Would you guys like to hear more chapters from Edwards pov? Let me know!
It was the morning of the Saturday of our schedualed adventure to first beach and to my utter belwilderment the sun had finally shone through the clouds. It looked so beautiful out that I even tempted fait by not bringing my rain coat. Having it with me just felt like a bad omen.
I met up with everyone infront of the convenience store Mikes parents owned. It looked like everyone was taking advantage of the warm weather by pulling out the tee shirts and capries.
"Ready to go?" Mike asked shutting the trunk of his miny van. "You can ride shot gun." He said. So I sat shot gun with the window rolled down embracing the beauty of the sun trying to ignore the chill breeze.
I had talked to Dr. Cullen the other day about my returning senses and he attributed it to the progress my physical body was making. That did little to ease my worry. The fact that I had already planned the trip to seatile with Edward, and got permission from Charlie helped ease my mind a little. On the other hand knowing that I would be spending the weekened in seatile with Edward added a whole other pile of concers to my lists. Of course I would have to tackle first beach and port angeles with Jessica and angela first.
Jessica sat beside me and the whole way to the beach all she talked about was our upcoming shopping trip. "I'm thinking of getting a dress in pink, but I don't know if I should because that's so over done. What do you think would pink suite me?" I would agree with her at every point she made, yes pink would look nice, no your hair should be down. All the while trying not to hyperventilate.
A short while into the trip my phone went off. I tried to descreatly checked the called id with out Jessica noticing but failed misrebly. "OMG EDWARD?" she mouted enthusiastically. I ignored her and answered the phone before he hung up.
"Hello?" I said while Jessica tried to press her ear against the phone too.
"Hey what are you doing tonight?" his voice sounded like smooth butter flowing out of my reciver.
"Not sure why?" I asked my heart beating through my chest.
"I was thinking we could work on the assignment from Fridays class if your not busy." It was a weak excuse, I was practically finished my half and I would bet money he was already done.
"Sure what time?"
"Around six?" he said, I could imagin his smile.
"Okay I'll see you then."
I closed my phone and the world around me slowly came back to life.
"Oh my God, what did he want?" Jessica asked her eyes ablazed with excitement.
"Who was it?" Mike asked.
"No one." I said at the same time Jessica blurted out "Edward Cullen."
"You didn't invite him did you?" mike asked jelouse creeoing into his voice.
"No." I said thankful that at that moment we had reached our destination.
We made camp just off the shore, some people went to unload the cars and others went to collect fire wood. I got up to help but by the time I evaded Jessica and her countless question the work was already done.
Mike lit the fire and to my complete amazement it burned blue.
"Have you never seen a drift wood fire?" Eric asked. He was sitting next to Angela who was on my left. It was a relief to be sitting next to her, she was the only one who didn't like to play the game lets ask bella a thousand questions about Edward.
Jessica was winning at this point but she had gone to hand out lunch with lauren.
We had all settled in around the fire, tyler had brought a CD player and with the warm blue flame it was a really calming astmosohere.
I was talking to angela about her younger siblings when out of no where there was an arm around my shoulders.
"Hey Bella," Jacob said. He sat down next to me. There were a few other kids from the reservation who had come with him. Most people seemed to know each other but there were a few who looked older who didn't seem that keen to socialize.
"You know Jacob, Bella?" lauren asked from beside tyler.
"Yea." I said not keen in elabourating.
"We go way back." Jacob said giving my shoulders another squeeze, which I found more than uncomfortable. "Oh so I think I might be able to get that dent out the bumper, I ment to come over yesterday but I didn't get the chance. Maybe tonight." He said it more enthusiastically than a busted car bumper required.
"I wont be home tonight." I said, this usually would have been the moment where blood would rush to my checks.
"Oh why not?" he asked. He was probably just making conversation but I didn't like his tone, it was far too inquisitive.
For once jessicas noisiness paid off. "It's a shame you didn't invite Edward." She said arousing the interest of more people than just Lauren.
"Edward Cullen?" Jacob asked.
"Do you know him?" Lauren suddenly looked very alert.
"The cullens don't come here." One of the older looking guys said giving me the stink eye. I was suddenly very self concious.
Could he see me for what I actually was?
