However, secret meddling occurred in which Blaineley directed Ezekiel to switch the votes around to send Sierra home! In the end, Ezekiel messed up and accidentally got Cody eliminated. Not to fear however, Sierra accidentally went with him; being lifted up by the Lift of Losers with no time to escape. With twenty nine contestants left, what dramatic drama will happen next? Will Blaineley's control of her alliance lead to her demise? Will Lindsay uncover the truth about Tyler and Alejandro's relationship? Will Sam and Dakota reconcile before it's too late? Can Dawn forgive Scott? Witness it now on...

TOTAL. DRAMA. FINALE.

The Maggots file into the mess hall and all go to get their breakfast, except for Zoey and Ezekiel. They both come to their team's table, and Zoey makes it a point to sit across from Ezekiel. Zoey isn't hungry, she's too distracted by the racing thoughts of the other night's' elimination ceremony. Zoey had tried to get everyone's attention that the votes had been switched, but no one listened, so Zoey decided to leave it alone. The one thing she feels she has to do now is talk to Ezekiel about it. She can see he seems just as out of sorts as she does and if it isn't addressed, who knows what else could go wrong on the Maggots team. Zoey looks around at the other teams to see her team only has six teammates; compared to the Rats' nine, the Bass' eight and the Gophers' six. Zoey feels humiliated to be at the same rank as the Gophers, considering her team has the same amount of members, despite only losing one challenge. Zoey takes a deep breath, preparing herself to confront Ezekiel.

"Hi Ezekiel." Zoey greets cheerfully. Ezekiel jumps in his seat, being startled by Zoey's speaking to him, since she's hardly given him the time-of-day before now.

"Oh - uh - um...hi Zoey!" Ezekiel nervously mumbles.

"I need to ask you something." Zoey begins. "The other night at the elimination, Blaineley came out and began screaming about Sierra should have gone home and how the votes weren't switched right." Zoey continues, noticing Ezekiel beginning to sweat and anxiously look around the mess hall. "Are you okay?"

"It wasn't me! I didn't switch the votes!" Ezekiel shouts, drawing the mess hall to an awkward silence. "I don't know what happened, really!" Ezekiel says. Ezekiel looks behind Zoey to see Blaineley standing in the distance. She waves her finger back and forth and shakes her head; indicating for Ezekiel to not tell the truth. Zoey already knows the truth, but Blaineley sees that Ezekiel telling the truth is far worse, as it's actual confirmation of what happened.

"What are you looking at?" Zoey asks, turning around in her seat; Blaineley being gone without a trace. Zoey turns back around to Ezekiel, slightly disturbed by his odd behavior. Zoey slides to the other end of the table where Mike, B and Staci have just sit down.

"It doesn't really matter what happened, Sam should have gone home." Mike states. "I think the next challenge we lose, we should vote off Sam. I mean, it's only fair since he really messed up the last one." Mike turns to see Zoey by his side and puts his arm around her. "What do you say?" Mike asks Zoey. Zoey keeps silent, not wanting to create drama by blowing the whistle on Ezekiel. She decides to keep the affair to herself and handle it, if it ever arises again.

"I guess so." Zoey reluctantly agrees. "B"? Zoey asks, looking at B. He shrugs and nods in agreement.

"Yah, my great sister's dad's grandfather, Samuel, created the first vote. Yah, before then people would just not note, and no one would win, and it's be sad. Yah!" Staci lies. "But I'll vote for Sam, he ruined the challenge for us. Such a bummer." The four Maggots look over to see Sam, awkwardly standing in line for breakfast behind Dakota. Several times he attempts to get Dakota's attention but ultimately fails.

Mike:
"Poor Sam. He's trying so hard to work things out with Dakota but she just isn't giving the dude a break. I don't know if he really did what Dakota is accusing him of, but you got to admit that it totally sucks! If this happened with Zoey and I, I don't know what I'd do!"

Sam:
"Dakota and I are working out pretty well. Yeah she beat me up a few days ago, she constantly ignores me and cusses me out all the time but hey - every relationship has its flaws! She just needs to see how determined I am to make this work, then I think she'll finally give in and let me have the chance I deserve."

Dakota:
"Sam is like...a tub of lard. He's greasy, disgusting and is not photogenic. Maybe I have been selfish and haven't given him a chance to work things out, but who cares! I mean look, if your boyfriend cheated on you, you wouldn't just forgive him! Not only does it reflect poorly on your own image, the industry will think less of you!"

"Hey Dakota!" Sam calls out, walking up to Dakota.

"Paparazzi?!" Dakota squeals, turning around to be face to face with Sam. "Oh. I should have known the paparazzi wouldn't have sounded so...fat!" Dakota sticks her tongue out at Sam and walks off to her table.

"No Dakota, please!" Sam cries out to Dakota. Dakota stops in her tracks and slams her tray of food down on her team's table. The mess hall falls silent and stares at the two. "Dakota..."

"Shut up Sam! I'm...I'm sick of this!" Dakota screams half heartedly. "You never loved me. Admit it! I'm so sick of fighting and I'm sick of all of this. I can't do it anymore."

"We don't have to!" Sam says. "We can get through this, please." Sam pleads, taking a few steps closer towards Dakota.

"I...I can't. I'm sorry." Dakota whimpers. She pushes past Sam and runs out of the mess hall in tears. Everyone in the mess hall resumes their conversations and eating of breakfast. Sam hangs his head down in shame and slumps out of the mess hall, on the verge of tears.

"How could Dakota do that?" Courtney complains loudly enough her whole team can hear. "Everyone is going to think out entire team is filled with a bunch of arrogant, entitled, selfish brats! We're by far the strongest team and we can't anyone caving."

"Courtney, Courtney. Reputation is not everything." Alejandro scolds.

"Oh shut the hell up!" Courtney shouts, grabbing Harold's plate of food from him and smacking it into Alejandro's face. Lindsay and Bridgette giggle in delight at Alejandro's misery. "Like you should be laughing!" Courtney snaps at Lindsay.

"What are you talking about?" Lindsay asks, not getting what Courtney is referencing.

"You cheated on Tyler! With Sam! I don't understand why you two haven't worked that out yet." Courtney explains, eyeing both Lindsay and Tyler.

"I tried to mend it during our laser tag challenge, yet Lindsay did not want to." Alejandro says, hoping his words encourage Tyler to break up with Lindsay.

"Oh..." Lindsay mutters.

"Linds." Tyler starts. "We should talk about it. Y'know? Why it happened? Why you never told me?"

"Irony!" Courtney whistles, glancing over to Alejandro. "Why don't you go wash that food off your face?" Courtney jeers, prompting Alejandro to get up and leave.

Harold looks Courtney up and down. He points to his empty plate on the ground. Courtney looks down at the plate and shrugs. Harold sighs in frustration. and gets up to go get more breakfast. Harold arrives at the counter where the breakfast usually is, but there's no food left. He looks around the mess hall to see everyone else already has their food, and assumes Chef must of put it up. As Harold begins to walk back to his table, he hears someone whisper his name. He turns back around, listening for the whisper again. It's coming from the kitchen! Harold presses his ear against the door to the kitchen and listens, just to hear the whisper again. The door opens up and a hand grabs Harold and yanks him into the kitchen. Harold wildly karate chops, attempting to fight off his assumed assailant. Harold's useless skills and misdirection cause him to end up smacking himself in the face. He stumbles back and regains his focus to see Blaineley standing in front of him; arms crossed and shaking her head.

"You." Blaineley says. "You're going to be part of my alliance." Blaineley continues. Harold opens his mouth to speak, but Blaineley puts a finger to his lips to silence him. "Eva and Ezekiel are already part of it. We need a member on each team to do my...our bidding."

"No way! You are so mean, and I saw what you did to Bridgette! Sending her off to Siberia!" Harold replies. "Nice try, but you're not going to catch this mouse with that cheese! Find another sucker." Harold turns around and starts out the kitchen.

"Wait!" Blaineley screams, gaining Harold's attention. Blaineley slithers over to Harold and places her hands suggestively on him. "If you join, I'll make sure it's you and me who make it past both merges and to the final three." Blaineley lies. "I promise." She whispers into Harold's ear, running her fingers through his hair.

"Deal." Harold chuckles, sliding his hand onto Blaineley's back. Blaineley screams and smacks Harold's hand away. She pushes him to the side and struts out the kitchen, leaving a winded-up Harold to himself.

Blaineley:
"I'm hot and sexy. It may have not worked with Lightning, but it sure worked with Harold. Now I have an alliance member on every team. Seems Ezekiel has been found out by Zoey, so I doubt he's going to be around much longer. Once he's gone, who would be my player on the Maggots? Zoey seems like someone desperate enough to join up with me, but not with that idiot Mike always cheering her on to be a good person. Whatever! My power is only growing. It's just a matter of time before I win this game."

Harold:
"That...was awesome! Not as awesome as seeing Heather's big boobies in season one though! For the record, I definitely did not join Blaineley's alliance because she was able to make my slinky spring out. Okay...maybe I did. It's time for this guy to find a new girl. Goodbye LeShawna, hello Blaineley!"

Alejandro comes out of the communal washrooms, shaking his hands to dry after he cleaned his face. He looks over and sees Dakota sitting at the Elimination Pit by herself. A feeling of remorse comes over Alejandro for Dakota, but that feeling quickly slips away. A more devious feeling of anger and hatred fills Alejandro's blood. What seemed to be forgotten is now surfacing again: Alejandro's plan to expose Dakota for getting special treatment under Chris. Alejandro plasters on a faux smile and walks over to Dakota with every intention of breaking her apart. Alejandro hates cheaters, but only when it is someone else cheating - and not him. Alejandro approaches Dakota and takes a seat right next to her. She doesn't notice him at first, but when Alejandro put his arm around Dakota, she perks up and lifts her head. She quickly wipes the smeared makeup off of her face in an effort to look nice for Alejandro. Dakota's suppressed feelings for Alejandro begin to emerge, just as Alejandro's suppressed feeling for Dakota boil to the surface. Ironically, the feelings they have for each other are entirely opposite.

"Alejandro." Dakota greets, attempting to sound seductive, but ends up sounding nasally and sickly. "What are you doing here?"

"Just wanted to see how you were." Alejandro says. "Such a shame what keeps happening with Sam."

"It's so hard! But I'm so glad you're here to comfort me." Dakota says, leaning into Alejandro. Alejandro raises his eyebrows, confused by Dakota's affection. "A while back...I told myself I would make you my pet. My - "

"Intern?" Alejandro interrupts. Dakota stands up and looks at Alejandro in disbelief. "Save your pathetic romantic advances. I don't fall for lonely attempts to feel needed by someone. Have you forgot? I know all about your cheating."

"What!? Oh..." Dakota mumbles, remembering Alejandro threatening her the other day. "Well, I just thought - "

"That you'd sweet talk me into dropping it? Just because I made you swoon when I rescued you from that princess tower, doesn't mean I care about you, or care what you feel for me!" Alejandro says. "Our team hasn't lost yet, so you've been safe. You best believe that when the chance comes, you will be gone. I don't want a cheater on my team."

"You don't want a cheater, huh? How about you say that to Lindsay? She kissed Sam!" Dakota says to Alejandro, as he gets up to leave. "Why don't you say that to Tyler!?" Dakota shouts, stopping Alejandro in his tracks. "I know about that. I can play this game too, sweetie." Dakota marches up to Alejandro and stands in front of him with her arms crossed. "You want to play dirty? So. Can. I!"

"Fine. I'm done with these childish threats from both of us. Your fate is sealed." Alejandro growls.

Dakota:
"Wow! I don't know what came over me. I've never stood up to someone like that before. It feels so great! Besides, I am being honest. I can do the whole snitching game. I did it all the time in high school. Alejandro isn't so hunky anymore. He's a total freakin' jerk! How has he not been kicked out of this show already? Also, I'm not even scared of him. Am I? Maybe I should apologize, right?!"

Alejandro:
"Dakota. So tragic. The fact she thinks she is a threat to me is just hilarious! I am not fazed by her attempts to play games with me. She won't say anything about Tyler and I. She's weak and vulnerable. She cares about her image too much to do something to other people that would hurt her. She can fight with Sam all she wants because she knows that is what people expect from her. If she's the victim, it's okay. She'll never be the one who is attacking. She's spineless. And she is out of here. I will expose her cheating, expose Chris' lying, and keep her from attempting to out Tyler and I's romance. I mean...not romance. But. Nevermind!"

"I do miss him, and had so much fun co-hosting the Aftermath show with him. But a few years ago he turned into such a jerk on the show and became this superficial psychopath, kind of like Blaineley." Bridgette tells Dawn. The two girls chuckle with delight at Bridgette's joke. "Last show, it seemed like he was going back to his old ways...and I'd hate for that to happen."

"Geoff has an orange aura. He's always excited and wanting to be busy and come up with stimulating ideas to put on the show. He isn't really a bad guy, he just gets caught up in his head." Dawn explains to Bridgette.

"That makes me feel better." Bridgette sighs with relief. "How about Scott though? I've seen you two talking...well...arguing. What's going on there? You don't have to answer. I don't mean to pry."

"It's fine. I understand others' curiosity. I've told myself, I am through with Scott and I am no longer playing with his games. But his aura is burning red! He's still attracted to me and shows a strong passion for me. As the same time he has overwhelming and conflicting feelings of anxiety and anger. He wants to please me and get back together, but I don't know. I don't think I want to be hurt again by him. He got me and nearly all the other contestants eliminated in the season I was in." Dawn explains.

"I think if he truly shows signs of wanting to change for you then you should let him. He may have failed you in the past, but if you keep rejecting him, you'll never see the progress he's made." Bridgette replies. "You don't want to miss out on something wonderful because you have your doubts. I know I did with Geoff a few years back when I...I made a mistake and it nearly tore us apart. But he gave me the chance to redeem myself and we're still going strong!"

"Thank you Bridgette. You're a kind soul. Mother Nature will bless you for a healthy and happy run in the competition." Dawn says. The two girls smile at each other sweetly, both have to have forged such an authentic friendship.

A loud siren goes off, indicating for all the contestants to be summoned outside for the day's challenge. The contestants all lazily get up and head outside to hear what exciting news will be announced about the challenge. Dawn is the last one to leave from her table. She gets up and comes face to face with Scott, whose standing only feet away from her. Dawn begins to think if Scott heard the entire conversation she just had with Bridgette. Scott's aura still burns red, but something is different about it this time. Scott takes one hand and grabs Dawn's. He places her hand over his heart, and smiles at her. The two exchange a romantic gaze, and Scott bends down and kisses Dawn on the lips. Overcome with joy, Dawn throws her arms around Scott and gives him the tightest hug that she possibly can.

"Does this mean..." Dawn begins, unable to finish her own sentence.

"Dawn, I know I messed up. And I know you know I'm sorry and want to make things right. Here is me making an effort, okay?" Scott says.

"I've shut you down every time you tried...I guess I didn't see how much you really do care for me." Dawn replies. "This is wonderful, Scott. But this is just the first step."

"First...step?" Scott asks, sounding less enthusiastic than before.

"Why, yes. There are still others you've hurt, and now that you've been awarded my forgiveness, you must go to those you've wrong and seek the same redemption. That's how you'll truly earn my love back." Dawn explains.

"Of course!" Scott laughs, hugging Dawn tightly.

Scott:
"I am sorry, but what?! She wants me to now apologize to everyone? I guess this isn't just a thing between Dawn and I, it's with everyone! Man, I finally thought I had it in the bag. And yes, I did hear her talking to Bridgette. I knew she'd come around! I knew everything would work out! I mean, now that I have her back, do I really have to change? If she thinks I've changed, isn't that all that really matters?"

Dawn:
"I am so happy to have Scott back. After his lying and cheating last season, he has redeemed himself. I knew I forgave him too soon when I fell for him in between seasons. But now that things are being repaired, I can trust him and start to love him again. However, I won't start just yet. He has a long list of chores to do before everything is perfect between us!"

'Greetings contestants!" Chris greets with a cheesy smile as the contestants all file out of the mess hall. "For this first part of today's challenge, you will race to the eastern shore of the island. There, you will find a wildly altered environment comprised of a blistering hot desert and a freezing snow storm - all rolled into one! How is it possible? I'm really not sure. Ask a scientist! We have a fun surprise for today, though. The twist for today; the first person to reach me will be excluded from the challenge, as will their entire team! If that doesn't put some pep in your step, I don't know what will. You have until the count of five!" Chris announces to the excited contestants.

"Ok guys, I have an idea." Blaineley says, grabbing onto her alliance members.

"Five!" Chris begins, sending all the contestants into a frenzy.

"Let's all go together. Chris will have to excuse all of us." Blaineley says.

"Four!" Chris continues, as the contestants speed towards the dock.

"This idea sounds so stupid. Screw you!" Eva snarls, stomping off. Blaineley grabs onto Eva's ponytail and yanks her back.

"Three!" Chris goes on, while the contestants make it to the beach.

"I think it's cool, eh?" Ezekiel agrees. "We should all do it, that way we can't go home!"

"Two!" Chris resumes, with nearly all the contestants lined up on the beach to begin the race.

"That isn't even possible! If we all get there, we'd technically all get out of the challenge, as would all our teams!" Harold complains.

"One!" Chris finishes. The contestants all speed down the beach; tripping, falling and shoving all over each other in order to get to the eastern shore first. Blaineley watches as all the contestants run in a frenzy. She desperately looks around, seeing a path in the woods that seems to lead in the same direction.

"Follow me! Now!" Blaineley demands, leading her alliance members to the path in the forest.

Within seconds, Eva gains a significant lead on Blaineley. Eva's distance between Blaineley grows further and further the more they run. Blaineley looks behind her to see Ezekiel and Harold lagging far behind. Blaineley can't let Eva get to the shore first. Blaineley knows her plan won't work and all four of the won't be excluded, but she deems it would have been too suspicious for her to take a shortcut by herself without inviting her alliance members. Blaineley runs past a small rock and swoops it off of the ground. She sprints at full speed to get as close to Eva as she can. Blaineley tosses the rock in front of Eva's feet, causing her to stumble to the ground. Blaineley chuckles as she speeds ahead of Eva. Blaineley glances behind her to see Eva charging at full speed, hardly being stopped by that rock. Blaineley screams in fear as she kicks it into overtime to go as fast as she can. Up ahead Blaineley can see a clearing in the trees. The land in front of her stretches out and drops off, almost like a small cliff. Blaineley makes it through the forest with Eva hot on her heels. In the distance, the rest of the contestants can be seen nearing the eastern shore. As Blaineley gets closer, she can see Chris down on the transformed beach.

Half of the eastern shore seems to be a tundra; cold, frozen and snowing, while the other half is hot, sweltering and humid. Both these environment are inexplicably split right down the middle. A platform rises from the ground, right in the center of the two altered environments. Three large pools sit on the platform, each one big enough for an entire team. Blaineley nears the drop off onto the beach, with Eva only feet behind her. Ezekiel and Harold still struggle to keep up with the two girls, just now making it through the forest and into the clearing. Blaineley reaches the drop off onto the beach and comes to a full stop. She looks over the edge to see it's a considerable distance down. She turns around to look for another way down, and comes face to face with a speeding Eva. Eva smashes right into Blaineley, sending the two girls tumbling off the drop off and right onto the beach. They tumble and roll, ending right at Chris' feet. Blaineley stands, coughing and hacking violently. Eva hops up, clearly unfazed.

"Hello!" Chris greets. "Looks like you ladies made it first!"

"I did it!" Courtney screams, running up to Chris. "I got here first! The Rats don't have to compete!" Courtney looks over to see Blaineley and Eva standing off to the side. "What?! How did they get here?! They must have taken a different way. They cheated!"

"I never said you had to take the beach. You all just kind of assumed that." Chris says to Courtney. Courtney screams in frustration and stomps off. "You two girls seemed to have landed at the same time, but one of you landed first." Chris says to Eva and Blaineley. "And which one of you landed first? Blaineley! So, the Bass don't have to compete!

"No!" Eva screams, sinking to her knees. Suddenly, both Ezekiel and Harold come running right off the drop off over the shore and come tumbling down onto the shore.

Eva:
"I should have known better than to listen to Blaineley. What kind of idiot am I anyway? Of course Blaineley led us through that shortcut just so she could be the one who reached their first. That's it. That was her one shot! I didn't trust her before, but now, I do not trust her at all. She wants to play rough? I can play rough."

Blaineley:
"Yeah, I fooled them. If I went off alone, they'd ask to come. And alliances are supposed to be all for one and one for all...or whatever, so we're supposedly supposed to help each other out...or something. I don't know, and I don't care. I helped myself out of the challenge, and helped Eva learn to feel the pain of losing!"

"Anyway..." Chris continues. "The snow and the sand! It represents the cold mountains of Yukon and the warm desert of the Sahara! This drastically altered and unsafe environment is a hint to your challenge for today. There are three pools, one on the snow side of the shore, one on the desert side, and one right in the middle. Your challenge is to get in these pools and withstand the extreme temperatures of the water! The pool one the snowy side with get extremely hot, the one on the desert side will get extremely cold, and the one in the center will fluctuate. The team with the last person standing wins, and they will all receive massage therapy for all the trauma they're about to do to their body. The losers will be determined by which team has all their members leave their pool first. However, the Bass do not have to compete, hence why there are only three pools. That means Blaineley, Lightning, DJ, Scott, Duncan, Trent, Sadie and Anne Maria don't have to participate. Are we ready campers?"

"Did you not hear me back in the mess hall?!" Dakota screams, once more, calling attention to herself. "I can't forgive you. I don't want to. What kind of girl would I be if I forgave the boy who cheated on me? Dakota asks rhetorically.

"Babe, don't do this." Sam pleads.

"Don't call me that!" Dakota shouts, pushing Sam away from her. All the contestants surround the two ex-lovers, forming a circle around them. "Great, now everyone is staring at us! I hate all this attention!"

"You guys haven't really been private about all this..." Anne Maria says. "You guys have been shouting every morning at breakfast, so don't get all shocked we lookin' at you."

"Be quiet you...you...hussey!" Dakota screams at Anne Maria. Just then, the familiar dinging goes off. It's time for a song! Clouds inexplicably swarm the skies, allowing just enough sunlight to peer through - giving Dakota the perfect spotlight. A steel drum goes off rapidly, with a hang drum crafting an ambient sound in the background. Distant cymbals add to the intensity of the vengeful song.

Dakota:
"You don't really care. That's what it seems. I'm just a fool, it's so clear to me. You've been playing your games, building your tower. I was locked inside for all of these hours. Now it's come crashing down, and now I'm free. No longer a prisoner, I can be who I want to be!"

Sam:
"Don't say that. I do care, so much. How can I get through to you? You've always been my crush. I built this tower for you, kept you inside, - in my heart. That's where you always were, it's where you should be. But you broke free, the built a wall to keep me out!"

Dakota:
"Brick by brick I built a wall to keep you out. Block your sorry excuses, hide your silly lies. It didn't make sense to me, no none of it did. You tried and tried, time after time. If you think I can be fooled that easily then you're dead wrong."

The steel drum comes to a stop, with just the ambient sounds of the hang drum and the distant claps of the cymbals filling the air.

Sam:
"Dakota, hear me when I say I'm sorry. Don't just let it pass through your ears. Hear me when I say, I love you. I love you. I never meant to hurt you. All of it was an accident. I'm not a bad guy, Lindsay's not a bad girl. It was simply a mistake, that got blown out of the waters. Let me make it up to you. Let me show you much you mean to me. Let me just say it now - I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!

Silence falls. Dakota turns, looking Sam in the eyes. She places her hands over her heart, tears welling up in her eyes. The sympathy, the honesty - the desire to make amends. She wipes the tears from her eyes, a big smile forming across her face. The instruments resume in full force, crafting a powerful ballad.

Dakota;
"Oh Sam. You've spoken to me, dug deep into my soul. I was so blind before, concerned with my image. Guess the power of a song, is something that can't be predicted. I guess I gotta' say it to, so yes, me too! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! But most off, I love you! I love you!

Sam/Dakota:
"I love you!"

The instruments come to a close and Sam and Dakota embrace each other with a passionate kiss. The circle of contestants around them erupts into applause, happy for Sam and Dakota to be reunited, but more happy that they'll finally stop arguing at breakfast. Alejandro grimaces at Dakota, disgusted by her happiness. A whistle goes off and it's time for the teams to get into their pools. These contestants are about to get into some serious hot water...
