I talked, she talked; I shouted, she shouted; I argued with her, she argued with me; she cried, I cried; we both apologised.

By 3am we had said all we could say, she had shed enough tears, we were both exhausted. It was time to sleep, and so when I asked her if she would sleep next to me in our marital bed, she accepted. Just sharing a bed again would be a start, the rest would hopefully follow soon, or at least I thought it would…
