Bella's P.O.V
"Well say something!" I urge with tears streaming down my face.
He continues to just stare at me shocked.
"Zane," I plea softly as the tiny droplets of saltwater stream down my cheeks.
"Bella" he says, and you can hear the pain in his voice.
"Aren't you even going to…" I begin but stop with a sigh. I deserve this. I stand up. "I'll see you later Zane" I say sadly and walk away towards the ocean. I hope with all of my heart a swim will help dull the pain that's tearing at my heart.
He grabs my hand pulling me towards him.
"Bella, I'm sorry I caused this. I love Rikki, but I did love you. I will do whatever I can to make it up to you. I'll pay for all the expenses with the baby. I'm so sorry" he says looking me in the eyes.
He said the baby not our baby. I get out of his grasp and run towards my house as fast as my legs will go because my crying has already started and won't stop soon. While running I run into Will.
"Bella what's wrong? Are you okay?" he asks.
I wipe my tears with my hand quickly and try to talk as normal as possible.
"Yeah, I'm fine" I lie. "Are you sure?" he asks me. I nod.
"I'm totally fine" I say. "I need to go though" I say walking away at a slow pace until I turn a corner.
I rush into my house and get to my bed. I sit on it and weep.
Suddenly, I hear a knock on the front door, but I don't feel the urge to answer it.
"Bella some friends are here" my mother says.
I slowly push myself off my bed, and peak down the stairs to get a good view of the front door. It's Emma, an angry looking Rikki, and… Cleo! I run down the stairs and hug her.
"Cleo, I'm so sorry" I say as I squeeze her tighter.
"It's okay Bella" she says. We pull away from our hug and I look at Rikki reluctantly.
"Rikki, I know you're still angry, but I want you to know I'm so sorry" I say.
"We already went over this when you were at the moon pool throwing yourself a pity party" she snaps bitterly.
I blink back my tears from her words even thought they had venom in them. I deserve all of it. I turn to Emma.
"Hey Em" I say smiling.
She looks like she's thinking something over, but she gives into whatever it was and hugs me.
"Let's go upstairs" I say, and Rikki and Cleo make their way up there. While I'm walking Emma grabs my arm.
"That was for Cleo because she didn't need to see fighting because what she's been through. I'm frustrated with you still for hurting Rikki" she says. I nod understandingly. I hold in my apology because it will just get rejected anyway.
"Oh my gosh!" I hear Rikki say. I run upstairs to see what's gotten her to say that.
Once I get there I mentally smack myself in the head. I forgot to hide my pregnancy test things.
"Have you used them?" asks/demands Rikki.
I'm not going to start lying to them. I nod.
"Was it positive?" she asks/demands her voice getting louder.
"Yes" I whisper. Rikki does something out of character. She hugs me.
"Aren't you mad at me?" I ask between sobs.
"Zane came to me today and told me he broke up with you. When he told me I could see something in his eyes that he was hiding" she says. I feel more arms around me as all of us girls are in a group hug.
"So, do you forgive me?" I ask.
"…" she doesn't answer.
"I loved him Rikki. I knew him and loved him when he asked you out. I didn't stop loving him when he was with you. Love doesn't just go away. I gave into my desires when he came to me that night…" I hesitate.
"He said I was the one he wanted. I should have known it was wrong, but it was what I dreamt about" I say.
"Now I told him I'm pregnant, and he wants to pay for everything. Zane doesn't want this baby, and at the moment I'm scared. My baby won't have a father" I say crying at the end.
"Bella, I forgive you" Rikki says genuinely.
"I forgive you too" Emma says.
"The same as I" says Cleo. We hug tighter and all cry, even Rikki.
"Why didn't you call me when you woke up?" I ask Cleo.
"Charlotte was there" she says quickly.
"What did she do Cleo?" asks Emma.
"Nothing" she says.
"Cleo" I say trying to get her to tell us.
She shakes her head no.
"Cleo! You better tell me right now what she did to you, so I can do the same thing to her!" Rikki says angry.
"That's what I was afraid of! As much as I don't like Charlotte, I don't wish harm upon her!" says Cleo.
"She burnt me with her powers, and when the nurse came in there was no burn mark. She's more powerful than we thought" she says giving in.
"I'm going to…" begins Rikki when there is a knock at the door.
"What if it's Charlotte?" asks Cleo getting nervous. I hug her because since the whole Charlotte thing she seems a little jumpy and paranoid.
Rikki walks out of my room and goes down the stairs to open my door.
She opens it, and we all sigh in relief when it's Lewis.
"I know how we can get Cleo her powers back temporarily and get rid of Charlotte's temporarily" he says.
"Well your dad has had to change fishing routes because the fish are migrating. I talked to Sam about it, and she said it was comet causing the fish to migrate. If we get Cleo and Charlotte both in the moon pool at the same time when the comet goes over Mako Island then the power should be switched temporarily. I figured it out because Max said Gracie and Julia switched powers one time when this certain comet came over Mako Island" he says.
"But will it work with a human?" questions Emma.
"It's worth a shot, I guess" says Cleo.
"So, when does this comet pass over Mako?" I ask.
Kat from KatandEmmy told me how she planned for this think to work, but I changed it a little. I don't want this being the same comet that was suppose to end the world. In this story I made it not happen. This is a different comet.
