Violet stood in the middle of her bedroom, staring at her reflection in her wide and long brown mirror that she had taken from the set of The O.C.. The day was officially over and the night had just begun. Her night had just begun. Norman and Jeffrey had finally left her home and at first the girl wished she could say she was officially alone. Alone in her house without any worries or fear. However, that wasn't the case. There was still someone in her household. He wasn't there in the flesh, but he was there... in Violet's head. And she could no longer fight the voices in her head anymore. She had lost the battle completely. Shawn was in complete control of her now.

She was sitting on her bedroom floor, leaning against the bedroom door, crying her heart out for what seemed to be like hours. But eventually all the tears stopped as she rocked her body back and forth to try and control Shawn's voice in her head. But it was too much for the girl and she could no longer handle it. She had to let Shawn give her freedom, feeling like it was too much pain to hold on and fight. He was in control now. In control of her body and mind, and most importantly, her actions. Actions that could destroy her career, her friendships, and most importantly, her relationship that she has with Jeffrey.

But with thousands of thoughts scattering her mind and clouding her judgement, she had one question that she has been holding onto for the past few days now. What else do I have to lose? Violet thought, feeling like she had lost everything and everyone she had loved and cared about. She lost her parents and her siblings a long time ago. She screwed up the bond she had with Shawn's parents and kids. She lost Norman because he pretended to be her on a dating website. And the one that had made her confused and heartbroken the most was losing Jeffrey, because of Shawn taking every fibre of her being and splitting them apart.

So she gave up. She let the voice in her head control her, letting go, losing herself.

Violet found herself standing in the mirror, checking out her body as she was finishing up getting ready to go out clubbing tonight. She hasn't been to a club in such a long time, she thought it would be nice to go drink, party, and dance with hundreds of sweaty bodies on the middle of the dance floor. During her teenage years when she wasn't working and was single, the biggest clubs around the world seemed like it was her only home. She didn't know what to do with herself back then besides go to clubs, drink, and dance. It was her nature and over time she had built her own solace and home, but now, that place was invaded. Invaded because of Shawn.

She stood in front of the mirror, zipping up her tight laced black dress, while adding red lipstick, mascara, and a touch of grey eye-shadow. Once her hair was straightened and her black five inch heels were strapped around her ankles the girl was ready to go. But before the girl had exited her bedroom she stared into the mirror one last time and gulped loudly, seeing Shawn in the background with a wide smile on his face. "You look nice," he said. "Your officially ready to party now," he continued, getting under the girl's skin.

Without a single word, Violet had only replied with her eyes, giving the man a glare, with some sadness that peeked through her guarded walls of pain, truth, and sorrow. She couldn't help but not hide her feelings when it came to Shawn, no matter what. He was just always someone that she had to be truthful with, no matter the cost. "Shut-" Violet tried to speak but was soon cut off by Shawn silencing.

"You look beautiful, baby," Shawn said to Violet in a silent and husky voice while wrapping his arms around her waist. "Now, go out, and have fun for me."

Exiting the bedroom the girl made her way down the hallway of her house. Once she entered the living room she grabbed her purse, cellphone, and keys, wanting to make sure she had everything she needed in case something bad were to happen. Finally leaving her home the girl locked her front door and hopped into her car. While starting up the engine her phone had started to buzz in her purse.

Jumping to her newfound distraction, the girl's eyes beamed to her purse and pulled out her phone, seeing Jeffrey calling her while leaving ten text messages and a few voice mail's from the previous missed calls she didn't answer. She looked at the phone hesitantly, listening to all of his voice messages and reading his texts.

"Violet where are you?"

"We're all ready to film but the whole cast and crew are waiting for you."

"Where'd you disappeared to?"

"Please pick up or text back, please...I want to make sure your safe."

"Ignore him Violet!" Violet heard Shawn yelling at the top of his lungs while sitting in the backseat of the car, staring into her eyes in the mirror. The girl jumped in her seat, shocked and surprised to see him pop into the backseat of her car out of no where. "Who cares about work, when all you need to focus on now, is me, you, and what you need to do in order to keep me around," Shawn said in a polite and soft tone, but as he continued talking his eyes became darker and rage was starting to consume him. "I'm in control now Violet, and when I'm in control we all get what we want. Isn't that a nice thing?"

Violet slowly nodded her head while holding back her tears, focusing on her breathing and her heartbeat in order to calm herself down. She turned her cellphone off and stuck her phone back into her purse, shutting out everyone for the rest of the night. Focusing on driving once more she pulled out of the driveway and made her way to the cub.

"That's my girl." Shawn said with an evil grin plastered all over his face.

Jeffrey's POV

The man who played Negan himself paced back forth of the forest in the middle of the night. Sighing heavily while running his hand through his hair every few minutes, worried, panicked, frustrated, and most of all, heartbroken. Ever since he left Violet's home he was only able to think of one thing. One thing that he couldn't ignore. For the rest of the day he tried distracting himself by doing all sorts of things. Auditioning for movie roles, paying a visit to his son, and taking care of his farm. However, with every second that had passed, he still felt that the one thing was his main priority. It was the only thing he worried about, the only thing that made him paranoid, and the only thing that he has always worried about since the first few days. And that was Violet.

The actress that he met not long ago was the one thing he couldn't stop thinking of. All day, he couldn't stop thinking about why she screamed at him, telling him to get out. He was confused, especially with how they were getting along. They were bonding with each other, having a good time with one another, and out of no where something changed, causing the girl to shout at him until he was off her property. He didn't know what had caused her mood swing to change so abruptly, and he was desperate to try and figure out why.

From the moment he saw her today he knew that something was wrong with her, but he couldn't figure out why. He thought of every possible solution and he couldn't think about anything that could cause her to be this angry, even when he couldn't think of him doing anything wrong or saying anything wrong to her. He knew that the relationship they both shared with Norman was over, and that was difficult for the both of them, but he felt like he shouldn't be at fault for the fake profile, knowing that it was Norman's doing, and he thought he was talking to her this whole time.

With thousands of worries about Violet filling his head, he walked around the forest, trying to get ahold of the girl so everyone could start filming. They needed Violet for this scene, as it was an important one that effects her character. But after two hours of waiting for her, Violet was still a no show. She hasn't shown up to work since everyone had gotten together on set, and after today's interaction with her, it made his mind become scattered with millions of thoughts that he needed answers too.

Why did she yell at me when we were having a nice conversation? Why did she freak out the way she did after sounding relaxed and peaceful? Should I have stayed with her when she was yelling at me? Maybe if I stayed I could've helped her out? I could've helped her...

Jeffrey sighed one more time and stopped in his tracks. Looking down at his phone he let out a breath of disappointment, upset and paranoid as to why Violet wasn't replying back to any of his texts and phone calls and why she didn't show up to work today. Oh god, what if Gimple fires her for always leaving work early and now not showing up? Jeffrey's eyes beamed as his mouth dropped from his thoughts invading his emotions. I need to do something... I need to say something to Gimple so she didn't get yelled at or fired... he panicked.

He paced around the forest a few more times, thinking of a few things he could tell Gimple so she wouldn't get in trouble. Lately Gimple has been looking at Violet differently and now barely talks to her. Never giving Gimple a heads up and not letting anyone know where her whereabouts are, leading everyone to panic and worry about her. He needed to come up with something, and something quick.

"Jeffrey!," Jeffrey's heartbeat started to accelerate and he turned around slowly, putting his phone back into his pocket, hearing the man's voice coming his way.

As he turned around he saw Gimple walking up to him. "Have you heard from Violet? No one else could get ahold of her? It's late, we're supposed to get our scenes done, and everyone is getting tired."

The man stood for a few seconds and decided on the most easiest lie ever that everyone uses to try and get out of things. "Yeah, I just got off the phone with her. She's sick, she said she was puking all day and even her voice was a little raspy."

Gimple sighed and ran a hand through his hair. In a awkward silence he continued to sigh and he crossed his arms against his chest, giving Jeffrey a tired and disappointed look. "Alright, I guess we'll skip ahead and film a few scenes that she's not in and close up for the night."

"Yes, boss." Jeffrey replied back while nodding his head, relived that he believed his lie.

"Are you and Violet going to be ready for the Build Series interview tomorrow?" Gimple asked.

"Yes sir, I'll pick Violet up and make sure she's ready for tomorrow," Jeffrey replied back while walking back to set with him.

The Build Series was a talk show that had all sorts of celebrities on the show. Gimple chose Jeffrey and Violet to go on the show to promote season 8. While walking back to set the man who played Negan felt worried, wondering about the interview while wondering if Violet could actually be ready for a thirty eight minute tomorrow.

A few hours have now past and Jeffrey had finally finished work. It was three in the morning and he was now standing on his doorstep, feeling exhausted. After staying late at work while being low on sleep waiting for Violet and then having to Act was a challenge for him. It made him feel drained and now he couldn't wait to pass out.

Pulling out his keys he unlocked the door and walked into the living room. Closing the door he turned around and smiled as he saw his dog running toward him, greeting him after being gone all day. Quickly saying hello and good tonight to one of his pets he walked into the bathroom and stripped every piece of clothing off. His body exposed he turned on the shower and jumped into it once the water had turned hot. While feeling relaxed Jeffrey dove deep into his thoughts, thinking about his worries and fears, as well as his future.

Once he stepped out of the shower he dried his body off and slipped into a pair of boxers. Sitting on his bed he checked his phone one last time before going to sleep, planning on calling Violet or texting her, in hopes that she would finally reply back to him. As he unlocked the home screen a notification had popped up at the top of his screen, a text from his soon-to-be ex-wife. Tapping on the notification, the text message had taken up his entire screen.

Courtney: "It's going to be pretty easy to win soul custody of Gus if you continue dating drug addicts."

Courtney then sent an attachment to Jeffrey. Once the man finished reading her text he clicked on the attachment below, confused as to what she was talking about. The attachment eventually loaded and a frown started to form on Jeffrey's face. It was a picture of Violet standing in the middle of the dance floor with a few people, holding a drink in her hand. This picture was proof of evidence that Violet had gone back to her bad habits. The man was shocked and didn't know what to think.

He turned his phone off and threw it across the bedroom. He went over to the lamp and turned it off before laying in his bed. While laying in darkness he tried to process everything that's happening and everything that might happened. He felt ashamed and disappointed in Violet, but also felt nervous and scared for the girl. He was proud of her for quitting and for staying strong but now that she relapsed he was worried that she'll fall into the darkness completely this time and never return. Unless if something were to happen that could make her change her mind and seek help for her issues.

Something needs to happen quick, or else, everyone will get hurt in the end...

The next morning Jeffrey woke up from his alarm roaring in his ears. He woke up immediately and slammed the snooze button on his alarm. He stretched out his body while letting out a yawn and bolted from his bed, undressing himself and hoping into the shower. Today was a brand new day for the actor and he didn't know what would come, only to prepare himself for the worst to happen. Today was the day he planned on looking for clues, real evidence that the girl he cares about deeply actually walked back down a dark road. It was hard for him to believe it but he needed to see it with his own eyes. Please, Violet, prove everyone wrong... Jeffrey thought.

His shower was now finished and he was ready to make his way to Violet's house. To pick her up so they can both do the interview and so he could look around the house to see if any drugs were hidden somewhere. Today was an unpredictable day for the man, and he had to remember to stay calm as much as he could. His sake and for Violet's.

On his way to the girl's house the man could feel his heart skip a beat every time he got closer to Violet's home. Anxiety would affect his nerves as he clutched onto the steering wheel, his palms getting sweatier by the minute. He couldn't help but wonder if he would be walking into the house to see a hungover Violet, or to see a sober Violet that was actually in a good mood. It was hard to tell which interaction he'll have but either way, he still knew what he needed to do to help her.

He pulled into the driveway and took a deep breath and got out of the car. He closed the car door and locked his vehicle, soon walking up the steps to get to the front door of the house that belonged to Violet. Without hesitating, Jeffrey twisted the doorknob and walked through the front door, "Violet!" He called. He didn't have the patients to wait outside the door until she answered the door hungover or confused. He needed to get her ready for the interview and he needed to talk to her about getting some help. "Violet!" He called again as he searched a few rooms before checking her bedroom.

Jeffrey slowly walked into Violet's bedroom and saw the girl snuggled into her blankets while cuddling with one of her pillows. As the man walked closer to the girl his cheeks started to blush, finding her extremely adorable. While watching her sleep peacefully he saw her slowly move her head while taking deep breaths, starting to wake up. She opened her eyes and made direct eye contact with the man who played Negan, causing a smirk to appear across his lips. Both Jeffrey and Violet gazing into each other's eyes, both of them feeling like they could get lost into each other for eternity.

"Hi," Violet said softly.

"Hi," Jeffrey replied in a smooth tone, his smile getting bigger.

"What are you doing here?" She asked the man.

"Today, we have to go onto the Build Series to promote the rest of season seven," Jeffrey continued, "Remember? It was scheduled for this day since last week."

Violet's eyes beamed a little but didn't have any energy to react at the interview. "Okay, I just need to shower and change before we go," Violet raised her hand and stretched out her body. As she placed a hand on the top of her head a small smile started to peak across her face. "Oh no," she said, referencing to the afro that had formed while she was sleeping. Jeffrey let out a chuckle and soon she chuckled, the man finding her to be everything he wanted.

Violet's POV

Violet's feet touched the bedroom floor and she soon rushed into the bathroom. Wanting to shower and change as fast as she could so they both weren't late for the interview. While standing in the mirror she stripped pieces of her clothing off, one by one, and yelped in pain. She stopped getting ready for her shower and looked at all the bruises and scratches on her legs and arms. "What the hell?" She asked herself out aloud and tried to think about what she did last night.

Not being able to remember a single thing from last night she sighed and did her best to not worry about it. She turned the shower on and once it was boiling hot water she hopped into the tub. While washing her and body she closed her eyes, relaxing her body as well as letting the hot water wash off all the make-up, dirt, and dried blood that drenched most of her entire body. Her eyes remained shut and as the hot water poured down her body she started to doze off as a flashback had started to occur.

She saw herself standing in the middle of the dance club, her hips swaying back and forth as she downed pills and chugged back a lot of drinks. She was covered in sweat as she danced all around the club, drinking enough to the point she became black out drunk and began knocking and smashing over everything. Once the flashback was over Violet opened her beaming eyes, remembering what she did last night and remembering bailing on work. Turning off the shower she wrapped a towel over her body and got out of the bathtub, exiting the bathroom and walking into the bedroom.

Changing into a pair of black tight jeans and a white tank top, as well as a beige leather jacket and black boots. Wrapping her hair into a long ponytail the girl was ready to go. She left her bedroom and stumbled into the living room, searching for Jeffrey as he was no longer in sight. Standing in the middle of the hallway she saw Jeffrey sitting on the couch, waiting patiently for her to get ready. Walking toward the couch she stopped in her tracks as the body started turning around and revealed Shawn's face.

"You need to take the drugs and give up again in order to be with me. If you want me to stay you have to do the drugs, so we can be together forever," Shawn said to Violet as a smirk had started to appear on his face.

Violet's heart began to skip a beat as she backed up slowly while looking in every direction of her surroundings. She then quickly rushed into the kitchen after knowing Jeffrey wasn't in her sight. Before opening up the big brown bag she checked her surroundings one last time, not wanting to get caught by the man that cared about her the most. Pulling out a tiny ball of coke she sorted it in a even line and quickly snorted it up her nostrils. Feeling the buzz slowly kick in she wrapped the bag back up and hid it in the cabinet.

"You ready to go?" Jeffrey asked Violet with a raised eyebrow as he walked into the kitchen.

Violet nodded her head and they both excited the house and got into Jeffrey's car, now making their way to the interview.

Jeffrey and Violet were now in the building, standing behind backstage as they waited to be called out and greet the crowd of screaming fans before they took their seats. As they waited behind the curtain Violet could see every fan in the crowd, all of them with huge smiles on their faces as they were filled with excitement. She smiled back, excited to see her fans too as her pupils grew bigger and bigger meanwhile her heart increased in speed every few minutes. It was pure adrenaline and she couldn't get enough of it. "You ready to go on stage?" Violet asked her co-star who stood beside her.

"Not really, I'm a little nervous, but I think I can handle it," Jeffrey explained.

Violet turned her focus from the fans and onto Jeffrey. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace while planting a kiss on his cheek. Once they make eye contact with each other Jeffrey smiled as he already felt calmed. The interviewer had now called their names out onto the stage and as Violet entered the stage first Jeffrey's smile soon faded, knowing that the hug and kiss was just friends bonding.

"Thank you both for coming," The interviewer said as he shook Violet and Jeffrey's hand before sitting back in their seats.

"Thank you for having us," Jeffrey replied back.

"So, we don't have a whole lot of time with everything I'd like to go through with the both of you so I'm going to start it off right away. Violet how do you feel that the show's been on for seven years."

Violet took a deep breath and stuck the microphone near her lips. "It's honestly great to be apart of a show that has now been on the air for seven years. I've done a lot of shows over the years and it's always tough for a show to get renewed for a fourth season because after about three seasons usually writers run out of ideas and they struggle to carry on with the storylines, but with The Walking Dead, Gimple is just amazing."

"Jeffrey how do you feel about becoming a new member of the show?" The interviewer asked Jeffrey.

"Becoming apart of the show was a little nerve racking at first. Everyone told me that my life was going to change and I thought that would've been a sack of shit," Jeffrey paused for a moment as the crowd started to laugh. "But then after the show aired, I never realized how popular Negan was and how popular the show was. My life now is entirely different," he said while turning to Violet, knowing that she had changed a lot of things in his life.

As the interview continued it was finally starting to come to a close, the fans now asking two of their favorite characters from the show. "This question is for Violet," a fan stood from his chair and spoke into a microphone that was given to them. "I was wondering how the friendship will change between your character and Daryl's, especially with everything that's been going on with Negan's character."

Violet paused and pushed her hair back, thinking of an answer. "Uh... I think that for the rest of season seven you see the two survivors really depend on each other after the deaths of Glenn and Abraham. They kinda have a different respect and trust that they have with one another, however, Daryl doesn't know about what's happening with her and Negan yet."

Once Violet finished answering the question another fan stood. "This question is for Jeffrey. Do you ever think your character and Violet's character will end up being in a relationship together?"

"That's honestly a very good question. In my perspective, I think it would be a little interesting if they started to date, just to see how it will go since the two are complete opposites. However," Jeffrey paused for a moment, trying to think of the right words without spoiling anything for the fans. "Yes they were complete opposites in the way that they do things and they both care about different people in their own way, however, whenever Negan sees her he can't help but be as kind as he can be and feel remorse for the girl. I think Negan feels like she's the only person that he's met so far since the apocalypse started who he can talk to and depend on."

"Okay, and we are now out of time. Jeffrey, Violet, thank you both for coming again and hopefully we can have the two of you back soon." The interview hugged Violet and Jeffrey goodbye while the audience clapped as the two celebrities walked off of stage.

While walking off of stage Jeffrey grabbed Violet by the arm and pulled her to the side. He made eye contact with her before saying anything and saw how huge and bloodshot her eyes really were. He knew she was on drugs, especially during the entire interview, and now it was time for him to speak up about it. "Violet, how dare you walk onto the stage and answer all sorts of questions while your not in your right mind. I know that you've been doing drugs again and it has got to stop. Please, before you get yourself or someone else hurt."

Violet's eyes began to fill with water and soon a stream of tears ran down her face. She sobbed while looking at Jeffrey, ready to tell him everything. "I can't, Jeff. He has power over me," Violet stopped for a moment and thought of everything she had been through since Shawn had been back. Since Shawn had been haunting her. She turned her head and looked into Jeffrey's chocolate eyes. "I hate to admit it, but I do need help. I just can't be anywhere around here to seek it."

Jeffrey raised his hand and placed it on the girl's cheek, wiping the wet tears off her cheeks. "Don't worry, it may seem like everyone has left you but you still have me. I have a place we can stay at until you get better. I promise you Violet, I'll help you get better."
