Night Rain
I do not own InuYasha. I do own the characters that were not in the anime and manga. Which are the ones of my own creation and imagination. As well as thanks to all my readers and reviewers that has continued to be patient. I will be updating regularly which is daily like I have been doing before school started again this year. As well, I am sorry for the wait, but I wanted to give you all a long chapter. Other than, internet needing to be paid and the very short writer's block I will be writing several chapters and posting them at the same time. I hope that this long chapter makes up for the six days that I had not been posting chapters I do apologize dearly for it.
Chapter 12: Sensitive Rain
The slight ticketing of rain sang its sweet gentle song as the light rays of light peered through the clouds gently. The ever gentle rays plastering against the windows of the castle as the eerie after rain lights illuminates the entire area. The silence remained among the area, among the close proximity that they shared, and among their thoughts that they held to themselves. His silver hair fell as a waterfall cascading over shouldered and raged rocks. His eyes were open in lost thought, his golden pupils dilated.
Even though he was a child, he was doing something very out of character. He was clinging to a human female, he was being concerned for her safety, he was aware of her position, and he was shielding her in more ways than one. This was not supposed to be, but he just couldn't help it. Calmly his mind wondered as he remained impossibly still, why he has become this way and why does he only become this way when it came to her.
And his musings ended with the twitch of his nose. The scent of his father coming around the corner assaulted him. His eyes quickly solidified and he let go of the girl that he was just clinging to. He sat back and closed his eyes leaving the girl named Kagome baffled slightly as she tried to with her confused mind to find a reason for his actions. And the very next second she stiffened instinctively and glanced at the elder male that now enter there slightly quiet paradise. With a odd look she looked back at the ground as the elder male passed.
Her tiny fingers worked like heavy wool as she tried to clean and collect the mess that was created. Her black tresses folding over her shoulders and in front of her eyes as she worked silently to clean up. Collectively she gathered the mess onto the tray; Kagome stood up and gave a slight bow before heading off once again. She gave one silent, pure glance back at the silver haired boy. His posture was one knee up and he was leaning heavily on it as his hair shielded his expression.
Her mouth curved into a soft smile as she turned to look forward, her face becoming relaxed and more opened. Her body still feeling tingly from when he held her close to him.
