Poisoned

I am so sorry for this late update. Thank you all who stuck with me and for those who didn't, that's completely understandable. I hope this chapter is okay. Here we go!

"Iceland! Oh dear God, no!"

Said nation gently flickered his eyes open and weakly got to his knees. "Who?" He looked around, eyes catching Finland's. "Finland!" The little one crawled over to the bigger one, only then noticing that Finland was chained to the wall, each arm had a length of chain attached to the stone.

Finland strained against his bonds and tried his best to hug Iceland. "Oh my gosh…why you? Why?" He looked the island nation up and down. "Are you injured?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Where's Sweden?"

As if to answer his question, a cry rang out from the hallway.

"Russia's…"

A whip crack sounded along with a yell of pain.

"Su-san, he's taking a punishment." Finland choked back tears.

Russia appeared, dragging Sweden behind him, chaining the nation to the other side of the room in the same way as Finland. "Stay here, my little Swede. I have to get America. I believe he wants to get acquainted with Iceland."

Sweden looked up at the sound of the new name. "What?" Looking to Finland, he finally saw the extra body. "What do you want with him?" He didn't sound angry, he just sounded tired.

Russia shrugged. "America knows. He'll come down soon." With that, he left, going upstairs to go get America.

"Oh geez," Iceland murmured, going over to Sweden. Russia had put the nation back into the blue uniform Sweden was always wearing. Iceland noticed how weak and bloody and starved the two looked. They weren't really thin but they weren't as healthy as they should be, considering they were nations. "Why are you guys here? How?"

"Russia got us," the two nations said together.

Iceland's eyes started to tear up and he buried his face into Finland's shoulder. "What's going to happen to us?"

"Oh nothing. If you cooperate." America came down the stairs, followed by Russia.

Finland gripped Iceland tightly while Sweden moved forward, trying in complete despair to get closer to his friend and lover.

"Take him." America pointed at Iceland. "Get him over here."

Russia moved immediately and went to Finland, who moved to protect Iceland. The taller one grabbed the island and practically wrenched him away.

The force of the grab caused Finland to jerk forward, crying out when the chains stopped his movement.

"Finland!" Sweden's concerned shout was heard above the rattle of chains.

"I'm fine." Finland turned over to Russia and gulped in horror when the violet eyed nation handed the whip to his temporary master. "Wait, why are you going to whip him?"

America glared at the lower one and struck Finland across the face with the whip. "Hush!"

Finland's head snapped to the side, an angry red mark marking where he was struck.

"You do not speak unless spoken to, you got that?" America's voice was strong.

Finland didn't respond. F*ck him. "Let Iceland go, you bastard. He is no threat to you. He doesn't even have an army," the Nordic mumbled.

Sweden was at the end of his chains with anticipation and fear. He strained when Finland was whipped and didn't know what to say to America's order. Shit. What do I do?

Iceland swallowed. America and Russia were talking and all he heard was whip and bloody. I have to be brave for these two. They've already suffered enough.

Russia suddenly turned and rounded on Iceland, surprising the Nordics. "Come with me. We want to show you our hospitality, da?"

Finland stiffened. "Over my dead body."

Russia smiled. "That can easily be arranged." He drew out a pistol from his pocked and aimed it.

Finland just stood still and waited.

Russia smiled and pulled back the hammer.

"Stop!" Iceland's yell caused Finland to jump and he tore himself away from the Finnish man. "I can take whatever's coming to me." He followed the Russian bravely form the cell, not looking back. The Icelandic was surprised when he was lead upstairs. Aren't they going to hurt me? He was lead to the kitchen where he was Canada, obviously doing something that involved chemistry. There were beakers and bottles and things were burning.

"Dude! Come on!" America shouted. "What are you doing?! We eat there!"

Canada didn't respond right away. He didn't even turn around. "I see you have a new prisoner."

Eyes turned to Iceland and the nation squirmed uncomfortably.

Canada smirked at the silence. He turned and grabbed a glass of water. "This Iceland?"

Iceland nodded. "You're Canada."

"Now people know who I am." The Canadian turns to America. "Did you offer him a glass of water before he his forced down in the dark?"

America shook his head. "Here."

Iceland turned and saw a glass of water in America's hand. Now he realized how thirsty he was. He took the glass and drank slowly, savoring the water that soothed his parched throat.

America started talking about why he wanted Iceland and what would happen to him.

Iceland started feeling sleepy. He coughed and noticed that there were specks of blood on his hand. What is this? Suddenly, his stomach was wracked with pain and his head was burning. America was still talking and Iceland turned to meet Canada's eyes. They eyes looked bored ye, mildly amused. That was the last thing before Iceland slumped to the floor, unconscious.

America had stopped talking and looked at the body on the floor. "Is he-?"
Canada shook his head. "He's poisoned but not dead. The liquid is not fatal. It will cause him agony while unconscious but that's it." Canada's eyes floated over to Iceland. "Put him down with the other two. They'll be distraught. It'll be fun." He nodded to Russia. "Do it."

Russia nodded back and took the Icelandic downstairs.

Canada watched them go. He smiled. "I need a little fun right now." The two brothers looked at each other with a serious look. Then they both smiled slowly.

"Dear brother," America almost whispered, "we both need a little fun right now."

So I hope it wasn't that bad. The ending may not be good and Russia didn't get a huge part. Sorry. I think that it's time for Britain to have some spotlight…maybe. Or maybe France. Anyway, once again, thank you for sticking with me. This is FlamboyantLollipop signing out. Until next time.
