I was working on this chapter and decided that it was good enough to be published. Don't get too comfertable with two a day. I don't think I can do this very often.

Sam pulled the truck up to a closed motel.

Morgan glanced at the sign as they passed and saw that it said the motel was closed for reconstruction.

Sam parked the truck in front of the very end room. He turned off the truck and got out. Once he was standing at the door he raised the remote for Morgan to see.

He dipped his head in understanding.

Sam gave him a grim nodded before opening the door.

Morgan slid out and helped Reid out. Reid had recovered by now from the shock but Morgan didn't want to take any chances. Emma slid out last and Sam closed the door behind her. Sam grabbed the basket she had brought and handed it and a room key to her.

"Here, go get settled and pick where you want to start." Sam said quietly to Emma.

She dipped her head and gently took the key from him. She turned and went into the room that the key opened.

Sam sighed as he watched her go. He turned to Morgan and Reid. He pulled out two buckets and handed them to Morgan. Morgan took them and was surprised at how heavy they were.

Sam handed him four buckets and Reid two. Reid struggled under the weight of the buckets. They had to weigh at least 50lbs each may be more.

"Go to the room." Sam instructed as he picked up a cardboard box.

Morgan turned and followed Reid into the room. Emma was sitting on one of the two beds that were in the room and was facing the longest wall in the room. The basket sat next to her on the bed. When she saw them come in she pointed to the floor in the far corner of the room telling them where to put the buckets.

Reid managed to get the buckets over there without dropping them. Morgan's arms were starting to scream when he was finally able to set the buckets down.

Sam set the box on the table that was also in the room.

"You can decide which scene this time. I want this one to be spectacular is my only requirement other than the obvious." Emma nodded her head.

"Think Nine and Seven will behave themselves or do I need to stay tonight?" Emma signed to him.

After a little while of what Morgan figured was some convincing, Emma finally convinced Sam that they were going to behave.

"Alright, but if anything happens the phone is over here." Sam said gesturing to the landline on the table.

Emma nodded but didn't look him in the eye. Sam sighed and walked over to her. He gently pulled her off the bed and on to her feet. He pulled her close and leaned his head in really close.

"I know you don't like what I did back at the house but you know they have to follow the rules."

Emma looked at the floor as she signed.

Sam sighed.

"I know, I know, I will try and have more patience okay?"

He used his hand and raised her head so she was looking at him. She nodded her head and he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"There's my girl. I will be back in the morning. Don't forget to get some sleep okay?" Emma nodded again.

Sam gave her a smile before he left and locked the door behind him.

Once Morgan couldn't hear the truck any more, Morgan tried the door. He pulled his hand back when he was shocked. He tried again and got the same result. Reid went over and tried the phone.

Emma just signed to them both sadly. Morgan looked to Reid for translation.

"She says that he wires the door knobs and only he can disarm them and the phone is programmed only to work if his number is dialed."

Reid's shoulder's dropped and Morgan let out a pent up breath.

Emma got up and shuffled through her basket. She pulled out a sketch book and opened it to a specific page. Then she walked over to the box Sam set on the table and shuffled through that also. She pulled out a small box and turned to them. She signed to Reid.

"Get to work? Emma what are we doing?" Reid asked.

She walked over to where she set her sketch pad down. They followed her over. Emma pointed at the picture and then to the wall signing.

Reid looked at her confused.

"We are putting the picture on that pad on to the wall? What are we using?"

Morgan zoned out a bit while he looked at the picture.

It was a detailed picture of a forest scene with two little kids playing in it. A little girl and a little boy were running through it with a dog chasing them. They had brilliant smiles on their faces. It was beautiful.

"What?!"

Reid exclaimed bringing Morgan's attention back to him and Emma.

"Reid what is it?" He asked seeing Reid pale.

"I was wrong Morgan. My theory was wrong…" He said collapsing on the nearest bed.

Morgan looked at Emma for an explanation but she wouldn't look at him.

"Reid, what do you mean?"

Reid finally looked at him. His eyes were full of fear and guilt.

"The profile Morgan… I got the profile wrong."

Morgan looked at him confused.

"I still don't understand Reid, what profile?"

Reid gave him a haunted look.

"The Profile Morgan. The one that we came down here for."

Morgan turned to Emma thinking he may know what was going on.

"Emma, are we putting that picture on that wall?" He asked pointing from the sketch pad to the long wall.

Emma nodded.

"And what are we using to put it up there?"

She signed to him. Morgan didn't understand when Emma looked at the floor guilty and depressed.

"Reid…?" Morgan asked looking at him

"Blood Morgan… it is going up there with blood…" Reid whispered.
