Sorry for the delay. The device I usually write on broke so I have to either get a new one or get this one repaired and I have no idea when that's going to be. I'm at my dad's right now and there's not really an abundance of usable technology that doesn't belong to him. And he's a little stingy so again sorry. And here is the next chapter.
I shuffled out of bed to my window at midnight when I was awoken by a knock on the window. "What the-?" I questioned through the window to Jacob's blurry face, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "Open the window please," he choked out, struggling to hang from the branch he was perched on. I quickly slid the piece of glass up and took a step back as he jumped through. "What are you doing? Do you realize what time it is? We have school tomorrow…" His lips covered mine stopping my rambling. I soon pulled away realizing that I had just woken up…and Jake was kissing me...with my morning breath. "I'll be right back," I explained through the hand that covered my mouth. "Okay?" he replied puzzled as I rushed to the bathroom. I moved the toothbrush thoroughly through my mouth gargling a ton of mouthwash when I finished.
In my haste to return to my room and Jacob, I ran straight into my mother. "Whoa, where's the fire?" she asked chuckling and straightening her dress. "No where," I answered hurriedly, giving her a quick squeeze, "How was your date?" A ghost of a smile reached her face at the question, "It was good." "Obviously, what time is it?" I said checking my nonexistent watch, "It's way past your curfew." "And when was this curfew?" "8:00," I answered matter-of-factly. "Really, that's pretty early." "Exactly, you're an adult. You do adult things therefore you have to be home early so you won't be tempted to do those adult things." She laughed at my comment, "I'm an adult, so I'm allowed to do those 'things'. You, on the other hand, are not which means I should probably kick your boyfriend out your room." "What…?" I asked flabbergasted, mouth agape.
"You smell like Colgate, Crystal." She said, a smirk sprouting on her face. "So?" "You didn't get up at midnight to brush your teeth for no reason." I just stood there looking at her. She was good. "You forget sometimes that I'm your mother and I know you." She pushed my mouth up, gently closing it, "But I trust you so have fun!" With those last words she turned to go as I stared after her. I finally snapped out of it moments later and ventured back to my room. Hands wrapped around my waist when I stepped over the threshold and I was pushed into the closed door.
Our lips moved slowly together and I smiled against him. "You taste like Colgate too," Jacob whispered once we pulled away. I pushed him away climbing back into my bed, "Not funny." He followed after, wrapping me in his giant arms, "You didn't have to do that. You tasted just as sweet the first time as you did the second." I smiled up at him snuggling into his chest. "Toothpaste burned my mouth a little on that second kiss though," he added causing me to push his laughing figure back once again. "Shut up," I ordered crossing my arms. "I'm just kidding," he assured, amusement still lacing his voice.
I didn't move from his arms, opting to enjoy the warmth instead, and a yawn escaped me. "You tired?" he asked. "A little," I told him honestly letting another yawn slip. "Okay so I'll ask right now then." "Ask what?" My eyes fluttered closed as I listened out for his answer. "Was this romantic?" "What do you mean?" "Me climbing through the window," he answered running a hand through my hair. "What?" My eyes lifted to him confoundedly searching his illuminated eyes. "I mean Bella and Edward do this kind of stuff and she's head over heels for him so…and I still didn't know if you forgave me completely. I wanted to make up for it all. Do some more romantic stuff for you, so I figured why not this." I was silent digesting his information and still not believing it.
"So what do you think?" he asked when it was clear I wasn't saying anything. "I think you're an idiot, but you're my idiot." His confused look compelled me to continue, "First of all, don't base our relationship on Bella and Edward's. We are NOT them. Second, I already am completely and utterly in love with you and honestly I have no idea how I can be anymore in love with you than I already am. I've already forgiven you, if you still can't tell, and you can totally come in my room every night if you want to. I want it to be because you missed me, not because you saw someone else do it." I finished my long spiel, running my thumb across his cheek and kissing him lightly on the lips. "Don't think I don't want anything romantic though! I totally do!" I included at which he laughed heartily and nodded his head in understanding.
I yawned again watching him get up from the bed and travel towards the window. "Where you going?" I asked sleepily, slumping into my pillow. "To let you get some sleep." "Oh okay." I replied while my eyes shut. I felt his hand on my hair smoothing it out, lulling me to sleep. "Yep," I mumbled, "This werewolf has to get her sleep." His hand halted on my head and I heard a faint 'what?' as I drifted off into darkness.
Mostly just some Jacob and Crystal but now he knows that she's a werewolf. :) Do you think he'll care that she didn't tell him? Or that he really will?
