Chapter 12

Unison

A/N: I think I'll add a lot more romance for Jibbs and Tiva in this chapter. Enjoy and thank you to everyone who has reviewed/favourited/followed. It's always appreciated.

Previously:

Abby and McGee started to hack the CIA, but 5 minutes into their hacking, Abby got a call from someone. Abby thought it could Jenny in trouble, and stopped to answer it. Ducky called and informed her that Gibbs has gone missing also. McGee came to Abby's side to comfort her as the best he could.

Gibbs woke Jenny up once he woke up in a mysterious place. The man who held Jenny hostage the first time entered the room Jenny and Gibbs were in. The evil man explained to Jenny and Gibbs there is no deals, and they must do what he says or else death will come to them.

Two men entered the room with needles in their hands. "What is this?!" Gibbs shouted as he tried to escape from the chair he was strapped to.

"I suggest you calm down, Mr. Gibbs. There would be less pain. It's just one quick shot before you are off on your adventure," the man explained. The man with the needle inserted the needle into the back of Gibbs' neck. The needle was removed in seconds.

The second man who had the needle did the same thing with Jenny, but she didn't squirm like Gibbs because of her injury.

Tony was in his apartment trying to sleep, but his mind was too active with only the thoughts of Ziva and Jeanne. Suddenly, his phone rang. He hoped it was a case, but it was Abby. "Tony, you need to come here," she said quietly and seriously.

"Why? What happened?" he asked with concern. Abby told him that she would explain once he got to NCIS. He said he would be there in 30.

Abby explained to Tony that Gibbs has gone missing also, and started to cry. He comforted her as he said he blamed himself for Gibbs to go missing. Abby had an idea about Mike Franks with them, and called him.

Mike Franks explained that Gibbs got Jenny, and was heading back to NCIS. He didn't know anything else.

Gibbs woke up alone in a room, most likely a hotel, with files and passports. He learned they were going to pose as arm dealers.

Location: Unknown

Gibbs was bored out of his mind in the mysterious room. He looked out the window and noticed it as a third world country. There were flea markets on the sides of the street with many people scanning at the items.

He moved away from the window, and sat on the bed. The bed seems hard, like it was made of bricks. It was better than nothing though.

Suddenly, the door opened to the room. Gibbs stood up as he heard the noise. He started to walk to the door when a woman was thrown into the room. It was Jenny. She was lying on the ground, unconscious from whatever drug they gave her.

Her body looked lifeless and small, carrying so much pain.

He crouched down beside her, and looked at her stomach. There was no blood. He was hesitant if he should check or not, but he concluded to check, just in case. He put his left hand under her shirt, and on to her stomach. There was no blood.

Gibbs removed his hand quickly, and let out a sigh of relief. They did stitch her up like the man who seemed in charge said they would.

Jethro lifted her body off the dusty ground, and on to the bed. She stirred a bit, probably because it was much more comfortable than the ground. "Jethro," she whispered. Gibbs sat down on the bed beside her. He put a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm here Jen," he replied. She turned herself to face Gibbs' direction.

"Jethro," she repeated as her eyes started to open. She looked in front of her and noticed an unfamiliarity to the room. Her body jumped up.

"Jethro!" she screamed. Gibbs reacted, and moved Jenny on to his lap.

"Hey, hey. Jen, it's okay. I'm here," he explained. "Just don't move. Your stitches may reopen, and this time, we don't have those people to restitch you, and there probably isn't a good hospital in the area." Jenny gazed into his deep blue eyes that reminded her of water moving up and down on a beach.

She told, "It hurts." He nodded.

"I know Jen. But for now, you have to hang on. Understand?" he reassured. Jenny nodded her head slowly. "Go to sleep. You should feel better after."

Jenny questioned, "But, how about you? Are you sure you can sit there all day?" He looked at the passports and files at the table. Was there something they wanted the pair to do?

"Here." He moved her head off of him, and on to the pillow on the bed. She moved her legs into her chest, trying to comfort herself.

Gibbs hopped on to the bed, and laid down beside her. Jenny shifted herself to face Gibbs on the bed. "You sure?" she asked tiredly. He gave a slight nod. Jenny inched herself closer to him. She rested her head on his chest, and placed her left hand beside her face. Gibbs wrapped his arms around her, placing his hands on her back. He could feel her chest move up and down with each breath. He quietly gave a sigh, and looked out the window in front of him.

"We'll get through this together. Just like in Paris," he stated, but she was fast-asleep.

NCIS Base

Abby hung up her phone and gave out a small sigh. "Gibbs did have Jenny. Now they are both missing. Why didn't Gibbs tell us that he knew where Jenny was? Why didn't Mike?" Abby said curiously.

Tony responded, "I guess he wasn't sure that Jenny was there, and I think there may be an unresolved chemistry between the two of them that he wanted to fix." Abby started to pace the floor.

"If that was true for mommy and daddy, that would mean that..." she trailed off. McGee stood up.

"What would that mean?" McGee asked. She shook her head as she continued to pace.

She answered, "Nothing. Look we have to find them! I mean, who knows what is happening to them right now. The people who kidnapped Jenny probably have Gibbs too. They could be in trouble. Did someone call Ziva?" Tony and McGee looked at each other, and looked back at Abby.

"I'll go call her," Tim said as he reached for his cellphone and walked out of the room.

Abby stopped pacing and looked at Tony. He looked like he came here in a rush with his hair going in multiple directions, and his jeans wrinkled. Luckily, they weren't meeting somewhere in public.

Abby looked into Tony's hazel eyes. "I'm sorry that I woke you up so early. I mean, I could have called you in the morning," Abby said. Tony gave Abby another, comforting hug.

"There's no need to apologize Abs. You don't need to ask. I'm always there when and wherever you need me," he explained. Abby tightened her grip of Tony before releasing. She gave him a small smile.

"Thanks," Abby told. He nodded.

"You're welcome." McGee stepped back into the room. He clasped his hands together.

Tim said, "Well, Ziva is heading over here." Tony's body got a bit tense, but loosened again. What would Gibbs think if he saw his reaction? Would he get mad at him how Ziva and him couldn't solve a simple problem.

Tony looked at McGee and Abby. They didn't notice his reaction. He gave himself a quiet sigh of relief.

"Excellent!" Abby exclaimed. She looked at her friends who stood there awkwardly.

Tony decided to speak up first out of the two. "So, what were you and McGee doing before I got here, and before you got the phone call from Mike Franks?" Abby shrugged her shoulders as she looked back at her computer.

"We were just trying to figure out what Operation Tiger is," she told Tony. He looked at her confusedly.

"What is Operation Tiger?" he asked. Abby walked to her computer along with McGee. The duo typed something into their computers, and suddenly, something appeared on their computer screens. A file was on the screen.

Tony walked over to the deduction board, where Abby put the file with multiple black lines through certain sentence, on the screen. He started to read the file words that weren't blanked.

"Who's Allison Wallace?" Tony questioned again. Abby looked at Tony.

"Well, first, let me answer that first question. We actually don't know what Operation Tiger is but we know that it's a file that the CIA uses," she explained. "Second, Allison Wallace seems to be an arms-dealer that looks like, or is Harper Lenney. We don't really know much else. That's why, what we were actually doing before getting a phone call from Ducky was..." Abby gazed at the door to see if there was anyone there other than Ziva. There was no one. She looked back at Tony.

She whispered, "Hacking the CIA." Tony nodded.

"And?" he whispered back, even though he didn't need to.

She replied louder so McGee could hear, "We made it only five minutes through before getting a call from Ducky, and McGee cancelled it so they couldn't trace us." Abby turned to face McGee to confirm her story. He gave her a thumbs up. She smiled, and turned towards the deduction board where Tony was.

"Did you get the file?" Tony questioned.

"What file?" a mysterious voice said. The trio turned to the entrance of Abby's lab. There, was Ziva standing there like she has been there the whole time. Tony awkwardly turned away, and looked back at the computer screen.

Abby rushed over to Ziva and gave her a bear-hug. "Ziva! You're here!" Abby cheered. Ziva slowly put her hands around Abby.

"Yes. McGee told me everything. Are you okay?" Ziva said curiously.

She nodded as she started to choke on her words as she said, "I'm fine Ziva. I wish Gibbs and Jenny were here, safe and sound." Ziva tapped Abby's back gently, trying to comfort her friend, probably like Tony and Tim did.

"Let's try to find them. Don't think about what could happen, but what we can do," the Israeli told. Abby released her grip of her, and wiped her eyes to get rid of the small amount of tears that were falling.

"Right. McGee! Let's do it again. No interruptions. Tony! Take my phone and answer it if someone calls," the forensic scientist ordered. McGee quickly scurried to the computer as he started up the beginning.

Abby threw her phone at Tony and he fumbled trying to catch it. Luckily, he caught it before it hit the ground. Abby ran to her computer, getting ready to type rapidly.

Ziva and Tony looked at each other for the first time at the lab. "Um, can you guys handle this for a moment? Ziva and I need to do something," Tony asked.

"Go for it!" she yelled louder than she needed to. Tony gazed into Ziva's eyes. Her brown eyes looked confused to what Tony was thinking.

"Come," Tony said quietly as he headed out the door. Ziva hesitantly followed him out the room.

Once Ziva got out, she looked around. There was no one there, like Tony disappeared without a trace. Ziva moved towards the elevator, just to make sure he wasn't trying to scare her or something like that.

Suddenly, the door closed slightly to Abby's lab. Ziva spun around to face Tony. He was somewhat smiling at her embarrassment. She blushed slightly. Ziva was mad at Tony still, but he was always attractive when laughing.

"We can't act like this between each other," Tony said. Ziva sighed madly as she started to walk closer to him.

"You want to talk about this now. At a time like this?" Ziva said with anger in her voice as she stopped walking towards him. She was probably too close for her liking.

He shrugged. "When will we have a better opportunity to talk about this?" he asked. She thought about his statement for a moment, before realizing he was right.

"Fine," Ziva told. "What do you want to talk about?" Tony looked around the room, trying to collect his thoughts on what he wanted to say. His mouth was about to move, but then he realized he didn't have anything to say. He couldn't speak.

Ziva shook her head in frustration. "Please come talk to me when you have your thoughts together."She started to walk away when Tony spun Ziva around by her wrist, and suddenly kissed her. She stopped moving. Ziva didn't resist him like the last time.

The kiss was very passionate. There was so much passion that Ziva felt her knees start to buckle. She moved her hands to his neck, playing with the hair on the back on his head.

Tony released his grip of her hand, and wrapped his arms around her waist.

After what seemed like forever to the pair, they backed away from each other. Tony and Ziva looked into each other's eyes for reassurance that they did the right thing.

Tony gave Ziva a small smile as he finally felt like he did something right. She gave him the smile he wanted back badly.

"I think that maybe, just to may sure Abby and McGoo don't think that anything was..." he faded. Ziva nodded as she started to walk into Abby's lab alone.

Tony walked to the elevator. Once he got into the elevator, Ziva wasn't at the door anymore.

Location: Unknown

Jenny woke up to the familiar smell of coffee and saw dust. She was resting her head and hands on Gibbs' chest as he slept. The moments coming to this mysterious place was a blur. The only thing she remembered was Gibbs moving her to the bed off the floor. The bed was softer than the floor.

Jenny started to look around the room without moving herself from Gibbs. She didn't want to wake him up, but also she felt comfort in his arms like she did in Paris. She ruined her chance to be with him for work. It wasn't even worth that much to her. She lost so much and only got so little in return.

The former director closed her eyes again, hoping to get more sleep with him before they have to be in separate beds. "Jen," Gibbs said tiredly. Jenny stopped breathing. Did he realize she was up? He was a marine though.

"Yes?" she whispered to him.

"Are you okay?" he asked. Jenny thought back to the last thing she remembered. There was a man, and he stabbed something into her. She moved her hand to her neck to see if there was any pain there.

Gibbs noticed what she was doing, and moved her hair with one of his hands. He shifted his body up slightly so he could see if there something himself. There was only a small bruise there.

"You have a bruise there," he stated. Jenny nodded against his chest.

"I'm fine though," Jenny answered. Gibbs didn't respond though. The only thing she knew he was doing was breathing by the constant movement of his chest going up and down with each breath. Her head move up with each breath.

After a moment, a phone started to ring. It was unfamiliar to them though. Gibbs moved Jenny gently from him on to the bed. Jenny gave a small frown, hoping he didn't notice how much she wanted him to be there.

Gibbs looked around to find where the noise was coming from. He looked at the hallway, and there was a cord-phone on the wall. He picked up the phone. "Hello?" Gibbs said curiously.

"Welcome to Turkey. I assume you are Mr. Wallace," a man's voice told.

Gibbs paused for a moment before answering, "Yes, I am. And who am I speaking to?" There a faint chuckle from the other side of the phone.

"Ah, Mr. Wallace, a bit anxious are we?" the man questioned. Gibbs didn't respond. There was a sudden silence between Gibbs and the man on the phone.

The man continued, "Anyways, we'll meet at the library at 11:30 sharp. I'll see you there." The man hung up the phone before Gibbs could ask anything else. He sighed as he walked back to Jenny.

She was still lying in the same place Gibbs left her. She looked better than the way she was when the people threw her into this room. "So what was that about?" she asked.

"It seems like we are playing Richard and Allison Wallace, who are apparently arms-dealer," Gibbs explained as he walked to the table with the information. He threw Jenny the passports that were on the table. She moved her arms lazily to the passports. She opened them.

"How did they even get these pictures?" Jenny said. He shrugged.

"I don't know," he responded. Jenny knew she had to get up soon, and now was better than never. Jenny got off the bed, and placed the passports on the table.

"Do we have to go somewhere?" He nodded.

"To the library, wherever that is." Suddenly, the phone rang again. Gibbs madly walked to phone.

He madly answered, "What?"

"Look in the closet," the voice said and disconnected the phone. Gibbs hung up the phone.

"Who was it?" asked Jenny. Gibbs ignored her not purposely and walk to the closet in the hallway, and opened it.

Hope there was enough romance in this chapter. Reviews are great. Hope you read more.
