Chapter 12 - The Feast: Part One
"I'll go with you."
"No, Hermione. I don't trust this spell."
"It's best shot we've got. Look, I'm not letting you go into the Feast alone."
"What if something happens?"
"Harry, the healing spell says it'll last at least four hours. That's enough time. I don't want to waste this sponsor."
"I'm not good at healing spells... And the Feast-it will be dangerous, Hermione!"
"Yes. It will be dangerous. didn't you hear me? We're in this together."
"...Alright fine-hold still-alright...there... D–Did it work?"
"I...I...feel amazing...ah...I feel better than I have in a long time. Now, let's get to the Feast to get something a little longer lasting."
The golden Cornucopia glistened while the last beams of sunlight were beating down in the Arena. The air was humid, and dry-but still fresh. The wind blew at a steady pace. In a moment, new supplies would be dropped into the Arena. Several of the tributes were gathered in the trees, bushes and each of them was watching the Cornucopia with determination.
Several of them, but not all.
Katniss hid herself in the Cornucopia. She'd learned from the mistakes of others-mainly herself that it was the smartest idea to go. Last time, she had almost died. Her bow string was put against the shaft, and ready to aim. Just in case. Peeta stayed behind, of her own consent. His infusion of Tracker Jacker venom both scared and worried her. Most of all, he needed the rest.
The sun fell behind the rocky mountains, and the day turned into night. Then, out of nowhere, a hovercraft came out of the air. Metal claws each holding variously sized bags came into sight as they placed in order of districts. The bags sat temptingly in front of the Cornucopia. The hovercraft disappeared into the dark blue sky, Katniss opened her eyes, and ran.
She sprinted to the of the table, and quickly threw her gift over her shoulder. Katniss was careful not to grab anybody else's bags because she didn't want anybody on her tail. Katniss sprinted into the forest and that was it.
The tributes waited for anything else to happen. The tension in the air was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.

"Gamemaker Rollo?...they're not moving..."
"Give them a moment, temptation will succeed. Give them only a moment."
The Gamemakers watched in anticipation. Twenty seconds passed, and a boy with dark hair and sea green eyes and a sword ran head first into the playing field.

Percy wind sprinted toward the mouth of the Cornucopia like nothing else. He needed his stupid pack so badly. Annabeth was suffering from exposure to the elements. He was silently praying that whatever medicines cured her pain would help it goes away. In a jolt move, Percy swung the yellow bag's strings around his shoulder. He turned sharply, and tried to run back to the forest, but he crippled when a dwarven arrow struck his thigh. He felt to the ground it pain, pressing his fingers against the already flowing stream of blood. The man from Two-Thorin was on the other end of the bow. Thorin pushed his body weight up, and limped towards the mouth. He grabbed a rather large bag. And then the rest of the the tributes burst in like a massacre. They scrambled like animals towards the yellow bags.
"Allons-y!" Cried the Doctor.
"For Narnia!" Called Peter.
Percy shouted, "FOR WISE-GIRL." ( Which gave a few audible sighs back in the Capitol. )
As they rushed towards the Cornacopia, Peter spotted Four from a few yards yards away. He grinned as he forgot about his own package and ran towards Four instead.
Peter sprinted to Four in large sprints, and began to attack. Four, who had a leveler head, expected this, and swerved away from Peter's attacks.
Four, running towards his bag, dodged Peter's attempt to fight. He needed his bag.
"No-get back here-coward!" Peter shouted trying to be as quick as Four. He failed of course, because Peter did not have the training. He didn't learn from Dauntless.
Four ignored him and ran to the table. His fingers brushed against the small pack. It was a black pouch with the number 3 inside a circle. He tugged open the pack, and reached inside for his prize. He grimaced as he touch the familiar feeling of cold metal.
"Four-I've waited a long time for this moment." Peter said with beads of sweat dripping off his hair. He felt cold against a strong wind that had begun to pick up.
"I don't want to have to do this, Peter." Four countered.
"Cowardice!" Peter shouted.
Suddenly, he platforms where the tributes had originally stood on the first day in the games, began to illuminate. Beams of light shot out of the tops, lighting up the playing field surrounding the Cornucopia. Thirteen districts to light-twenty six original players to represent. A loudspeaker went off, screaming out feedback.
The Head Gamermaker, Crucis spoke clearly on the microphone. The fighting ceased for a moment.
"Welcome tributes, and congratulations! You are the final ten competitors in the Fandom Games! My fellow Gamemakers and I commemorate you for your bravery! Now, onto more important matters. These lights mark your fallen tributes, and the still alive tributes-!"
The platforms sparkled for a moment, and holograms of the players stood on the disks. The twenty six members stared into the distance looking at something that couldn't be seen. Four felt his heart drop to his stomach when he saw a familiar determined, angry face staring into the distance.
Tris.
Peter saw the hopeful face of Lucy smiling at nothing. He closed his eyes-he couldn't bear it. The 10th doctor saw his beloved Rose looking away from him. He whipped his head to see the rest of the players. Every one of the tributes there saw themselves and somebody they missed. Somebody they longed to see again.
Then-one by one-sixteen lights began to turn off. The lights of the fallen tributes shut down never to be seen again. Only ten tribute lights remained.
The tributes who were currently standing in front of a Cornucopia.
"-Now these lights will be like...your cannons for the evening. When you die, so do the lights. Allow us to demonstrate-"
Suddenly, out of nowhere a gunshot was heard. A hologram resembling Thorin Oakenshield flickered for a moment, and turned off.
"-See? Easy to remember, and these fights shouldn't happen in the dark. The tributes who are still currently alive will remain up. Now without any interrupt , let the first annual Fandom Games Feast begin!"
The loudspeaker clicked off, and was followed by an empty silence.
Then the fighting began.
"Did you see that, Four? Did you see that eight year old on the hologram? That was the girl you mercilessly killed. The reapings didn't have an age limit... They practically sent a baby in the Arena..." Peter furrowed his brow. Suddenly his emotions changed as he screamed at the sky. "Did ya' hear that?! I said a baby! Who do you think we are?! We weren't born for your pleasure! For your entertainment! Stop treating us that way!"
Peter looked back at Four. "But it's alright..." He said quietly. "She'll be avenged..."
He raised a sword.
"SHE WILL BE AVENGED!" He screamed charging towards Four.
Four pulled out his present from the bag, a black gun.
"This is for Lu-!"
Four looked away. Two gunshots were fired and Peter fell on the ground-dead.
Peter's hologram flickered out, and was he gone. The Arena got darker. Four gasped at his feet. Peter laid on the with two bullet wounds in his head. He looked around, and grabbed his bag shoving the gun inside and ran off.
In another part of the arena, Morgana entered the Cornucopia playing field-she was a little late. Smiling, she strutted towards Harry Potter, and used magic to block anyone in her way or trying to harm her, by forcing them away.
She smiled hugely at Harry. "Hello, Harry."
Morgana grinned wildly.
"Aren't we going to have fun?" She said.
