his daughter. "I am not going to monopolize all your time."

"Yeah right," Kim chortles.

"Other people are dying to talk to you as well," Mr. Hart puts Jenna down and moves to the side.

Jenna's eyes grow as big as saucers when she spies her Uncles and Aunties approaching at a rapid past. "Whoa momma," Jenna gasps.

Kim is pulled into one hug after the other with a smile on her face.

"Whoa, guys we need to be careful before we smash her," Zack says with a smile.

"Oh, she is a fighter, she can handle it," Jason states with a grin.

Billy laughs, "Kimberly has proved to have an enormously powerful force within her."

Tanya nods her head in agreement. "I completely agree."

"I would never tussle with you," Adam states.

"Kim, this is the best the best news," Trini glazes at her.

"I know right," Kat smiles at Kim.

Aisha stands on the sidelines afraid that Kim will hate her.

"Um, Auntie Aisha isn't you happy that mommy is home," Jenna asks.

"Of course I am," Aisha gives Jenna a small smile. "I just cannot believe it."

Kim smiles at her. "Neither can I; I figured it would take a lot longer if I had to use the raft."

"Raft," Jason questions.

"Yeah, I was stranded with a few other survivors on an island," Kim comments. "We hoped to be rescued but when no one came for a year and a few months well than we knew we had to use the raft we built and hope for the best."

Adam grins at Kim. "The important thing is that you are here with us."

"I know; all I wanted to do was return home to my family and friends," Kim looks at her group of friends. "Jenna and Tommy kept me going when I was feeling miserable and rundown." Kim sniffs as she hugs Jenna again.

"Mommy, do not cry I am here," Jenna smiles at her mother. "I am glad you came to see daddy and me but I have one important question to ask you." Jenna looks at her mother before she looks down at the floor.

Kim smiles down at her daughter. "Yes pumpkin, you can ask me anything."

"When do you have to return to heaven," Jenna asks with a frown.

Kim looks at her daughter with tears glistening in her eyes. "I do not have to return to heaven because I was never in heaven baby." Kim pats her daughter's head. I will never leave her side again. My baby has been through so much. I plan to make it up to her every day and night.

Jenna has a huge smile on her face. "Oh that is the best; I am so happy and I cannot wait to tell daddy that you do not have to leave for heaven and can stay here with us." Jenna nestles into her mother's side.

"Aw, I am just going to cry and not stop," Trini smiles down at her best friend with her child.

"Get in line," Tanya holds back her tears.

Kat looks from Kim to Jenna. "Where is my camera when I need it?"

"At the reception…" Aisha stops talking midsentence. Ooh, not the right time to bring that up.

"So, Kim, please tell me how you managed to have long luscious hair after dealing with your ordeal," Tanya questions.

Kim self-consciously touches her hair. "It looks alright?"

"Looks alright; women will be lined up to know your secrets," Rocky jokes.

"How much should I charge," Kim asks.

Rocky smiles at Kim. "We definitely have to discuss this farther in private."

The gang shares a laugh with Jenna.

Authors note: What will happen next? Will life go on as it had before Kim left or will she have to face a new reality? How will the conversation go between Tommy and Sabrina? I am a General Hospital fan and received the idea for this story when Robin and Emma reunited. I thought that was one of the best scenes ever shown on television and watch it every chance I get. Leeleelayla5 and Brankel1 were right. I have been dropping little clues left and right.
