"Stranded Over Dangerous Waters"
Team Alpha: Eva, Lindsay, Sadie, Scar, Zoey [5]
Team Kaleidoscope: Bridgette, Courtney, Gwen, Heather, Izzy, Katie, Trent [7]
Team Omega: Brick, Cody, Dawn, Geoff, Lightning, Noah, Tyler [7]
"Last time on 'Total Drama Recall'…" Chris began the show, standing at the end of the dock of shame. "The twenty remaining contestants battled it out in two challenges: first of all, they had to face a set of hurdles, second, they had to make it all the way to the other side of the island without being kidnapped. Ultimately, Jo was the one to cause Team Alpha's failure, and she was sent packing! Today's a brand new day, though, and the final 19 will take part in a challenge across the seven seas!"
"Uh, Chris, we agreed that we'd take them to the island past Boney Island, and that's it." Chef interrupted the host.
"Don't take the magic away!" Chris frowned. "Now, where was I? Yes, the final nineteen will be taking on the next challenge soon! Which team will take top prize and which team will take no prize at all? Find out right here on: Total… Drama… Recall!"
Team Kaleidoscope
The newly formed Team Kaleidoscope, consisting of Bridgette, Courtney, Gwen, Heather, Katie and Trent were sitting down to eat their breakfast in the new Spa-Hotel.
"Hey, you guys!" Izzy called to her team-mates from another room. "This hotel is so cool! It even has a fake dead corpse in the kitchen!" The other six members of her team spat out their food at this.
"What did you just say?!" Gwen asked Izzy, hoping she hadn't actually said what she thought she'd said.
"Oh no, wait, false alarm." Izzy's voice was clearly less enthused. "It's just the unconscious masseuse I challenged last night. I wonder why he hasn't woken up yet… Oh well." She added, entering the dining room where the others were.
Bridgette, Courtney, Gwen, Katie and Trent all stared sceptically at the crazy redhead, whereas Heather had returned to eating.
"I was joking guys!" Izzy chuckled, prompting the others nervously laugh. "Or am I?" She flared her eyes before retreating from the room without blinking an eye.
"Right, I can't be the only one here asking myself why Izzy isn't on medication…" Courtney said, breaking the worried and confused silence. "She has… issues."
"You weren't the only one." Gwen added, hesitantly returning to her fruit salad breakfast.
"I say we get rid of her when push comes to shove." Heather suggested from the end of the table. "She's clearly of no value to our team and she only serves to creep us out from time to time."
"She's a nice girl, though." Bridgette voiced her opinions. "She's just… unique."
"If by 'unique,' you mean: psychotic asylum escapee on the verge of becoming a mass murderer, then yeah, sure she's unique." Heather smirked.
The Bathrooms
Geoff and Lightning of Team Omega were getting washed in the bathrooms.
"So, why are you back on the island, dude?" Geoff asked Lightning, who was performing his hair routine."Aren't you a professional football player now?"
"Well, I was, until some journalist spread rumours that I was taking those performance enhancing drugs!" Lightning frowned at the thought. "Because of that, I lost my job and I came back to this show to win the million!"
"Aw, not cool brah." Geoff patted the athlete on the back as he shaved his face with the other hand.
"Anyway, Lightning has to go for a shower! Those beds smell nasty!" Lightning made a screwed up facial expression as he took his signature blue sports top off, grabbed a towel from the rack and flung it over his shoulder.
"How bad do you think the challenge Chris has come up with is this time?" Geoff asked Lightning. "'Cause the last one was barely even a challenge…"
"Nothing's difficult to Lightning!" Lightning proclaimed. "I'm just sha-happy I beat Jo for the second time!"
Cabin: Team Alpha
"There's only nineteen of us left… fourteen people have been eliminated… the competition's heating up." Eva said to anyone that was listening as she lay on her bunk bed.
"Nineteen's quite a big number." Zoey replied. "Last season, there were only thirteen of us, so it's unusual for Mike and I, and the others that were on Revenge of the Island: Dawn, Staci, Scott, Cam, Lightning, Jo, Anne Maria and Brick. It's a shame B, Dakota and Sam couldn't make it."
"I've never been in a season this big either." Eva added. "I don't know why Chris decided to bring thirty-three of us back. It's gonna be a long season…"
"I'm so happy Chris decided to bring me back!" Sadie added into the conversation. "It's my first since season one!"
"Mine, too." Eva reminded her. "But this is Lindsay's fourth season."
"And she still hasn't won." Scar muttered from his seat beside Zoey.
"What was that?" Zoey smiled, asking Mike to clarify.
"I was just saying that we're all hoping to win!" Scar put on his best Mike voice. "We might not get called back next time!"
"That's true…" Zoey sighed. "If we do though, I hope it's like World Tour. I loved that season!"
"Eek!" Sadie squealed. "Like me, too! Katie and I were so jealous of the others!"
"Meh… it didn't faze me to be honest. I was annoyed I didn't get to be on the show, but not because it was a trip around the world." Eva said.
"I saw you on the Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special; you were really angry when you were told you didn't make it…" Zoey said to Eva.
"Yeah." said the female bodybuilder. "That was before I started going to relaxation therapy-" Eva stopped herself mid-sentence upon hearing Chris' call for all contestants to meet at the mess hall for today's challenge.
"Ooh, I wonder if today's challenge is going to be fun?" Lindsay smiled to Sadie.
"I hope so!" Sadie beamed.
The Main Lodge
Team Kaleidoscope and Team Omega had already gathered at the mess hall, and upon Team Alpha's arrival, Chris began his speech.
"Greetings, campers!" Chris grinned. "Now that we're all here, I can finally introduce today's challenge!"
"The joy!" Noah rolled his eyes.
"Today, you will all be travelling to a nearby island to carry out your challenge!" Chris announced excitedly.
"We're going to Boney Island again?" Noah sighed. "How creative."
"No, actually!" Chris beamed. "An island beyond that island: Desolate Haven."
"That sounds… nice." Gwen raised a brow. "So you're saying there are two islands in the same vicinity with the words 'Haven' and 'Boney' in them…"
"Sure am!" Chris smiled. "Now, as for the challenge: once we're there, you will all face your own mini-challenge. If you succeed, you will win invincibility, if you do not, and your team has the most failures, you'll be on the chopping block. Savvy?"
"Uh…" Katie uttered, confused.
"Anyway, now, if you'd all like to follow me to the beach, you'll find a luxurious mini-cruise ship, which will be your mode of transport for the day." Chris instructed the campers.
"Eek!" Sadie squealed. "This is so exciting!"
"I know, right?" Lindsay giggled. "I can't wait!"
"Hey, Linds, wait up!" Tyler called to the model. Catching up with the blonde, he began a conversation. "I miss being on the same team as you, babe…"
"Aw, me, too!" Lindsay pouted. "If only you were on our team, that would be perfect!" She added, turning to look at Sadie.
"Yeah, totally perfect!" Sadie reiterated.
"I know…" Tyler sighed. "At least we can be together when we get to the merge!"
"Totally!" Lindsay smiled.
"Hey, you three at the back, HURRY IT UP A LITTLE!" Chris exclaimed to Lindsay, Sadie and Tyler, as the other campers had already boarded the boat.
"Sorry, man!" Tyler exclaimed back as he, Sadie and Lindsay began to run to the boat that had already started to leave the beach.
Once the trio arrived on the boat; panting and covered in water, Chef was able to speed up.
Desolate Haven
The ship had just passed Boney Island, and the campers, sans Noah and Scar were surprised at what they saw.
"It's… beautiful…" Bridgette's jaw dropped.
"Ain't it?" Chris smirked back.
The boat started to pull up to the shore, and let Brick, Bridgette, Cody, Courtney, Dawn, Eva, Geoff, Gwen, Heather, Izzy, Katie, Lightning, Lindsay, Noah, Sadie, Scar, Trent, Tyler and Zoey off, before making a large noise and setting sail once more.
As the majority of the campers took in their surroundings, Heather noticed that Chris hadn't gotten off. "What?" She uttered to herself as she squinted her eyes to see Chris waving at her from the ship. "NO!"
"What's wrong?" Lindsay asked the raven-haired girl.
"CHRIS!" Heather exclaimed. "HE'S JUST LEFT US HERE!"
"Oh no…" Lindsay sighed. "Wait, who's Chris?" "UCH!" Heather grunted.
"Hey, where's Chris?" Trent raised a brow, noticing an unusual lack of evil laughing.
"Over there…" Heather sighed, slumped over on a rock, pointing to the boat.
"What?!" Trent's eyes widened. "He can't just leave us here! COME BACK, MAN!"
(CONFESSIONAL)
Chris: "Oh the hilarity! I knew they'd freak if they thought I'd left them."
(END CONFESSIONAL)
"LOOK AROUND; YOU'LL FIND THE INSTRUCTIONS!" Chris exclaimed from the boat before returning to his drink that he had in his hand. "OH, AND I LIED ABOUT THE SPA RESORT! THE WINNERS OF EACH CHALLENGE GET IT, TEAM KALEIDOSCOPE DON'T HAVE IT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON! HA!"
"I can't believe this!" Courtney fumed. "How are we supposed to get back, now?!"
"I think I found something!" Katie beamed, holding up an old fashioned letter. "It says:
Dear Campers,
Sorry I couldn't be there to laugh at your expense, I need some me time.
As for your challenge, if you look to your right, you'll see a row of clear, pipe-like tunnels attached to jet skis with your names on them. Yes?"
Katie, turned to look at the boxes before continuing to read the letter.
"Chef set them up yesterday.
You're instructions are as follows:
1) Open the lid at the end opposite to the lake.
2) Have fun with your challenge!
P.s. The team with the fewest people back on the island at 2 O'clock will not receive invincibility. There is a pocket watch attached to this letter."
She finished, before taking the pocket watch in her hand and informing everyone else of the time. "Guys! We only have an hour!" She exclaimed, worried.
"Crap!" Heather sighed, picking herself up from the rock she was perched up, and running towards the tube-like clear boxes, finding the names to be in alphabetical order, she was able to quickly reach hers beside Gwen and Izzy.
Each tube had coloured borders that matched their user. For example, Izzy's was lime-green, Katie's was pink, Heather's was burgundy and Mike's was teal. Once inside the tubes, the campers were faced with a challenge to get past the first door. The first task was to successfully drag a metal rod from one side of a maze to the other without touching the rims, in the style of the family board game Operation. Bearing in mind that the contestants were crawling through a square faced box held a foot above the ground, with a width not much wider than their shoulders, this would prove to be a tough task for many.
"AW, FFFFFFFFF-UDGE!" Geoff yelped, accidentally triggering the buzzer, which revealed to the others that they would get an electric shock if they hit the metal ridges.
"YOW!" Lightning exclaimed, prompting the contestants in the tubes beside him, Katie and Lindsay, to subsequently zap themselves after jumping in shock.
"Owie!" Lindsay frowned. "That was so not fair!"
"Come on, Courtney. You can do this!" Courtney coached herself on, eyeing her steady hand carefully.
"Stop talking to yourself. It's putting me off!" Eva yelled at the former CIT.
"Well excuse MEEEE!" She screamed, zapping herself after turning to look down two tubes to Eva, only to see Dawn in between her and the bodybuilder, who had successfully managed to clear the first task. "It's on!" She narrowed her eyes, determined to catch up to Dawn.
Soon after, she heard Cody open the door on the other side of her. "Ugh!" She sighed. "This is pointless!"
"Yes!" Eva uttered, getting the rod to the other end of the maze, triggering a red light to flash, letting her push the door open.
"Right, relax Courtney…" Courtney continued with the self coaching method. "You can do this…" She then stuck her tongue out due to concentration, and eventually cleared the task. "YES!" She exclaimed, forgetting about the height of the tunnel and banging her head on the roof. "… Ow."
- Checkpoint - 12 contestants cleared -
Lindsay, Katie, Sadie, Tyler, Bridgette, Gwen and Lightning were struggling at the first task.
On the verge of passing out, Gwen was trying to complete the task whilst also battling her claustrophobia. "I hate you Chris!" Gwen sighed in between pants. Her hand was shaking, but she was able to finish the puzzle eventually, making her the fourteenth person to do so, as Bridgette had managed to clear it seconds before.
"GO LIGHTNING!" Lightning exclaimed as he cleared the first task.
Meanwhile, most of the others had already begun doing the second of the five tasks. This one didn't require such a steady hand. The second task was to answer five Total Drama related questions correctly, much like in a previous challenge, on a touch screen. The questions, however, were different for each contestant.
"Question one: how many double eliminations were there in Total Drama Island?" Dawn asked herself. "There were none, I don't think?" She contemplated, before answering "0". She was pleased that her answer had lit up green and the screen had transitioned to the second question.
"Including Total Drama Recall, how many contestants have competed in four seasons?" Zoey asked herself. "Um, well, Owen is one, Izzy, LeShawna, Heather, Gwen, Lindsay… who else?" She thought. "Harold, Courtney, Duncan… and Bridgette, and DJ! That makes… eleven?"
"Question number one: which two contestants were the first to be eliminated from Total Drama Action?" Lightning read out the question. "How am I supposed to know?! Crazy girl and the fat guy?" He thought, typing in 'Owen and Izzy'. However, none of the names flashed green. Lightning then proceeded to think of as many people he could that competed in Total Drama Action, however, he had only seen the third episode. "Think! Who wasn't in that episode? Geoff wasn't… How about scary girl Eva?" He said, typing in 'Geoff and Eva'. 'Geoff' illuminated green, whereas 'Eva' turned red. "Ooh!" Lightning grinned. "I got one!"
Meanwhile, Sadie was still stuck at the first task, whereas everyone else was now onto the second. "I always hated Operation when I was little!" Sadie sighed. "I'm so going to lose this challenge and get voted off!" She cried, beginning to sob. "No!" She suddenly stopped. "I need to pull myself together and get on with this! Go, Sadie, go!" Sadie's new boost of self encouragement worked, as she was eventually able to pass through the first door.
"Who was the winner of the fourth season of Total Drama?" was Scar's fifth and final question. "Easy as cake! Cameron!" He typed in, and to no surprise, was able to open the second door. After completing the first two doors, Scar moved onto the third: a jigsaw puzzle. At the left side there was a pocket containing a 63 puzzle pieces, and on the door, there was a grid nine pieces long and seven pieces tall. "This is going to take forever!"
At the same time, Dawn, Gwen, Bridgette and Courtney had also discovered what task they had to do at the third door. There were five scenes in total: the promotional photo taken at the start of each season.
Back at the second door, Katie was on her final question. "Who was eliminated in the Total Drama Island episode named 'Who Can You Trust?'?" she read aloud. "That's an easy one… Sadie." She said to herself, typing in the name of her former BFFFL. The screen flashed green, and a small red light at the side flashed, signalling that the door was now unlocked, prompting Katie to open the hatch and proceed onto the third task.
Trying to piece together a jigsaw of the Total Drama Action promotional photo, Gwen began to feel faint, and had to slap herself so that she would stay awake. "Ugh…" She groaned. "When I get out of here, Chris is a dead man." She started to slur, before passing out completely.
Courtney, who had just managed to complete her jigsaw, saw her former friend collapse. "Gwen?" Courtney tried to call out to the gothic girl. "Gwen!" She began frantically thumping on the plastic walls of her tunnel in order to wake Gwen up, but her efforts were in vain as Gwen could not hear a thing. From this moment, she made it her mission to finish the challenge and aid her unconscious 'friend'.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Courtney: "Chris, is leaving someone unconscious in a small, air-deprived space even legal?!"
(END CONFESSIONAL)
She was able to pass through door number four with ease, as the challenge was just to unlock the door with one of the fifty keys. Luckily enough, one of the first keys she chose was the correct one.
The fifth task was harder than the fourth; however, as to complete it, the contestant had to complete a Boss level in Super Mario with the difficulty level rigged to the highest it could possibly be. This was no match to Courtney, though, as when the stubborn CIT is determined to win, not even Bowser can stand in her way.
As soon as she could, she opened the final door, bypassed her grey-ish jet ski and ran to the tunnel on the other side of Eva's and got to Gwen.
Frantically, she thumped on the plastic right beside the unconscious goth girl. "Come on, Gwen! Hurry up and wake up while there's still a sufficient Oxygen level!" She exclaimed which resulted in Gwen drowsily awakening.
"Where am I?" Gwen asked Courtney, who had just breathed a sigh of relief.
"You're in a plastic tunnel! Now hurry up and finish this challenge!" Courtney ordered. "That piece goes there!" She informed her, pointing to the puzzle piece that Gwen had in her hand, and then to a box in the gridded door.
Meanwhile, Scar had also managed to successfully complete all five of the tasks, and had exited the tunnel at the end nearest to the water. Spotting a cable coming out from his tunnel and leading up to a small box at the beginning of the forest, he had an idea. He went over to see Zoey's tunnel and spotted the same cable running out from it. Taking this opportunity, he ripped the plug from the tunnel. "That'll slow her down." He smirked, before returning to his jet ski. "Au revoir, suckers!" He grinned, as he untied the rope keeping the Jet Ski from floating out to shore and revved it up.
Courtney, however, noticed 'Mike' do this, and was suspicious for a few moments, but hesitantly chose not to think anything of it.
As Mike drove his jet ski away, Brick had just managed to finish his final task. "The fresh air!" Brick sighed in relief, taking a moment to re-adjust to the air levels, before hopping on his jet-ski.
Just then, the screen at the front of Brick and Scar's jet-ski's turned on, revealing Chris who was grinning rather suspiciously.
"Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Chef and I have planted a few obstacles in the river between Desolate Haven and Wawanakwa!" Chris laughed menacingly. "Have fun returning home!" He added, as the screen powered down. This message was also delivered to those still on the island through the loud speakers.
In anger, Scar slammed his fist down onto the screen which previously showed Chris' smug face. "I hate this show!" He grumbled, spotting an upcoming Water Mine Field as the sign said, which was an array of buoys rigged to explosives.
Desolate Haven
Whilst Courtney was helping Gwen finish the first part of the challenge, Geoff and Lightning had managed to finish theirs and had now boarded their respective jet skis.
Courtney had managed to guide Gwen past the fourth door, and was now onto coaching her in the Super Mario Bros. Boss Battle.
"I can't do this…" Gwen managed to splutter out. "I feel like I'm going to pass out…"
"Come on, Gwen!" Courtney exclaimed. "I'll be damned if I lose this challenge, now hurry up! You can do this! Just double jump, punch, kick, jump, punch!"
Drowsily doing as Courtney instructed, Gwen was able to complete the fifth task and weakly pushed the final door open to get the fresh air she so desperately craved.
"Right, that's you out, now come on, we need to finish the challenge!" Courtney told the gothic girl. "If you don't feel up to driving your own jet-ski, you can hop on the back of mine."
(CONFESSIONAL)
Courtney: "Don't get me wrong, I'm not friends with Gwen again or anything… this is purely strategic. Yeah. That's it." She said rather unconvincingly. "… I think…"
(END CONFESSIONAL)
"Are you sure?" Gwen asked the former C.I.T.
"One hundred percent, now come on, we've got a challenge to win!" proclaimed Courtney, as she started running to her jet-ski.
After Gwen had boarded, the pair set off on their return to Wawanakwa.
Meanwhile, Heather had just managed to finish her tasks, and was able to continue on with the second part of the challenge.
As she did so, Zoey had just finished the third of her tasks, but was noticing a slight technical glitch. Usually, a red light would flash, signalling that the door was now open, but the light did not do anything once Zoey had pieced together the puzzle. "That's strange…" Zoey narrowed her eyes. "Why isn't this working?!" She began to pound on the door, but her efforts came to no avail. "Can somebody help me? My door's stuck! Chris? Chef? Anybody?!"
Moments later, she saw Tyler finish his tasks and emerge from his tunnel. Desperately trying to receive his attention, she thumped on the plastic walls, but her efforts to obtain Tyler's attention were in vain, as the hopeless jock went on about finishing the challenge.
As Zoey desperately tried to escape her entrapment, Trent was able to successfully pass the fifth task.
"Finally!" Trent gasped for air. "I was starting to feel a bit claustrophobic in there…" He uttered to himself. "Oh, geez, I hope Gwen's okay!" He panicked, remembering his ex-girlfriends claustrophobia. He quickly jogged down the tunnels to where he presumed Gwen's would be, and was happy to find an empty tunnel.
Turning around to walk back to his jet-ski, he accidentally tripped on a wire. Quickly, he got up, dusted himself down, and went about finishing the second leg.
Inside Eva's tunnel, the power started to shut down until there was no red light on the fifth and final door of her tunnel. "WHAT?!" Eva exclaimed. "COME ON!" she furiously thumped on the light, causing it to smash. As the camera panned out, it was revealed that the wire Trent tripped on was that of Eva's power supply.
"Sha-Lightning!" Lightning cheered as he opened up the final door.
"Woo-hoo!" "Ooh," Izzy grinned as she came across the final task. "Izzy likes!" She continued, impatiently grabbing the controller from the side and cackled maniacally. "Ooh, Bowser is no match for E-SCOPE! Wah-hah!" Unsurprisingly enough, Izzy defeated the Koopa King, and won her freedom. Upon exiting the tunnel to which she was confined, she brought up her hand in a gun like formation and blew her index finger. "HEY, NOAH!" She grinned, spotting Noah exiting his tunnel.
"Oh great…" Noah rolled his eyes. "Why did I have to finish at the same time as the one and only Psycho Hose Beast…?" He muttered.
"What's that, buddy?" Izzy blinked, peering over Noah's shoulder, causing him to jump.
"Nothing!" Noah's eyes widened.
"How about we share a jet-ski?! Wouldn't that be soooo cool!?" Izzy suggested, wild eyed.
"Um, no thanks…" Noah raised a brow.
"Aw, come on!" Izzy tried to persuade the bookworm. "I know you want to!"
"No, really…" Noah rolled his eyes. "I don't."
"Suit yourself!" Izzy grinned, before hopping on Noah's jet ski and driving off.
"Izzy, no, that's my…" Noah sighed. "… jet ski."
"Don't worry, Noah," A soft voice came from behind Noah's back. "You can sit on the back of mine."
Turning around, Noah was faced with Dawn. "Uh… thanks." He smiled: an unusual occurrence.
"You are welcome." Dawn smiled in response.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Noah: "A guy and a girl can be friends, you know…"
(END CONFESSIONAL)
Brick, Scar, Lightning, Heather, Trent, Izzy, Noah, Dawn, Courtney and Gwen were the only ones onto the second half of the challenge: overcoming the minefield and making it back to Wawanakwa. Scar, Brick, Lightning Heather and Trent were in the lead, closely followed by Izzy, Courtney and Gwen, and Dawn and Noah.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Scar: "I don't want to win the challenge," he revealed. "I just want make the challenge harder for the other teams. The more my team loses the more annoyances I can get voted off."
(END CONFESSIONAL)
Noticing that Brick was nearing him, Scar decided to slow him down a little by rummaging in his pockets, where he found some loose change. Spotting one of the explosive buoys Chris had set up, he tossed some of the coins onto it, but nothing happened. He tossed a couple more as Brick pulled up beside him, and this time, they actually set off one of the bombs, causing Brick's Jet Ski to rocket up into the sky.
"AAAAAAGH!" Brick exclaimed, falling away from his transport, watching as it fell back to the water and landed on another buoy, causing it to blow up. "Are you kidding me?!" He grumbled, as gravity took hold and he fell back down into the lake.
"Hop on!" Lightning extended an arm out to his teammate.
"Thanks!" Brick smiled, grabbing onto the athletes arm and hoisting himself up onto the back of the Jet Ski.
"No problem!" Lightning grinned. "Now let's win this thing! Sha-Lightning!"
Desolate Haven
"Woohoo!" Tyler exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air as he exited his tunnel. "Go Team Omega!"
"Yes!" Cody beamed, as he too boarded his jet ski. "Chris deemed that to be a challenge?" He chuckled. "The only reason I took so long was because I couldn't find the key to unlock the door!"
After Cody and Tyler left on their way back to the island, there were only seven contestants still competing in the first leg: one of Team Omega, two of Team Kaleidoscope, and four of Team Alpha.
"WHY ISN'T THIS DAMNED THING WORKING?!" Eva exclaimed, still furiously thumping on the fifth and final door.
"Finally!" Geoff sighed in relief, stretching as he sat upon his jet ski. Turning to face the tunnels, he looked at who else still had to finish: Zoey, Sadie, Lindsay and Katie on his left, and Eva and Bridgette on his right. "Aw, Bridge!" He uttered, running across to his girlfriend.
"Geoff!" Bridgette smiled from within her confinement. "Wait… why haven't you left yet?"
"I wanna make sure you get out, too," said Geoff.
"Aw!" Bridgette blushed. "I'm just on the last bit, so I won't be long… hopefully."
"It's real easy, Bridge," Geoff began to coach his girlfriend. "You've just got to attack, jump and attack." After a few minutes of coaching, Bridgette had managed to clear the final task and exit the tunnel.
"I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to be out of there!" She uttered as Geoff helped her up from the ground.
"I know, right?" Geoff smiled back at his girlfriend. "Wanna share a ride?"
"But we're on different teams?" Bridgette sighed. "Heather would probably get me voted off for 'helping the enemy'."
"Well… okay then…" Geoff uttered. "… I bet I can get back before ya." He smirked, hopping on his jet ski.
"I'd like to see you try." Bridgette chuckled, driving off, shortly followed by Geoff.
As Bridgette and Geoff drove off, only five contestants remained: one member of Team Kaleidoscope; Katie, and four members of Team Alpha; Eva, Lindsay, Sadie and Zoey.
"I so don't understand this!" Lindsay pouted; unable to manoeuvre the metal rod through the maze. "Why does this have to be so-BZT-hard!" she sighed, being electrocuted between her final two words. "Ow!" she cried, rubbing her hand.
"Ten minutes remaining." Came a robotic voice in each of the tunnels.
"UGH!" Eva exclaimed. "HURRY UP AND OPEN, YOU STUPID DOOR!"
"Eeeeek!" Katie squealed, opening her final door. "Yay!" She stood up to see six jet skis, as Izzy hadn't used hers. "I'm not last!" she beamed. "Wait… who's left?" She asked herself, examining the colour schemes of each jet ski. "Ultramarine, definitely Eva, pink and black, mine! Orange and blue, Lindsay, scarlet red, Zoey, pink and black – mine… Wait… I already said mine that must be Sadie's. I hope she's okay!" She worried, recalling the fact that Sadie wasn't too fond of tight spaces.
Worried, Katie ran over to find Sadie, and there she was: on the fourth task, trying desperately to find the key that fitted the lock. "Sadie!" Katie beamed.
Surprised, Sadie let go of the key she was holding and it fell back into the box. "What? What do you want?" She lifted her nose once she saw who was talking to her.
"I… I want to help." Katie uttered, now visibly a little upset at her frosty welcome.
"Well I don't need your help." Sadie turned away from her former BFFFL. "I'm my own person now. I can do this on my own!"
"I know you can… I just..." Katie put her hand on the plastic tubing encasing Sadie. "… I'm sorry."
Sadie's eyes widened. "Sorry for what?" She hesitantly turned to face Katie once more.
"For everything…" Katie uttered, sniffling slightly. "For, like, every time we've ever argued… and for what happened in episode one, I didn't mean to say that, I just forgot we were on TV…" Sadie took a moment to evaluate how genuine Katie was being, and quickly arrived at the understanding that she meant every word.
"I'm sorry, too!" Sadie sobbed. "I shouldn't have reacted like I did, I'm sorry!" She cried, spreading her arms out as if she were hugging.
"Oh, Sadie, I missed you!" Katie cried, mirroring Sadie's hug.
"Like, me, too!" Sadie sobbed, as she and Katie pressed up against either side of the plastic tunnel.
The Dangerous Waters
Not a single person had managed to get through the lethal obstacle course yet due to its extensive length.
"WAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!" Izzy cackled, maniacally driving her jet ski, narrowly scuffing buoy bombs on either side of her, causing her to be surrounded in fiery explosions. "BOOM BOOM!"
"Could you please not do that?" Courtney yelled, driving mere metres behind Izzy. "Some of us are trying to drive here!"
"Oh, get a grip!" Scar muttered under his breath.
Just then, the screens on each of the jet skis turned on, revealing Chris' grinning face. "Five minutes left… tick, tock!" he announced.
"Oh, just shut up!" Heather groaned. "We are trying to concentrate!"
"WEEEEEE!" Izzy exclaimed, veering to the right slightly, causing her to drive straight into an explosive buoy. "EXPLOSIVO GO BOOM BOOM!" She grinned, as she was sent flying into the air.
Wawanakwa
Chris and Chef were laying on fold out beach beds on the shore, swimsuit clad and wearing sunglasses.
"So how long do you think until they arrive back?" Chef asked the host.
"Ten, maybe fifteen minutes…" Chris pondered. "…If they even get back at all." He and Chef began to snicker, until they heard a faint screaming in the distance.
"What the heck is that?!" Chef pointed to an object in the sky.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Izzy cackled, hurtling towards Chris and Chef.
"Aw, crap." Chris uttered, quickly jumping from his seat, which, two seconds later was crushed by Izzy's jet ski.
"Aaaaand Izzy is the first to arrive back, giving Team Kaleidoscope the lead." Chris announced through the screens.
"Ah well, at least I'll be rid of one more nuisance by the end of the night." Scar muttered under his breath. Unbeknownst to him, Courtney and Gwen were riding rather close to his jet ski, and Courtney had managed to overhear what he had said. Gwen, however, was too busy clutching onto Courtney so she wouldn't fall off.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Courtney: "Okay, so first of all, Mike unplugs Zoey's power supply, and races off calling everyone else 'suckers' and now, he's calling his team-mates nuisances?" She pondered. "If he wasn't such a goody goody I'd think he was a villain… I'll need to keep an eye on him."
(END CONFESSIONAL)
Three minutes had passed since Chris's five-minute warning, meaning the remaining contestants had two minutes to complete the challenge, or Team Kaleidoscope automatically won, and both losing teams would be sending someone home. However, this looked unlikely to be the case, as Scar, Courtney and Gwen, Lightning and Brick were coming up for the finish line.
"Lightning is NOT going down without a fight!" Lighting proclaimed, revving his vehicle up.
"Woah, there!" Brick flared his eyes, increasing his grip on the back of Lightning's jet ski. "You might wanna slow down!"
"And why would I wanna do that?!" Lightning turned around to ask Brick. "I hope you don't expect me to throw the challenge!"
"No, I meant slow down, as in there's a bomb directly in our path!" Brick exclaimed, worriedly pointing at a buoy mere metres in front of them.
"Oh crap!" Lightning widened his eyes, unable to move the vehicle before colliding with the bomb.
Moments later, however, they landed back on the island, much like Izzy.
"And Team Omega take the lead!" Chris announced.
"Oh no they don't!" Courtney narrowed her eyes, revving up the jet ski.
"Don't you think we're going a bit fast?" Gwen's eyes widened, frightened.
"What? No!" Courtney snapped. "We don't wanna lo-AAH!" Courtney & Gwen's vehicle continued to drive past the beach, up onto the cabin area and crash into the trees beyond.
"… But Team Kaleidoscope regain their lead." Chris added, as Heather pulled up to the shore with a smirk on her face. "Congrats on being the first person to arrive without an injury!"
Heather simply let out a 'hmph' in response and took her place beside Izzy. Moments later, dishevelled looking Courtney and Gwen arrived as well, groaning in pain.
"And Sc-Mike becomes the first member of Team Alpha to return!" Chris announced. "But it doesn't look like your team-mates will be arriving any time soon, now does it?" He snickered, as a television screen beside him split into four sections displayed Eva furiously thumping the walls of her confinement, Zoey desperately trying to open her door, Lindsay being electrocuted and Sadie sobbing – this just made Scar smirk. "To all the competitors still playing, you might wanna hurry up. There's only one minute left until you're all disqualified!"
"Yes!" Trent beamed, pulling up at the shore. "And Trent makes five for Team Kaleidoscope!" Chris announced through his megaphone.
Tyler, Geoff, Bridgette, Cody, Noah and Dawn were the only six still on the second leg of the course. Noah and Dawn were in the lead, closely followed by Bridgette, then Geoff, Cody and finally, Tyler.
Tyler, as per usual, was messing up repeatedly. Every time he landed after being rocketed up into the air, he would land on yet another one of Chris' explosive buoys. "OW!" Tyler yelled. "OOH! AH!"
"Dawn! Watch out!" Noah warned Dawn, who was about to drive straight into a buoy. Though she didn't switch directions, she managed to somehow get the jet ski to jump over it. Noah gave a sceptical look.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Noah: "Okay, so there is no way to explain what just happened…" He narrowed his eyes. "Making the jet ski go out of the water at that steep an angle? Impossible…"
(END CONFESSIONAL)
"Noah and Dawn bring Team Omega up to four points, to Kaleidoscope's five!" Chris revealed as Noah and Dawn arrived at the beach. "But Team Alpha still have a measly one." He glared to Scar.
"Oh, I see!" Izzy scowled. "You won't ride with me but you get with Dawn?"
"Well yeah, 'cause you took my jet ski!" Noah defended himself.
"Excuses, excuses…" Izzy rolled her eyes. "Just admit that you have a thing for her, Noah! I can take it!"
"Um, Izzy… One: I don't have a think for Dawn, and two: why are you acting as if I've cheated on you?" Noah raised a brow.
"Noah! Just be straight with me!" Izzy pleaded. "We all know you lurrrve Dawn over here…" She added, pointing to Dawn.
Noah thought it best to not grant Izzy the pleasure of a response, despite smirks from Brick, Trent and Gwen.
"Um… Tyler! Welcome back, dude…" Chris pulled a pained expression as Tyler rocked up, bruised and battered. "Chef, I think you might need to take Tyler here to the infirmary…"
Chef nodded in response, got up from his chair and aided Tyler from the jet ski.
"Well, I guess we can count Tyler as a point, making it a tie currently!" Chris announced. "The rest of you have thirty seconds!"
Dangerous Waters
Bridgette and Geoff were close together, with Bridgette taking a narrow lead.
"Giving up yet?" Bridgette smirked.
"Nah, babe!" Geoff replied. "I'm crossing the finish line before you!" With that, Geoff revved up his vehicle, so much so that he overtook his girlfriend Bridgette. "Told you!" He smirked. "You put up a good fight, though."
Bridgette simply chuckled in response, as moments later; Geoff drove straight into a buoy, causing his jet ski to explode. Bridgette pulled up to Geoff, who was desperately trying to stay afloat and extended an arm.
"At least you put up a good fight…" Bridgette chuckled.
Geoff smirked and grabbed his girlfriend's hand.
Wawanakwa
"And Cody crosses the finish line, giving Team Omega the advantage!" Chris revealed, causing Heather and Courtney to sigh. "But wait for it… Here come Bridgette and Geoff!"
"Victory's in the bag." Noah smirked. "Even if Bridgette crosses the line, she'll bring Geoff with her, letting us win."
"Three… two… one… FINISH!" Chris announced as Bridgette pulled up.
"Yes! We sha-WIN!" Lightning exclaimed, fist pumping the air. "We get the new cabin!"
"Oh no you don't…" Chris smirked. "Geoff hasn't technically crossed the line, he's still sitting behind it. Therefore, it's a tie, and the Prize Cabin sticks with the winners of the previous challenge!"
"You're kidding… right?!" Geoff narrowed his eyes.
"I never kid." Chris lied. "At least you didn't completely lose…" He added, pointing to the screen displaying Eva, Zoey, Lindsay, Sadie and Katie, as Chef returned from the infirmary. "Oh, Chef, could you go and get them out now? We'll probably get sued if we leave them there…"
Later On…
Team Alpha's Cabin
Eva was calming herself down listening to her MP3 Player, Zoey was listening to music as well, to relax, and Lindsay, Sadie and Katie were talking about boys. Whilst the girls were doing this, Scar sat from his bunk and analysed the worthiness of each of his teammates.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Scar: "Eva's athletic. I could have her round for a while. Zoey's vote is necessary. That leaves tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber."
(END CONFESSIONAL)
"What do you think of Trent?" Sadie asked the two girls. "I think he's super hot."
"Eeek!" Katie squealed. "Like, me, too, Sadie!"
"Trey is hot, but Tyler's hotter!" Lindsay swooned, clasping her hands together.
"Um… no." Sadie glanced to Lindsay in disagreement. "Anyway, Katie, what about Noah? You two got quite close when you were on the same team!"
"Sadie!" Katie blushed. "Noah and I are just friends! Plus, I think he likes that other girl, Dawn…"
"Oh." Sadie gasped. "Well, for the record, I think you're so totally cuter than her!"
"Aw, thanks, Sadie!" Katie smiled.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait…" Lindsay squinted her eyes. "Did you say Noah liked someone?!"
"I think so…" Katie raised a brow. "Why?"
"I thought Noah was one of those people that die alone because he doesn't have any emotions?" Lindsay asked.
"Hey!" Katie scowled.
Sadie, however, leaned over to Lindsay and whispered. "Me, too."
Bonfire Ceremony
"Team Alpha… you're back, and on the way to becoming the new Team Victory…" Chris mused. "I've got four marshmallows on this plate, but there are five of you here. Well, six technically. Why are you here again?"
"To support Sadie!" Katie told the host, clasping hands with her BFFFL.
"Anyhoo, the first marshmallow of the night goes to…

Zoey!" He revealed, as the redhead gleefully caught her marshmallow and popped it into her mouth.
"Now… Lindsay, Sadie… this is the final marshmallow of the night… Whoever does not receive this marshmallow must walk the dock of shame and hitch a ride on the boat of losers… immediately."
Lindsay gulped, as Sadie's grip on Katie's hands tightened.
"The final marshmallow goes to…

Lindsay!" Chris revealed. "Sadie, you're out."
"What? No!" Katie's eyes widened. "We only just made up!"
"Too bad, so sad." Chris sarcastically replied. "Sadie, the boat of losers is waiting…"
"No! Sadie can't leave now!" Katie sobbed, hugging her larger BFFFL tightly.
"It's okay, Katie!" Sadie wiped a tear from her eye. "I can manage on my own and so can you!" She added, hesitantly tearing herself from the grip of her BFFFL. "Win this for us!" She beamed.
Katie followed Sadie to the end of the dock of shame, and began to cry as she boarded the boat of losers. "I miss you already!"
"I miss you, too!" Sadie sobbed; the boat of losers beginning to pull away from the dock.
"I miss you more!" Katie wailed, as Lindsay consoled her, whilst the boat travelled beyond ear's reach.
"It's okay; you'll see each other very soon!" Lindsay affirmed the upset girl.
"Are you sure?" Katie sniffled.
"Positive!" Lindsay smiled, as Katie showed a glimmer of one, too.
Back at the bonfire area, Eva, Scar and Zoey were discussing their decision to vote for Sadie.
"I feel bad for voting off Sadie…" Zoey sighed. "Her heart was in the right place."
"She could get quite annoying, though." Eva added. "It was always 'eek' this and 'eek' that."
"Hey, at least we're all still in the game." Scar said, faking smiling. "I presume we'll be voting for you-know-who next time?"
"Who? Lindsay?" Eva inquired. "I don't know, I've grown quite fond of her recently."
"Well, who else would you vote for? Me or Zoey?" Scar scowled.
"I don't know, okay?" Eva narrowed her eyes. "But when I do, it definitely will not be the decision of someone else."
Later On…
Eva, Lindsay, Scar and Zoey were walking back to their cabin and Bridgette had taken care of Katie and got her back to Team Kaleidoscope's Spa-Resort.
Courtney was waiting outside of Team Alpha's cabin, keen to warn Zoey of Mike's behaviour.
Eva entered the cabin first, followed by Lindsay.
"Zoey!" Courtney whispered from the shadows of the cabin.
Zoey narrowed her eyes, confused. "Courtney?"
"What?" Scar turned around.
"Oh nothing!" Zoey smiled. "I'll be in in a sec, I've just got to… get the sand out of my shoes!"
"Uh… okay?" Scar raised a brow, before entering the cabin.
"We need to talk." Courtney whispered firmly, as Zoey made her way over to the feisty CIT. "It's about Mike…"
Zoey raised a brow. "What about him?"
"Well, in today's challenge, do you not find it odd that four members of your team couldn't complete it, but Mike did?" Courtney asked the redhead.
"Well, mine malfunctioned. It's not like it was Mikes fault." Zoey informed her.
"Actually… I think it is…" Courtney pondered. "I saw him unplug your tunnel during the challenge. I was too busy helping Gwen to actually realise what he did, but I did here him call us all 'suckers'. Is that really what Mike would do?"
"… Well… No, not really…" Zoey sighed. "How do I know you're not lying me so that I get Mike eliminated, or vice versa?"
"Well… you don't." Courtney said. "You'll just have to trust me. But for now, get back in there and act like I didn't tell you anything. I don't want him getting suspicious."
(CONFESSIONAL)
Zoey: "Who does Courtney think she is?" she narrowed her eyes. "I love Mike, and he loves me. He'd never sabotage a challenge…"
(END CONFESSIONAL)
Team Omega
Lightning and Tyler were having a competition to see who could do the most push-ups; Cody was sitting on his bed as were Geoff, Brick, Noah and Dawn. Noah was reading a book and Dawn was meditating.
"Chris was having a laugh earlier…" Geoff sighed. "I crossed that line and he knows it."
"It doesn't matter now." Brick said. "At least we didn't have to send someone home."
"Who do you think they sent home?" Cody asked his teammates. "My bet's on Eva; she really lost her temper during the challenge."
"Nah. It was totally Sadie, dude." Geoff added. "Hear that crying? It's probably Katie. Who would cry if Eva left?"
"Good point." Cody contemplated. "It's probably between her and Lindsay. No way would Mike or Zoey vote each other out."
"Oh no!" Tyler gasped, dropping from his push-up. "I hope Linds didn't get voted off!"
"Yes!" Lightning grinned. "I win!"
"Be right back!" said Tyler, running out of the door, desperate to check on Lindsay.
"Do not worry, Tyler." Dawn said; her eyes closed. "Lindsay was not voted off."
"Oh yeah, and how do you know?" Noah raised a brow.
"I can sense it." Dawn said. "It was most definitely Sadie, which is a shame as I came to be close to her during our time on the same team."
"Alright then…?" Noah uttered. "I'll just go back to reading my book."
"How is your book coming along?" Dawn inquired. "Not the one you are reading, the one you're writing."
Noah's eyes widened. "Um… what?"
"You know. The romantic novel you've written one hundred and thirteen pages of." Dawn uttered, her eyes still closed.
"I'm writing no such thing!" Noah snapped, as Geoff, Brick, Cody and Lightning snickered.
"There is no need to be ashamed, Noah," Dawn told the bookworm.
(CONFESSIONAL)
Noah: "For the record, I am not writing a romantic novel."
(END CONFESSIONAL)
As the eighteen remaining campers went to bed one by one, Chris stood at the end of the dock of shame, ready to sign off the show.
"So… Scar is determined to eliminate his teammates, Katie and Sadie made up, and Sadie was eliminated!" Chris chuckled. "Join me next time for episode of thirteen of Total Drama Recall, and watch as I announce a new prize for the winners of each challenge from now until the very last episode! Chris McLean, OUT!"

Zoey: "Sorry, Sadie, you seem nice but I have to vote for somebody…"

Replies to Reviews!:
Slendie258: Thank you;). Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about our agreement.
The Black Candle: Thank you! Yeah, I'm planning on including Nawn, it's in its starting stage right now.
Munchlax Jr: Haha, yeah, got seasons six through ten in the works. Lightning, half an IQ point smarter, maybe so. I shall start to write Lightning with a bit more intelligence. Corbinace: Thank you!
acosta perez jose ramiro: Thank you! Yeah, I've always thought Eva was better than Jo.
Technow: Yeah, he is. And he won't be gone after just this season; I can assure you of that.
WishStar: I was originally going to do some Notie, but went in favour of Nawn, and made Noah/Katie friends-ish, they'll develop more as the story goes on. Sorry, I haven't any plans of pairing Brick up with anyone:(!
A/N: So Team Alpha use another player! Sorry if you saw it coming what with the Katie/Sadie reunion, but Sadie didn't really serve a part in the rest of the story. For all you Sadie fans, I'll tell you that she'll be back next season.
Also, if you like TDR, please do not hesitate to go check out the works of Slendie258.
