Sorry, I'm taking forever to post new chapters!

Ceiling to floor book case filled with over hundred or so volumes covered all four sides of the small room. A wooden table sat near the far wall with a matching wooden chair next to it. Unlit candles took the space on the edge of the wooden table. Dust covered mostly everything in it's path.
I stumbled upon this room by accident. I was tired of listening to Robert fight with his minions over and over about useless stuff that didn't matter and Mia arguing with her father. So, I walked and walked, threw walls and rooms until I came upon this secret library.
Who's ever this room belonged to, hasn't been here in a long time. Pulling out the lighter I found, I walked over the candles and lit them one by one. It wasn't completely dark, but again it also wasn't completely bright either since the small, dusty window only allowed in so much light.
Going over to one of the book cases, I ran the tips of my fingers over the leather-bound books. Most of them are about the Moroi world. There were a few books about the humans and the Alchemists, but not much. Pulling out a book about spirit, I sat down at the wooden table and began reading.
"There's many negative side effects of spirit," I read from the ancient book. "It leads to depression and insanity."
I know little kids can't use magic until they get older, but Rosalie's best friend James used magic to bring her back to life and his only in kindergarten. It doesn't make sense! How is it possible for a little kid to bring back another little kid from the dead when he's even not suppose to have magic until he gets older?
Maybe the bond they share is only temporary. I mean Rosalie can only read James' mind and see some ghosts like me, but their bond isn't like any other one I've read about so far. I don't think what Rosalie and James have is really a bond. A temporary connection between two people maybe, but not a bond.
"If the spirit user has brought someone back from the dead," I continued reading, "the person will absorb the side effects, but it in turn makes them experience dark feelings."
Rosalie seems to be the same person she was before she "died." I don't think she really died, but was maybe unconscious which made it look like she was dead. But, what about the "bond" between Rosalie and James? It says here that someone who is shadow-kissed can slip into the spirit user's mind and read their thoughts, experience things as if they themselves were the spirit user and also see ghosts.
So far, I'm the only ghost Rosalie can see and talk to. I've walked the halls of court numerous times and haven't seen any other ghosts. Maybe since the "bond" is only temporary that Rosalie doesn't have the full side affects like an older person who is shadow-kissed has. A Person like Rose for example. When Lissa and Rose were both teenagers, Lissa brought Rose back to life by healing her.
But, they were like fifteen or so when that happened, not when they were still in kindergarten. So, how in world did Rosalie and James form a "bond?" Turning the pages in the book I had sitting in lap, I began skimming over the pages in order to find the most useful information. It's hard to read some of the stuff in this book since it's been covered in dust and locked up probably before any of us were even born.
"Spirit has been around for centuries." I kind of figured that since there's a list written below of the few Moroi who were spirit users in their time. "Spirit, like any other element, is hereditary. There has to be at least one person in the family who is a spirit user in order to pass down the trait."
Whoa, I didn't see that one coming. So, someone in both Lissa's and James' families has to be a spirit user in order for them to be one. But, the question is who? All of Lissa's family members are dead except for Jill and I don't know anything about James' family. What I do know is that at least one person in both of their families wield or wielded spirit. I know for a fact that whoever was the spirit user in Lissa's family was must have died centuries before everyone in the Moroi world forgot about that element.
Why was spirit forgotten in the first place? This book also lists the many different ways the Moroi used spirit to help people back then. Like healing cuts. What I don't understand is how a large population of people could just simply forget an element like spirit. There are only a few spirit users in the world, but we only know a couple of them. What about the others? Do they, too, have bond mates or friends and family to help them?
In the book it says there are different types of bonds. The one Rosalie and James have is not the same one that Rose and Lissa had shared. The bond Lissa and Rose had shared is called a one way bond which means the person who is shadow-kissed can only read the spirit user's thoughts and know where he or she is at all the time. As I read more it turns out there are temporary bonds, after all.
"Temporary bonds fade over time when the spirit user and the shadow-kissed grow apart from one and another." Now, that I think about it, Rosalie and James have been living two separate lives ever since they've been kidnapped. But, that's mostly due to their parents and not them. "As the bond fades, the spirit user and the shadow-kissed will soon forget ever being bonded. They will live on not knowing they have once been temporarily bonded with another person. The spirit user and the shadow-kissed will cross paths, but none of them will remember anything about being bonded."
Sitting here reading this makes me feel not one emotion, but all different kinds of emotions. Rosalie and James won't remember ever being bonded to each other, but everyone who knows about them being bonded once will still remember. I mean I guess it's a good thing since they're only five and have their whole lives ahead of them to worry about. But, how did a temporary bond form? That's my major question.
Skimming down toward the bottom of the page in the book is where I found my answer. "A temporary bond is formed when a spirit user heals a person, but not enough to form a strong bond. The person who was healed is still known as shadow-kissed, but only temporarily, though."
Wow, this book really wants the reader to know that temporary bonds are only temporarily. Not that the word "temporary" means anything else. Anyways, now that I figured out what kind of bond Rosalie and James have, I can now tell Rose. Or better yet, I could leave the book in a place where she might find and hopefully read it.
I known for the longest time since Rosalie and James became temporarily bonded, Rose has been wanting answers to her many questions about their bond. This book has those answers Rose has been searching for. Maybe this whole room has more answers. Like how do we officially stop the Strigoi once and for all?
Instead of just showing this one book to her, maybe I should show Rose and the others this whole underground room filled ceiling to floor with ancient books. But, again Rose really pregnant and you have walk down a long flight of stairs to get here. Or I could possibly just bring the most important and useful books up there and leave them in Rose's and Dimitri's apartment where I'm guessing everyone is at since they cleaned out Mia's creepy room.
Do they know Mia stole some official court documents that are mixed in with the same documents of people's lives? I mean we are trying to find information that will help us lock up Mia forever, but wouldn't attacking the Moroi queen be enough to lock her up. That's what the council members, or officials as some people call them, were discussing when I left them. Last time I checked, they didn't even have a date set for Robert's trial and now they're figuring out if Mia needs a trial or not.
Since, Lissa was the person who Mia attacked, it made Lissa unable to decide what happens to Mia. But, I know Lissa is doing everything she could to help lock up Robert and his minions. With or without a trial, they still deserve to be sent to prison for the crime they did. I bet the minions probably have past criminal records that could make them more likely to be locked up if we find them. Which means I need to get the others now and tell them to look specifically for the minions life documents. Plus, it gives me a chance to see how my friends are doing since I've been busy with popping in and out of Robert's spirit dreams with his minions, spying on people around court and searching for new ways to help lock up our enemies.
Shoving the book about spirit into my bag, I looked around the dusty room in hopes of quickly finding more important and useful books. Going to the large book case where I found the spirit book at, I pulled down the books about the Moroi, Dhampirs, Strigoi, Humans, Royals, Non-royals and Alchemists, and shoved those too in my bag. Once, I had my bag completely full, I blew out the candles and left the room to find my friends.
I had a tight grip on my bag as I made my way down the hall. Passing people left and right, I tried not to focus on them seeing how they don't even know I'm here, anyways. Coming to guardian family apartments, I picked up my speed a little. I could run all the way to Rose's and Dimitri's apartment, but again the books might fall out of my bag and I don't that to happen. Turning the corner, I almost ran into Rose and Dimitri themselves. Dimitri had his hands cupped around Rose's face as he talked in low voice to her while Rose just stood there with pleading eyes.
"Dimitri, I already promised you that wouldn't go near that man," Rose said in a soft. "Please, just tell who he is and what he wants."
"Roza, I will tell you everything you want to know, but not right now. Not here," Dimitri assured her as he pulled Rose to him in an embrace. "Come on. Let's get back to others."
I followed close behind Rose and Dimitri as they headed back to their apartment. I wonder who the man they're talking about is. It has to be someone Dimitri doesn't want Rose to go near. I passed quite a few men on my way down here. Most of them were guardians seeing how this level of the residential areas are homes for the many guardians who live and work here.
Once, we were at their apartment, Dimitri opened the door allowing Rose to enter in first before he went in behind her. I slipped in after Dimitri and was kind of taken aback when I saw tons of piles of documents spread out on floor. Some of my friends sat on the couches while others sat at the dinning table, but only one friend caught my attention. I stood there unable to move. All I could do was watch from afar. My knees gave out making me clasp on the ground in one big, sobbing mess.
My best friend. My brother. My everything. My Eddie Castile.
Please, review!
