Author's Note: First off, I am so sorry! Ugh, this semester killed me. I was working a lot of hours too and in all honesty, I had no time or energy to write. However, I passed all my classes and my hours have gone down which means more writing time! So unfortunately this is a shorter chapter. However, I promise next chapter will be posted sooner and will be longer. My plan for this story is to pick up where the movie left off, this time only with Jack and Elsa figuring out were their relationship stands. Oh and maybe having to face a few more obstacles along the way... hint hint... Anyways, I hope you like the chapter and comments and reviews are always appreciated. Thank you!

Elsa… What have you done? Her father's voice echoed in her mind.
A tantalizing ringing in her ear finally woke her. She felt dizzy and nauseous. Like the entire room was spinning. Her body ached. An irritating pressure encapsulated her hands. She had enough strength to lift her body off the small cot she was placed on. Her vision still refocusing. A soft light hitting her face.
As she steadily regained consciousness she peered at the light coming from a small window. She ran towards the light only to have her arms torn back. The sound of chains trailing behind. She turned to find herself, her hands, locked within oddly constructed chains. It encapsulated her hands, like they were specifically made for her. Then she realized, they were.
Diligence to control your power…
Her father's words mocked her. You never believed in me… You… you were too afraid. You made the palace a prison, but this? And these? She lifted her hands. Papa, how could you?
She strained herself to get another look out of the window. Just as Anna said. The fjord was completely frozen. Large vessels coated in ice and snow. Everything paralyzed by ice. By her. "Oh no…" She said aloud. Her world shattering. "What have I done?"
The sound of an opening door pulled her back.
Prince Hans entered the room. Hans? Suddenly her memory jolted. The guards… the chandelier. Hans… He brought her back to Arendelle. He saved her.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"I couldn't just let them kill you." He walked towards her. She could see his breath.
"But I'm a danger to Arendelle. Get Anna."
"Anna has not returned."
She turned back to the window. Anna? No…
"If you would just stop the winter. Bring back summer… Please." Hans pleaded.
"Don't you see? I can't…" I can't control the curse…
At that moment Hans realized what he had to do.
"You have to tell them to let me go." Elsa begged.
Funny. A queen pleading for her freedom. "I will do what I can" he spoke beginning to walk away.
She watched him leave the cell.
Everything was falling apart. Don't feel. Don't feel. Her mantra did nothing. Ice began to coat her chains. Elsa stop. Please stop. Controlling her emotions was futile. She looked out the window again. The wind was picking up outside. Twisting and whirling around the large ships. Stop this Elsa. Please.
Ice began to creep up the walls of her cell. She watched as it filled the room. Her chains, completely covered in ice now. She had to get out of here. She tugged on her chains, but with no avail.
"Elsa!" A voice called her name. Jack?
He appeared out of thin air. "I'm going to get you out of here."
She couldn't even speak. Where have you been this whole time? As angry as she was with him, she just wanted to disappear with him. Just wanted run away together. Escape the storm upon them.
They both could hear the guards outside her cell. Their eyes locked. Neither knew how this day would end.
Jack got behind her and quickly grabbed hold of the chains. They both tugged with all their might. Jack knew they were running out of time. Thankfully, the ceiling of the cell began to crumble, blocking the guards from getting to her. With one last tug, Jack freed Elsa from her chains. He turned to the window and shot a blast of ice creating a massive exit for her. He turned to her. "Elsa, run!"
She quickly made her way out of the cell. She looked back at him one last time before she vanished.
Jack watched as his snow queen disappeared into the storm.
