Alec's mouth was so close to Magnus' when he woke up; he couldn't resist resting his mouth on Alec's again. His body felt alive and humming and the feeling of Alec's naked body only amplified it. Slowly Magnus ran his fingers over Alec's upper arms and wrapped his bare leg around Alec's hip, he wasn't trying to wake up him, but then again he was trying to wake him up.
Admiring Alec was something Magnus liked to do; his hands couldn't help but wander all over his skin. His pink nipples responded to Magnus' touch, and his stomach twitched as Alec's breathing quickened. Alec was a heavy sleeper, but he shuddered and opened his eyes as Magnus moved his hands between Alec's legs.
"Magnus?" Alec asked hazily, his mouth still touch Magnus', "What are you doing?"
Shushing him, Magnus wrapped his arms around Alec's torso and pulled their chests together. Alec slid his hands over Magnus' chest and sucked in a big breath, "Alec," Magnus said, "I love you."
"I love you too," Alec replied, "But I'm so tired, what time is it?"
Magnus broke away from Alec's face quickly to glance at the digital clock on the table, it was three in the morning, "It's too early," Magnus hissed dropping back down into the pillows, but he still moved his hands to Alec's backside and dug his fingers into the flesh.
Air caught in the back of Alec's throat and he jerked his hips into Magnus, his voice was a hoarse whisper, "Are you trying to tell me something?"
Magnus pulled his hands away from Alec's behind grabbed under his upper arms. He slowly pulled his body up and pinned Alec down into the bed, his leg sliding over Alec's hips, "I want you to fuck me, Alec."
Alec still had his eyes closed and he pouted, "But I'm so, so tired."
"The thing grinding into me tells me otherwise," Magnus countered.
Pulling his arms out of Magnus' reach, he swung them around to grab Magnus' rear. Magnus exhaled as Alec kneaded him, his fingers dangerously close to his entrance. Leaning his head back, Magnus ground himself against Alec and he jerked his hips upward.
"Does this happen often?" Alec asked, speaking between his teeth, "You just wake up wanting sex?"
Magnus chuckled, "This isn't normal for me," Magnus leaned forward and kissed Alec, his lips working slowly against his. A soft moan escaped Alec as Magnus ran his hands over Alec's chest, his hips bucking upwards as they continued to kiss.
"Magnus," Alec said, breaking away from Magnus' mouth, "Please don't tease me."
The soft plea Alec gave was helpless, "I don't mean to," Magnus replied, "Do you want me?"
Whining, Alec nodded his head helplessly. Magnus slid himself back a little more and he could feel Alec pressing even harder into him, "Wait," Alec said against his mouth, "What if I hurt you? We have to-"
Magnus covered Alec's mouth with the palm of his hand, "I'm fine," Magnus said with resolve so he would get it the first time, "I can handle anything you have to offer."
He could the see the panic in Alec's eyes and to reassure him, Magnus reached behind himself and grabbed Alec's cock. The pain that followed after Magnus impaled himself on Alec was intense, but he bit his lip and remained silent.
"Magnus," Alec's voice was airy and struggled, "Oh my god, are you okay?"
Magnus saw the desire in Alec's eyes as Magnus held him there, unmoving. Alec was waiting for a sign that it was okay to do something, but Alec's size was so massive that Magnus needed a moment before he could even speak.
"I'm fine," Magnus finally managed, keeping his voice even, "You're a lot to take in."
Alec let out a chuckle, and Magnus could feel every vibration of his body, he winced in pain and Alec noticed, "No," Alec pushed himself up with his elbows, "Magnus, seriously we should get some lube or something."
Grabbing Alec's shoulders and pinning him down, Magnus looked at him, "Just take me like this," he pleaded, "I'm fine, please just don't stop now, it'll drive me crazy."
A lot of conflict was in Alec's eyes, his face was hazy with sleep and desire, "Fine," he said tightly, "But you have to tell me when you are ready, and if you need to stop."
Nodding, Magnus took several deep breaths, allowing his body time to adjust. Alec's hands were at his hips, his thumbs working small circles on his pelvis. Gently Magnus moved his hips a little, Magnus hoped it was sign enough.
Alec's breath hitched in the back of his throat, his eyes wide and glassy, "Is it okay?" Magnus leaned down and kissed the side of Alec's mouth, "Do you want me to go faster?"
The breath Alec had been holding in came out in a hiss as he nodded his head. It was amazing how Magnus could take control of the boy, his body quivering just for Magnus.
Picking up the pace, and ignoring the pain, Magnus started to ride Alec with more resolve. Alec's dick was hitting his prostate with great force, and Magnus couldn't control his body. Although he was riding Alec raw, he couldn't stop. Every movement of his hips splashed him with a wave of pleasure.
"Magnus," Alec cried, " I'm going to come."
Then Magnus sped up more, he wasn't sure if it was for Alec or for himself. Alec grabbed at Magnus' shaft and stroked it firmly, his hand grabbing the precome leaking out of Magnus and using it as lube.
Starting at his thighs his muscles clenched, and then his orgasm burst from his center and rushed through him onto Alec's stomach.
Simultaneously, a hot rush flooded into Magnus as Alec came inside of him. Alec's stomach muscles were tight as his torso rose from the bed and his jaw was clenched tightly as if he was holding in a cry. His fingernails were digging into to Magnus' hips, "Alec." Magnus wheezed, "You can let go, cry out if you must."
The grip Alec had on Magnus loosened and he eased slowly into the bed, "I'm sorry, I was trying to be careful."
Magnus climbed off Alec and fell to his right, "Careful of what?"
"This was just so sudden," Alec's eyes looked heavy, "I wish you would have let me prepare you a little better."
With a small laugh, Magnus reached over to Alec and cupped his face with his hand, "Don't worry, that was good for me." He pressed a small kiss to the side of Alec's face, "Don't think too much about it, let's just go back to sleep."
Magnus pressed his body closer to Alec, their skin sliding over each other. Alec smelled like sweat, salt and laundry soap, "I love you," he whispered softly in Magnus' hair.
"I love you too," Magnus replied, and again they fell asleep, wrapped in each other's arms.
….
"Where's the cereal?" Alec reached for a bowl in the cabinet and looked back at Magnus.
"It's in there," Magnus pointed to the pantry door next to the refrigerator, "Fourth shelf."
Alec turned away again, he was wearing only his boxers and Magnus could see the shape of his rear underneath the fabric. He seriously needed to get dressed again or Magnus was going to do unspeakable things to him in the kitchen, "Is it okay if I have this one?" He pulled out a box of Honey Bunches of Oats.
"You can have whatever you want."
Alec poured himself a bowl and asked, "Do you want one?"
"I'm not feeling hungry," Magnus said, "Thanks though."
Once Alec had sat down with his cereal, he smashed it down with his spoon into the milk slowly, "Magnus," he said, "My mom's funeral is tomorrow." His voice was thick, "Are you still going to come with me?"
"Of course," Magnus tried to keep a level tone, he didn't want to say anything incorrectly to set Alec off, "I promised, didn't I?"
"Yeah," he looked down at the bowl, hiding his eyes behind his long bangs, "I just don't want you to feel too pressured, but I need you there."
Magnus reached over and covered Alec's free hand with his own, "And I want to be there for you, okay?"
Alec looked back up at Magnus, his eyes were swimming, "Thank you," he said, "Thank you so much."
After they ate, the two got ready to go out. Magnus convinced Alec to go up to the woods nearby to see the snow alone. It had snowed overnight, but it was light in the town. It snowed considerably in the upper parts of the town where all the rich families lived.
The bundled up and drove into the hills. The woods were silent and Magnus took many pictures of Alec. He tried to act like he didn't like his picture taken, but Magnus couldn't stop. His boy was just too beautiful.
Cold and tired from playing in the snow, Magnus drove back down to the town, "Would you like to go over to McMinnville? We could get something nicer to eat."
Sheridan only had two places you could sit down and eat at, and they were both low quality chinese places, "I'd like that."
On the way over Alec managed to convince to let him read some of his writing, he would never let anyone read it, Alec was the only exception.
They rolled into town and found a small japanese place. Alec and Magnus picked some sushi rolls and Yakisoba, "This is my first time trying sushi," Alec told Magnus, "I really hope I like it."
"If you don't," Magnus picked up his chopsticks and split them apart from each other, "We can get something else if you're still hungry."
The meal came and Alec realized he loved wasabi. He piled the paste on his pieces of sushi and Magnus pushed his helping of it to Alec, "How can eat all that? I can only handle a little at a time."
"I don't know," Alec licked his fingers and smiled, "It's so pungent and hot, it makes the sushi taste better."
"So you don't like it without the wasabi?"
"I like it without," Alec said, he took a drink of his soda, "I just prefer it like this."
They finished their meal and left the restaurant, the snow had started falling again and the the trees on Third Street were laced with christmas lights, "Would you like to take a walk?"
Alec nodded and started to walk with his hands in his pockets. Magnus took a quick glance around the street- it was, save for a few shop owners, deserted. Quickly Magnus grabbed Alec's wrist and pulled it out of his pocket. Magnus laced his fingers around Alec's and he didn't pull away, he just stopped and look at Magnus concerned, "What if someone sees us?"
"I don't care," Magnus leaned in close, "No one here really knows us anyway."
Magnus could feel Alec's hands shaking a bit, but he still didn't let go, "Okay, but if someone says something-"
"I shall raise our hands high," Magnus said with a humorous tone, "And proclaim our love for each other."
"Could you please not do that?"
Promising Alec he wouldn't do that, even though he secretly wanted to, the two headed down the white glowing street. The passed by several small shops, bars and coffee places, "Do you want to get some coffee?" Magnus asked, "They roast their beans in this shop, it's really nice."
Alec let go of Magnus' hand, "Yeah," he blushed, "I could go for some good coffee."
When they walked in, Magnus was assaulted by the smell of freshly roasted coffee beans. The floorboards creaked under Magnus' as he walked, and walls were made from worn red bricks. A girl sat behind the counter, she had long wavy blonde hair and a haughty expression. She would have been beautiful if she didn't didn't scowl the way she was.
The coffee list was hand written in chalk, and there was large tray with many homemade pastry, Magnus would have gotten one if he wasn't full from dinner, "What are thinking about getting?" Magnus nudged Alec's side.
"I think I want the dirty chai latte," Alec said.
"Sounds good," Magnus walked loser to the counter and looked at the girl, he saw her name tag read 'Emma.' She pulled her lips into a thin smile.
"What can I get for you?" she asked.
"Can I get one dirty chai latte," Magnus pulled out his wallet, "And one hazelnut mocha? The 16oz sizes on both, please."
Emma punched in a few things on the register, "That will be 8.00." She took Magnus' card, scanned it and then handed it back to him, "I will have that ready for you in a bit."
Magnus found Alec sitting at one of the window seats, next to the giant wooden barrel that sat in the middle of the shop. His hands were folded loosely in his lap, the lights outside reflected off his blue eyes. He looked over at Magnus and a small smile touched his lips. Magnus waved at him and returned the smile.
"Here," the barista said and Magnus turned around, she held two massive coffee mugs, "This one is the hazelnut." She gestured towards her right hand and placed the mugs down on the wood counter, "Enjoy." she turned her back again and went into the back.
Magnus grabbed up the mugs and took a small sip of his mocha, it was chocolaty and sweet, it was perfect. Carefully, Magnus carried the mugs over to the table Alec had found and set them down, "Those are the biggest mugs of espresso I have ever seen." Alec said, his eyes widening.
"It's some great coffee," Magnus slid Alec's mug towards him as he took another drink of his own, "You know, this town could be charming." Magnus observed as an elderly couple walked by the window.
"Maybe if it wasn't infested with rednecks," Alec rolled his eyes, "I used to live here actually, it's not amazing. I used to get bullied badly at the school here."
"Why?"
"The kids said I was caught kissing another boy," Alec mumbled.
"Did you kiss another boy?" Magnus leaned forward and raised his eyebrow, he was dying to know.
"Erm," Alec blushed and scratched the back of his neck, "He tried to kiss me, and when I told him I didn't like him that way, he told everyone I was gay."
"What a scoundrel," Magnus said, he balled his fist and shook it in the air, "We should go find him and tell him he was wrong!"
Alec laughed, "He wasn't wrong, his timing was just bad."
"Oh, well," Magnus released his fist and placed it back down on the table, "Timing is everything."
They drove back home after their coffee, Magnus slid his hand over Alec's as he drove. Alec looked over to Magnus, an odd sort of look was on his face. Magnus knew that Alec's mind was a whirlwind of emotion, so Magnus expected Alec to act withdrawn.
Magnus took Alec back to his house and cooked him dinner, this time his father didn't make an appearance. They went back to his room and made love to each other, Magnus kissed him as sweetly as he could. Magnus was suddenly fearful for them.
He didn't want Alec to go.
Long after Alec had fallen asleep, Magnus looked over him, listening to his soft breathing. Magnus ran his fingers over the skin of his neck, and pressed soft kisses to his lips. This was his boy, and Magnus wanted to steal him and take him far away, if only Alec would let him.
Alec opened his eyes and looked at Magnus, "You're still awake?"
"I was just watching you," Magnus said, "I'm sorry."
"Are you having a hard time falling asleep?" Alec sat up a little.
Magnus pushed him back down and inched up against him, "I'm not." He pressed a kiss to Alec's mouth, "Let's fall asleep together."
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
Alec stood to the right of Magnus, his hand clasped to Magnus' as Alec faced the casket being laid down into the earth. Everyone around them were in dark clothing, and the snow fell silently.
Isabelle stood far away from the crowd of people, she wore a bright red scarf with her black coat and boots. The makeup on hers eyes were smudged from crying, and her mouth was a red line of agony. No matter what Simon said to her, she wouldn't go to the group of people, she would just follow behind.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Men shoveled dirt into the place that Maryse was now resting, Jace stood next to Robert, his dark jacket made his yellow hair stand out dramatically. To his right stood Clary, her red hair was pulled into a tight bun, her fingers laced loosely with Jace's.
"The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death."
Alec faltered and fell to his knees. Magnus tried to pull him up, but he refused to move. Alec's whole body shook as he held in his sobs, and Magnus rubbed his back, "It's okay," Magnus whispered in his ear, "Let it out."
Shaking his head, Alec clamped his mouth together, his face a bright red. The other attendees stared at them, Magnus wanted to shout at them to help him, to say something comforting. But he knew he would receive nothing of the sort.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
The service ended, and the only people who remained at the burial site were Alec, Magnus, and Isabelle. After everyone left, Isabelle made her way over, herred from the cold and crying, "Alec," She said, "You should get up out of the snow, it will ruin your cheeks suit."
"I don't care," Alec had finally spoken, he was silent the whole time and Magnus was missing his voice, "It's just a suit."
"Well, then get up for me," There was a crack in Isabelle's voice, "I really need my brother right now."
Magnus helped Alec up, and he faced his sister. The stared at each other for a moment, taking each other in. "I'm sorry Iz," Alec said as he reached for his younger sister and pulled her into a hug, "I wish I could bring her back."
"Me too," Isabelle said, her head slumping on her brothers' shoulder.
"I'll call you as soon as I get there," Alec was standing outside of his now empty house, and Magnus held onto Alec's hands. "And then we can start making plans about seeing each other, or something."
Magnus didn't say anything, he just gave Alec a kiss. They stared at each other, Alec's blue eyes were filled to the brim with tears. Robert honked the horn to one of their moving vans, and Alec jumped.
"You better go," Magnus sighed, dropping Alec's hands and grabbing his shoulders, "I'll wait for your call."
"Okay," Alec leaned himself into Magnus' arms, "I love you, you know that right?"
"I love you too," Magnus said back, kissing the top of Alec's head and taking in his scent one more time, "We're going to be okay."
Alec pulled away, nodding, "We will be," Alec tried to smile, "I'm too stubborn for us not to."
Another blare of the car horn, Magnus wanted to punch Robert, "I'll see you, Alexander Lightwood."
Phone call after phone call, and Magnus still missed Alec.
"I need to see you," Alec said after two weeks of being apart, "I'm starting to lose my mind."
"Me too," Magnus was sitting in his car, he had just gotten out of school, "Camille won't leave me alone. She seems to think that with you out of town, I'm just supposed to get back together with her."
"Will you?" Alec's voice cracked.
"Oh heavens no!" Magnus laughed, "That woman is a leech, she sucks the happiness out of you." Alec was silent, that wasn't good.
"Hey," Magnus tried, "Really, I'm not looking for anyone else, okay?"
"Okay," Alec said, "I've got to go, this new school has a lot of homework."
"Alright. I love you, Alec."
"I love you too, Magnus."
And just like that, Alec was gone again.
