Alex smirked as he saw the bodies of the men drop like flies as Desmond did his work. He only wished he had more time to enjoy his lovers skill. Instead he pressed on going a head in search of the two runaway kids. Catching the rushing of boots headed towards him he pressed his back to the booth closest and watched as Vincent ran by followed by a handful of the gas masked morons. Huffing lightly he chased after them using his whip to trip them and stop their chase. They cried out as they fell on top on one another. One of them cracking his head on the corner of a metal beam causing a puddle of brains to drip out under him.

Vincent stopped running and looked behind him to see Alex cut a man in half with his big fucking blade and used his buster hands to crush another into a tree. The last tired to crap walk away in terror as Alex walked up to him calmly. Urging out his claws he pointed them at the mans chest and with one little nudge slicked clean through his torso. Standing up and shifting back to his fill normal form he looked at Vincent who was throwing up next to a tree. Alex gave him little time to calm down as he grabbed Vincent's vest and shoved him into the tree.

"What happened?"

"They were closing in on us. I made myself a distraction so Heather could get to the sanctuary." Vincent rushed out sighing as Alex let him go.

"Then chances are she's already inside and we are stuck out here." He huffed through his nose as he looked at the downed men. "I have an idea and I don't want to hear any shit from you got it?" Vincent nodded blankly as Alex got a manic grin on his face.

Sticking to the shadows Desmond used the skills he gained through the bleeding effect to cut down the enemy placed in front of him. Taking a crouched position at the top of a pole he looked down as the men scrambled around ignorant to his presence. Push his weight onto his heels he jumped down onto the man nearest him silencing his cry with a blade in the back of his head. Following though his his momentum he rolled on the ground slipping under a cart as another gas masked man ran up to his fallen comrade. Slipping back he got up silencing a few stragglers as he moved deeper into the park.

A guttural moaning caught his ear as he ran near the Merry-Go Round. Sliding in the pebbles he found the source. Chained and hooked to the park ride in the center was Alessa's Guardian. Pyramid Head. Seated in the center and kept there by hooks that dug into his skin and chained him to the ride he acted as the motor. Turning the crank in front of him and peddling his feet the ride slowly spun in small circles. In in surprise he didn't notice the man sneaking up behind him until an arm wrapped around his chest. Grabbing his arm he broke the wrist and spun him to put his back to his front and flipped him with a hard kick to his leg and that sent him on his back. Bending down to one knee he stabbed the mans throat with a pant as he regained himself.

Standing he looked up at Pyramid Head and ran for the Merry-Go Round. Jumping onto it he hopped over and squeezed between the porcelain horses. Reaching the trapped beast of a man he looked at the many chains and grates littered around him keeping him in place. His body littered with cuts and tears in his skin from the metal pulling at it and from his attackers.

"Hey big guy. How you holding up?" He asked running his hand along the chain trying to find it's source. With a deep groan PH shook his head slowly as he kept the machine moving. "Guess those gas masked freaks got the jump on you huh?" Kneeling at his side he saw a thick shackle around the beast's leg. Cursing under his breath Desmond ran a hand though his short hair.

"Desmond?" Jumping up at the sound of his name he found Heather staring at him out of breath.

"Heather? What are you doing here?" Running up to her he held onto one of the pole to keep himself steady as it spun. Looking around they found themselves surrounded. Men and women came out of no where and made a huge circle trapping them on the Merry-Go Round. Some were in tattered clothes, other's in gas masks, and some in cult robes hiding their faces and bodies.

"That's a question for you Desmond." A child's voice said before the people all screamed in agony as they were set on fire. Pyramid Head worked faster using the wind from the ride to fan the flames assisting in burning his captors to a crisp. Desmond spun on his heel to find Alessa. With her dirty long black hair and pale skin that popped with her dark blue dress she looked at him with her dead black eyes. Before he could utter a word she raised her hand and he was pushed back by an invisible force knocking his back into the grate that was trapping Pyramid Head.

"A-Alessa..." He grunted trying to get back up as his vision tried to clear.

"You shouldn't have come back. None of you should have." She hissed glaring at Heather. Slowly her body changed and grew until she became a mirror image of Heather with more grime and showing her natural hair color. With her filthy chopped teeth she growled at her before turning to him. "You failed me. The Order lives and I still suffer."

"We did what you asked of us. We took down the church, we took down Christabella. We didn't know about the order." Desmond argued.

"When the embers went out and the smoke cleared I thought it was done. But no. Off to the distance a new pain rang in my mind. The Order lived in the park, the church was just a diversion to keep me at bay. Even now as they burn at my feet I still feel the pain in my mind. The Order grows stronger. And you've given them exactly what they want." She hissed turning back to Heather.

"Alessa." Heather whispered. Her body frozen on the spot at she looked at what her other half had become. With a gasp she stepped back as Alessa appeared in front of her growling in her face.

"I gave you life so you could live my dream. You're the part of me that could be free of this pain, could live and feel love." Her voice dripped pain and venom as is echoed in their minds.

"Do you feel nothing?" Heather's tone one of pity and sorrow. Alessa took one step and vanished for a moment until she appeared behind Heather hissing in her ear.

"Nothing but hate." Heather gasped and spun on her heel looking Alessa in the eye. "Even Vatiel can see that." She motioned to the top of the center piece of the ride.

Desmond struggled to get up, using the cage to help keep steady as he did. The spinning of the ride and the hit to the head were a bad combination as he tried to see straight. Above he heard a soft gurgled groan and looked up to see the faceless creature that clung to Pyramid Head earlier. It's head twisted this way and that not helping Desmond's eye's adjust in the slightest.

Crawling down the center piece of the ride he shuffled over to Desmond as he stood rubbing the bump on the back of his head. Pyramid Head growled as the, now named, Vatiel clung to the cage trying to pry it loose with no such luck. Desmond found the lock for the cage as his hand fell on it and waved his hand to get Vatiel's attention.

"Vatiel...?" He asked hesitantly. The faceless being stopped with his struggles and turned his head toward Desmond who motioned his hand to the lock. Tilting it's head back and fourth for a few moments he looked at Pyramid Head before walking closer to Desmond. Seeing the lock it stared at it as if it held all the secrets in the world. Looking down at him he gave a jerking nod of his head before he dashed to the side, incidentally shoving Desmond back to the ground, and vanished through the flames.

"They say you are a demon." Heather grit out as she slowly turned her head from the disappearing Vatiel and the struggling Desmond to Alessa.

"They are right."

"You created this nightmare."

"Everyone has a different nightmare. In Silent Hill I am theirs." She whispered with slight amusement in her voice clearly taking joy in the people's pain. Heather shook her head and turned around.

"I have to save my father." She urged only for Alessa to reappear in front of her.

"He is not my father or yours. And sacrifices have to be made." She stated without a care in the world.

"Go to Hell!" Heather yelled in her face again trying to escape her by turning around.

"Can't you see?" Alessa once again appeared before her. "We're already here." The ride spun faster as it slowly sank into the ground. The flames trapped around them as they spun slowly falling down the deep passage below. Heather let out a choked scream as Alessa grabbed her neck. What appeared to be decay and rot rose from her hand slowly traveling up her neck causing her pain.

"Alessa! Stop!" Desmond yelled only to be shoved back again.

"Do you think I won't destroy you?" She hissed slowly.

"How can you?" The small web of veins rising under her skin as the venom or whatever Alessa was seeping into her sank in. Heather whispered in her ear. "I am you." With that she wrapped her arms around her trapping her in a hug as he skin became like ash. Alessa struggled to get free and growled.

"Time to take back what I gave you!" With an internal struggle of dominance the two girls singled to one another. Alessa had the upper hand as Heather's skin and body seemed to deteriorate but in a flash Alessa cried out as her skin instead took and ash like form. Heather had won. "We are one-again."

Heather's skin went back to it's healthy peach as Alessa deteriorated to crisped embers and fading ash. Smoke rose from her fading body and surrounded Heather in a haze. When it was done Heather's eyes rolled into the back of her head as she fell to the ground. The force holding Desmond back vanished and he was finally free to stand. Running to her side he kneeled next to her pulling her into his arms. With light shakes and soft calls of her name he tried to wake her while checking for any injuries. Aside from a few cuts and bruises she seemed fine.

The Merry-Go Round slowly came to a stop as they reached their destination. The flames around them dimming but not yet going out. Pyramid Head groaned as he stopped operating the machine but was still unable to move from his entrapment. Heather's eyes slowly opened as she took in her surroundings and sat up.

"Easy." Desmond urged helping her to her feet. Heather stood uneasily but quickly got her footing as she stared at the opening gate ahead of them. It lead to a long corridor that was clearly part of a foundation to the upper structure. "Heather, you okay?" She jumped at his voice and turned quickly to look at him making her hair hit her face.

"I-I think so..." She rubbed her head. "I don't really feel any different. Where is Alex?"

"He went looking for you and Vincent." Desmond explained stepping down from the ride and looking at the long hall in front of them. No way they can back out now. Looking back at Heather he nodded his head and started to go forward. With a quick jog she ran to his side and matched his pace.

Along the ledges off to the sides stood men and women watching them in long robes. Keeping an eye on them they pressed on watchful of danger. Walking though they stepped around the rubble and over the fallen beams. The foundation of whatever building they were below extended off into the darkness. Flowing the dimly lit path they came to a circular structure on the ground. What appeared to be random etching danced around the edges as the steam and heat surrounded them. A line of men stood next to a set of stairs that a woman was slowly walking down towards them.

Chained to a large statue of a crouched being was a man. A beaten and tired expression was taped to his face as he struggled to stay up. His wrists worn and bloody from his weight and struggles. He breathed hard as he looked up and gasped.

"Dad!" Heather yelled running up to them. Desmond caught her by her arm as they stepped onto the circular platform.

"Sheron!" The man yelled struggling to get free and run to his daughter. Heather was on the verge of tears as she tried to pull away from Desmond who didn't lesson his grip. Taking note of the number of enemies in the room he cursed under his breath. There were too many to take head on and protect Heather and her father at the same time.

Then his eyes landed on a kneeling young man to his right. Two hulking men stood at each side holding him in place with a hand on his shoulder. His wrists tied behind his back as he looked at Desmond pleadingly. Taking another sweep of the room Desmond grit his teeth glaring at the captured Vincent.

"Where is Alex?" He demanded. Vincent looked down at his lap in shame. Shaking his head he slowly looked back at him.

"Desmond... I'm so sorry..." The Assassin felt his heart stop.

I can hear you guys yelling at me already. Bwahahaha

Anyway back to the task at hand with the voting process. With the list I'm not familiar with all of the games involved meaning I haven't played them myself just yet. Other games/Tv series that were suggested that didn't make the list were either too far out of range to make them work with the Proto-Creed series or were something I didn't want to get into or something I very much want to get into but lack the means to do so and don't want to spoil it by looking up the gameplay/cutscenes on youtube.
Each choice on the list I either know or sort of know enough of to have somewhat of a start on that I can further by playing the game myself or looking up the gameplay online because I've already seen parts of it. For the ones that I have not played it will take me considerably longer to write for them because I have to play the game, the write, then play then write then make sure all the information lines up-you get the idea. It could take a while. So keep that in mind when you choose.
I'm going to give you a short bit of detail on how much I know the series and how fast I can get working on it as well as the description for the story itself(which might change depending on what I plan out for the story).

-Bioshock, a series I know well and I can easily get things rolling on this, it would take place most likely in Bioshock.
Sill on the run our hero's finally decide to take a risk and travel over sea's. Using fake passports they charter a plane to take them into the heart of another culture. Little did they know that the plane would crash them into the ocean. Their only salvation was a lighthouse that pulled them down into the blue depths, a city under the water. Rapture.

-Arrow, I've seen the most of the series up thanks to netflix and love DC hero's so it will be another easy start.
Desmond and Alex find themselves in another set of slums, this time in Star City. Trying to regain their somewhat peaceful living style they get new jobs and keep their heads low. That is until the town's rich playboy comes back from the dead ends up kidnapped and brought to a warehouse that our hero's walk through on the way home. Bullets fly and they quickly realize there is more to this playboy than he lets on and that his enemies might be related to their own.

-Amnesia The Dark Decent, have not played it. I've seen parts of the gameplay online so it will be a very slow start.
Once again our Hero's are on the run and soon find themselves at an old castle. How they got there is hardly important as the fact that they can't leave. An accident had them smelling the fumes from an amnesia potion making their memories slip away leaving them with no information as to how to get out. Now stuck in the old castle they are hunted by monstrous creatures and feel their sanity slipping will they be able to last long enough to get out?

-Outlast, another game I have not played but have seen parts of it. It will be a slow start but not as slow as Amnesia.
Alex and Desmond find themselves walking into an Asylum at the request of Dr. Ragland, the same doctor from Alex's past that helped him. The doctor has found himself in a desperate situation and reached out to the living virus for help, but when they arrive all they find is blood and death. Can they find Ragland alive? And why was a patient file with Dana Mercer's name on it attached to the letter?

And there you have it, four possible additions to the Proto-Creed series.

R&R to vote and let me know how much you love my cliffhangers.
