Note: I know tomorrow's Easter, but I won't be on tomorrow to update this story, so here is the Easter chapter.
It was Easter. Gru and his family were going to go to New York City to see a flower show.
Gru: Girls, come on.
Margo: Where are we going?
Gru: New York City.
Edith: Cool!
Lucy walked over.
Lucy: Perfect! I told Agnes that we're going on a train.
Gru was shocked. They weren't going to the city on a train.
Gru: What?
Agnes started to make train sounds.
Gru: No! Lucy, we're not going on a train!
Margo: Aw.
Edith: But Agnes never went on a train before.
Gru: Life is filled with disappointments.
Lucy: Oh man. Someone has to tell her. Can you do it?
Gru: Yes. I will.
Gru walked over to Agnes.
Margo: Don't go hard on her.
Gru: Agnes?
Agnes: Hey. I'm ready to go on the train.
Gru: About that sweetie. We're not going on a train.
Agnes: Huh?
Gru: It's going to be crowded. I'm sorry.
Agnes walked away.
Margo: Great. Now you went to far.
Gru: I didn't yell. We won't be comfortable on a train.
Lucy: I'll talk to her.
Lucy went to the girl's room.
Lucy: Agnes?
Agnes: Hi Lucy.
Lucy: Look, I'm sorry about saying that we're going on a train. I didn't mean to.
Agnes: I shouldn't have had my hopes up.
Gru went to his lab to find Dru.
Gru: Dru! Let's go!
Dru: Coming brother! Hey.
Gru: Dr. Nefario, you coming?
Dr. Nefario: Where?
Gru: To New York City. Come on…
Dr. Nefario: Gru, I need a break. I finally cured Kevin and I need to relax with no work.
Gru: Okay. I understand.
Dru: Can we bring the minions?
Gru: Alright.
Kevin: Yay!
Paul: New York City!
Edith was carrying a school bag.
Edith: Why am I the one who has to carry the school bag with our stuff? Margo, help me here.
Margo: Can't. I'm texting.
Edith: Margo!
Gru: Okay, where's Agnes?
Edith: Lucy's talking to her.
Lucy and Agnes walked over.
Lucy: We're ready.
Gru: Good.
Margo saw Agnes.
Margo: Agnes, are you okay?
Agnes: I'm just sad. I want to go on a train, but we're not going on one.
Gru: Let's go!
They went into Gru's car which was called the Grumobile. Gru started the car and drove away.
Dru: So now what?
Gru: We're going to the city.
Dru: Are we there yet?
Gru: No. I just started to drive.
Stuart: Dagu off kiku!
Lucy: Now girls, we're going to the city because….uh….Gru, why are we going to the city?
Gru: We're going to a flower show that's in Macy's.
Edith: Oh great. We're going shopping.
Gru: No. The flower show is in Macy's.
Dru: Are we there now?
Gru: No. Dru, stop asking me.
Dru: Sorry.
Dave: Ka'metro con-a-banana.
Bob: Si. Ako mop.
Kevin: Dru, con-a-banana.
Dru: I don't have a banana, but I have popcorn.
Dru gave the minions a huge bag of popcorn. Stuart thought of an idea. He laughed.
Stuart: Popular pik.
Tim popped the bag of popcorn and the popcorn flew all over the place. One piece of popcorn fell on Gru's head. Gru growled.
Lucy: Oh boy.
Dru: Are we there now?
Gru pulled over and stopped the car. Agnes gasped.
Margo: Whoa!
Edith: Hey! What gives?
Gru: I don't want to hear another word from anyone in this car. If I hear one little peep, I will drive back home! Understand!?
Everyone nodded.
Gru: Good.
Gru started driving again. Lucy looked out the window. Fifteen minutes later, Dru started talking.
Dru: Oops.
The minions were eating popcorn. Then Dru saw an oreo truck.
Dru: Ooh. Oreos. I want one.
Lucy started laughing.
Lucy: Dru.
The car stopped due to traffic. Gru growled.
Gru: Great. Traffic jams!
Lucy: Felonius, calm down.
Gru sighed.
Gru: I hate traffic jams.
Dru thought that his brother was talking about fruit.
Dru: What kind of jams? Strawberry, blackberry, Apple, blueberry? Is there a banana?
Gru: DRU!
Lucy: Not that kind of jam. It's a long line of vehicles that can't move forward due to too much traffic.
Dru: I knew that. I was just messing with you.
Gru: Hah, hah. Very funny. NOT!
Dru: Sorry brother.
Gru stared at the road and it started to rain.
Dru: Who's spitting on us?
Gru: That's rain, Dru.
John: New York!
Edith took a picture of the city with her phone. There was no traffic when Gru was driving.
Gru: Yes. No traffic.
Dru saw a sign that had something to do about lotto.
Dru: Lotto.
Gru: We never win.
Dru: You have to be in it to win it brother.
Lucy: This drive only took a few minutes.
Kevin: Purna.
Dru: We're in the city!
Margo: Wow. We made it.
Gru: Now minions, don't get lost.
Gru parked the car and everyone got out.
Gru: Let's find the Macy's.
Lucy put her protection suit on.
Gru: I haven't seen you wear that in a while.
Lucy: Germs are everywhere.
Pigeons were flying everywhere.
Dru: Brother! Look out!
Gru: Whoa! Pigeons!
Everyone went into the Macy's and they looked for the flower show. It turns out that the flower show was all over the Macy's and it was fairytale flower show.
Agnes: Whoa. It's a fairytale show.
Gru: What?
And it was very crowded.
Gru: Okay this is too crowded.
Edith: At least the minions didn't get lost.
Margo: Now what?
Gru: Let's get out of here.
Gru and his family went back to the Grumobile. Gru sighed. Lucy looked at him.
Lucy: What's wrong?
Gru: I'm so sorry Lucy. I thought this was a real flower show. I didn't know that it was a fairytale flower show all over the store.
Lucy: Gru, it's alright. We didn't know.
Gru: I knew that you liked flower shows and I wanted to take you to one.
Lucy: Gru, it doesn't matter where we go. As long as I'm with you, I'm happy.
Gru smiled at Lucy.
Gru: But I'm sorry about the Easter present.
Lucy: Gru, you're my Easter present. My family.
