Bursting from the ground, the Lord of Evil, Hunson Abadeer, came to the Land of Ooo. He was after Finn, the only human remaining, to replace him in being the new ruler of the Nightosphere. While attempting to capture him, Marceline the Vampire Queen tried to stop Hunson Abadeer from taking Finn. Unable to move and paralyzed with fear, Princess Bubblegum called upon Peppermint Butler and the Banana Guards to stop Hunson Abadeer from what he is doing. After the struggle, he has won Finn ovee Marceline and the others. Preparing to escape, something unexpected happen, the amulet glowed and Finn started to float. Unknown and confused to what was happening, they are all in awe to him. Finn, now standing, took the amulet and wore it and transforming him into the new ruler of the Nightosphere. While on the ground, Marceline cannot believe what she is seeing right now. Finn walked towards her and offered his hand as assistance. Confusing as it is, she accepted the offer and stood up. While doing so, he carried her with his two hands, like a princess and whispered. After whispering, she has fallen unconscious and he started to walk towards to cracked ground. Before entering the Nightosphere, he gave a little smile then vanished. The Princess of the Candy Kingdom, the Butler and the Banana Guards just stood and let that happen. Unable to fully comprehend what just happened, the Banana Guards question what had just happened. No one knows what just happened and crying was heard. The princess of the Candy Kingdom became teary-eyed and was hyperventilating. She fell on to the ground, on her knees. Unable to comprehend that the last human in the land of Ooo is now gone. She yowled in anguish and sadness, unbale to take the fact that Finn is gone. She then stood up and clenched her fists and spoke. At this point, Peppermint Butler felt the Princess' sadness.
PB: "He's… he's… gone… How could this have happened in front of me? I could have done something but I didn't. It was too late! Everything was too late! FINN!" she yelled and blamed the disappearance of Finn onto herself.
After speaking and stopped crying, she looked at the former ruler of the Nightosphere, Hunson Abadeer, with ominous intent. She barged forward, scattering the Banana Guards and went for him. Picking him up, and started to question him. When he did not respond, she slapped him and asked again but still no response. After slapping him many times, he came through and looked confused, as if he did not know what just happened. His expression angered and annoyed the princess, her hand formed into a fist and punched him in the face. She delivered that punch hard, enough to throw him into the ground and broke two teeth from his mouth. She picked him up again and started to ask.
PB: "I won't ask again and listen closely to what I'm going to say. Where is he!? Where is Finn!? Where did you take him!? ANSWER ME or so help me in what I'm about to do to you next!" she asked while clenching her fist, ready to punch.
After a few seconds, Hunson Abadeer did not answer and because of that Princess Bubblegum landed another punch onto the face of the former ruler causing another tooth to fly out from his mouth. She then got annoyed and dropped the him then ordered Peppermint Butler and the Banana Guards to start searching the Land of Ooo for a way to enter the Nightosphere. Ordering them to search and nook and cranny they can find, leaving no rock unturned leave nothing unsearched. As for Hunson Abadeer, she ordered the captain of the Banana guards to lock him up and prepare him for interrogation and surprisingly enough, he cooperated.
While this was going on, Finn, the new ruler of the Nightosphere was making his way towards the center of the place. Falling, while holding Marceline the Vampire Queen, has nothing to break his fall. He looked around and saw a giant flying eyeball, he then grabbed its tail with one hand. Due to his weight and Marceline's, it has trouble flying and was about to crash onto a stone pillar but Finn let go of the tail and causing it to crash onto the wall. He then landed on to a giant boulder but it was in fact a curled-up demon. Dropping from it, he broke his landing by a pile of brains. He made his way towards the center and noticed something. All of the creatures that sees him, backed away and was trembling with fear. From the biggest to the smallest of kind, they all were afraid of him. A large demon kneeled and offer them to ride his back for transportation. After mounting himself and Marceline, they then move forwards. To make the trip faster, he ordered the large demon to pace faster even if it means to crash everything in its path just to get to his destination. As they arrived, he noticed that there was a giant tower in front. He ordered it to climb the tower and reach for the top. Arriving on the top, they were assisted by the demon and it left. He looked around and recognized the place as the office and home of the former ruler of the Nightosphere, Hunson Abadeer. Walking around, he noticed a door and entered through, it was the room of Hunson Abadeer. He placed Marceline on to the bed, carefully and tucked her in. He noticed something on the side of the bed, there were picture frames. There was a picture of Marceline when she was just a child, another was a picture of her with her mother. But there was no picture of Marceline and Hunson Abadeer to be found. Finn then smirked.
F: "You sad, sad thing. No wonder she she's like this to you. It's funny." he said.
He continued looking through the stuff and, and was satisfied to what he saw, left the room. He then sat down on to the chair in the center of the room, smiled and spoke.
F: "Just a little more, a little more and it's almost complete. When this is done, I'll conquer the Nightosphere then the Land of Ooo and all of the world. So just hang in there, little buddy. You can get through this and you'll finally get what you wanted the most. The one thing you want in this world will be yours, just wait a little while longer there little buddy. Soon. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!" he said sarcastically while laughing and holding the amulet.
Meanwhile in the Candy Kingdom, the Banana guards have begun the search. Peppermint butler and the captain of the Banana guards is inside of the interrogation room along with Hunson Abadeer. Strapped onto a candy steel chair was Hunson Abadeer, beside him is Peppermint Butler and guarding the door was the captain of the Banana guards. The door opened and came in Princess Bubblegum and she brought in a power generator. She then wore a pair of rubber gloves, long enough to cover her whole arms. Afterwards, she connected the wires from the power generator to what it seems to be a pair of gauntlets. She then wore the gauntlets and ordered Peppermint Butler to turn on the power generator. Electricity was surging through the wires, making its way to the gauntlets. The Princess then looked at Hunson Abadeer and said.
PB: "Tell us want we want and no one gets hurt. You don't want me to do this. You just don't." she declared.
After hearing so, Hunson Abadeer then looked at the princess and grinned, as if he was not afraid to what is going to happen to him. He then spoke up.
H: "Look at you, what are you trying to do? Torture me? Ha! Get real princess, you can't hurt me. I'm the answer to your questions. Now if you want answers, ask properly or you won't get any answers." he confidently said.
The princess, annoyed and angered, ordered Peppermint Butler to turn off the power generator and sat down in front of him.
PB: "Now, tell me what happened. Now." She said.
Hunson Abadeer smiled then explained what just happened.
H: "Well princess, it pretty simple. Finn is now the new ruler of the Nightosphere. He is now the new host of the amulet and is now in his possession. In the past, I tried to let Marceline take over the "family business" and I gave her the amulet. That amulet chooses its host by the "compatibility" it has. Marceline wasn't the best host for the amulet that's why it transformed her into me but let control. Then here comes the hero of Ooo and came along was his dog. He tried to save my daughter from the amulet by taking it from her. Guess what happened? He, too, was transformed into a monster like me but with no control. You see, the amulet seeks hosts depending on how pure their heart is. Marceline was pure of heart but was tainted because of the vampires she fought in the past. On the other hand, Finn, a hero among heroes, was indeed pure of heart. This was the perfect host for the amulet. When the amulet is worn, it "mixes" itself to the host, giving the host chaos. You haven't notice this before but have you seen Finn doing well? Not physically, of course. Did you ask him what he wanted? What he needed the most? The things that he desired? Of course not, because all of you treated him like a tool. Even though you were friends with him. You were really never there for him." he explained.
After listening to this, the princess, Peppermint Butler and the captain of the Banana guards was shocked. Hunson Abadeer continued.
H: "Now, here is what's going to happen to him. Slowly but painfully, he is going to be devoured by the amulet. He will be forever be tainted with chaos. The Finn that you saw and suddenly disappeared was not him, it was the amulet. For now, he is still "there" but he will disappear. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!" he laughed.
Meanwhile, Finn, trapped inside of the amulet, heard a voice. Asking him what does he want most in the world. This question kept on repeating to a feeling like an eternity for Finn then suddenly footsteps can be heard. It was a doppelganger of himself, and begun to ask him.
F: "Who's there!? Who are you!?" he asked.
Am: "Hi Finn, it's me. Remember me now? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Anyways, let's cut to the point and here's the deal, you let me use your body as a new host and in return, you get her. Marceline the Vampire Queen." he offered.
F: "Why would I do that!? Are you crazy or something!? Let me out and I'm gonna kick your butt! You hear me!?" he replied.
Am: "Look pal, I'm giving you here an option here, a choice to let it smooth in. Option one, you let me use you, conquer this world and in return, you what you desire most in the world. You get your girl or continue to be the hero that you are but will all be alone. Sure, continue protecting them, be treated as a hero but they will never know who you really are. They'll just see you as someone to rely on when danger comes and will walk away when they don't need you. Choose wisely Finn, your answer will decide it all." he asked.
Two options are available in front Finn, let the amulet take him over but in exchange, he gets what his heart desires the most, Marceline or escape, become the hero that he used to be. Become the saviour of the he is but in the exchange of no one will know who he really is, the story behind him.
What will happen to Finn? Will they ever find him? Will he agree to options he has?
