A Word from the Author: Hello everyone, this is jediclonecowgirl, with a new chapter of "Legacy of Windy II". Well…it's been quite a while, since we had tests and exams, but well…better late then never. Let's get started shall we?

"Homework for next lesson is an essay about the basic knowledge about stunning spells. You are dismissed.", Professor Tarnis said.

Lily noticed Remus flinch away on his chair and so did the other boys. Lily raised her eyebrows in concern and confusion. Sirius, James and Peter noticed it, but Remus raced outta the DADA classroom quickly. Lily scrambled up her books, parchment and her quill and raced after Remus. She had to push herself through quite a great bunch of students though and as she had managed to get past a group of seventh years, she had lost track of Remus. She could feel someone else tapping on her shoulder though. As she turned around, she could see Sirius holding her book bag. Behind him James and Peter had caught up too.

"You left your book bag Lily.", Sirius murmured.

Lily gratefully took her bag and stuffed her books, parchment and quill right in. After closing it and tossing it over her shoulder, she looked into the direction Remus had disappeared in.

"What was that?", James asked.

James was hloding a bunch of books himself. The most of them belonged to Remus, so he obviously was keen on giving them back to him.

"I don't know…maybe we can ask him, after recess. I don't think we will find him now.", Lily whispered.

"Lily…have you already forgotten?", Sirius asked and opened his book bag.

He looked around in it for a few seconds, until he revealed the piece of parchment, he was looking for. Their map of Hogwarts. James pulled out his wand and gave it a tap.

"I solemnly swear, that I am up to no good.", James said.

The lines of ink on the parchment got visible, as soon as James pulled his wand away from it. Unfortunately the map was no use to them at all. There was no dot, that marked the people at Hogwarts, with Remus's name on it.

"Mischief managed.", Lily said then, giving the map a tap with her wand.

"Well, that was a big waste of time!", Sirius growled.

"Any other ideas?", James asked.

Lily shook her head, Sirius shrugged and Peter did not budge at all. James sighed. Apperantly Lily wasn't the only one, who thought, that Remus's behavior this year was incredibly strange. Maybe the business with his family was getting to him. If this really was the case, he would probably have to stop going home, because of catastrophes, since there was the possibility, that he would end up in the hospital wing, if this kept going…or worse. The friends made their way to the transfiguration country yard. Remus wasn't there either. James was having trouble getting Remus's stuff into his book bag. Neither of them said a word. Lily knew, that questions about Remus and his behavior of this year were burning themselves into their minds. She could see it at the eyes of the boys. Sooner or later Sirius drew them all into a conversation about the Quidditch competition of this year and of the chances of Gryffindor taking in the Quidditch cup. Lily was only listening with half an ear though. She was too worried about Remus.

"Lily…Lils are you there?", Sirius suddenly asked, ripping her outta her thoughts with it.

"Uhh…what?", Lily murmured, looking into Sirius's direction confused.

"Told you she was worring her pretty little head off.", James said.

"I know you're worried…I'm worried too. Maybe he just wants to study all DADA stuff to last him until next year…we'll surely see him again in the next class.", Sirius said, in a weak attempt to joke.

Still…Remus didn't show up for the next class and stayed away the rest of the day. Some of the teachers didn't even seem to notice, that he was gone and, if they did, they would not show it in front of the second years. Not even McGonnagall and she was the head of Gryffindor. After class they went to look for Remus. No success. Lily, James and Sirius went to Quidditch practise and expected Remus to sit on the stands to watch them, but all they noticed on the stands were Regulus and Lovegood. They waited all through practise, but Remus had practically disappeared from the face of the earth.

"KEEPER GIRL!", Mary yelled and ripped Lily outta her thoughts with it.

Lily could barely kick away the Quaffle shot from Mary. Frank Longbottom flew past her and he didn't look like Lily could talk herself outta the situation at him.

"What is up with you today?", he growled.

"With you three.", Alice added.

Frank and Alice had set off like firecrackers, but they were right of course. Sirius had almost managed to get himself de-headed by a bludger and James…well…James had flown straight into the forest, because he had let the snitch escape and he wasn't back yet. Brick called off the practise after a bit more mayhem, since he didn't want his players start duelling each other. He kept Lily, James and Sirius back for a bit more time though.

"I took you on, because you were good, but if you can't take the practises seriously, your entire purpose to play is in question.", Jordan said.

"Sorry Brick…we really want to play Quidditch and we DO take team practise seriously…it's just…", Lily mumbled and then stopped abruptly.

"Our friend Remus has disappeared after our DADA class. Nobody has seen him since then.", James luckily took over and Brick let out a sigh.

"I see…have been into similar situations. Still…when this happens I always say to myself: "I won't let myself be distracted now, I'll solve the problem later and focus on the game now. We're gonna win!". ", Brick said.

"Maybe you're right. We'll…try.", Sirius said.

After this joyful encounter Brick dismissed them off in the locker room, where they changed outta their Quidditch uniforms.

"Done deal. Let's hit the showers.", James said.

Later they were walking up to their tower. This was probably the worst day of their lives…no…not the worst, but the day, where they had worried about Remus the most.

"Don't you think it's suspicious boys?", Lily asked, as they were sitting in the boy's dorm of the Gryffindor second year boys.

"What?", Peter asked.

"Think of it that way you dunderhead! Remus is always granted time off on family matter, but this time Remus just ran off. Something must definatly be up.", James mumbled.

"Maybe he just knew, that he had to take care of family and didn't want to let us know, that he was leaving, since he thought, that we knew the drill.", Sirius murmured.

"I don't know how you guys see it, but maybe Sirius is right. Maybe he is just messed up with all that stuff.", Lily murmured.

They did homework together. Remus didn't return. They talked, until Lily had to leave for bed. Sleep didn't want to find her though. She only layed on her bed into red shorts, a golden shirt and white socks, what served as her PJ's for now. She was reading the prank book, that Sirius had given her for Christmas last year. The day after tomorrow was Halloween and they wanted to ready everything for the prank the night before. Would Remus be back then? Would he be alright? A slight breeze came through the curtains of her bed and blew her hair. Her hand reached for the wooden ring, with her name engraved upon it, like it had been a pure instinct. Still…at the next moment, Lily felt dizzy and fell backwards on her bed. She took a few heavy breathes and then scrambled himself up again and slipped off her bed. A window of the dorm was opened and it was a bit windy outside. Lily quickly slammed it shut.

Ending Word: Well…they are getting closer to uncovering the secret, but there is still going to be some funny stuff in this, like Halloween or Quidditch and Xeno and Lily bonding a bit, as well as Lily and Kingsley…Lily will uncover, that Kingsley isn't such a sociopath after all. Well…I hope, that you will leave some reviews behind. This was jediclonecowgirl, with the twelvth chapter of "Legacy of Windy II" singing off with bye, bye and mischief managed.
