Hey guys, I am going to go ahead and skip Brice and Cole's birthday, because I really want you all to see what I write for when Maggie Grace is born. I am going to do that chapter now. So I hope you enjoy and I'll be back soon.
One Thursday evening around 8:00, Juliet's water breaks. Shawn is at the station with Lassie and the kids are at Shawn's parents'. Juliet grabs her phone and calls Shawn.
"Hello?" Shawn asked.
"Hey are you on your way home?" Juliet asked.
"No. Why?"
"My water just broke."
"Jules I will be home in a few minutes. Pack a bag for all 3 of us. Rememebr breathe sweetheart."
"I know Shawn. I have done this 3 times remember?"
"Yeah I do. I love you."
"Love you too."
Shawn hung up the phone and went into Karen's office.
"Mr. Spencer what can do for you?" Karen asked.
"Jules just went into labor. I need to run home and get her." Shawn said.
"Alright. Call me when the baby is born."
"Got it."
Shawn ran out of the station and to his car, and got in it and drove to the house. Shawn got home and ran inside and saw Juliet in the bedroom getting stuff ready.
"Almost done?" Shawn asked.
"Yeah." Juliet said.
Juliet finished packing the bags and then handed them to Shawn and grabbed her phone and went out to the car and waited.
Shawn went to the trunk and put the bags in there and then grabbed the baby carrier and replaced it where Aaron's seat was. He got in and drove straight to the hospital.
On the way to the hospital Shawn called Kelly.
"Hello?" Kelly answered her phone.
"Hey Kelly. It's Shawn. Are you anywhere near the hospital?"
"Yeah. I am fixing to leave."
"Don't. Jules went into labor we're heading up there right now."
"Ok. I will see you in a bit. I will meet you guys by the entrance."
"Thank you."
Shawn hung up the phone and pulled into the hospital parking lot and pulled under the cover and saw Kelly waiting outside with a wheelchair. He got out and helped Juliet into the wheelchair and said, "I'll be in there in a second sweetheart."
"Ok baby." Juliet said.
Shawn gave Juliet a kiss and a hug and then went back to the car. He parked the car as quickly as possible and then went into the waiting room and asked for Juliet's room.
A nurse walked him to Juliet's room just in time before she was fixing to have Maggie.
"Oh Shawn, you're just in time." Juliet said.
"That fast huh?" Shawn asked.
"Yep. She can't wait to meet her daddy."
Shawn smiled.
Dr. Jones and a couple of nurses all gathered around Juliet and instructed her to do this and that.
5 more pushes and then a baby girl Spencer was in the world.
Shawn heard that first cry and cried.
"Shawn, do you want to cut the cord?" Kelly asked.
Shawn nodded. He cut the cord like he was told to do and then held Maggie for the first time.
"Hello Maggie Grace. I'm your daddy. I love you very very much." Shawn said.
Shawn walked over to Juliet and bent down so she could see Maggie.
Kelly took her up and cleaned her off and then put bracelets around them.
"What's her name?" Kelly asked.
"Maggie Grace Spencer." Juilet said.
"That's pretty. Here's your princess Shawn."
Kelly handed Maggie to Shawn and Shawn sat down in the chair in the corner next to Juliet's bed.
Maggie opened her eyes for the first time and grabbed Shawn's pinky finger.
"Jules, she has your eyes." Shawn said.
Juliet smiled.
"Are you happy baby?" Juliet asked.
"Oh yeah. I got my princess."
"I'm glad Shawn. I am happy she's a girl too."
Shawn got up and said, "Let's go see momma."
Shawn got in the bed with Juliet and handed her Maggie.
"Shawn you know this kid looks just like me." Juliet said.
"Well she is gorgeous let me put it that way." Shawn said.
Juliet smiled.
"Good job baby. I love you."
"I love you too. Want to call your parents?"
"I'll call them right now."
Shawn got up and pulled out his phone to call his dad.
"Hello?" Henry asked as he answered the phone.
"Hey dad. We have a surprise for you up at the hospital." Shawn said.
"She's here?"
"Yeah dad, she's here, and she's perfect in every way."
"Who does she look like?"
"Jules."
"Figured."
"Are you coming up here or going to wait until the morning?"
"I don't know. Your mom wants to talk to you."
Henry handed the phone to Maddie.
"Mom?" Shawn asked.
"Shawn." Maddie siad.
"She's here."
"Really?"
"Yeah. She so pretty mom. I finally have a girl."
"Goose, I know you wanted a girl for so long. In the process, she got 3 amazing brothers."
"I know mom. Are you coming up here?"
"I am on my way now. Your kids are at Karen's for the night."
"Ok. I will see you in a bit."
"Bye Goose."
Shawn hung up his phone and sat down in bed with Juliet and said, "Mom is coming up here."
"Boys?"
"Karen."
Shawn looked down at Maggie and smiled and picked her up and kissed her on the cheek.
"I love you pretty girl. Happy your finally here. Grandma is finally having another girl in the family."
Juliet laughed.
"What's so funny Juliet?" Shawn asked.
"I am actually kind of jealous that I'm not the only girl in the family anymore."
"Really? You are just like Aaron. Attention hog."
"That's where he gets it from."
"I love you. I will pay plenty attention to you. I promise."
"Good. You better pay attention to this high maintenance princess right here. Girls are work Spencer."
"I'm up for the challenge. If I don't like it I can always return her to you."
"Shut up Spencer and kiss me."
Shawn leaned down and gave Juliet a kiss.
Maddie walked in on Shawn and Juliet's kiss.
"Hey guys." Maddie said.
Shawn's eyes popped open and said, "Hey mom."
"Where's Maggie at?"
"Right here."
Shawn gave Maggie to Maddie.
Maddie went and sat over in the rocking chair and said, "Happy Shawn?"
"Yes ma'am. Finally." Shawn said.
"How about you Juliet?"
"I am so excited to have a girl. I have 4 boys at the house. I was feeling outnumbered. And I'm still outnumbered." Juliet said.
Maddie laughed.
"If you felt outnumbered I could've gotten a girl puppy." Shawn chimed in.
"No more dogs. Jax is 2 years old and that's enough for right now."
"Fine. What about a bulldog?"
"Didn't I say no more dogs?"
"Yeah. You didn't say Bulldogs."
"Spencer you know what I meant."
"Please Jules?"
"I will see. Let's get home first and get her settled down for the first few months and then we'll see. Deal?"
"Deal."
Maddie got up and said, "Goose she's precicous. She has your eyes Juliet."
"I know. We will see who she will turn out to look like in a few months hopefully." Juliet said.
"I think it will be you."
"Me too. Don't tell Shawn."
Maddie laughed and mouthed, "Never"
Maddie left and went back home.
Juliet called Karen.
"Hello?" Karen asked.
"Hey is your husband home?"
"Yeah."
"Tell him to watch the boys, we have someone we want you to meet."
"Really?"
"Yes Karen. She's here."
"I'm on my way."
Karen left and headed to the hospital. She got to the hospital and ended up taking Aaron with her. Karen asked for Juliet's room and walked up there with Aaron.
Aaron got to the door and knocked and Shawn opened the door.
Shawn looked down and said, "Hey dude. What's up?"
"Hey daddy." Aaron said.
"Is that my baby boy Aaron I hear?" Juliet asked.
"Hey mommy."
"Want to see your baby sister?"
Aaron nodded.
Shawn picked Aaron up and said, "Look Maggie, it's one of your brothers. This is Aaron. He is like me. He will be nice to you."
Aaron sat down and picked up Maggie's hand and Maggie wrapped her finger around Aaron's.
"She likes me mommy." Aaron said.
"She sure does. Let Aunt Karen say hey to Maggie do you mind?"
Aaron scooted over and patted the bed for Karen to sit down.
Karen sat down and grabbed Maggie from Juliet.
"Hey Maggie, I'm your Aunt Karen. You look just like your momma." Karen said.
Maggie started crying.
Shawn got up and handed Maggie back to Juliet.
Karen got up and got ready to go.
"Alright guys. She's precious. I will see you two tomorrow."
"Bye."
Shawn went over to the couch and said, "Aaron come here."
Aaron walked over to Shawn and said, "Yeah?"
"I love you son. Please be good. I might get you a piece of cake when we get home. Don't tell anybody. Our secret."
Aaron zipped his lips.
"I love you too daddy, mommy, and Maggie."
Aaron got up and ran to the edge of the bed and said, "Daddy pick me up."
Shawn got up and picked Aaron up and put him on the bed.
Aaron crawled over to Juliet and kissed Maggie on her forehead.
"Love you sister." Aaron said.
"Give mom a kiss." Juliet said.
Aaron gave Shawn and Juliet one more kiss and then Karen and Aaron left.
Shawn and Juliet were finally alone for the rest of the night.
"So do you want your first kangaroo time with Maggie right now?" Juliet asked.
"Please?" Shawn asked.
"Go ahead baby."
Shawn took off his shirt and grabbed Maggie and put her on his chest.
Shawn and Maggie stayed like that for 30 minutes and then Juliet figured out that Shawn fell asleep. She put Maggie in her crib and kissed Shawn.
"Good night Shawn." Juliet said.
"Good night Jules. I love you." Shawn said.
"I love you too."
