No one's P.O.V.
Sting paced nervously as Lucy and Rouge attended to the exceeds. Their bodies were small so it didn't take long to care for their injuries. Once they were properly cared for, Lucy laid them on the couch. Lucy grabbed a few band aids out of the first aid box before putting it away. The trio then sat down at the table in the kitchen. Sting interrogated Lucy as Rouge helped her to bandage the newly formed blisters on her feet. Once Sting's flow of questions stopped, Rouge looked directly at Lucy. "You didn't have to hurt yourself. They would have been fine for a little while longer."
"I wanted to help them as quickly as I could; after all, they are important to you and Sting."
Sting stared in utter befuddlement at this exchange. Rouge never put anything before Frosch. In the same way, Sting never put anything before Lector, yet Rouge was thinking the same thing as Sting. What is happening to us? Sting wondered.
Author's note: Just a quick little aftermath of the previous chapter. The next chapter will be significantly longer and at that time, the exceeds will have recovered enough to move around.
Let me know what you think, I miss the flow of comments I had before.
