The Doctor POV
I sat in the flat a year later during my daughter's dance. as I turned the page of my book, 'The House of Hades'
As I finished up the book I heard the phone ringing. Who would be calling at a time like this?
I got up and walked over to the phone picking it up
"Smith residence how may I help you?" I asked. I heard crying on the other like
"Daddy?" My daughter choked out on the other line
"Blimy sweetie what's happened?" I asked as I leaned onto the table the phone was on.
"Jake. H-he walked away from me and kissed another girl." She cried softly. "He broke my heart." She than said.
"Daddy pick me up." She said "And could you come in the TARDIS?" She asked
"Yeah. Sure sweetie." I said "I'll be there soon." I said
"Okay daddy." She said. We both hung up and I got the key to the TARDIS, than walking outside. I walked up to the TARDIS and unlocked the door to lazy to snap.
I than walked up to the consul and began to pull levers and push buttons and flip switches. The TARDIS lurged forwards and I fell down.
"Blimy!' I yelled as I hit the consul with my side. I quickly stood and held on to a handle bar like thing. When everything stopped moving, I knew I had landed. I stepped out and I was just in front of the school. Christina sat on a park bench, she being a rebel this year had work black skinny jeans, a purple t-shirt that barely hugged her skin and a pair of black converse.
She and her friend Destiny had done that this year. but Destiny wore purple skinny jeans and a black shirt.
"Sweetie?" I asked. she looked over
"Daddy." She said getting up and running over to hug me. I hugged her tightly
"It's okay. I'm here." I said as she cried into my shoulder.
"He told me I should talk a hike." She said. I rubbed her back. "told me I should take dance lessons." She than said. We pulled away from the hug and I wiped off the tears from under her eyes.
"Well why don't we show him he's wrong?" I asked. She gave a small smile understanding what I was saying.
"Yeah. Why don't we." She said. I nodded and we walked inside the school. The Gymnasium was decorated for the dance and the lights were dim.
"Hey look at the man Dorktina brought, he must be blind." said one girl. I nearly wanted to punch someone or something but I held it together. Jake, a young man who's an inch or two taller than me looked at us and glared. Destiny looked and smiled. A lot of people were looking at us. Most were slow dancing.
"Ready?" She asked. I nodded. I put an arm around her waist and we connected hands and began to dance with the the slow dancing croud who din't seam to notice us.
"Who is that?" Some people asked
"Is that her boyfriend?" Some asked
"No. That's her dad." Destiny said. some people gasped at that
"Her dad? He looks so young." Some people said. I spun her one or two times and than the song ended. We stopped dancing and Destiny began to clap. She ran up to us
"That was wonderful! Fantastic!" Destiny exclaimed and she smiled.
"Thanks." She said with a smile.
"Well Christina we should go." I said. She nodded and with that, we left the dance and went home.
