Summary: The second adventure. A shooting star falls on Earth—except it's not just a star. What follows is a quest for discovery, for some things are not always what they appear to be.

Disclaimer: I own nothing! Well, almost nothing. Also, this chapter does not include hobbits.

I think we all need a good break of exposition to figure out what is going on, right? Here you go.

"…Well, what happened before seems to happen when certain Beys battle each other… And oddly that also seems to make Rina act different, which apparently she doesn't remember afterwards." Madoka finished giving Hyoma a quick summary. Rina and Sonell had both stayed silent when asked about their apparent possession of holograms, and Hikaru had surprisingly stepped in and changed the subject.

"You can just keep calling me Kyoya. I never really liked my old name anyway." Sonell told Benkei. Hyoma was surprisingly taking the whole thing well. When Kenta bothered to ask why, he just said,

"I've heard about some weird things before, even if they weren't this strange. Stuff like Beys battling by themselves, talking harps… Oh look, there's Gingka!" Indeed, they did see Gingka walking down from a mountain path. He saw them too, and ran over.

"Hi everyone, sorry I ran off like that… Wait, who are you?" Hikaru deadpanned.

"You may call me Hikaru. Now, since I've heard you're such a strong blader, how about we battle?"

"Such a cheerful, relaxed person, huh?" Kyoya sarcastically quipped. Hikaru glared at him/her (I'll just say him to make it less confusing for everyone). Hyoma decided that he should be battling Gingka on the grounds that they were rivals and Gingka always lost. Which led to an argument over who should battle Gingka and Hikaru going off to battle Hyoma at a special arena called the Green Hades.

"Ummm, you know Hikaru has one of those Beys that…" The two ignored Rina and went off to battle. "Oh forget it, I'm going to go take a nap or something. I feel another headache coming on…" Rina just put her head in her hands as crashing and explosions were heard in the distance and the sky fluctuated between light and dark. Hikaru and Hyoma both came back soon after, both sulking. (Yay, first time it was used for comedic purposes!)

"Oh yeah, and I went up the mountain to find some scroll that could make Pegasus stronger, but it turned out just to be a letter from my dad." Gingka said. Everyone looked at each other.

"No comment," they all agreed. Gingka sweatdropped.

"So are we going back or what?" Gingka asked, regaining some of his usual excitement.

"Sure. Let's get out of here before we run into a talking dog or something!" Rina began skipping towards the exit, then tripped over her cloak and decided regular walking was an easier skill to master. Everyone followed. They were so caught up in getting back that they didn't notice the dog that should've canonically greeted them when they arrived. Oh well.
