Guess who's back?
*blinks* Voldermort? That's insane! I meant me! *shrugs*
I have won the NaNoWriMo this year - but still working on that. Since I met the goal, I can juggle stories now without worrying about the 50k goal.
I hope most of you weren't waiting too long :)
Severus was finally sitting down on the couch while Harry made tea for their story telling. He had frequently checked on his mate due to severe protective mode, despite of the fact they were completely safe in his quarter. The potion master has realized the connection to some things, but it hasn't lessened the trouble inside of him. It was nerving him to be this…submissive. He was uncertain how to act anymore.
Harry carried the cups over and handed one over to the man for simple guest's respect. He sat down on the couch's arm and sipped a bit before beginning a story.
"There is something I hadn't mentioned, but I wasn't supposed to tell you until after I court you a few times. So, I wouldn't blame you for getting angry at me." He knew the proper words to ease his submissive calmly as possible as he had hoped, "Mulciber noticed the way I was…behaving. He saw my study room was absolutely nothing like me or related Gryffindor like. He questioned me why I was doing this. I told him that I wanted to protect my person. He commented about acting like some soul twin mate and I demanded him to explain. At first, he was not so willing about it and I had threatened him to the point he needs to explain. That's where he had admit I was much darker than Voldemort and began to explain everything he knew of the subject. There was several barriers to cover, but his time was limited due to sleep was needed for him."
Severus bored at him – grasping everything together. He suspected that he may have acted strangely to Bellatrix and somehow, he killed her because of him. His eyes narrowed at the Gryffindor.
"Why did you want to learn more of this mating? A book would tell you that." He scowled.
Harry chuckled, "Don't forget, I had to be remain missing. The books weren't too much of an option other than what I had already bought with me and to someone who knew what they were talking about was better than no information." He was eager to hold his mate, but refraining to do so was a challenge.
Severus shook his head, "How did you know I am the one?"
Harry smirked, "I think you already know almost, but it is when I was having occulmenty lessons with you. My dominate side did not approve the submissive attacks and urges to take power. If it was anyone else that attacks me, I would have not react strongly about it or cared about them. If I hadn't controlled myself or told myself to allow you, you would have been forced to listen my command power."
Severus turned paler as a ghost. This was not something a potion master had wanted to hear, yet, he heard the truth anyway. The Gryffindor observed his Slytherin and sipped his tea calmly.
"Then what, Potter? What would have you done after commanding me to stop?" There was a slight hint of fear inside the man, but Harry didn't like that much.
"I'd probably have a guilt trip back then. I'd probably take your detention for 'acting out of line' and we'd pretend it hadn't happen. Eventually, we would have to mate anyway within given time. Right now, we are down to seventy-one days."
Severus was still pale with such topic, and it wasn't what he had wished for it. He calculated the days and summed up the day it would be.
"On a Monday of December sixth, Potter? Are you practically insane?" He dashed out of his seat and darted for the door.
Harry was not pleased and the urged to take over. He vanished his cup and hurried over to his mate within seconds. The savior managed to grab him from behind with one arm holding his arms down and the other arm across the chest. Severus grumbled and growled immediately and attempted to escape this.
"I was not going to come out of the blue, Snape." His voice sounded calm, "I was going to explain it slowly without the mating springing onto you. You have to remember, a dominate mate knows what's best and I think very well ahead."
The onyx eyes hid behind his eyelids and hassling his way out in any way he could. In a way, it had helped Harry to settle down when his submissive wasn't resisting now. The Slytherin thought little by little on this matter and words chanted in his mind.
"How do I know you aren't being like your father? That you could have sprung it onto me?" The man had to ask.
Harry drew him closely to his chest, "I was not raised by him my entire life. I raised myself, but have I shown any means to take advantage of anything?"
The potion master knew that answer too well and he sighed. Harry accepted it and continued this way before the matter could worsen.
"Mucibler gave in and trusted me a bit after such completed information. I began to develop a tracking spell that is more efficient for myself." Harry adverted to the story, "Greyback was quite helpful to hide well in both forms. I developed a spell where a werewolf can think clearly without allowing to be a complete wild animal within themselves."
Severus jerked his head at the dominate, "That is impossible! There is many conflictions and-and being a creature has its side effects."
The savior chuckled infernally, "It is not impossible when you create a spell for it and for its purpose. This only has a temporary side effect, but useful." He rocked his mate slowly, "The side effect happens to be known to drain energy for a couple of hours. After that, everything is back to normal."
The potion master agreed, "That would be quite effective for a spell. How did you think of such method to this human clarity spell in werewolf form?"
"Greyback told me what it was like transforming into and out of the wolf form. He told me what it was like as an animal beast. This has an impact on being a wolf in his human form. It's quite fascinating and drew several conclusions on how that helps. After five weeks with them, I told them to keep their mouth shut or I would not be so keen the next time I'd see them. They were pleased that I let them go finally, but they understood. Speaking of…need to check on them soon." He shrugged, "They can wait. Right now, Albus is waiting at the door."
Severus' shoulders tensed at the last part and he was not interested as much for what he hoped for the day to be. Harry suspected this would happen. His hand soothed the elder's arm to give him the craving touch he deeply desired for secretively.
"Why don't you make yourself lunch? Albus is only aware of the fact twin soul mate. There is not much to worry and he knows well of you." He ensured him, "He found it to be more respectful you, I promise." He smiled at him.
Severus accepted the idea and the Gryffindor released him. The potion master headed over to the kitchen and searched for lunchmeat before deciding what to make. Harry headed to the door – at comforts knowing his mate won't attempt to leave. He opened the door and saw the familiar white long beard.
"Come in, Albus." Harry welcomed him in.
The headmaster nodded and walked through the door – as it closed behind him, "I hope both of you are well due to the unexpected guest."
Harry almost sneered at the enemy today, yet, reminded himself he was arrested and nowhere near them. He remained calm with one breath hold and let it out.
"Yes and thank you for taking him away. I was going to kill him for such threats." The emerald eyes checked on his submissive mate.
Albus hummed, "Good to know. Severus, how about you, my boy?" His head turned.
The potion master found a particular lunchmeat, "Like a caged animal at the moment. Aside from that, completely unharmed." He muttered something else to be insanity of this world.
The emerald eyes rolled and figured his mate was simply cranky. He noted he ought to be sure his mate gather some nap today before the middle of the day reached. Albus folded his hands in front of him.
"Ah, that's good, Severus. I will have dinner and breakfast sent here for both of you. Anyhow, this new information of a second mate Bellatrix has shocked the aurors and ministers due to the fact of her marriage. However, Harry, is he telling the truth that you killed his mate?"
That was one of thing Harry hadn't told him, yet, his eyes turned to the Slytherin and knowing that man only knew the truth otherwise. It was easy to refrain from spilling the story to such people like the headmaster.
"Snape," The submissive's head picked up, "I trust you to tell him simple as possible." Harry decided to give him that, "Of course, you do not have to." He laid the options out.
Severus returned to set his turkey lunchmeat onto rye bread, "It was merely a self-defense, Albus. His pro-shield defended for him and she tried much to come after him, but led to her bleeding death. Does that answer it for you, sir?"
Professor Dumbledore hummed and grasped the point the pro-shield was the fact that has killed her, not Harry. He hadn't understood how the savior did not go to a killing spree, yet, he could not question too much.
"Certainly, Severus." He turned to the dominate mate, "Still, Harry?"
The savior knew what he had meant, "Yes, still, but you know why." He shrugged, "But it will change."
"True, but the difficulty will be." Albus commented.
Severus froze and turned around to them, "Why are both of you being so cryptically on this typical conversation?"
Harry glared at the eldest from saying it or cause massive problems. This did not comfort anyone as much.
"I am afraid I cannot. It is something to come on its own matter. Let's ignore this cryptically conversation," He hummed.
If one thing, Severus knew too well that he was not to find out on this matter. He rarely gets anything out of the old coops and there was not much to end that. Harry calmed down and decided to reappear his tea cup to finish his tea for another four hours.
"If there is anything either of you will need, please do not hesitate. Simply fire call or owl me a letter will do just fine. Severus, I will have the house elves send your clothes and materials sent here. I believe you are inform?"
Harry smiled darkly, "Yes, he is aware of being my submissive mate and have to stay here for two weeks. Also about the substitutes situation is sorted."
Albus was pleased, "Good. I have Professor Slughorn filling in for you shortly. If you have lesson plans set, please send it to me and I will be sure he follows yours. As for you, Harry, Mr. Lupin happened to be at the ministry for job application and told him he is to work at Hogwarts. I had to inform him why temporarily, however, Hagrid wishes to retire soon. Therefore, he will have the job next on mythical creatures studying."
Harry nodded, "Excellent. Have Remus come here because some lessons may be difficult to explain on papers and I'm sure my mate would be interested to learn them as well. It would be beneficial for everyone."
Severus sighed, "Will you stop calling me your mate? I'd preferred you'd call my first name instead."
Harry's head jerked up and turned to his submissive, "Is that a given permission?"
"Yes, why?"
Albus chuckled, "Submissive mates have to give permission to their dominate mate to say their names or particular names. The dominate cannot ask nor mention it. That is why we were speaking mysteriously, my dear boy."
Harry grinned, "It pleased me now I can say your name, Severus." He tested it out.
"And there is no way of taking it back, is there?"
"Nope, not after the first time permission." Harry added.
Albus decided the time was to go and nodded to the point there was not much to be here for.
"I best be going. Ah, before I do, your friends will come to visit you later evening, mostly during dinner hours." He mentioned.
The potion master groaned, "Those brats are starting on my nerves."
Albus noted Harry was not overreacting towards his golden trio friends, he assumed that his students would be fine, and went on his way to his office. The Gryffindor closed the door and walked to his submissive to join for lunch making.
"At least we have time alone for a while. I must say, I need to learn more about you, Severus." Harry commented, "Before I could carry on more stories to tell."
The house of Slytherin was not in any speaking tales nor talkative mood around his dominate mate – yet, he was too curious of the death of Voldemort.
"I specifically stated I will not tell you any of my personal business to you." He declared.
The savior nodded, "I know, but I know nothing of what had happen in three years of my disappearance."
Severus saw his point and conclude a few story that could worth listening to, despite of his circumstances. Harry had looked forward to this outcome of his hidden isolation.
A knut for thoughts?
